Christian Views Kept Star Player off U.S. Women’s Soccer Team, According to Complaints

By Fox News. As the U.S. Women’s World Cup champions continue to celebrate their recent triumph, some observers are wondering whether a top-tier American player was left off the team because of her religious views.

Jaelene Hinkle, 26, a native of Colorado who played college soccer at Texas Tech, is a defender for the North Carolina Courage of the National Women’s Soccer League. . .

But in 2015, Hinkle had objected publicly to the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling that legalized same-sex marriage.

Jesus didn't come to save those who already believed in Him. He came so that the lost, rejected, and abandoned men and women would find Him and believe. I believe with every fiber in my body that what was written 2,000 years ago in the Bible is undoubtedly true. It's not a fictional book. It's not a pick and choose what you want to believe. You either believe it, or you don't. This world may change, but Christ and His Word NEVER will. My heart is that as Christians we don't begin to throw a tantrum over what has been brought into law today, but we become that much more loving. That through our love, the lost, rejected, and abandoned find Christ. The rainbow was a convent made between God and all his creation that never again would the world be flooded as it was when He destroyed the world during Noah's time. It's a constant reminder that no matter how corrupt this world becomes, He will never leave us or forsake us. Thank you Lord for your amazing grace, even during times of trial and confusion. Love won over 2,000 years ago when the greatest sacrifice of all time was made for ALL mankind. ❤️💜💛💚💙

Then, in 2017 Hinkle drew criticism when she declined to play in two matches for the U.S. women’s national team, reportedly because she didn’t want to wear special team jerseys recognizing Gay Pride Month. . .

Later, Hinkle was dropped from the U.S. national team for reasons solely related to soccer, team officials claimed, according to the newspaper. But the report noted that Hinkle’s public persona contrasts sharply with that of Team USA captain Megan Rapinoe, who also plays in the NWSL. U.S. Women’s Team Snub of Christian Player Roils Soccer

By The Washington Times. The celebration continued Wednesday for the U.S. women’s soccer team after its historic Women’s World Cup title, even as questions resurfaced about why one of the best players in the nation wasn’t there. . .

Conservative pundit Erick Erickson said Monday that she was “shoved aside” in a sport known for “feminist virtue signaling,” while The Irish Times ran the June 12 headline “Religious clash leaves USA’s best left back an observer of World Cup bid.”

“You do have a very activist team. It’s very much a part of the program,” said John Stonestreet, president of the Colson Center for Christian Worldview in Colorado Springs, Colorado. “And if we were talking about just any player, it wouldn’t be really clear, but just because of her abilities — Jaelene Hinkle is a heck of a player — it makes it that much more suspect.”

He said the episode offered a warning to Christians seeking to live out their faith while pursuing their professional dreams: Chances are that they, too, will face a choice. It could be whether to wear the jersey. It could be whether to bake the cake.

“We know that increasingly there is going to have to be conformity on your viewpoint to be able to participate,” Stonestreet said. “I think that’s inevitable. We use the phrase ‘the theology of being fired’ — in this case, it’s the theology of being cut.” (Read more from “U.S. Women’s Team Snub of Christian Player Roils Soccer” HERE)

VANITY FAIR: Trump Knew Epstein Had Recorded Incriminating Sex Pics With Clinton; Records Reveal Bill’s Statement About Controversy Is a COMPLETE LIE

(Editor’s note: For years, Restoring Liberty has been publishing stories regarding Jeffrey Epstein’s corrupt Florida plea deal, his connections to numerous global leaders, and his apparent library of images of politicians committing heinous acts. For more information, please visit this link. Restoring Liberty congratulates Donald Trump’s Department of Justice for finally attempting to bring accountability to these sickos)

By MICHAEL VAN DER GALIEN. Back in 2015, onstage at the annual CPAC conference, Trump said something very interesting about Bill Clinton. “Nice guy,” he said. “Got a lot of problems coming up, in my opinion, with the famous island with Jeffrey Epstein. Lot of problems.”

Trump knew what he was talking about. Vanity Fair reports that, shortly before CPAC, Trump was approached by David Pecker, who then owned the National Enquirer. Pecker visited Trump and brought along “an issue with a Prince Andrew and Epstein-related cover.” They were joined by Trump lawyer Michael Cohen.

After the meeting, Trump called in Sam Nunberg, who then worked for him. Nunberg told Vanity Fair:

“Michael was sitting in there when I came in, and the issue of the National Enquirer with the pictures of Prince Andrew was on his desk. He said not to tell anyone, but that Pecker had just been there and had brought the issue with him. Trump said that Pecker had told him that the pictures of Clinton that Epstein had from his island were worse.”

