Judge Makes Crucial Ruling on Media’s Written Assault on Young Football Fan Wearing Facepaint

A judge has determined that a written assault on a young football fan wearing facepaint in honor of his team and his heritage by Deadspin, in the words of a column on its pages, is actionable.

A report from the Associated Press said the judge found the “image of a child displaying his passionate fandom as a backdrop for its critique of the NFL’s diversity efforts and, in its description of the child,” actually crossed the line of protected speech.

“Having reviewed the complaint, the court concludes that Deadspin’s statements accusing H.A. of wearing black face and Native headdress ‘to hate black people and the Native American at the same time,’ and that he was taught this hatred by his parents, are provable false assertions of fact and are therefore actionable.”

The decision is from Delaware Superior Court Judge Sean Lugg, who rejected Deadspin’s demand that the lawsuit by the family of the child be dismissed. . .

Case was brought by Californians Raul Armenta Jr. and his wife, Shannon, on behalf of their son, Holden, 9. (Read more from “Judge Makes Crucial Ruling on Media’s Written Assault on Young Football Fan Wearing Facepaint” HERE)

Concerns Raised Over Response Amid Hurricane: FEMA Sabotaging Volunteer Relief Efforts

Recent events in North Carolina have sparked significant concern regarding the actions of FEMA and the National Guard during hurricane relief efforts. Reports indicate that a FEMA helicopter was seen flying low over a volunteer supply drop zone, allegedly due to tensions with volunteers who refused to allow FEMA to confiscate their supplies. This incident has raised questions about the federal agency’s priorities and its relationship with local volunteers.

A tweet from WorldNetDaily detailed these reports, highlighting the volunteers’ refusal to relinquish supplies intended for those affected by Hurricane Helene.

Compounding these concerns, President Biden's comments regarding the disaster response have also drawn scrutiny. During a recent public appearance, he appeared unaware of which storm was being referred to, prompting reactions from observers questioning his engagement with the ongoing crisis. In another statement, Biden assured that states affected by Hurricane Helene were "getting everything they need," a claim that some find hard to believe given the reported challenges on the ground.

‘Incredible’: President Joe Biden Accused of Trying to ‘Destroy’ Kamala Harris’s Campaign

President Joe Biden (D) is being accused of trying to ruin Vice President Kamala Harris’s (D) campaign for the White House.

During a press conference Friday, a reporter asked Biden how Harris worked on recent crises in the nation and “what role she has played over the past several days,” according to video footage.

“I’m in constant contact with her,” Biden said. “She’s aware… we’re singing from the same song sheet. She helped pass all the laws that are being employed now. She was a major player in everything we’ve done, including passage of legislation in which we were told we could never pass.”

“Her staff is interlocked with mine in terms of all the things we’re doing,” Biden added. . .

AI Has Shown Us the Face of Christ. Will It Bring More to the Faith?

. . .Christianity isn’t merely a story that’s been retold for millennia; it is the story. It’s the one that never grows old, never fades with the times.

Sometimes, the new chapters of this story come in the most unexpected ways. A recent example is how the Shroud of Turin — a centuries-old relic long thought to be a medieval hoax — found its way back into the public conversation. . .

AI gave us the face of the Lord

But it’s not just relics like the Shroud that are undergoing a digital transformation. Technology is now playing a central role in how we encounter faith.

The face of Jesus — something people have dreamed of, imagined, and painted for millennia — has been recreated by artificial intelligence. Using data from the Shroud and other sources, AI systems have attempted to render what may be the most accurate depiction of Christ’s face.

It’s a face that’s both familiar and new. The long hair, the beard, the haunting eyes — eyes that seem to look into not just the world but each of us, individually, deeply. (Read more from “AI Has Shown Us the Face of Christ. Will It Bring More to the Faith?” HERE)

Dems’ Latest Attack Accidentally Makes Trump Look Cool as Hell

Democrats really think they got him this time. “Dangerous,” “weird,” an ominous blood red backdrop with two spectral faces simultaneously blending together and ripping apart. . .

This latest hit from the official X account of The Democrats seems to imply that the bloodthirsty spirit of a Trump-Vance presidency hovers in the air like phantasmal smog. They’re going to end democracy, turn women into broodmares for high-status men, put you back in chains — you know, whatever political domination fetish they’re pushing these days.

But in reality, nothing could possibly make this duo look cooler. This could easily be the cover art for the best punk album since “Ramones” (1976). Or even better, maybe it’s a billboard for a new right-wing futurist art exhibit on Manhattan’s grungy Lower East Side. I’d love to see this plastered on some exposed brick on Wooster Street. Or maybe the Dems have just spent too much time fuming over Raw Egg Nationalist’s Man’s World Magazine. The aesthetic is suspiciously similar, but a little dose of masculinity can’t possibly hurt whatever fem-boy mocked this up. Colorado Judge Receives Threats After Sentencing Tina Peters to Prison

A rural Colorado county courthouse beefed up security Friday after threats were made against staff and a judge who sentenced former county clerk Tina Peters to nearly nine years behind bars and admonished her for her role in a data breach scheme catalyzed by the lie that the 2020 election was stolen from former President Donald Trump.

