Watch: He Used to Be an Abortionist; Now, He Fights to Save the Lives of the Unborn

In 1976, Dr. Anthony Levatino, an OB/GYN, graduated from medical school and was, without a doubt, pro-abortion. He strongly supported abortion “rights” and believed abortion was a decision to be made between a woman and her doctor . . .

But then everything changed. On a beautiful day in June of 1984, the family was at home enjoying time with friends when Levatino heard tires squeal. The children were in the street and [his daughter] Heather had been hit by a car . . .

After a while, Levatino had to return to work. And one day, his first D&E since the accident was on his schedule. He wasn’t really thinking about it or concerned. To him, it was going to be a routine procedure he had done many times before. Only it wasn’t.

“I started that abortion and I took that sopher clamp and I literally ripped out an arm or a leg and I just stared at it in the clamp. And I got sick,” he explained. “But you know something, when you start an abortion you can’t stop. If you don’t get all the pieces – and you literally stack them up on the side of the table […] your patient is going to come back infected, bleeding or dead. So I soldiered on and I finished that abortion” . . .

He [soon] realized that killing a baby at 20 weeks gestation was exactly the same as killing one at nine weeks gestation or even two weeks gestation. He understood that it doesn’t matter how big or small the baby is, it’s a human life. He has not done an abortion since February 1985 and says there is no chance he will ever perform one again. ‘She Was Alive and Crying!’: Abortion Nurse Quits After Baby Born Alive, Left to Die

newborn_crying4_810_500_55_s_c1Janet Rogers worked in a hospital that performed abortions. After 30 years, she has come forward with her story . . .

Rogers, [unknowingly] would have a life-changing experience working with one late-term abortion:

One evening a young girl was having a very difficult time. I was there with the doctor. I knew even though the doctor wrote this patient was 15 weeks, she was close to 30 weeks. This happened quite a bit, but no one ever said anything . . .

When she delivered this tiny baby (it looked full term to me) she was actually alive and crying. The doctor said to me, “Put it in the room and close the door. Do not enter til the morning shift.” I immediately took the crying baby and wrapped it up and laid it in a room. I then immediately started calling hospitals around (against the doctor’s wishes) to find someone that would take it. None around would take it cause they said it was not viable. I spent many hours trying. I just wanted to leave this place, but I knew I could not walk out and leave other patients without a charge nurse. Til this day I hear this crying infant in my head.

Despite her desperate efforts to get medical help for the child, the baby girl died. Rogers quit her job, no longer an abortion supporter. (Read more from “‘She Was Alive and Crying!’: Abortion Nurse Quits After Baby Born Alive, Left to Die” HERE)

14-Year-Old Bravely Rejected Abortion After Rape, Then Bullies Spray-Painted This Horrific Word on Her House

kaliIt was a cool night in September. One of the last of summer, but you could feel that fall was coming. I snuck out of my parents’ house in my small town to meet a boy I had been talking to on the internet. He was a really nice boy who said he was my age. I knew my parents would never approve. So after they fell asleep, I snuck out.

I never met that boy. Instead, a 66 year old man was waiting for me. He raped me that night. Violently . . .

The very first thing I heard [when I visited the doctor] —“there are always opportunities to have other children.” Another doctor told my parents that I was a “wild child” incapable of making any decision about my own baby. It never occurred to any of those doctors that I would do anything other than have an abortion. The police caught the monster who viciously raped me and today he is in jail. But still that man stole my body. And now the doctors were trying to steal my baby! . . .

The kids at school mocked me mercilessly. When they found out I was having a boy, they told me “he will grow up to be a rapist too.” One even told me that my son was going to rape me. Another time a boy cornered me and told me he would show me “what rape really was.” My parents took me out of school. Still the kids would not leave me alone.

We woke up one morning to see “WHORE” and “PROSTITUTE” spray painted on our house. For a while it seemed like everything in life was spiraling completely out of control. And then I found CHOICES4LIFE. It’s an organization run by someone who was conceived in rape. Juda Myers’ mom was raped by 8 men and she said her mom had felt the same way I did. She put me in touch with other women who had been raped and kept their baby. Palin: Down Syndrome Is No Reason for Abortion

Sarah Palin Signs Copies Of Her New Book "War On Christmas"Sarah Palin wants Ohio Gov. John Kasich to take a stand on a bill currently being debated in his state that would ban abortion in cases where the fetus is diagnosed with Down syndrome.

“I don’t think because the child has one extra chromosome they should be able to snuff that life out,” Palin told CNN’s Jake Tapper in an interview that aired Sunday on “State of the Union” . . .

