It was a bad election day, all things considered, for the Republican Party on Tuesday as the red wave diminished to a trickle. Tough decisions lie ahead, but perhaps there’s some glimmer of hope on the horizon.

New numbers coming out of Arizona are not only showing the races there tightening but GOP gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake is likely favored to win over Democrat Katie Hobbs. Blake Masters, who is running for senate, also now has a clear, though, more difficult path to beat Democrat Mark Kelly.

You may remember the primary race that took place in Arizona some months ago. Kari Lake was actually down double digits late into the night. It wasn’t until the days after election day that she overtook her GOP rival to become the gubernatorial candidate. That’s because Arizona typically counts election day votes last and Lake’s voters were the type who voted on election day. That dynamic is continuing in the general election, and as it stands, it does appear there are enough ballots outstanding for Lake to come out victorious assuming there’s not a surprise drop of mail-in ballots that aren’t being considered in the equation. Whistleblower: Joe Biden Involved With Family Gambling Business in 2012 (VIDEO)

By Breitbart. President Joe Biden was involved with a family gambling business venture in Latin America while he was vice president of the United States, a whistleblower revealed Monday.

The revelation again contradicts Joe Biden’s vow he never spoke to his son on multiple occasions about the family’s business ventures.

The informant told the Daily Mail Joe Biden’s involvement included conducting a conference call in 2012 with Hunter Biden, his business partner Jeff Cooper, the late Harry Reid, and his son Key Reid about an online gambling platform, Ocho Global, which was operating in Mexico, Peru, Uruguay, and Argentina.

“With the direct observations I had, it’s obvious Joe was participating in the business,” the source stated. “He wasn’t passive, he was talking about it. If I had to describe him, he was like a member of the Board of Directors.”

The whistleblower described additional interactions from the phone call:

‘Harry Reid asked whether or not the Peruvian government had been taken care of,’ the source said. ‘Cooper replied that it had all been taken care of; the Peruvian cooperation was in place.

By Daily Mail. Joe Biden was involved in his son Hunter’s foreign business deals while he was Vice President, a new whistleblower with direct knowledge claims.

The whistleblower has identified themselves to Senate investigators but asked to remain anonymous for fear of reprisals. . .

The alleged call was not recorded, but DailyMail.com has independently verified the whistleblower was closely involved in Cooper’s company for years, including at the time of the conference call, and was in a position to be involved in discussions on Ocho’s business development.

Aspects of the source’s story were verified using published government records and corporate filings. The whistleblower also provided documents, emails and photographs corroborating their account of their involvement with Cooper and Hunter’s company.

They are the second person to come forward attesting to Joe Biden’s involvement in his son’s foreign business dealings, after Hunter’s former business partner Tony Bobulinski revealed in October 2020 that he discussed their deal with Chinese oil giant CEFC directly with Joe. However, left-wing CNN highlighted several instances on Saturday where the president made false or misleading statements in October and November. . .

CLAIM: On Thursday in New Mexico, Biden stated former President Donald Trump’s 2017 tax cuts only benefited the top one percent, a claim he also made at this year’s State of the Union address.

VERDICT: While the tax cuts benefited top earners, middle-class Americans also received significant tax cuts in the following years after the legislation was signed. As Breitbart News’s John Carney writes:

Eighty-two percent of American middle-class households received a tax cut and Americans altogether received an average tax cut of $1,260. Ninety percent of Americans saw an increase in take-home pay. The tax cuts raised wage growth by 3.3 percent and helped foster historic lows in unemployment.

Biden Promises Climate Activist at Rally in New York: ‘No More Drilling’… but Days Ago He Blamed Oil Companies for Not Drilling Enough

By Breitbart. President Joe Biden told a climate activist on Sunday he would not allow any new drilling in the United States, just days after he complained that oil companies are not drilling enough.

“No more drilling. There is no more drilling,” Biden said, speaking to a climate activist as he finished up a rally in New York for Gov. Kathy Hochul (D-NY). “I haven’t formed any new drilling.”

A young woman standing front and center held up a sign protesting Biden for allowing drilling on federal lands. . .

Biden’s comment to the climate activist differed from his statements on Wednesday when he blamed oil companies for not drilling enough.

“We haven’t slowed them down at all. Poll Worker Reportedly Ousted for Pre-Selecting Democrats on Machines

An Indiana election office reportedly ejected a Democrat poll worker over allegations that he had pressured poll-goers against voting for certain candidates and even pre-selected Democratic candidates on a voting machine last week, local election officials told Fox News.

The incidents took place at a polling place in Carmel, Indiana, under the Hamilton County Election Office. Hamilton County election administrator Beth Sheller declined to confirm the poll worker’s identity in an interview with Fox News Digital, but detailed a report from the inspector at the polling location.