What makes Vanity Fair’s report double fascinating is that the leftist magazine clearly implies that Epstein doesn’t have any dirt on Trump himself. (Read more about Epstein recording incriminating sex pics HERE)

Records Show Clinton Dined with Epstein in 1995, Predating Public Timeline

By Fox News. Former President Bill Clinton dined with financier and sex offender Jeffrey Epstein in 1995, records show—years before the interactions detailed in a statement from his office earlier this week.

That statement condemned the wealthy hedge fund manager after his indictment for alleged sex trafficking crimes was unsealed Monday. The statement said Clinton “knows nothing” about Epstein’s alleged crimes and included a timeline of Clinton’s interactions with him starting in 2002.

But according to a story published back in March 1995 by the Palm Beach Post, then-President Clinton attended a “three-hour dinner” at the time with a “very select group of people” at the Palm Beach home of business magnate Ron Perelman. The diverse group included Epstein — as well as singer Jimmy Buffet, actor Don Johnson, then-co-chairman of the Democratic National Committee Don Fowler and others.

“Joining Clinton for a three-hour dinner was a very select group of people, some of whom, according to one Democratic Party source, gave as much as $100,000 to the Democratic National Committee for the privilege of dining with the president,” the report said.

The nearly 25-year-old report, reviewed by Fox News, indicates that Clinton and Epstein interacted years before the instances detailed in the former president’s statement this week. (Read more from “Records Show Clinton Dined with Epstein in 1995, Predating Public Timeline” HERE)

Protecting Dems: CNN Releases Pathetic Rules for Next Debate

By Breitbart. CNN released the outline for the second round of Democrat primary debates Tuesday evening, but some of the rules have critics wondering if the network is rushing to protect Democrats.

The debates – scheduled for 8:00 p.m. ET July 30 and 31 in Detroit – have different rules than the first, with CNN banning shows of hands, one-word responses, and down-the-line questions. Candidates will get 60 seconds to respond to moderator questions and 30 seconds for rebuttals. Additionally, candidates who “consistently” interrupt will have their time reduced. . .

Some believe these rules – particularly banning show of hands responses – are an effort to protect certain candidates or hide some of the candidates’ more extreme positions.

Here’s How Many Assault-Style Weapons Have Been Returned in New Zealand for Their Gun Buyback

By The Daily Caller. New Zealand has seen only a fraction of weapons surrendered after its government passed restrictive gun control measures, including a buyback program, following March’s mosque shootings.

About 1,000 guns estimated to qualify as prohibited have reportedly been turned over to New Zealand authorities as part of the country’s gun buyback program as of July 4, according to Radio New Zealand. . .

The gun rules that include a ban on assault-style guns and similar weapons were passed by New Zealand’s parliament in April in the wake of the March 15 mosque shootings in Christchurch that killed 51 people. . . .

The regulations face opposition, including a planned legal challenge from the Council of Licensed Firearms Owners, New Zealand’s leading gun lobby. The group plans to “take legal action, likely to be by way of a class action,” promised Secretary Nicole McKee, according to WaPo.

Three hundred gun collection events are planned for the next three months in various locations, including large sport stadiums. Authorities said they have informed registered firearm owners of the obligations, and have received 8,000 notifications of surrender through an online registration process, according to Radio New Zealand. Less Than 1% Participate in New Zealand Gun Buyback

By American Military News. Just one percent of New Zealand’s guns have been turned in after the nation’s ban on semi-automatic rifles and high-capacity magazines. . .

Official data has not yet been released and is complex to even obtain due to the fact that many of the banned weapons are not on the national registry.

The New Zealand government has sent notices to owners of all registered firearms informing them of their obligation to turn in their firearm. An amnesty period lasts until December 20, and after that, gun owners will face consequences for being in possession of banned firearms. Mike Rowe Chimes in on Nike’s Betsy Ross Play. His Take Is Spot On.

Former “Dirty Jobs” host is one of the most insightful conservatives out there. He has a keen understanding of American history, rugged individualism and limited government. He has the ability to call out people’s stupidity in the nicest, most sincere of ways.

Rowe took to Facebook to answer one of his followers’ questions: why on earth would Nike listen to washed up quarterback Colin Kaepernick? . . .

“I think Nike has the right to decorate their shoes with whatever flag they desire. I think Kaepernick has the right to offer marketing advice to any company that’ll take it. And I think you and I have the right to purchase whatever brand of tennis shoes we choose,” Rowe explained in a long Facebook post.

While every individual person and corporation has the right to make decisions, we don’t have to agree with them. And, as a consumer, we can choose to spend our money with businesses that support our conservative principles.

