Robert Mueller Used Cell GPS to Track Trump Associates

By The Washington Times. Robert Mueller says he was able to pinpoint security company executive Erik Prince’s precise location for several hours in January 2017 by matching his mobile phone signal to a cell site near Trump Tower in New York City. . .

The Prince narrative is one instance in unredacted sections of the report in which Mr. Mueller’s team explicitly discloses cellphone tracking. It raises the question of whether the FBI applied the process to other investigative subjects — a phone’s GPS signal can disclose its exact location within a few feet. One of the first requests the FBI makes when confronting subjects is to ask for their electronic devices.

The fact Mr. Mueller could pinpoint Mr. Prince’s exact whereabouts suggest he used GPS readouts, which prosecutors can subpoena from cellular service providers.

“I got the distinct impression that they had all my electronic communications and they operated with a confidence borne of a complete complement of the communications of everyone else,” Michael Caputo, a former Trump campaign adviser, told The Washington Times. . .

Trump-Russia’s most infamous “whereabouts” question centers on Michael Cohen, a former Trump attorney who is now in prison for tax fraud. The Democratic Party-financed dossier alleged that Cohen participated in election interference by traveling to Prague in August 2016 to meet with operatives of Russian President Vladimir Putin. Alan Dershowitz: ‘The Mueller report should never have been written’

By Fox News. Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report on the Russia investigation should never have been written, according to Alan Dershowitz.

The Constitution does not explicitly provide for special counsels or special prosecutors, Dershowitz said Tuesday on “The Ingraham Angle.”

He added such offices are “inconsistent” with the founding document, adding that there wasn’t a pretense for the several-hundred-page conclusion to the investigation into President Trump.

Dershowitz also claimed Democrats have no legal right to have Mueller testify before them.

“Prosecutors have a right to say only one thing: We have concluded there’s no evidence sufficient to charge the president with Russian collusion or obstruction of justice, period. I’m taking no questions, I’m making no public report. I’m giving my findings to the attorney general. (Read more from “Alan Dershowitz: ‘The Mueller report should never have been written'” HERE)

Border Crisis: Texas Town Overrun with Crime and Disease, and This Mayor Has Had ENOUGH

“From my standpoint, I don’t even know why we have federal elected officials,” said Uvalde, Texas, Mayor Don McLaughlin in an exclusive interview with CR.

Uvalde, Texas, is a small town of 17,000 inhabitants, and they are now overrun by illegal immigrants and an international cartel smuggling operation. Uvalde is 40-60 miles from the border, but it might as well be right at the border. “We are in no man’s land. The state is not doing anything; the federal government is not doing anything,” said the mayor, who is begging the politicians to get involved. “We are getting nothing. I’ve lived here all my life and have never seen anything like this. The people in the communities are getting scared. What is coming that we don’t see? Who knows? People up north and in D.C. have no clue what is going on here. They don’t realize that these people are not being screened for diseases. We’re fed up.”

Situated at the crossroads of major highways coming up from border towns in the Laredo and Del Rio border sectors, Uvalde has now become a dumping ground for migrants coming north. And they are not just coming from Central America. Del Rio has received hundreds of African migrants in recent weeks. Uvalde has a Border Patrol holding facility, and according to McLaughlin, whenever it is full, if the city doesn’t take charge, many immigrants are released in a Walmart parking lot. Mayor McLaughlin said his city must pick up the tab to have them bused to San Antonio. On Friday, local media reported how San Antonio has now received hundreds of African migrants.

“In Uvalde, Border Patrol told us if we didn’t have buses ready right at the holding facility, they would have released them in a parking lot at a Walmart or a Stripes. This is what’s happening in outlying areas, but thanks to our working relationship with Border Patrol, we make sure to have buses ready. We just don’t have the facilities for them. We have to pay for these buses out of our pockets, and are citizens are mad.”

But it’s the people they don’t see who concern residents of Uvalde the most. “In addition to those being released in parking lots to get bused into San Antonio, what we are really concerned about is the increased foot traffic to our community. We have checkpoints on highway 90 and 83. The migrants are walking around the checkpoints. Now we are starting to see more calls to police of people walking through the neighborhoods, [of] finding car doors open [and] storerooms open. The Border Patrol is seeing this on their cameras, but they just don’t have the agents to respond. The foot traffic around the checkpoints has increased by 100 percent.”

