Texas Democrat Shocks With Photo of Drying Clothes, As Lawmakers Fleeing Vote Claim To Be Martyrs

A Texas Democrat who was among more than 50 state lawmakers to fly from Austin to Washington, D.C., earlier this week to block a GOP voting bill by denying quorum was called out by critics on social media Thursday night over a post about her hand-washed clothes.

Critics suggested the post was another self-serving attempt by a Democrat to portray their absence from Texas – after taking a chartered flight to the nation’s capital – as a personal sacrifice instead of a political strategy move.

“You bet we’re recognizing & honoring our country’s heritage,” state Rep. Donna Howard posted. “As most Texans, tho [sp], this is what we’re doing tonight—using whatever is accessible, uwashing [sic] our clothes in the sink.”

Howard’s Twitter post included a photo of her wet clothes draped over a shower curtain in what looked like a modest hotel room.

State Makes Guns and Ammo Tax Free

Starting July 1, all small firearms and ammunition bought in West Virginia will no longer contain a sales tax.

“If you are going to buy that $2,000 riffle, it’s going to be $120 cheaper here in West Virginia than compared to our neighboring states,” said Delegate Gary Howell, (R) District 56.

This law was formed in House Bill 2499, which was passed during this year’s legislative session to promote business by exempting sales taxes for consumers.

With more than 5 million first-time new gun owners in just 2020, gun stores like this in West Virginia hope to continue the trend in sales.

“It’s definitely going to spike gun sales for the foreseeable future. Then after that, I think it will steadily increase in terms of your mid and high-range arms. So, I think over the long term that it will defiantly be a boost in business,” said Taylor Collins, gun and ammo salesman for Bridgeport. (Read more from “State Makes Guns and Ammo Tax Free” HERE)

Report: More Vaccine Deaths Last Week Than COVID-19 Deaths

In a span of one week, the number of deaths due to COVID-19 vaccines reported to the government’s database outnumbered the official count of deaths due to the virus.

The government’s Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System, or VAERS, contains voluntary, unverified reports of adverse events following immunization with U.S.-licensed vaccines. But it’s estimated that only between 1% and 10% of the adverse events that occur are reported to VAERS.

The Gateway Pundit noted VAERS reported 2,043 vaccine deaths in the week prior to July 7 compared to 1,505 COVID-19 deaths.

A Morning Consult poll released earlier this month, Breitbart News reported, showed 49% of Americans who are “vaccine hesitant” cite safety concerns and a lack of trust in vaccines that were developed in one year while the process normally takes 10 to 15 years.

One respondent to the survey said, “The fact that they’re offering money to take, tells me that something is wrong.” (Read more from “Report: More Vaccine Deaths Last Week Than COVID-19 Deaths” HERE)

Report: 2020 Election Audit’s Ballot Count Differs From Maricopa Tally

Ballots counted in the Arizona Senate’s audit of the 2020 election differs from the tally by Maricopa County officials.

That’s what Senate President Karen Fann said in an interview on Tuesday, in which she also noted the discrepancy prompted the state Legislature to acquire new machines — “not Dominion’s, separate ones” — to recount the ballots.

A canvass report released by the county, which includes Phoenix, said 2,089,563 ballots were cast in November’s election. Fann said she did not know the size of the discrepancy.

“They haven’t released a number yet,” Fann told conservative radio host Mike Broomhead on KTAR. “However, we do know that those numbers do not match with Maricopa County at this point.” . . .

The remaining count of ballots in Maricopa County will not be a recount of the election contests. A hand recount of votes in the presidential and U.S. Senate races, all won by Democrats, has already been completed, and officials involved in the audit have predicted a report will be released later in the summer. WATCH: Trump Rips Biden, Big Tech and Critical Race Theory at CPAC; 2024 Preview? Governor Seems To Throw Shade During Speech

By New York Post. Former President Donald Trump delivered a blistering rebuke of President Biden, Big Tech, critical race theory, the media and other targets during a fiery keynote speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference on Sunday.

From the stage in Dallas, he called Texas conservatives some of his “staunchest and fiercest supporters,” and vowed to continue fighting for the GOP.

“I’m thrilled to be back in the heart of Texas,” Trump told the crowd. “For a year before the election, the fake news media said Texas was in play. It’s in play. You know what in play means like it’s close.

