Nancy Mace Turned ‘Minor Miscommunication’ Into Profanity-Laced ‘Spectacle’ at SC Airport: Police Report

Rep. Nancy Mace let a “minor miscommunication” blow up into a profane “spectacle” when she repeatedly cussed at cops for being late to escort her through a South Carolina airport, an internal investigation has found.

Mace (R-SC), 47, had expected Charleston Airport Police to walk with her to her gate promptly after being dropped off on the morning of Oct. 30 — but flew into a rage when a supervisor who misidentified her car delayed the congresswoman’s meetup with law enforcement, according to the 10-page report.

The South Carolina gubernatorial hopeful arrived at an unexpected location in a “grey/silver BMW” rather than a “white” one, as the supervisor — who the report said “read the email quickly and pass[ed] on incorrect information unintentionally” — had stated.

Use of the encrypted app Signal — which “[n]o other protectee” uses for communicating with officers — and complications due to the “high personnel turnover” rate in Mace’s office also “exacerbated” the situation, added the Nov. 12 report by Charleston Airport Police Chief James A. Woods.

“While it is clear that we hold a certain level of responsibility in miscommunicating the color of Congresswoman Mace’s vehicle, it’s also equally clear that her continued failure to follow established procedures at the checkpoint is what turned a minor miscommunication over the color of a vehicle into the spectacle that this issue has become for our employees and airport workers,” it concluded. CDC Issues Travel Alerts as Untreatable Tropical Virus Spreads Across Several Countries

U.S. health officials are urging Americans traveling abroad to be on high alert as multiple countries report growing outbreaks of chikungunya, an untreatable mosquito-borne virus that has surged across parts of Asia, the Caribbean, and southern China.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announced new Level 2 travel advisories for Cuba, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Guangdong Province in China. The alerts encourage travelers to take enhanced precautions, especially because there is currently no antiviral treatment for chikungunya.

Although no treatment exists for the disease itself, officials note that chikungunya is preventable through vaccination, which is strongly recommended for anyone visiting outbreak-affected regions.

Chikungunya typically begins with fever and intense joint pain, and some patients also experience headaches, rashes, muscle aches, or swelling. Symptoms usually begin three to seven days after a mosquito bite, and most people recover within a week. However, severe cases can lead to months or years of debilitating joint pain. In the most serious situations, the virus can cause organ damage or even be fatal, according to the World Health Organization (WHO).

WHO data from October 3 shows that worldwide, between January and September 2025, there were 445,000 suspected and confirmed chikungunya cases and 155 deaths.

Several countries are reporting significant spikes:

Bangladesh: Roughly 700 suspected cases were identified in Dhaka during the first nine months of 2025.

Guangdong Province, China: Officials have logged 16,000 locally transmitted cases, marking the largest outbreak ever recorded in China.

Cuba: From January through late September, 34 confirmed cases prompted public health measures to contain spread.

Sri Lanka: Between January 1 and mid-March 2025, 150 confirmed cases were recorded, with infections peaking in June.

With no treatment available and outbreaks growing, U.S. health agencies stress the importance of preventing mosquito exposure. Travelers are being encouraged to:

Use insect repellent consistently

Wear long sleeves and pants

Stay in screened or air-conditioned buildings

Consider receiving the chikungunya vaccine before travel

As outbreaks continue to evolve, officials say updated information will be provided to help travelers assess their risks before heading abroad.

Experts Warn Your Preferred Sleep Position Could Be Harming Your Health in Multiple Ways

The way we lie down in bed could pose health risks beyond just a sore back, according to experts. Your go-to posture can cause pain, reflux, snoring and even nerve symptoms that show up the next morning.

“What we care about is if someone is comfortable in their sleep position. Oftentimes we sleep in certain ways because of comfort,” Shelby Harris, clinical psychologist and behavioral sleep specialist, told Fox News Digital.

The way we sleep can often leave us uncomfortable, however. When sleeping in awkward positions, our bodies lie motionless in that position overnight, adding stress not only to our nerves, but to our muscles and ligaments as well.

Nerve damage is a concern when people sleep in positions that involve bending or tucking the arms — dubbed the “T. rex position” on social media. Health experts point out that when arms go numb at night, that’s often related to nerve compression.

A 2023 review of cubital tunnel syndrome, in which people experience symptoms of numbness and shooting pain in their forearms, specifically warns that sleeping with the elbow sharply bent or tucked under a pillow can increase pressure on the nerve and worsen symptoms. Jury Decides Stabbing White People Is Okay If They Use A Racial Slur

A Portland jury acquitted a man who admitted to stabbing a stranger after video captured the victim using a racial slur in the aftermath of the attack.

Multnomah County prosecutors charged Gary Edwards, 43, with second-degree assault for the July 7 knife attack on Gregory Howard Jr. near the Union Station MAX stop, according to Oregon Live. Edwards faced five years and 10 months in state prison under Oregon’s Measure 11 sentencing law.

Edwards testified he acted in self-defense after Howard yelled the slur at him. Howard denied using the word before the stabbing.