“There is some fear there of the unknown,” Palin said. “Certainly, there was fear in my heart about how in the world are we going to be able to handle the challenges up ahead, not necessarily thinking of the beauty that could come from a child being different, being unique.”

Between 60% and 90% of prenatal Down syndrome diagnosis result in abortion, according to a review of termination rates in the United States between 1995 and 2011 conducted by the International Society for Prenatal Diagnosis. On Sunday, Palin blamed cultural acceptance for the prevalence of abortions in such cases . . .

Palin’s comments come as the Ohio legislature considers a bill that would prohibit abortions in cases involving Down syndrome. Kasich, a 2016 presidential hopeful who opposes abortion except in cases of rape, incest or to preserve the life of the mother, has not yet commented on the bill. Photos of Two Babies, Miscarried at 7 and 8 Weeks, Share the Truth About Abortion

wombWhen Mindy Danison shared photos of her 7-week-old baby, whom she miscarried, on Facebook, she had a purpose: to share with the world the preciousness of life.

Danison is mother to five children, ranging from age one to age nine. She and her husband, Gabe, were thrilled to be expecting another baby last fall, but unfortunately, that baby’s heart stopped beating around 7-and-a-half weeks gestation . . .

“I sit down in the tub and right away felt calmed,” she explained. “[…] I lean back, giving gentle pushes and finally I find a large thing that was encased. I analyze it to see if baby is inside. I begin to look closer and see a small piece of the baby. In that moment I was not sad, but not happy. It was a feeling that you can’t explain. If I had to, I would say, comforting, love, amazement . . .

“The incredible view of life in the early stages,” she said. “Those stages the doctors told me my baby was just clots and tissue. They told me I wouldn’t see him, I wouldn’t tell it’s a boy. […] How can they tell me this child, my baby, was not a baby?” . . .

But Danison and her husband would soon suffer two more miscarriages, including their daughter, Annabelle, whom they were also able to take photographs of after her birth in February. Anabelle was only eight weeks old when she passed away. (Read more from “Photos of Two Babies, Miscarried at 7 and 8 Weeks, Share the Truth About Abortion” HERE)

Pro-Life Groups Demand Portrait Gallery Remove Planned Parenthood Founder Bust

margaret sangerAnti-abortion activists held a rally Thursday outside the National Portrait Gallery to demand the Washington museum remove a bust of Margaret Sanger, a controversial eugenicist who founded the organizations that later became Planned Parenthood.

The modern-day abortion provider has come under scrutiny following the release of undercover videos that allegedly show employees brokering the sale of fetal tissue. Days after widespread protests against the group, E.W. Jackson, a conservative Christian minister and Virginia lawyer, led the rally in Washington urging the removal of the Sanger bust.

“You must remove the bust!” Jackson said at the rally in front of the Smithsonian museum. He later added, “If Margaret Sanger had her way, MLK and Rosa Parks would never have been born.”

The event also was organized by conservative group ForAmerica and a group of black pastors . . .

GOP 2016 presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, has publicly supported the movement to remove Sanger’s bust from the gallery. Cruz along with Rep. Louie Gohmert, R-Texas, circulated a letter to lawmakers calling the sculpture’s display “an affront broth to basic human decency and the very meaning of justice.” (Read more from “Pro-Life Groups Demand Portrait Gallery Remove Planned Parenthood Founder Bust” HERE)

Baby Gabriel Only Lived 10 Days After Birth, but His Life Proves Every Child Is Precious

babygabrielI talked the talk. Every life is a gift, and worthy of defense. We are not promised a particular quality of life, or a number of days that we will get to live. We are only promised that our lives are God-given and their length, their demise, is not for us to determine. These are truths that I have espoused since the days I felt myself called to be an active part of the pro-life movement.

Then one day I was asked to walk the walk. In a cold, sterile ultrasound room a doctor – Not even my doctor, but some stand-in – shattered the world that I knew when she told me my child, gender then unknown, had a condition that she described as “incompatible with life.” My mother cried, my ex-husband held my hand in stoic silence, and my mind raced to try to keep up with what the doctor was saying. My child, the 21 week old fetus whom I would come to know as my son, had anencephaly. If he were born alive, he would die shortly thereafter . . .

Gabriel Michael Gerard Cude was born on June 10, 2011. His name, Gabriel, was chosen for its symbolism. Of course, Gabriel is the archangel known as the messenger angel who delivered the news of the impending birth of the Savior of Man. Since his diagnosis, Gabriel represented a message that I could only speak, but that he was living: Every life matters. Gabriel means “God is my strength,” and I know that when I was weak, it was God who carried me . . .