“And they were right, except it was only in play for me,” he said. “For me and you, actually.”

Trump was interrupted at the start by chants of “USA” from the packed conference, which was titled “America Uncanceled 2021.”

2024 Preview? Governor Seems To Throw Shade During CPAC Speech

By Daily Caller. Republican South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem accused some Republican governors Sunday of “rewriting history” in how they reflect on their performance during the COVID-19 pandemic.

It appeared Noem was likely referring to Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis, among others. DeSantis issued a stay-at-home order for Florida on April 1 of last year, lifting it almost a month later on April 29. He removed all restrictions on businesses the following September. Noem, by contrast, was one of seven GOP governors who never issued a shutdown order for their states.

“Let’s talk about rewriting history. We’ve got Republican Governors across this country pretending they didn’t shut down their states, that they didn’t close their beaches, that they didn’t mandate masks, that they didn’t issue shelter-in-places,” Noem said while speaking at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Dallas.

Both DeSantis and Noem have received praise from conservatives for their opposition to the strict COVID-19 orders imposed in states like New York and California, as well as for opening up schools in September. (Read more from “2024 Preview? Governor Seems To Throw Shade During CPAC Speech” HERE)

FBI Twitter Request To Report ‘Extremist’ Friends, Family Doesn’t End Well

The FBI set itself up for disaster Sunday by posting a tweet encouraging Americans “to learn how to spot” signs of extremism among their friends and family members and then turn in those same friends and family members afterward.

“Family members and peers are often best positioned to witness signs of mobilization to violence. Help prevent homegrown violent extremism. Visit go.usa.gov/x6mjf to learn how to spot suspicious behaviors and report them to the #FBI. #NatSec,” the federal agency tweeted.

The tweet provoked widespread, bipartisan backlash, mockery and insults, both from conservatives angry over the bureau’s uneven application of the law, and also from the true liberals who’ve always despised the security state. . .

The anger from the right stemmed from the glaring dichotomy between the Department of Justice’s obsession with the Jan. 6th riot at the U.S. Capitol and its utter lack of interest in the deadly Black Lives Matter and Antifa riots that occurred throughout all of last year (and are still ongoing in certain sectors of the country).

12-Year-Old Boy Defending Mother Fatally Shoots Armed Home Intruder

A 12-year-old boy in Louisiana fatally shot an armed intruder who was threatening his mother inside their home, local authorities said.

The boy feared for his mother’s life when he used a hunting rifle to shoot 32-year-old Brad LeBlanc, who broke into their home located east of Clinton on June 30, according to a July 1 report from the East Feliciana Parish Sheriff’s Office.

“Witnesses stated that a perpetrator forced entry into the home at this address to perform a home invasion. The perpetrator was in possession of a firearm. At some point during this incident the perpetrator was fatally shot by a resident of the home,” the department wrote in a statement.

First responders were dispatched to the scene, and CPR was administered to LeBlanc before he was transported to a local medical facility. He was pronounced dead at the hospital by the East Feliciana Parish Coroner.

“I don’t know what you tell a kid at that age. I’ve tried to reflect myself when my kids were 12-years-old, or maybe when I was 12-years-old, what I know is a very horrific incident. He’s really a hero for taking care of his mother,” Sheriff Jeff Travis told the Washington Examiner. (Read more from “12-Year-Old Boy Defending Mother Fatally Shoots Armed Home Intruder” HERE)

Freaky: Dems Want Phone Companies to Police Text Messages for Vaccine Misinformation; This COVID Vaccine Is Linked To Rare Nerve Syndrome

By Daily Caller. The Democratic National Committee reportedly wants Short Message Service (SMS) carriers to step in and police private text messages as part of a new push against COVID-19 vaccine misinformation.

Allies of President Joe Biden, including the DNC, plan to “engage fact-checkers more aggressively” and work alongside phone companies to combat misinformation about vaccines shared via social media and private SMS messages, according to a Monday report from Politico.

White House officials are particularly frustrated with the characterization by some Republicans of their door-to-door pro-vaccination campaign, according to the report.

