He asserted that the case was part of a larger political agenda, likening it to tactics employed by Russia and China. Trump vehemently denied any fraud, emphasizing that banks received full repayment and portrayed him as a valued customer.

In his remarks, Trump extended his criticism to Letitia James, labeling her a “horribly corrupt attorney general.” He suggested that the case was driven by a political agenda related to election interference. Trump argued that the absence of victims, given the banks’ financial gains, negates the need for such legal actions. “So I just want to say this: You build a great company. There was no fraud. The banks all got their money, 100 percent. They love Trump. They testified that Trump is great, great customer, one of our best customers. They testified beautifully, and the judge knows that. He is just a corrupt person and we knew that from the beginning. We knew it right from the beginning because he wouldn’t give it to the commercial division.”

She is a horribly corrupt attorney general and it’s all having to do with election interference,” Trump said. “There were no victims because the banks made a lot of money, they made $100 million. These are radical left Democrats, they are lunatics and it’s election interfering.”

Video: Cathedral Hosts Funeral for Atheist Transgender Activist

A huge funeral was held Thursday inside Manhattan’s St. Patrick’s Cathedral for transgender activist and atheist Cecilia Gentili of Brooklyn, who died February 6.

Gentili was 52 when he died of unknown causes at home, the Daily Mail reported Friday, noting that about 1,000 friends and fans of Gentili filled the church pews during the service.

The outlet described the scene:

A picture near the altar showed a haloed Ms. Gentili surrounded by the Spanish words for ‘transvestite,’ ‘whore,’ ‘blessed’ and ‘mother’ above the text of Psalm 25.

A mourner upstaged the priest at one point by singing ‘Ave Maria’ – but changing the lyrics to ‘Ave Cecilia’ before dancing through the aisles.

Presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said during an event this week that he does not believe that men with gender dysphoria should be allowed to compete against women in sports.

Kennedy made the remarks during an event with WNBA Star Angel McCoughtry when asked what he would do about the trans issue if he became president.

The recess underscores Willis’s lack of decorum during her testimony, in which the judge was forced to admonish the prosecutor.

After about an hour of testimony, the defense questioning Willis asked the prosecutor if Nathan Wade, Willis’s lover and fellow Trump prosecutor, ever visited her “at the place you laid your head.”

“When?” Willis replied.

“Has he ever visited you at the place you laid your head,” the defense against asked.

Tragedy Strikes Kansas City Super Bowl Parade: 1 Dead, 22 Wounded in Shocking Shooting

In a devastating turn of events, the jubilant atmosphere at the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl parade quickly transformed into chaos and horror as gunfire erupted near Union Station. The incident left one person dead and 22 others wounded, including nine children, casting a dark shadow over what was supposed to be a celebratory event.

Kansas City Police Chief Stacey Graves revealed that the shooting occurred around 2 p.m. near the Union Station parking garage, immediately after the rally concluded. A total of 11 children, aged between 6 and 15, were among the wounded, with all expected to recover according to Children’s Mercy Hospital.

During a press conference, Chief Graves confirmed that three individuals had been detained, and at least one weapon was recovered by the police. The wounded were swiftly transported to Children’s Mercy Hospital, Truman Medical, and Saint Luke’s, with eight deemed immediately life-threatening cases, seven with other life-threatening injuries, and six sustaining minor injuries.

Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas expressed his sorrow, stating, “The celebration was marred by a shooting. This is absolutely a tragedy.” He assured that all Chiefs players, staff, and their families were safe and accounted for.

The presence of 800 law enforcement officers at the parade and rally could not prevent the shocking incident, leaving Chief Graves visibly angered.

Missouri Gov. Mike Parson, who was present during the incident, expressed his shock and gratitude for the quick response of security officers and first responders. The FBI is providing assistance to the Kansas City Police Department in investigating the tragic event.

Eyewitness accounts, such as that of Kade Collins, paint a harrowing picture of the chaos that ensued. “We heard 10-12 gunshots, but we thought they were fireworks… then everyone started screaming and took off running,” described Collins. Amid the panic, individuals were seen helping the wounded, and police swiftly apprehended a suspect.

Heartbreakingly, Kansas City radio station KKFI identified one of the victims as Lisa Lopez, host of Taste of Tejano. Lopez lost her life in the shooting, and her brother, Lee’s Summit Mayor Pro Tem Beto Lopez, had two nieces and a nephew injured in the tragic incident. The community rallied around the Lopez family, offering prayers and condolences for their unimaginable loss.

A confused-looking President Biden paced back and forth behind King Abdullah II of Jordan Monday, apparently unsure of where to stand ahead of the royal’s remarks.

“Your majesty, over to you,” Biden, 81, told the king after welcoming him to the White House.

As Abdullah prepared to deliver his speech, the president shuffled around behind him and the podium, gazing down at the floor as if looking for a mark indicating the proper place for him to stand.

Biden waffled between two different spots before settling on what was initially his first choice, to Abdullah’s left side and in front of the Jordanian flag.