Transit cameras showed Edwards approaching Howard from behind with a fixed-blade knife as Howard sat on a bench. Howard jumped up and pushed Edwards when he saw him. The two scuffled briefly before Edwards stabbed Howard in the shoulder.

Defense attorney Daniel Small told jurors the key evidence came later, when security officers recorded Howard shouting the racial slur on body cameras.

“What other than racism could explain why Mr. Howard perceived hatred, animosity and aggression from a complete stranger,” Small asked the jury. (Read more from “Jury Decides Stabbing White People Is Okay If They Use A Racial Slur” HERE)

Toddler Among Victims as Pepper-Spray-Wielding Thieves Injure 21 at Major Airport

Police arrested a 31-year-old man Sunday at a London airport following a robbery in which 21 people — including a 3-year-old child — were pepper-sprayed and required medical treatment, officials said.

The morning incident happened at Heathrow Airport’s parking garage when a group of four men stole a woman’s suitcase in an elevator and sprayed an irritant at her, the Metropolitan Police said.

“A woman was robbed of her suitcase by a group of four men, who sprayed a substance believed to be pepper spray in her direction,” Commander Peter Stevens said in a statement, adding that passengers in the elevator and surrounding area were also affected.

Police said the suspects then fled the elevator following the incident. They appeared to be three young men dressed in all black with their heads covered, The Associated Press (AP) reported, citing a witness.

Video captured a swarm of officers rushing to the scene of the assault, visibly carrying large firearms as they navigated the multi-story parking garage. (Read more from “Toddler Among Victims as Pepper-Spray-Wielding Thieves Injure 21 at Major Airport” HERE)

Dad Warns Parents About Troubling Find Inside Popular Water Bottle Brand

. . .Something most people probably don’t do enough of is clean their reusable water bottles. While scrubbing them with hot water and soap is beneficial, there could still be sneaky mold hiding in places the naked eye wouldn’t catch.

Although some water bottles aren’t designed to be taken apart to clean, one worried dad is warning parents to diligently examine the bottles their kids regularly drink out of after he discovered a gross amount of mold in some of his Yeti bottles.

In a TikTok video, Jason Sullivon explained how he rotates the bottles his daughter uses each day, but noticed that they weren’t getting as clean as they should be. “I contacted Yeti to ask how to clean them properly, since they are not designed to be taken apart,” he explained in his video.

Sullivan said that Yeti advised boiling the bottles in hot water for 5-10 minutes. “After doing that, this is what they looked like when they came out,” he said while showing the camera visible mold underneath the rubber seal where the straw inserts.

“If you’re using these types of bottles, especially for children, make sure to check them regularly. There could be hidden buildup or contamination you might not notice,” he warned. (Read more from “Dad Warns Parents About Troubling Find Inside Popular Water Bottle Brand” HERE)

Family Portrays January 6 Pipe Bomb Suspect as Socially Isolated, Developmentally Delayed, Not Trump Supporter

The family of Brian Cole, the Virginia man charged with placing pipe bombs near Capitol Hill on January 5, 2021, says he is not the politically driven extremist federal investigators claim him to be. Instead, they describe a shy, developmentally delayed “computer kid” who avoids politics entirely and has spent most of his adult life in a basement bedroom grieving a lost pet.

Cole, 30, was arrested Thursday after FBI tactical teams surrounded his family’s Woodbridge home, ending a years-long national search for the still-unidentified pipe bomb suspect. Prosecutors allege he built improvised explosive devices and left them outside both the Democratic National Committee and Republican National Committee headquarters the night before the Capitol riot. The bombs never detonated.

Federal sources claim Cole told interrogators he supported former President Donald Trump and leaned toward anarchist ideas. His grandmother, Loretta, says that portrayal is completely false.

“He doesn’t like either political party,” she said. “He doesn’t vote. He doesn’t argue about politics. He’s just not involved in any of that.”

According to his grandmother, Cole is “borderline autistic” and functions emotionally and socially far below his age. She says he has always needed structure, avoids social interaction, and prefers spending time with computers or, until recently, his chihuahua that died earlier this year.

“He’s thirty, but mentally he’s still a teenager,” she said. “He keeps to himself. He doesn’t have friends. He’s never had a girlfriend. He just stays downstairs and works on his computer.”

Cole worked a simple data-entry role at the family’s bail bonds office. His grandmother said he handled basic phone duties and clerical tasks because the family wanted him to have routine and responsibility.

“Anything complicated would overwhelm him,” she added. “He’s quiet and polite. That’s why this is such a shock.”

Loretta said she had no warning that federal agents were about to accuse her grandson of collecting bomb components, assembling devices inside the home, and attempting an attack on political headquarters.

“We’re terrified,” she said. “The FBI says they have evidence, but we don’t believe he would plan anything like this.”

She says Cole appeared at work as normal the day before the arrest, showing no signs of distress, agitation, or unusual behavior.

When Cole appeared for arraignment, the family was told that he was upset primarily because he believed he had disappointed them.