One example SMS message cited by Politico was sent by conservative activist group Turning Point USA, in which co-founder Charlie Kirk falsely contends that “Biden is sending goons DOOR-TO-DOOR to make you take a Covid-19 vaccine. Sign the petition to: No medical raids in America.”

“When we see deliberate efforts to spread misinformation, we view that as an impediment to the country’s public health and will not shy away from calling that out,” White House spokesman Kevin Munoz told Politico. FDA Attaches Warning of Rare Nerve Syndrome to Johnson & Johnson Vaccine

By New York Times. The Food and Drug Administration warned on Monday that Johnson & Johnson’s coronavirus vaccine can lead to an increased risk of a rare neurological condition known as Guillain–Barré syndrome, another setback for a vaccine that has largely been sidelined in the United States.

Although regulators have found that the chances of developing the condition are low, they appear to be three to five times higher among recipients of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine than among the general population in the United States, according to people familiar with the decision. The warning was attached to fact sheets about the vaccine for providers and patients.

Federal officials have identified 100 suspected cases of Guillain-Barré among recipients of Johnson & Johnson’s one-dose shot through a federal monitoring system that relies on patients and health care providers to report adverse effects of vaccines. Ninety-five percent of those cases were considered serious and required hospitalization, the Food and Drug Administration said. The reports are preliminary. Toddler Dies During Routine Dental Procedure in Kansas

A 3-year-old Kansas boy died during a trip to the dentist, when he apparently had a reaction to a medication while having some teeth pulled, authorities say.

Little Abiel Valenzuela Zapata was brought by his mom to Tiny Teeth Pediatric Dentistry in Wichita last week to have the procedure done because of an infection, his mother told local NBC-TV affiliate KSNW.

Abiel cried when he got an injection in the chair, mom Nancy Valenzuela said, but, “I told him, ‘Papi, everything’s going to be OK. . .

About 3 minutes after the boy was sedated and the dentist worked on his lower jawline, the child’s pulse began to slow and his cheek swelled up, according to a police incident report, the outlet said.

The boy underwent CPR and was rushed to the hospital but later died. (Read more from “Toddler Dies During Routine Dental Procedure in Kansas” HERE)

Bombshell: New Evidence Indicates Enough Illegal Votes in Georgia to Tip 2020 Results

By The Federalist. New evidence indicates that more than 10,300 illegal votes were cast in Georgia in the November 2020 general election — a number that will continue to rise over the next several months, potentially exceeding the 12,670 votes that separated Joe Biden and Donald Trump.

While this evidence does not change the fact that Joe Biden is our president, all Americans who genuinely care about free and fair elections and the disenfranchisement of voters should demand both transparency and solutions to prevent a repeat in future elections. This evidence also vindicates former President Trump and his legal team for the related public (and private) comments and legal arguments made in challenging the Georgia election results. . .

In Georgia, there was both an audit and a statewide recount confirming Biden’s victory, but ignored in the process was evidence that nearly 35,000 Georgians had potentially voted illegally.

When Davis ran the data, he found that, of the approximately 35,000 Georgians who indicated they had moved from one county to another county more than 30 days before the November general election, as of May, more than 10,300 had updated their voter registration information, providing the secretary of state the exact address they had previously provided to the USPS. Those same 10,000-plus individuals all also cast ballots in the county in which they had previously lived.

“That number continues to increase every day as more and more people update their registrations,” Davis said. “I have little doubt that the total number will eventually meet and then exceed President Biden’s margin of victory in Georgia.” Davis, who has testified as an expert witness multiple times in disputed election cases, believes Trump might have won a challenge to the Georgia election results had a court actually heard his case. Trump Ally in Pennsylvania Pushes For Arizona-Style Audit Of 2020 Election

By Reuters. A Pennsylvania Republican lawmaker and ally of former President Donald Trump said on Wednesday he would try to launch a probe of the 2020 election in the battleground state[.] . .

In a move that parallels a contentious audit going on in Arizona, state Senator Doug Mastriano said he sent letters to “several counties” seeking information needed for a “forensic investigation” of the November presidential election and of municipal primaries this past May. . .

Mastriano, who has repeated Trump’s … claims of widespread fraud in November, said in a statement that the probe was necessary because millions of Pennsylvania residents doubted the veracity of the 2020 results.
