Officers Left ‘Visibly Shaken’ After Entering Home, Arresting Father For ‘One Of The Most Horrific Things’

A man beheaded his one-year-old son during a domestic violence incident early Friday in Sacramento, local police reported.

Andrey Demskiy, 28, was found with his son’s head in a bedroom in his Antelope residence after police broke through to arrest him, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO). It was “a gruesome discovery,” the SCSO said.

The SCSO’s North Patrol Deputies were at Demskiy’s residence in response to a family disturbance report that they received at about 4:15 a.m. The deputies found Demskiy’s wife and her mother outside the residence. Demsky’s wife alleged that Demskiy had assaulted her and her mother, who was injured. Emergency personnel took the injured woman to the hospital — her injuries were non-life-threatening, the SCSO said.

Demskiy had barricaded himself within the residence and would not surrender, according to the statement. The deputies learned that the accused was with his son whom he might have injured after throwing him. The deputies then broke into the residence out of concern for the child’s safety. They overpowered and arrested the uncooperative and combative Demskiy, and discovered his severed child’s head, the SCSO said.

Investigators determined that Demskiy had assaulted his wife and her mother and, after the two women left the house to wait for the police, decapitated his son with a knife, according to the SCSO.

U.S. Navy Cruiser Accidentally Shoots Down U.S. Fighter Jet in Red Sea

In a rare and concerning incident over the Red Sea, the USS Gettysburg, a guided missile cruiser, accidentally shot down a U.S. fighter jet early on Sunday morning, marking what U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) described as “an apparent case of friendly fire.”

The incident involved an F-18 fighter jet, which was operating from the USS Harry S. Truman aircraft carrier, part of a U.S. Navy strike group currently deployed in the region. According to CENTCOM, the two Navy pilots onboard the F-18 managed to eject safely before the jet was shot down. One of the pilots sustained minor injuries, but both were rescued and returned to safety. CENTCOM confirmed that the incident was not caused by hostile fire, and a full investigation is now underway to determine how the accident occurred.

The USS Gettysburg is part of the USS Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group, which is currently stationed in the Red Sea as part of ongoing U.S. military operations in the Middle East. While CENTCOM provided few details on the exact circumstances of the accident, the timing and location suggest the incident may be linked to the tense security environment in the region.

The Truman Carrier Strike Group is engaged in multiple missions, including the protection of international shipping lanes in the Red Sea, as well as support for Israel amidst its ongoing conflict with Hamas. Additionally, U.S. forces are actively involved in countering missile and drone attacks from the Iranian-backed Houthi rebel group in Yemen.

CENTCOM has previously pointed to the complexity of the environment, where incoming missile and drone threats from the Houthis have given sailors only seconds to react. It’s possible that the fast-paced nature of these operations, combined with the proximity of friendly and hostile forces, contributed to the tragic mistake.

The U.S. military has been involved in a number of operations in the region, particularly in response to the growing threats from the Houthis. On the day before the accidental shootdown, U.S. warplanes conducted airstrikes on a missile facility in the Yemeni capital of Sanaa, targeting a site reportedly used by the Houthis to launch attacks against U.S. and international interests in the region.

The Houthis, who are backed by Iran, have increasingly escalated their efforts to disrupt shipping in the Red Sea and launch strikes against U.S. and Saudi targets. Following the shootdown of the F-18, the group’s spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Saree claimed responsibility for launching eight drones and 17 cruise missiles at U.S. military assets, including the jet. However, CENTCOM has unequivocally stated that the downing of the F-18 was due to friendly fire, not a Houthi attack.

While the investigation into the accident is still in its early stages, CENTCOM has emphasized that the shootdown was not the result of hostile action. The U.S. military’s response to the incident will likely include a thorough review of operational protocols and communication systems aboard the USS Gettysburg and within the broader strike group.

Gay Couple Who Showed Off Picture-Perfect Family Get 100 Years in Prison for Horrific Rape of Adopted Sons

A gay Georgia couple convicted of sickening sexually abuse of their two adopted sons will spend the rest of the lives behind bars.

William and Zachary Zulock, 34 and 36, were each sentenced last week to 100 years in prison without the possibility of parole, the Walton County District Attorney’s office announced.

“These two Defendants truly created a house of horrors and put their extremely dark desires above everything and everyone else,” said District Attorney Randy McGinley, according to WSB-TV.

“However, the depth of the Defendants’ depravity, which is as deep as it gets, is not greater than the resolve of those that fought for justice and the strength of the victims in this case. The resolve I have seen from these two young victims over the last two years is truly inspiring,” he added.

Women Accused of Shoplifting in Blue State Shocked to Learn Punishment Has Changed

Police in California released a video of a trio of alleged shoplifters who were shocked to find out that the penalty for their crime had recently changed.

In the viral surveillance video shared by the Seal Beach Police Department on Sunday, three women can be seen walking into an Ulta Beauty store, browsing the shelves, then casually exiting the business with what police said was nearly $650 worth of stolen merchandise.

“… a friendly reminder that Proposition 36, which increases punishments for some retail theft and drug possession offenses, went into effect Wednesday morning in California,” the Seal Beach Police Department wrote in the caption of the video on their Instagram account.