Sheller stated that the inspector had learned of two separate incidents that may constitute electioneering and election interference. The poll worker, first identified by Chalkboard Review executive director Tony Kinnett as James Zheng, is now reportedly being investigated by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, and Sheller says she hopes to see Zheng prosecuted.

The first incident took place early Thursday evening as a group of education activists stood outside the Carmel polling place and advocated for pro-parent school board candidates. Sheller says the worker spoke with a pair of black voters who entered the polling station and urged them not to vote for the pro-parent candidates, arguing that the activists outside were “racist.”

That pair of voters then cast their ballots and approached the activists outside, informing them of what the poll worker had told them. The activists, which included a campaign worker for one of the candidates, then raised the issue with the workers inside. There are too many issues impacting voters and endless incompetence emanating from the Biden White House for anyone to care about this little home hammer time incident. Still, Rep. Tom Emmers (R-MN) had to call out the liberal media’s double standard regarding the Pelosi hammer assault (via Real Clear Politics):

RCC Chairman Rep. Tom Emmer pushed back against CBS’s Margaret Brennan when she blamed Republican campaign ads for inspiring a violent attack on the husband of Democratic Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

“I never saw anyone after Steve Scalise was shot by a Bernie Sanders supporter… Trying to equate Democrat rhetoric with those actions. Please don’t do that,” Emmer said on “Face The Nation.”

“I’m sure people like to talk about anything but what the Democrats have done to this country, which quite frankly is exploding cost of living,” he added.

Cancer Breakthrough: This Fruit Found to Significantly Fuel Tumor-Fighting Immune Cells

A new study shows that a substance found in pomegranates significantly boosts the immune system to fight cancer—triggering a constant supply of endless rejuvenated T cells.

German scientists studying therapies for colorectal cancer discovered that a metabolite in the red fruit, known as urolithin-A, rejuvenates immune T cells to make them better at fighting tumors. . .

A team in Frankfurt led by Professor Florian Greten is now closer to solving the problem. Their discovery shows that urolithin A recycles and renews mitochondria—the so-called power plants inside T cells—through a process known as mitophagy.

When the pomegranate agent is introduced, old and damaged mitochondria in the T cells are removed and replaced by new, functional ones. This changes the genetic make up of the T cells, which are then more capable of fighting the tumor.

“Our findings are particularly exciting because the focus is not on the tumor cell but on the immune system—the natural defense against cancer,” said Dr. Dominic Denk of the Frankfurt University Hospital and first author of the study. Laid-off Twitter Employees Reveal Their Fates: ‘8 Months Pregnant’

Elon Musk-led Twitter began a long-dreaded and drastic round of layoffs on Friday — and numerous workers took to the social media site to confirm they were caught in the bloodbath.

Company officials began informing laid-off employees about their fate via an email message on Friday morning as Musk scrambles to cut costs at the struggling firm.

Roughly half of Twitter’s 7,500 employees were expected to lose their jobs during the culling — with some workers claiming they had lost access to systems overnight.

“Looks like I’m unemployed y’all. Just got remotely logged out of my work laptop and removed from Slack,” tweeted Simon Balmain, a former senior community manager at Twitter. “#OneTeam forever. Loved you all so much. So sad it had to end this way.”

Disgusting: Major Christian Leaders Asked Jan. 6 Committee to Investigate Christian Nationalism

A group of prominent Christian leaders, including the heads of major denominations, say they submitted a letter earlier this year to the House select committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol, urging members to examine Christian nationalism and arguing the ideology played a crucial role in the insurrection.

Organizers of the letter, which has not previously been disclosed, told Religion News Service they were approached by a committee investigator on the topic. The resulting statement, dated June 2, was facilitated by Christians Against Christian Nationalism, an effort orchestrated by the Baptist Joint Committee for Religious Liberty.

“The ideology of Christian nationalism helped motivate and intensify the insurrection,” the letter reads in part. “We ask the Committee to thoroughly investigate the role that Christian nationalism played in the attack. This investigation into Christian nationalism is important so that history does not repeat itself and so that we understand this threat to our country’s historic commitment to religious liberty and the importance of defeating it.”

Representatives for the House committee did not immediately respond to requests to confirm the faith leaders’ account of why the letter was drafted, or to clarify whether the committee pursued their request and investigated Christian nationalism specifically.

The letter notes the Christians Against Christian Nationalism campaign began at least 18 months before the insurrection took place. That is why, signatories argued, they “recognized the presence of Christian nationalism at the Capitol on that fateful day.” The letter also referenced a report published in February by the BJC and the Freedom From Religion Foundation detailing the role Christian nationalism played in the attack. Man Charged in Capitol Riot Sentenced to 8 Months in Prison

By ABC 3 Wear-TV. A Pensacola man charged in relation to the Jan. 6 Capitol riot was sentenced to 8 months in prison Thursday.