McLaughlin is worried about crime. “With the Border Patrol so busy with the family units, we are seeing an increase in the bad guys. Our DPS and local authorities in surrounding communities are having more car chases. When they crash the cars, all of the smugglers bail out. Border Patrol can’t always respond, so we need to take officers and deputies to track down these people. Three weeks ago, we had a group come right in middle of town, they bailed out and we had to put all our schools on lockdown. We caught all eight individuals, but it took all day.”

In addition, McLaughlin said that there are often dozens of illegal immigrants piled on freight trains coming into his town. He said Border Patrol often lacks the resources to to check the freight trains, but recently they have caught as many as 35 in a single group. “These are the bad guys with criminal records. According to Border Patrol, 99 percent of these guys on those trains are bad guys and have criminal records. They can’t get in any other way, so they’re sneaking in on freight trains.”

McLaughlin noted that he called his Republican congressman, William Hurd, as well as the two Texas senators, the governor, and the state attorney general, but can’t get any meaningful response from them. “I don’t hear any of them prioritizing this issue. We had a citizen last week who was just on his property right where they stopped the freight train. Some of the illegals got off the train, got on his property, and confronted him. One of them started to get aggressive and the guy threatened him. That night he and his family couldn’t sleep. His grandkids won’t even come over any more to swim in the pool unless he sits there with a shotgun. That’s how much traffic we’re getting here right in Uvalde. He’s a farmer who’s been here all his life and is now thinking of moving.”

“There are ranchers around here seeing more break-ins and vehicles being stolen. It’s just a sad situation. We’ve dealt with immigration all our life, but we never had a problem of this magnitude. And most of them who used to come through were congenial people and we didn’t have to worry. Now they are aggressive. Some are coming to hunting camps and robbing the hunters.”

I heard a similar story earlier this year from county officials in New Mexico on how they see a huge change in the attitude of some of the migrants coming in through this wave from the past, even though they’ve been dealing with illegal immigration for many years.

Then of course there are the drugs. “Border Patrol is so busy with the families that the cartels are increasing the flow of narcotics with impunity,” warns McLaughlin.

Finally, there are the health issues. “They are taking them into a 10×10 room and asking them if they are OK. They have no idea what diseases they are carrying. We had two people quarantined here in Uvalde with the mumps, and there might be a third case. They are not doing anything to check these people for other diseases.”

Hidalgo County, Texas, already has 46 confirmed cases of mumps in the country. As I reported before, while Border Patrol screens out those in need of triage, there is no mechanism to ensure that all these migrants who don’t exhibit apparent symptoms of diseases in front of them are safe to be released.

Now, with the influx of Africans, particularly into the Del Rio Sector, the mayor said there is widespread concern of other diseases such as Ebola.

The small-town mayor is simply stupefied that major Texas state and federal politicians of both parties are not making a bigger deal of what’s going on. “Why don’t they hold a press conference attracting national attention? It’s going to take someone being killed in our community before we get the national attention.”

The tragedy of towns like Uvalde and similar areas in Texas is that they have a great history of doing immigration the right way. “We’re close to 90 percent Hispanic, and our community does not want these people in town. They get very upset they are being released here. They ought to be doing it like their grandparents did. They did it legally. These people are mad as hell.” (For more from the author of “Border Crisis: Texas Town Overrun with Crime and Disease, and This Mayor Has Had ENOUGH” please click HERE)

We Have Another Global Warming Prediction That Got Busted…and Glacier National Park Was Forced to Respond

They’re wrong about everything. This applies to the wider liberal media, but it especially applies to the environmental Left that has been preaching doomsday since Earth Day was created. The appalling condescension from this crew, despite peddling straight trash for years is exceedingly entertaining. It’s great because you know what the ending is—these folks eating it…hard. We had global cooling hysteria in the 1970s. It never happened. Now, we’re in the throes of this so-called global warming chapter, where we need to enact this Green New Deal by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) because in 12 years—we’re all toast or something. Funny, we’ve heard all of these predictions before. And now, people are saying by 2050, if nothing is done, we’re cooked. So, which is it, experts? Well, while you cobble together another wrong analysis, let’s go to Glacier National Park in Montana, where the signs indicating that the ice masses would be gone by 2020 have been removed because the area has been pounded by snow for years. Jazz Shaw touched on this over at Hot Air, citing the post by Jeff Dunetz who delivered a sledgehammer to this narrative:

Glacier National Park quietly removed a sign at its visitor center saying the glaciers will disappear by 2020 which were originally placed because former President Obama believed the predictions pushed by the left’s climate change hypothesis.