For ten days Gabriel clung to this world. On that tenth day, through tears my ex-husband and I told our son we loved him, that he had given us more than we could have asked for, and that we knew it was time for him to go. In our arms, Gabriel took his last breath. We washed and dressed and held his lifeless body until the funeral home’s representative appeared to take our son away. His tiny body was respectfully placed in a car and we watched as it backed out of our driveway and disappeared at the end of the street . . .

I have since remarried, and so has Gabriel’s father. We each have little girls now with our respective spouses. Life is good – beyond good. Life is better than I ever thought it could be when I was in my moments of despair. That nurse was right. We were three of the luckiest people she’d ever have the chance to meet, though happiness hasn’t looked like I expected. Happiness looks like my husband, and my beautiful little girl Eden, and the knowledge that Gabriel’s father may have found the same thing with someone else, on the other side of the country. We are only promised life, not days, not outcomes, not ease, and not happiness. We chose to make the most out of what was promised. We chose life. Satan Worshipers Drown Women With Milk in Planned Parenthood Counter-Protest [+video]

1060x600-8169a512229d2a978466d7e86ac98777Satan worshipers launched a counter-protest against pro-lifers outside the Detroit and Ferndale, Michigan Planned Parenthood locations Saturday.

Clad in black robes, members of the Satanic Temple of Detriot drenched bound women with milk, simulating water-boarding to “illustrate the theocratic agenda imposed upon female bodies.” The milk symbolized breast milk, one of the protest organizers explained on Facebook.

The group attached a symbol of their temple to the American flag and held up a sign that read, “America is not a theocracy. End forced motherhood.”

At one point during the protest, a man claiming to be a sheriff unsuccessfully attempted to move the Satan worshippers along.

Members of the Satanic Temple drew inspiration for their “political theatre” from the nationwide anti-Planned Parenthood protests Saturday. Tens of thousands showed up to protest Planned Parenthood at over 300 locations across the country after a series of undercover videos revealed the abortion giant was harvesting and selling fetal organs and tissue. Ben Carson’s Campaign Admits He Referred Women to Abortionists

shutterstock_180870212_810_500_55_s_c1Republicans most trust Dr. Ben Carson and Mike Huckabee to handle the issue of abortion, according to a recent CNN poll. However, a series of statements from Carson’s campaign, and from Dr. Carson himself, have led to questions about the clarity of his pro-life views about when life begins, how RU-486 works, and his views on experimenting with aborted fetal tissue, among other issues.

On Tuesday, the Carson campaign defended his decision to refer women to abortionists if the child suffered from fetal deformities.

“Referring it on does not mean he is advocating it,” campaign spokesman Doug Watts told Politico. “He’s advocating they are getting qualified medical supervision. He has always believed that the battle over abortion had to be waged in the hearts and minds of Americans, that you cannot legislate morality. But he also believes we’re winning the debate.”

Carson told the Baltimore Sun in 1992, “As a physician who does not believe in abortion, when faced with a patient who has severe medical problems, I would refer someone for an abortion.”

“I would never advocate it’s illegal for a person to get an abortion,” the doctor said at the time. “I think in the long run we do a lot of harm when we bludgeon people.” (Read more from “Ben Carson’s Campaign Admits He Referred Women to Abortionists” HERE)

Watch: Mike Huckabee Asked If Denying Abortion to 10-Year-Old Rape Victim Is ‘Too Extreme’, Here’s How He Responds

101123_mike_huckabee_ap_328After Paraguay’s recent decision to deny an abortion to a 10-year-old who was raped by her stepfather, Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee was asked by CNN host Dana Bash how he would respond as fellow Republicans say that policy is “too extreme.”

The former Arkansas governor acknowledged during his “State of the Union” interview Sunday that what happened to the girl is “horrible” and a “terrible tragedy,” but then made a strong argument for allowing the child to be born.

“Does it solve a problem by taking the life of an innocent child?” he asked, adding later: “When I think about one horror, I also think about the possibilities that exist, and I just don’t want to think that somehow we discounted a human life … Let’s not compound the tragedy by taking yet another life.”

Huckabee added that well-known Pastor James Robison was conceived as a result of a rape, and that his mother “begged” doctors in the 1940s to give her an abortion — but they refused. Now Robison heads a Christian relief organization Life Outreach International which cares for “hundreds of thousands of people across the world,” Huckabee said, adding that none of that would have happened if Robison was aborted.