“In other words, I’m tempted on this day to remind you that there’s nothing inherently dangerous about a sneaker company currying favor with a woke athlete, or fellow citizens complaining about displays of patriotism and military might. On the other hand, I think Ronald Reagan was right when he said we’re always one generation away from losing the freedoms we currently enjoy,” Rowe said. “Along with the siren song of socialism, the persistent promise of ‘free’ stuff, and the breathtaking level of censorship on our college campuses, I worry about the growing belief among many that we can somehow improve our present by erasing our past; by toppling statues, outlawing ‘problematic’ symbols, or rewriting specific pieces of our history in ways that leave us feeling less offended.” (Read more from “Mike Rowe Chimes in on Nike’s Betsy Ross Play. AOC Is Facing a Huge Lawsuit – Here’s the Hilarious Reason Why

Former Democratic New York Assemblyman Dov Hikind filed a lawsuit against Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y. in federal court on Tuesday for blocking users on Twitter based on their personal viewpoints, following a federal appeals court ruling earlier in the day barring President Trump from doing the same.

“Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has blocked me on Twitter yesterday apparently because my critique of her tweets and policies have been too stinging,” Hikind said in a statement announcing the suit, which was filed in the Eastern District of New York and obtained by Fox News.

“Just today the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals affirmed a ruling that elected officials cannot block individuals from their Twitter accounts, thereby setting a precedent that Ocasio-Cortez must follow,” he added. “Twitter is a public space, and all should have access to the government officials on it.”

The First Amendment prohibits discrimination by government actors against a person’s free speech based on his or her viewpoints.

Hikind continued: “It’s unclear if Ocasio-Cortez is aware of this ruling or not, but either way, I have decided, after speaking with my legal counsel, to initiate a lawsuit against her for blocking me and a host of other public figures. Ocasio-Cortez is acting cowardly and should be ashamed of her attempts to silence me. I’ve done nothing but address her ignorance and disregard for the truth. She constantly brags about the millions of followers she has but is afraid of my speech. She is a hypocrite. (Read more from “AOC Is Facing a Huge Lawsuit – Here’s the Hilarious Reason Why” HERE)

Feds Reveal More Damning Evidence Found in Raid of Epstein’s NY Mansion; GOP Senator Goes OFF on ‘Pathetic’ Sentence

By Daily Wire. On Saturday, the FBI-NYPD Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested billionaire financier and registered sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, 66, for the alleged sex trafficking of dozens of minors between 2002 and 2005. In court Monday, prosecutors revealed new evidence they say investigators uncovered in the weekend raid of Epstein’s Manhattan mansion: “nude photographs of what appeared to be underage girls.”

“Prosecutors say Jeffrey Epstein kept perhaps thousands of sexually suggestive photographs at his Manhattan mansion,” the Associated Press reported Monday. “Officials say in court papers Monday that the pictures included some on CDs with handwritten labels including ‘Misc nudes 1,’ ‘Girl pics nude’ and the names of specific young women. Prosecutors say federal agents found some of the photos ‘of young-looking women or girls’ in a locked safe while searching the seven-story town house after the wealthy financier’s arrest Saturday on sex trafficking charges.”

One of the girls pictured among the “thousands” of photographs told investigators that she was underage when the sexually suggestive photos were taken, AP reports.

Thus far, Epstein has been charged with two counts: sex trafficking and the conspiracy to commit sex trafficking through “creating and maintaining [a] network of minor victims in multiple states to sexually abuse and exploit” (see charges below). The new evidence secured during the execution of the search warrant Saturday may result in additional charges involving child pornography. . .

In 2008, Epstein struck a secret deal with federal prosecutors over charges for one count of solicitation of prostitution and one count of solicitation of prostitution with a minor under the age of 18 that allowed him to avoid prison time, but in February, a Palm Beach judge ruled the deal unconstitutional. Epstein’s current charges carry a maximum sentence of 45 years in prison. (Read more from “Feds Reveal More Damning Evidence Found in Raid of Epstein’s NY Mansion” HERE)

Ben Sasse: Epstein’s Sentence ‘Pathetic,’ Government Must ‘Protect the Powerless’

By Fox News. Republican Sen. Ben Sasse had strong words for wealthy financier Jeffrey Epstein while appearing on “The Story with Martha MacCallum” Monday, calling his initial sentence absurd and saying the government exists to “protect the powerless.”

“This guy victimized dozens, probably scores, of little girls, and the sentence he got was pathetic. And, every mom and dad in America, frankly not just moms and dads but anybody with a heart, should be heartbroken by what happened here to those girls, to those victims, but also with the absurdity of a sentence that short,” the Nebraska senator said.

