UNREAL: US Supreme Court Rules That Gun Manufacturers Are Potentially Liable for Sandy Hook Massacre

(Editor’s note: if you want to know how bad this decision really is, see Joe Miller’s and colleagues’ amicus brief on the Remington case HERE)

The Supreme Court refused Tuesday to shield a major arms manufacturer from potential liability in the 2012 school shooting that left 26 students and educators dead in Newtown, Conn.

The justices’ action allows a lawsuit filed by parents of Sandy Hook Elementary School victims to move forward at the state level, on the allegation that Remington Arms Co. marketed the military-style rifle used in the mass shooting “for use in assaults against human beings.”

The case tests the reach of a 2005 law passed by Congress to protect firearms manufacturers from being held liable for crimes committed by gun purchasers. That law was hailed by the National Rifle Association, but it included exceptions, including one for violating rules related to marketing and advertising.

Gun control advocates have said a victory by the families in the long-running dispute could lead to more lawsuits and damaging disclosures involving the firearms industry. (Read more about gun manufacturers being potentially liable for murders HERE)

Dem Leader Tells GOP to ‘GET LOST’ Over Impeachment Inquiry Witness List; Any GOP Senator Who Votes to Impeach Trump ‘Is Signing His Own Political Death Warrant’

By Fox News. House Democratic Caucus Chairman Rep. Hakeem Jeffries blasted Republicans and labeled them as a “#CoverUpCaucus” after they submitted a list of witnesses they would like to call for public testimony as part of the ongoing impeachment inquiry of President Trump.

Jeffries, D-N.Y., also questioned the validity of the witnesses in a brief but fiery tweet Sunday morning directed at his counterparts across the aisle.

“House Republican #CoverUpCaucus wants sham witnesses to testify,” Jeffries said. “My two cents? GET LOST.”

NBC, ABC And CBS Appear To Have Run Cover For World’s Most Powerful Rape Rings

By Daily Caller. NBC, ABC and CBS News have all now appeared to run cover for some of the world’s most powerful rape rings, allegedly killing stories and firing employees who tried to expose the outlets.

As three of America’s biggest networks, these outlets have each become embroiled in controversy in 2019 following multiple separate reports that they have played a part in covering up some of the world’s most powerful rape and pedophile rings. . .

First, investigative reporter Ronan Farrow came out with a book on Oct. 15 titled “Catch and Kill: Lies, Spies and a Conspiracy to Protect Predators.” The book accused NBC News of covering up Farrow’s story about the sexual assault allegations surrounding now-disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein. It is based on Farrow’s article published in The New Yorker in 2017. He was allowed to publish his story in The New Yorker while still working at NBC News, the outlet said in a previous statement. . .

Just a few months later, ABC News was accused of killing a story about the late alleged child sex-trafficker Jeffrey Epstein after Project Veritas released a video of anchor Amy Robach complaining about the network. Robach was caught on camera saying ABC killed her interview with Epstein accuser Virginia Roberts Giuffre, according to the video. . .

CBS News is the latest to appear to have run cover for a huge rape ring when it allegedly fired a former ABC employee Wednesday who had access to Robach’s tape. The outlet declined to comment to Page Six, it reported Thursday.

Source: ABC News Failed to Contact Epstein Accuser About Alleged Uncorroborated ‘Key Facts’ in Story

By Washington Examiner. An ABC News executive claimed that the network decided not to air an interview with a woman who accused convicted child predator Jeffrey Epstein of raping her because there were major holes in her story.

The thwarted interview became public last week when Project Veritas released video of ABC News reporter Amy Robach complaining about her interview with Virginia Roberts Giuffre being spiked on a hot mic in August of this year. She can be heard venting frustration that her story was never given the green light following Epstein’s arrest and subsequent death.

