The Department of Defense ordered a handful of news media outlets to vacate their offices inside the Pentagon so that they may be replaced by some conservative press organizations.

In a memo issued on Friday, Acting Assistant Secretary of Defense John Ullyot said the Pentagon wanted to “broaden access to the limited space of the Correspondents Corridor to outlets that have not previously enjoyed the privilege and journalistic value of working from physical office space in the Pentagon.”

It was not clear what if any role Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth played in the decision.

The department’s “new Annual Media Rotation Program” will begin on Feb. 14, and will require The New York Times, NBC News, National Public Radio, and Politico to vacate “their physical office space effective” on that date. Trump Was Right: FAA Turned Away Qualified Controllers Over Race

On Thursday, while addressing Thursday’s plane crash near Washington, D.C., President Donald Trump blasted both the Obama and Biden administrations for prioritizing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives within the Federal Aviation Administration and the Department of Transportation.

“I put safety first. Obama, Biden, and the Democrats put policy first, and they put politics at a level that nobody’s ever seen,” Trump told reporters in the White House briefing room. . .

“It’s one thing for internet pundits to spew up conspiracy theories,” Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) said. “It’s another for the president of the United States of America to throw out idle speculation even as victims are still being recovered and families are still being notified. It turns your stomach.”

But Trump was not wrong.

In fact, concerns about the FAA’s DEI policies are not new. Critics have long argued that these policies have distracted from essential safety measures, particularly during a period marked by air traffic controller shortages, outdated equipment, and an increase in near misses. Reports indicate that the air traffic controller on duty during the incident was effectively managing the responsibilities of two people. Chilling audio from air traffic control captured the moment the flight safety agency reported the horrific midair collision between an American Airlines jet and a Black Hawk military helicopter.

On Wednesday night, American Airlines Flight 5342 collided with an Army Black Hawk helicopter, exploding in a fiery impact as it approached Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport in Washington, DC.

In a recording of air tower communications at the time of the horrific collision, captured by LiveATC.net, an aircraft can be heard calling the tower just seconds after the CRJ700 Bombardier jet carrying 64 passengers and crew got in touch.

Meta Employees Take Matters Into Their Own Hands

After tampons, liners, and pads were removed from men’s bathrooms earlier this month, they mysteriously reappeared — not through company policy, but through the quiet defiance of workers who brought in their own supplies. According to five anonymous sources cited by The New York Times, employees also circulated a petition calling for Meta to reinstate the amenities.

Meta, however, stood firm on its stance. The company reportedly responded it had “not been the intention of Meta leadership to make employees feel unwelcome or excluded in our offices, [but] at this point, we do not have plans to revisit our on-site amenities offerings.” Don’t worry, though — the feedback was shared with leadership. New Video Released of the Collision

By Breitbart. An airplane has reportedly crashed at Ronald Reagan Airport in Washington, DC, grounding all takeoffs and landings.

Joint Task Force-National Capitol Region media chief Heather Chairez told CNN’s Natasha Bertrand, “We can confirm that the aircraft involved in tonight’s incident was an Army UH-60 helicopter from Bravo Company, 12th Aviation Battalion, out of Davison Army Airfield, Fort Belvoir during a training flight. We are working with local officials and will provide additional information once it becomes available.”

A closeup video published on X shows what appears to be the Black Hawk approaching the CRJ jet from the left of the screen. The faint dot of the helicopter continues to approach and eventually collides with the CRJ. An explosion ensues and both aircraft fall from the sky.

Vice President JD Vance asked for prayers for everyone involved in the collision. “We’re monitoring the situation, but for now let’s hope for the best,” the vice president wrote.

An Air Traffic Control audio posted on X appears to indicate the controller asked the helicopter (PAT-25) if they had the airliner (CRJ) in sight. Moments later, the controller seems to instruct PAT-25 to pass behind the CRJ). The exchange occurs in the opening seconds of this audio. About 30 seconds later, an unknown pilot asks “Tower, did you see that?”

64 People on Downed American Airlines Jet, First US Commercial Plane Crash Since 2009

By Fox News. Rescue efforts underway concentrated near Woodrow Wilson Memorial Bridge for mid-air collision involving a PSA Airlines Bombardier CRJ700 regional jet and Army UH-60 helicopter Sikorsky UH-60 helicopter while on approach to Runway 33 at Reagan Washington National Airport around 9 p.m. local time.

Flight 5342 for American Airlines had 60 passengers and four crew on board the flight that collided.

USDA Responds to Report That Official Was Escorted From Office After Trump Firing

The former inspector general of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) was reportedly escorted out of her office Monday after she “refused to comply” with her termination – though the USDA denies that she was forcibly removed.

Phyllis Fong, who has worked for the USDA for 22 years, was fired on Friday, but she reportedly told her colleagues that she planned to continue working. Reuters reported on Wednesday that Fong was removed by security officials and “refused to comply” with her termination.