The Democratic Party is a mess. The spending bill circus wasn’t the prettiest of spectacles, but don’t let that sideshow distract you from the wider mayhem engulfing the Left. They’re in for more pain if they don’t course correct, and given how some top officials have reacted to their 2024 loss—they’re not keen on changing their ways for the future. No, this doesn’t mean the GOP is the beneficiary of the permanent political majority, a term I loathe. Still, it does mean Republicans could be in for two, maybe three, good election cycles since normal voters are tired of liberal America’s condescension and elitism.

Progressive research groups cannot sweep this under the rug: most voters view Democrats as being the punchable faces of American politics. That’s because they are. Our friends at Twitchy had this first, but the advantages the Left once had in elections have evaporated completely. As pollster Tony Fabrizio told us, We also learned that the most effective ad against Kamala Harris was this cycle. Democrats conducting post-mortems on their sweeping losses in 2024 are finding more reason for alarm. And the problem isn’t just Kamala Harris or Joe Biden.

In a trio of focus groups, even voters who previously backed Democrats cast the party as weak and overly focused on diversity and elites, according to research by the progressive group Navigator Research.

When asked to compare the Democratic Party to an animal, one participant compared the party to an ostrich because “they’ve got their heads in the sand and are absolutely committed to their own ideas, even when they’re failing.” Another likened them to koalas, who “are complacent and lazy about getting policy wins that we really need.” Democrats, another said, are “not a friend of the working class anymore.”

Homeowner Arrested After Trying to Move Back Into Her House Inhabited by Squatter

A Georgia woman was arrested and charged with criminal trespassing after she tried to move into her own home — but was rebuffed by an alleged squatter.

“I spent the night on a mat on a concrete floor in deplorable conditions while this woman, this squatter, slept in my home,” said Loletha Hale, who was arrested outside her mother’s old home in Livingston on Dec. 9.

Hale had arrived at the house to clean the place out after a months-long battle with the alleged squatter, Sakemeyia Johnson, whom a court had ordered out in mid-November.

But when she arrived, Johnson – who had never been a tenant of Hale, and was merely related to an evicted tenant’s partner — was still inside, and had brought somebody along to intimidate Hale.

Outgoing U.S. President Joe Biden still has another four weeks until he leaves office, but he has pardoned or commuted sentences for some 1,500 people. There are sweepstakes for what the total number of will be, but there is one person – not even an American citizen for whom the Democrat’s largesse and clemency might fundamentally change a country.

The move came following the first U.S. diplomatic visit to Syria since 2012. Barbara Leaf, assistant secretary of state for Near Eastern affairs, told reporters she had informed Ahmed Hussein al-Sharaa, whose nom de guerre is Abu Mohammad al-Julani, and who is leader of the Islamist Hayat Tahrir al-Sham or HTS group which led Assad’s overthrow, the United States would not pursue a $10 million terrorism bounty on him for his role as the head of a U.S.-designated foreign terrorist group, reported the Jewish News Syndicate.

Seth Frantzman, Adjunct Fellow at the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies, who is a seasoned watcher of things Syrian and covered parts of the civil war on the ground said “once al-Julani took over Damascus and the Assad regime was gone, he was no longer just the head of some militant group. Furthermore, he has made himself very publicly available and he has had meetings with both Turkish and EU diplomats.

To keep the bounty would be impractical and it has outlasted its usefulness. Ultimately, it looks like the U.S. would like to give him and his organization a chance to moderate, and engage with the West. It is an incentive either to him personally or HTS in general to not be what he or they used to be, which is known as an off-shoot of al-Qaida.”

Lt. Col. (res.) Sarit Zehavi, who is the founder and president of the Alma Research and Education Center told WorldNetDaily al-Julani’s rehabilitation as an accepted statesman and de facto Syrian leader was “a bad lesson for terrorists to learn. WATCH: ‘Majestic’ Owl Comes Down Family’s Chimney to Perch on Christmas Tree

A wide-eyed creature recently decided to give a family in Arlington, Virginia, a surprise Christmas visit.

The family was in shock when they realized a Barred Owl had come down their chimney like Santa Claus and made itself at home, WUSA 9 reported on Friday.

The Burgoyne family recorded the owl flying around inside their home before it decided to perch on top of their Christmas tree.

Sgt. Murray with the Animal Welfare League of Arlington arrived at the scene to help capture the bird and eventually released it back into its own habitat.

“Twas the week before Christmas, and perched on the tree was an unexpected visitor as majestic as can be!” the animal welfare group wrote in a social media post on Thursday that featured pictures of the owl inside the house:

‘They Want to Groom Your Children’: University of Minnesota Fronted Cash to Get 5-Year-Olds to Play With Sex-Change Dolls

The University of Minnesota is facing criticism over attempts to pay to have little kids play with sex-change dolls.

The National Center for Gender Spectrum Health is a radical initiative of the taxpayer-funded University of Minnesota’s Institute for Sexual and Gender Health. The stated goal of the center, which is run by World Professional Association for Transgender Health members Katherine Spencer and Dianne Berg, is to “promote the well-being of all people across the gender spectrum (including those who are cisgender, transgender, and gender diverse).”

The NCGSH — which boasts of having secured over $87,000 in grant funding — put out a call in February for “transgender and gender diverse children between the ages of 5 and 10 years old and their parents,” asking them to participate in a “hands-on activity to help talk about gender and bodies!”

The flyer noted further that “children and parents will meet a few times in groups with others to play with and give us ideas about the activities” and promised compensation between $20 and $60 per group.