Jesus Rivera, the first of four Northwest Florida men to be charged in the U.S. Capitol riot, was found guilty of Disorderly and Disruptive Conduct in a Restricted Building; Violent Entry and Disorderly Conduct in a Capitol Building, and Parading, Demonstrating, or Picketing in a Capitol Building; and Entering and Remaining in a Restricted Building back in June.

Crypto Founder Drowned Four Days After Tweeting the ‘CIA Was Out to Get Him’

Nikolai Mushegian was found dead in the ocean of Puerto Rico on Friday after tweeting that he was being set up by the CIA and Mossad. Mushegian was a long-time crypto developer and the co-founder of Balancer Labs a cryptocurrency investment portfolio company. . .

Mushegian was an important figure in the crypto world and a talented “Dia architect”, best known for his work with MakerDAO and proof-of-stakes blockchain network BitShares. Many people who knew the young developer say that he did important work with Maker and played a crucial role in the early days of Ethereum.

After a hack in the market that resulted in the loss of tens of millions of dollars worth of Ethereum, Nikolai was able to set up a defense in the MakerDAO system that prevented the same hack later that year.

Mushagian was quoted saying, “The DappHub team discovered the same recursive withdrawal flaw a few weeks prior to the infamous breach of DAO. The issue was fixed, preventing an impending catastrophe. Because to our clean code and logical interfaces, which reduced the attack surface we had to secure, we were able to do this. Since that time, no active contracts made for MakerDAO have caused us any problems.”

Just a few days before his death, Mushegian posted a disturbing tweet accusing the CIA and Mossad of conspiring to frame and torture him to death, which caused a stir in the community.

U.S. Forces Now on the Ground in Ukraine; Russia Deploys ‘Killjoy’ Hypersonic Ballistic Missiles to Belarus, UK Intel Says

U.S. military personnel are now on the ground in Ukraine, keeping track of and inspecting weapons the U.S. has shipped to Ukrainian forces, a senior defense official announced during a Pentagon background briefing on Monday. These U.S. personnel are some of the first the Pentagon has acknowledged have entered Ukraine since Russia launched its large scale invasion of the country in February.

The senior defense official who spoke on background during an official Pentagon event, said, “U.S. personnel have recently resumed on-site inspections to assess weapon stocks in country whenever and wherever the security conditions allow.” The official said “the return of our defense attaché and Office of Defense Cooperation personnel in country has allowed us to resume this critical function.”

The U.S. Defense attaché for Ukraine is U.S. Army Brig. Gen. Garrick Harmon.

The Biden administration ordered U.S. troops out of Ukraine in February just days before Russia launched its invasion. The Associated Press reported the administration did return some troops to provide security at the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv earlier this year. Most Troops Deployed for Ukraine Response Still in Europe

By Military Times. Roughly 20,000 U.S. troops were mobilized throughout central and eastern Europe in the early months of this year, first in anticipation of a Russian invasion of Ukraine and then in response to it.

Most of those troops are still posted in partner nations, training with local troops and otherwise assuring NATO countries that the U.S. will respond if Russia takes the fight beyond Ukraine.

“So right now, the intent is to keep troop levels at the same level as they’ve been,” a senior military official told Military Times on Monday during a background briefing. “We have no announcements to make in terms of any changes to that in the near term.”

A small number of those originally mobilized have since redeployed, according to the latest numbers.

Russia Deploys ‘Killjoy’ Hypersonic Ballistic Missiles to Belarus, UK Intel Says

By Washington Examiner. Russia has deployed some of its feared hypersonic ballistic missiles to Belarus, according to U.K. intelligence.

The AS-24 Killjoy, or “Kinzhal,” is seen by many as the pride of the Russian military, being one area in which Russia possibly surpasses the capabilities of the United States. The missile, launched from a MiG-31K fighter, is nearly impossible to intercept due to its hypersonic speed, can carry either a conventional or nuclear payload, and has a range of around 1,240 miles, according to an analysis from the Nuclear Threat Initiative.

The purpose of the alleged deployment of the advanced missiles to Belarus is debated, with the most prominent theories portraying it as a warning to the West, a way to further bring Belarus into the war in Ukraine, or as a sign that it could further increase its missile strikes into Ukraine, which has battered its infrastructure in recent weeks.

“Russia has fielded KILLJOY since 2018, but it has not previously been deployed in Belarus. Russia has occasionally launched these weapons during the Ukraine war, but stocks are likely very limited,” the U.K. Ministry of Defense claimed in an intelligence update on the war in Ukraine.