According to federal officials, several years in a row of high snowfall and cold temperatures totally obliterated a computer model that authorities relied on to claim that the glaciers would all be melted by 2020…

Trump Has a BIG WARNING for Companies Who Discriminate Against Him

By The Blaze. President Donald Trump said that he would consider taking action against big tech companies that he thought were discriminating against him during the election.

In a phone-in interview with Joe Kernen on CNBC Monday, the president accused companies like Google, Facebook and Amazon of colluding with the Democrats against his campaign in 2016.

“I can tell you they discriminate against me,” Trump responded to Kernen. “You know, People talk about collusion. The real collusion is between the Democrats and these companies because they were so against me during my election run. Everybody said if you don’t have them you can’t win, well I won, you know, and I’ll win again, because we’re doing well.”

Kernen later asked the president if he believed that the companies had monopolistic power and perhaps anti-trust action was needed by the government against them.

“Every week you see them going after Facebook, and Apple, and all of these companies that are, you know, great companies,” Trump said of authorities in Europe. “But I will say that the European Union is suing them all the time. Oh, so That’s Who the Liberal Media Thinks Will Indict Trump as AG

. . .The Trump impeachment/Trump is out of office dream scenarios that this “facts first” network tossed in there last week. The brave, brave souls at Newsbusters are tasked with covering the daily insanity that has ensued since the 2016 election. On June 8th’s episode of Trump Derangement Theater, CNN speculated that a new president would indict Trump in 2021 under…Attorney General Sally Yates. Tim Graham has more on CNN Host Brooke Baldwin’s venture into fantasyland:

CNN’s Newsroom with Brooke Baldwin… asked legal analyst Renato Mariotti to explain an article he wrote for Politico magazine gleefully exploring “How Trump Could Be Prosecuted After the White House,” arguing that “winning the election might be Trump’s best path to avoid being charged with a felony.” . . .

BALDWIN: So, Renato, if we take Speaker Pelosi at her word, it assumes, number one, that he doesn’t get reelected in 2020, and, number two, that a prosecutor would indict him on the evidence in the Mueller report or perhaps other ongoing investigations. And so you wrote this piece in Politico about what that could look like. How might this play out?

MARIOTTI: Well, what I would expect is a Democratic president, if — I assume he or she would leave that to the attorney general. There’s a pretty broad consensus amongst federal prosecutors, former federal prosecutors that you have highly prosecutable evidence in the Mueller report of obstruction of justice.

Sally Yates, for example, who might be the next attorney general, said publicly that she thought Trump would be indicted if he was not president. So what I would expect is an indictment, at least a three- count indictment for obstruction of justice for Trump trying to fire Mueller, trying to limit the scope of the investigation, and then trying to get the former White House counsel to create a false record.

Wealthy Millennials Are Leaving These States – and Moving to These Instead

By Fox Business. Wealthy millennials are not interested in trying to make it in the city that never sleeps. In fact, according to a new study, they are actually leaving New York state altogether.

Based on data provided by the IRS from the 2015 to 2016 tax year, a June 2019 SmartAsset study listed New York as the top state rich millennials are fleeing.

“Wealthy” or “rich” millennials were defined as those younger than 35 with a gross annual income of $100,000 or more. The data was compiled by deducting the number of affluent millennials leaving the state from the number of those moving in, which resulted in almost 5,000 departures for the year reviewed. . .

California topped the list, with a net inflow of 3,597 wealthy millennials into the state. They’re also moving to Washington State, Texas, Colorado and Florida.

“Rich millennials are moving to the coasts,” the survey noted. “Seven of the states in our top 10 are either on the East Coast or the West Coast. With Texas on the Gulf Coast, that makes Colorado and Tennessee the only landlocked states in the top 10.” (Read more from “Wealthy Millennials Are Leaving These States – and Moving to These Instead” HERE)

Where Rich Millennials Are Moving in 2019

By Smart Asset. . .Rich millennials are moving to the coasts. Seven of the states in our top 10 are either on the East Coast or the West Coast. With Texas on the Gulf Coast, that makes Colorado and Tennessee the only landlocked states in the top 10.