Courthouse staff in Grand Junction, Colorado, received multiple threats that were being vetted by law enforcement while extra security was provided, said spokesperson Wendy Likes with the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office.

She did not say how many threats were made or how they were received. She also declined to describe the extra security. . .

Peters, a Republican, was sentenced Thursday for allowing access to the county’s election system to a man affiliated with My Pillow chief executive Mike Lindell — a prominent promoter of [] claims that voting machines were manipulated to steal the election. WATCH: Kamala Harris Melts Down After Teleprompter Malfunctions at Rally

Vice President Kamala Harris appeared to have no idea what to say when her teleprompter seemingly stopped working near the beginning of her speech at a Michigan campaign rally, with the video going viral on social media.

During her Friday event in Flint, Harris kept repeating that it was “32 days” until the election as she cackled:

“So 32 days… 32 days… Okay. We got some business to do. We got some business to do… All right,” the Democrat said. “32 days… and we know we will do it, and, and this is gonna be a very tight race until the very end.” . . .

How Did 50K Dockworkers Strike at U.S. Ports With Only 25K Jobs?

Nearly 50,000 dockworkers launched a strike this week at ports from Maine to Texas — but, in a bizarre quirk that has resulted from massive concessions to the union over the decades, the affected ports only employ 25,000.

There’s a massive gulf in the numbers between those who show up for work and total membership in the powerful International Longshoremen’s Association, which won a deal late Thursday for a 62% wage increase over the next six years.

That’s because half of the dockworkers at the East and Gulf coast ports are allowed to sit at home collecting “container royalties” negotiated decades ago to protect against job losses that result from innovation, according to The Wall Street Journal.

The impact of these no-show jobs at the ports — controlled by ILA’s highly-paid and foul-mouthed president Harold Daggett — were part of an explosive 2019-2020 Waterfront Commission report cited by The Journal’s editorial board on Friday.

That report laid out how the ILA’s iron grip helps some workers at the expense of countless other blue-collar applicants by refusing to hire residents near the ports — and reignited concerns about the mob’s control over US shipping made famous in the classic film “On the Waterfront.” (Read more from “How Did 50K Dockworkers Strike at U.S. Ports With Only 25K Jobs?” HERE)

Joe Rogan Laughs as He Reads Trump’s Savage Letter To Mark Cuban After His Show ‘Benefactor’ Was Axed

We may now have a clearer idea as to why Mark Cuban’s Stage 5 TDS has kicked into overdrive lately. Cuban is known for being an unhinged loudmouth, but lately, he’s really cranked it up a notch, channeling his inner “Keith Olbermann.” Every chance he gets, he’s ranting and raving about President Trump.

Many folks have been wondering what’s going on with Mark Cuban and why he’s been so agitated with Trump lately. Way more than usual. Sure, it’s an election year, but even so, Mark really seemed extra peeved. Well, we may finally have the answer, thanks to a newly revealed 2024 letter that President Trump sent to Cuban. As you know, Trump is famous for his letter-writing—whether it’s heartwarming or brutally savage, he knows how to make an impact. And after Cuban’s show “The Benefactor” got axed, Trump sent him one of those classic, slicing-and-dicing letters. It’s a doozy.

PATHETIC: Kamala Announces $750 for Helene Victims After WH Pledged Another $8B for Ukraine

By Breitbart. Vice President Kamala Harris announced $750 in aid for Hurricane Helene victims, just days after her and President Joe Biden’s administration announced $8 billion in a new installment of aid for Ukraine.

Harris spent the weekend campaigning on the West Coast as the hurricane unleashed deadly destruction across the nation’s southwest, killing hundreds of Americans, with hundreds more still missing.

On Wednesday, Harris visited Georgia — two days after former President Donald Trump visited — and announced what many are criticizing as a measly amount of aid for hurricane victims: $750.

Harris touted during remarks in Augusta, Georgia, “The federal relief and assistance that we have been providing has included FEMA providing $750 for folks who need immediate needs being met, such as food, baby formula, and the like. And you can apply now.”

Sorry, Hurricane Victims: Harris-Biden Already Spent Your Relief Funds on Migrants

By New York Post. The next Americans to get slammed by the Harris-Biden border disaster: hurricane victims!

Homeland Security chief Alejandro Mayorkas, who also oversees the Federal Emergency Management Agency, announced Wednesday that “FEMA does not have the funds to make it” through the rest of hurricane season — because it’s already emptied its emergency kitty on illegal-migrant expenses.

It’s now sending Helene victims $750 checks to finish off of a fund of just $10 million to help hurricane survivors buy groceries. . .

Meanwhile, FEMA’s devoted $641 million this year just to help state and local governments handle the influx.

(Of course, Mayor Adams will point out that this federal help is far short of what localities need to cover their migrant costs. But Biden’s not asking for an appropriation to pay for that, because then he’d have to admit the cost of his open-border policies: Far better to just deplete FEMA’s funds, then tell Adams and other mayors to just suck it up, or else).

To be fair, it’s not just Mayorkas who didn’t prep properly for this year’s hurricanes: Kamala Harris reportedly skipped the annual pre-storm-season briefing, indeed has opted out every year she’s been veep.