Giuffre accused Epstein of sexual assault, trafficking, and several other felony offenses that took place in the early 2000s. He was awaiting trial in Manhattan when he was found dead in his jail cell at age 66. The New York medical examiner ruled Epstein’s death a suicide, though several people, including his brother and Robach herself, have speculated that he was murdered. Giuffre has alleged that she was Epstein’s sex slave, and claimed that he forced her to have sex with “the elite of the world,” she said in an interview with 60 Minutes. She also alleged she had been raped by Prince Andrew three times, which the royal has vehemently denied.

The network executive told the Washington Examiner on Saturday that Robach’s report on Epstein, which the reporter claimed “had it all,” was not broadcast because “Robach and the investigative team was unable to verify key facts” of Giuffre’s story. While the employee would not elaborate on the apparent holes in the story, a different person familiar with the interview between Robach and Giuffre said that the network never reached out to help them corroborate the parts of her story that they could not verify on their own.

The source also explained that neither Giuffre or her attorney Stan Pottinger, who called Robach’s hot mic moment “spot on,” have ever been contacted in order to corroborate her claims, despite ABC News’s original statement on the video saying that they “have never stopped investigating the story.” (Read more from “Source: ABC News Failed to Contact Epstein Accuser About Alleged Uncorroborated ‘Key Facts’ in Story” HERE)

Trump Jr.: Everyone Should Share the Same Bathroom (VIDEO)

Donald Trump Jr. said “no one cares” which bathrooms transgender people use and that he would be okay if everyone just used the same bathroom.

“I’m a builder. I would love to build one universal bathroom,” the president’s son said in a Monday interview on Dave Rubin’s Rubin Report. “We’re real estate people. If I don’t have to build dual bathrooms I could actually save a lot of money. I wish everyone would share a bathroom. I think it’d be wonderful.”

The comment came during a discussion over transgender issues on the show. Trump Jr. said he was “live and let live” in regards to gay and transgender people, but that he was concerned that the movement had become about more than equality. He singled out men who had transitioned into women competing in women’s sports as a problematic way the gay and transgender lobby was no longer about equality.

These Fast Food Employees Probably Really Regret Denying Service to Veteran Police Officer

Two employees of a North Carolina fast food restaurant are likely regretting the decision to refuse service to a veteran police officer, because they’re both out of a job. . .

Roxboro Police Chief David Hess said that veteran police officer Kenneth Horton was allegedly denied service by a cashier at the restaurant. Horton is also a U.S. Army veteran.

The story began spreading in the community and eventually got to the management of the fast food chain.

The cashier and the manager of the store were fired from their jobs as a result.

Hess made it clear that the police had nothing to do with the firing of the employees. (Read more from “These Fast Food Employees Probably Really Regret Denying Service to Veteran Police Officer” HERE)

WATCH: Female MMA Fighter Takes Down Anti-Trump ‘Professor’ Who Started Fight Over American Flag

MMA fighter Tara LaRosa said she used her jiujitsu skills to take down a woman who allegedly started a fight during a Portland, Oregon, flag wave honoring veterans Sunday.

LaRosa livestreamed the flag wave on an overpass above Interstate 84 when the physical altercation started between the woman and a female from LaRosa’s group, the members of which were wearing “Make America Great Again” hats — the iconic symbol of President Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign — and insignias for the controversial Proud Boys. . .

[WARNING: video contains explicit language.]

LaRosa told police that her group was on the overpass, facing passing cars and waving flags, when the woman approached them from behind and noticed their insignias and repeatedly said “f*** Proud Boys.” The woman then attacked a female from the flag-waving group, LaRosa said, and that’s when the MMA fighter stepped in.

LaRosa added to cops that the woman punched her eight to 10 times and bit her breast through her clothing:

Air Force IDs Missing Airman Who Fell Into Gulf of Mexico From C-130 Aircraft

The U.S. Air Force on Sunday identified the airman presumed dead after he fell into the Gulf of Mexico from a C-130 aircraft last week, as recovery efforts continued.