The Northeast isn’t popular with wealthy millennials. Save for New Jersey, which made the top 10, the Northeast isn’t a popular destination for the wealthy under 35. Five of the bottom 10 states (Connecticut, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and New York), plus the District of Columbia, are located in the Northeastern region of the U.S. (Read more from “Where Rich Millennials Are Moving in 2019” HERE)

Mexican Military Begins Taking Action Against Illegal Aliens

By The Blaze. The Mexican military has deployed and is taking action against migrants after Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador struck a deal with President Donald Trump to prevent the implementation of tariffs on Mexican imports. . .

The Mexican National Guard is targeting migrants just north of the Guatemalan-Mexican border, where migrants hitch a ride north on a train known as “The Beast,” the Washington Examiner reported.

“The National Guard was placed on one side, a moment that was used by more than 200 migrants who got off the train and fled,” Nataniel Hernández Núñe, director of the Digna Ochoa Human Rights Center, told Mexican media. . .

According to El Universal, migrant apprehensions in Mexico have increased 200 percent after Trump publicly threatened Mexico with tariffs. Because Mexico agreed to increase their immigration efforts — which they are clearly doing — Trump announced Friday that he would not move forward with the tariffs. Dow Futures Jump More Than 100 Points After US-Mexico Reach Deal to Avoid Tariffs

By CNBC. Stock futures indicated that the Dow Jones Industrial Average would open more than 100 points higher Monday in the wake of President Donald Trump’s decision to suspend planned tariffs against Mexico.

Trump announced on Friday that he would not impose 5% tariffs on Mexican exports, after Mexico agreed to strengthen immigration enforcement.

But Komal Sri Kumar, president of Sri-Kumar Global Strategies, thinks this boost will be short lived.

“There is still uncertainty around the treaty because the president can still impose tariffs if Mexico doesn’t comply with the deal,” Kumar said. “What does this mean? It means that, if the U.S. feels Mexico isn’t doing enough to stop immigration into the U.S., tariffs will be imposed. My feeling is this is going to happen sometime in the next few months.”

On Friday, the Dow closed 263.28 points higher at 25,983.94 to post its best week since November on hopes that the Federal Reserve would move to slash interest rates after job numbers came in lower than expected. Meadows Drops a Major Truth Bomb About the FBI’s Involvement in the Russia Probe

By Townhall. House Freedom Caucus Chairman Mark Meadows (R-NC) on Friday talked about the Russia investigation with Fox News’ Sean Hannity.

“Within 60 days of them opening the investigation, prior to Bob Mueller coming on, the FBI and the [Department of Justice] knew that Christopher Steele was not credible, the dossier was not true and George Papadopoulos was innocent,” Meadows explained. “When you look at that foundation, it’s all built on a foundation of sand. That’s going to start to show up very soon.”

The bureau relied on Christopher Steele’s dossier, which was conducted on behalf of the Clinton campaign, to obtain a surveillance warrants against former Trump campaign advisor Carter Page. The FBI refused to do their due diligence and actually verify what was said in the document. They treated it like gold, like absolutely everything in it was true. And that’s how we got the Russia probe.

Rosenstein Predicts Barr’s Critics May One Day Realize His Obstruction Decision Was ‘Reasonable’

By Washington Examiner. Rod Rosenstein predicts Attorney General William Barr’s detractors who criticize him for his handling of special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation may come around one day.

No stranger to controversy himself, the former deputy attorney general stressed to the New York Times that Barr made the right call when he determined there was insufficient evidence to initiate criminal prosecution against President Trump for obstruction of justice.

“A few years from now, after all of this is resolved, some of Barr’s critics might conclude that his approach was a reasonable way to navigate through a difficult situation,” he said.

A redacted version of the report Mueller’s report laid out 10 instances in which Trump might have obstructed justice, but Mueller declined to make a determination on the matter, citing a Justice Department guideline that sitting presidents cannot be indicted. Mueller also did not find sufficient evidence to establish criminal conspiracy took place between the Trump campaign and the Russian government.

Before the report’s release in April, Barr released a summary of its principal conclusions which said he and Rosenstein decided there was not sufficient evidence to establish an obstruction crime had occurred. Still, although Trump says he has been vindicated, Democrats argue Mueller’s refusal to clear Trump on obstruction provides them a road map to continue to investigate and possibly seek impeachment.