An indictment alleging sex trafficking and sex trafficking conspiracy was unsealed Monday against Epstein, the wealthy and politically connected financier who pleaded not guilty during his initial appearance in a New York City federal court. Prosecutors alleged that Epstein, 66, who was arrested on Saturday, preyed on “dozens” of victims as young as 14. Pedophile Billionaire Epstein Arrested, Charged with Sex Trafficking; Pelosi’s Daughter Warns It’s ‘Quite Likely That Some of Our Faves Are Implicated’

By Townhall. Jeffrey Epstein has been a name floated in MeToo era, but as some have noted, has largely escaped accountability for the heinous allegations that have been lobbed against him. He’s been accused of molesting and trafficking underage girls for years. The man is well connected, with ties to British royalty, former President Bill Clinton, and President Trump. . .

Epstein escaped serious federal charges on his alleged proclivities in 2007, but it seems the chickens have come home to roost. He was arrested for trafficking underage girls yesterday and will appear in court Monday. The Miami Herald had a three-part series on how Epstein used his connections and his wealth to escape accountability. The man is a billionaire former hedge fund manager with ties to some of the most powerful people in the world and access to platinum status-level defense lawyers. Yeah, I could see how he got his golden ticket back then. Not so much now.

Christine Pelosi Warns It’s ‘Quite Likely That Some of Our Faves Are Implicated’ in ‘Horrific’ Epstein Case

By Fox News. Christine Pelosi, a Democratic National Committee official and daughter of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, warned conspicuously on Saturday evening that it is “quite likely that some of our faves are implicated” in the “horrific” sex-trafficking case against politically connected financier Jeffrey Epstein.

Epstein is due in court following his sudden arrest Saturday in New York on new sex-trafficking charges involving allegations dating to the early 2000s, according to law enforcement officials. He has been accused of paying underage girls for massages and sexually abusing them at his mansion in Palm Beach, Fla., and in New York City. His 72-acre private estate on the Virgin Islands, a home said to be nicknamed “Orgy Island,” also has been under scrutiny.

“This Epstein case is horrific and the young women deserve justice,” Pelosi tweeted. “It is quite likely that some of our faves are implicated but we must follow the facts and let the chips fall where they may – whether on Republicans or Democrats.”

Multiple Females Allegedly Push, Punch Former College Linebacker over His MAGA Hat. He Handles It like a Gentleman.

. . .As [Daniel] Weldon tells it, he ventured out to celebrate the Fourth of July with a friend and was wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat — the iconic symbol of President Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign. After he and his friend parted ways, the former football player said trouble found him.

“I’m at Pita Pit, and I get surrounded by like 7 guys and girls,” he wrote on Facebook. “They start yelling at me [because] of what I’m wearing (hat and pin). They were calling me names and saying how awful of a person I was (I’m saying back this is why we’re winning in 2020).” . . .

“The 4 or 5 girls start pushing me and punching,” Weldon added. “I’m a former college linebacker, so I can take a hit, and it’s not a big deal, right? But one snatched my hat and tried to throw it away while another ripped my pin and tossed it. The dudes they were with actually ended up deescalating the situation after the girls got violent and pulled them outside. I use the restroom and come back to one of them giving me the bird.”

And despite the physical attacks he said he endured, Weldon told the outlet the only thing he did in response was grab his hat so it stayed on his head and pick his pin off the ground.

“My mama raised me right,” he told the College Fix. “I am not going to touch a girl.” (Read more from “Multiple Females Allegedly Push, Punch Former College Linebacker over His MAGA Hat. He Handles It like a Gentleman.” HERE)

U.S. School District Teaches PEDOPHILIA as a Sexual Orientation

A conservative group claimed that students in a California school district were being taught that pedophilia is a sexual orientation. . .

According to the Freedom Project, a “top official” for the Brea Olinda School District told parents that students were learning about pedophilia and pederasty from a historical perspective. . .

The information purportedly came to light during a March parent information meeting with the district. The district held the meeting to inform and review with parents the state’s Healthy Youth Act. The California Healthy Youth Act requires that students in grades seven through 12 receive “comprehensive” sexual health education, including education on HIV/AIDS. Lawmakers passed the act in 2015. . .

District Assistant Superintendent of Curricula Kerrie Torres explained that the district taught about pedophilia and pederasty when discussing “historical perspectives of how gender relations and different types of sexual orientations have existed in history” with regard to a portion on LGBTQ history. . .

[Left-wing, Establishment-supporting] Snopes reported that a district representative told them that pedophilia and pederasty was previously mentioned in a slideshow bullet point on the district curriculum, but noted that they pulled the verbiage from the slide because of its ambiguous nature.