U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Cole Condiff, 29, a special tactics combat controller with 24th Special Operations Wing, part of the Air Force Special Operations Command, fell 1,500 feet out of the plane Tuesday morning during a parachute-jump training exercise out of Hurlburt Field, Fla., investigators said.

Crew members aboard the C-130 said they initially saw Condiff, whose parachute did deploy, treading water but lost sight of him while making a turn to pick him up. The Coast Guard spent over 130 hours on the scene and searched over 4,900 square nautical miles, but were unable to find the airman. . .

Condiff enlisted in the Air Force in 2012, as Fox 13 reported, and his awards and decorations included an Air Force Achievement Medal and an Air Force Commendation Medal with a combat device.

The Air Force said Condiff was a static-line jumpmaster, military free-fall jumper, combat scuba diver, air traffic controller and a joint terminal attack controller. (Read more from “Air Force IDs Missing Airman Who Fell Into Gulf of Mexico From C-130 Aircraft” HERE)

Whistleblower’s Attorney Boasted of Getting Security Clearance for ‘Guys Who Had Child Porn Issues’; Impeachment Witness Undercut Steele Dossier in Bombshell Testimony

By The Blaze. Mark Zaid — a lawyer representing the whistleblower whose complaint catapulted House Democrats’ impeachment probe against President Donald Trump — is under fire for boasting on Twitter last year that he successfully helped “guys who had child porn issues” gain security clearances from the U.S. government.

In reaction to a Slate article questioning how an alleged domestic abuser was granted clearance, Zaid bragged, “I’ve gotten clearances for guys who had child porn issues.” . . .

The Daily Caller reached out to Zaid regarding the comment ,and the attorney elaborated: “I have represented numerous individuals who have all sorts of issues involving their security clearances, including allegations of child porn, which turn out to be rarely true,” he explained. “Every time I prevail in a case, the USGOVTP determines it is in the national security interests of our country to grant these individuals access to classified information.”

This is the second time in a week Zaid has faced scrutiny for resurfaced Twitter comments, as they trickle in amid the lawyer’s high-profile representation of the anonymous whistleblower at the heart of the House Democrats’ impeachment of the president.

Earlier in the week, Fox News published a series of tweets from Zaid made soon after the president took office, where the lawyer called for a “coup” and “rebellion” against the commander in chief. Impeachment Witness Undercut Steele Dossier in Bombshell Testimony

By Daily Caller. A former White House official who Democrats consider a key witness in their impeachment inquiry told lawmakers in October that she believed Russians likely planted disinformation about President Donald Trump with dossier author Christopher Steele.

Fiona Hill, who served as the White House’s top adviser on Russia affairs until July, told lawmakers she was “shocked” to find out that Steele, a former MI6 officer, was the author of the dossier. That’s in large part because when she had met with Steele in the years leading up to his dossier work, he was “constantly try to drum up business.”

Hill, who was deposed in the impeachment inquiry on Oct. 14, said Steele’s eagerness to obtain work made him vulnerable to Russian disinformation.

“Because if you also think about it, the Russians would have an ax to grind against him given the job that he had previously. And if he started going back through his old contacts and asking about, that would be a perfect opportunity for people to feed some kind of misinformation,” said Hill, who was a scholar at the Brookings Institution until she joined the Trump administration.

Hill said she was not aware of the dossier until a colleague showed it to her day before BuzzFeed published it on Jan. 10, 2017. (Read more from “Impeachment Witness Undercut Steele Dossier in Bombshell Testimony” HERE)

TRIGGER WARNING: Presidential Net Worth Comparison — Before and After Leaving Office

Joe Miller offers a critique:

Respectfully, it’s likely to be the opposite. The way it’s headed, expect Trump to be bankrupt and/or in jail just a short time after leaving office. That is, unless there’s a clandestine effort to take the Oligarchs down. Let’s hope it’s the latter, or this country is toast.

To which I responded:

I agree completely. This is just meant to trigger the kooks.