“That’s what broke my heart,” she said. “He’s worried he let us down.”

Two armored vehicles loaded with FBI SWAT agents arrived at the home Thursday morning, startling neighbors in the quiet Northern Virginia suburb. Agents also executed a search warrant at the family’s office.

Federal officials say the arrest stemmed from evidence they already possessed from 2021 and 2022, not from a new tip. The FBI recently released previously unseen video footage of the pipe bomb suspect walking near Capitol Hill on the night the devices were planted.

The bureau had offered a $500,000 reward for information, prompting renewed public attention to the case before Cole’s arrest.

Despite the charges, Cole’s grandmother insists the allegations don’t fit the young man she raised.

“If you met him, you’d never think he could do something like this,” she said. “And if he did, it wasn’t because he understood the consequences. He doesn’t think like that.”

The family says they are now focused on finding legal help and preparing for what they expect to be a long fight.

“We love him,” she said. “We’re going to stand by him. He’s not a monster. He’s not political. He’s just a lost kid who never really grew up.”

CNN Just Cracked Open Pandora’s Box That’s Worse Than Any Fake News Hoax

CNN has opened up a Pandora’s box that’s worse than any fake news hoax the outlet could ever possibly peddle.

On Tuesday, the network announced an “official partnership” with the online platform Kalshi, which allows users to wager on anything from a sports game to whether J.D. Vance will be the GOP nominee in 2028, to how much money Darth Vader’s lightsaber will fetch at auction. Kalshi is a “prediction market,” and users are trading “contracts” on future events. So, somehow, it is legally distinct from gambling.

“As part of the partnership, CNN will get access to Kalshi’s data through an API, or backend interface, that automatically updates in real time,” Axios reported. “That data will be featured on CNN’s air through a real-time data ticker and can be referenced across CNN’s platforms when journalists discuss news predictions.”

Of course, neither CNN nor Kalshi has addressed the ethics elephant in the newsroom, as of publication. CNN anchors, reporters, and commentators do not determine events throughout the country and world. But they certainly influence them, enough to move markets. For example, if CNN published a story that Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang had a terminal illness, but that story later turned out to be false, Nvidia’s stock would have likely plummeted regardless, and billions of dollars could have been wiped out in a matter of minutes.

How will this power affect their coverage now that they are partnered with a betting platform? CNN will likely get a cut of the Kalshi gambling revenue, so how will that affect which events they choose to cover? Will the popularity of bets on Kalshi’s platform drive their coverage? Are they going to do segments on Darth Vader’s lightsaber because it drives the most wagering? Will all these CNN employees, from the executives to the bookers, be barred from betting on people or events they cover in the news? Where are the guardrails? What if anonymous sources, whether in government or working for a sports franchise, leak them stories to drive betting markets in a certain direction? ‘Treated As A Slave’: Horrifying Details Emerge About Massive Rape Scandal

Men, mostly of Muslim Pakistani origin, have been systematically grooming and raping British girls for decades.

Now, Open Justice UK claims to have acquired the first portion of the “redacted grooming gang sentencing remarks … dating back to 2016.” The organization published the remarks for all to see Dec. 2. Open Justice UK published a second portion of sentencing remarks Thursday. The organization is dedicated to “pushing for public access to court records,” a process they’ve documented on social media.

Let’s begin in the town of Rotherham, where brothers Arshid, Basharat, and Bannaras Hussain were sentenced for their crimes in 2016. The brothers were aided by their uncle, Qurban Ali, and co-conspirators Karen MacGregor and Shelley Davies.

Arshid and Basharat Hussain were found guilty of “multiple rapes and indecent assaults,” according to the BBC. Bannaras Hussain pled guilty to 10 charges, including rape and indecent assault. Ali was found guilty of conspiracy to rape. MacGregor and Davies “were convicted of conspiracy to procure prostitutes and false imprisonment.” The gang’s total offenses totaled 55, according to The Guardian.

The Hussain brothers began their campaign of sexual exploitation in 1987, reportedly stopping around 2003. (Read more from “‘Treated As A Slave’: Horrifying Details Emerge About Massive Rape Scandal” HERE)

Pelosi and Greene Retirements Thrust $38M-a-Year Pension Perk for Congress Into Spotlight

The vast majority of the record number of congressional lawmakers not seeking re-election next year, including Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) and Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), will collect annual pension benefits that cost taxpayers some $38 million per year to payout.

The timing of Greene’s abrupt retirement, as well of the six-figure sum Pelosi will receive after serving nearly 40 years in Congress, have brought attention to the little-known perk for ex-pols and renewed calls to end the program.

“I can’t read her mind, but it certainly seems as if it was timed to make sure she got vested,” Demian Brady, the vice president of research for the National Taxpayer Union Foundation, said of the Georgia Republican’s last day in the House.

Under federal law, members of Congress qualify for annual pension benefits only after completing five full years of service.

Brady was one of the first to point out that Greene, who began serving on Jan. 3, 2021, and will leave office on Jan. 5, 2026, picked a departure date that gives her just enough time to meet the eligibility threshold.