Before her firing, the government employee said she believed that the newly inaugurated Trump administration was acting improperly by terminating officials so suddenly.

In an email obtained by Reuters, Fong said the Council of the Inspectors General on Integrity and Efficiency (CIGIE) had “taken the position that these termination notices do not comply with the requirements set out in law and therefore are not effective at this time.”

Government-Run Healthcare Disaster: 75,000 Dead Because They Were Stuck on Waitlists for Surgeries or Diagnoses

Some 75,000 people have died over the past few years because they were on waitlists for surgeries or diagnoses, according to a new report.

The report at ZeroHedge said the death count for just 2023-24 was 15,000 Canadians, as patients there “waited years for treatment they never received” or those who “turned to euthanasia due to lack of timely care.” . . .

Canada is one of the nations with a socialized medical program, where treatment is supposed to be free, but in reality it’s turned out the treatment often is rare, or even unobtainable, as the record shows physicians have offered their patients euthanasia instead of treatment. . .

“SecondStreet.org collected the data by filing Freedom of Information (FOI) requests across Canada. When the data collected is extrapolated across jurisdictions which did not provide data, the number actually nearly doubles, to around 28,077. These figures cover everything from cancer treatment and heart operations to cataract surgery and MRI scans,” the report explained.

Harrison Fleming, an official with SecondStreet, said, “Canadians pay really high taxes and yet our health care system is failing when compared to better-performing universal systems in Europe. Donald Trump Offers All Federal Workers an 8-Month Buyout to Resign

President Trump continued his crusade to thin out the federal bureaucracy by offering all 2 million federal workers eight months’ salary in exchange for resigning from their positions.

Under the deal, employees who resign by Feb. 6 would receive severance paid through Sept. 30, an unprecedented buyout for the federal government.

White House officials say the move could entice 5% to 10% of the federal workforce to quit, resulting in a savings of around $100 billion. Any government employee is eligible for the buyout, though military personnel are exempt.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said American taxpayers deserve federal employees “who actually show up to work in our wonderful federal buildings, also paid for by taxpayers.”

“If they don’t want to work in the office and contribute to making America great again, then they are free to choose a different line of work, and the Trump administration will provide a very generous payout of 8 months,” she said in a statement. By Fox News. Less than 600 people crossed illegally into the U.S. from Mexico on Sunday – a stunningly low number since President Donald Trump took office.

Sources tell Fox News that not a single one of the nine sectors received more than 200 crossings on Jan. 26, and the number of daily encounters only reached 582 in total. The Del Rio sector – which is the same sector that would sustain over 4,000 crossings per day during the height of the border crisis in December 2023 – only recorded 60 crossings.

For comparison, the daily number of border encounters during the final days of the Biden White House teetered between 1,200 to 1,400 per day.

Dr. Phil Teams Up with Tom Homan, ICE for High-Stakes Takedown of Criminal Illegal Aliens

Dr. Phil McGraw’s cameras were rolling this week as U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) launched a controversial operation targeting illegal immigrants in one of the United State’s biggest sanctuary cities. The former doctor TV host joined President Donald Trump’s border czar, Tom Homan, to carry out deportation efforts in Chicago, where he filmed several arrests, including interrogating a convicted child-sex offender who tried to defend himself being in the U.S. illegally.

“These are known criminals and terrorists. We’re talking about murderers, child traffickers, child rapists. We’re talking about bad actors, both in the countries they’ve come from and since they’ve been here in the United States,” McGraw said as ICE agents carried out Trump’s border orders.

In one scene, McGraw asked the convicted sex offender and internet predator from Thailand, who had been illegally residing in Chicago, if he had been charged with sex crimes with children. In response, the illegal immigrant brushed off the question, saying, “Not really.”

“Not really!?” McGraw shockingly replied.

The illegal alien insisted he had never been deported and that his mother was a U.S. citizen. He recognized McGraw from his television show and frequently dodged the famous psychologist’s questions.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth Says ‘No More DEI at Department of Defense’: ‘No Exceptions’

By Fox News. The Department of Defense (DoD) is the latest agency that is disbanding all diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs following President Donald Trump’s executive order terminating all federal DEI programs.

“The President’s guidance (lawful orders) is clear: No more DEI at Dept. of Defense,” Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth wrote in a post on X.

In a handwritten note shared along with the post on X, Hegseth wrote: “The Pentagon will comply, immediately. No exceptions, name-changes, or delays.”

Hegseth added that “those who do not comply will no longer work here.”

Sen. John Kennedy, R-La., echoed Hegseth, writing: “The best way to stop discriminating against people on the basis of race or gender is to stop discriminating against people on the basis of race or gender,” Kennedy wrote in a post on X. “Let DEI die.”
