Trump Announces Space Force Headquarters Move to Huntsville in Oval Office Speech

President Donald Trump on Tuesday confirmed that the U.S. Space Force will officially relocate its headquarters to Huntsville, Alabama, ending a long-running political tug-of-war over the command’s permanent home.

Speaking from the Oval Office, Trump praised the decision as a victory for national security and American innovation.

“I am thrilled to report that the U.S. Space Command headquarters will move to the beautiful locale of a place called Huntsville, Alabama — forever to be known from this point forward as Rocket City,” Trump said, referencing the city’s longtime nickname tied to its role in U.S. space history.

Huntsville, home to NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center, was initially selected for the Space Command (SPACECOM) headquarters during Trump’s first term. However, that decision was later reversed under the Biden administration, which opted to keep the command in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

“We initially selected Huntsville for the SPACECOM headquarters, yet those plans were wrongfully obstructed by the Biden administration,” Trump said Tuesday. “And as you know, they moved them to a different local and today, we’re moving forward with what we want to do.”

Trump emphasized that the move would enhance America’s ability to “defend and dominate the high frontier,” a reference to the strategic importance of space in modern defense planning.

Joining Trump in the Oval Office was Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala.), who lauded the move as both a strategic and fiscal win. According to Tuberville, the Alabama site is expected to save taxpayers roughly $480 million compared to the Colorado location.

Trump also noted that the new headquarters will be central to the development of his proposed “Golden Dome” integrated missile defense initiative, though few details about the program were provided.

Separately, in a phone interview aired on the Salem Radio Network, Trump warned of dire economic consequences if the Supreme Court rules against his sweeping tariff policies. Speaking with CNN contributor Scott Jennings, Trump said the elimination of his tariffs would be “an economic disaster.”

“Without the tariffs, we are a different country entirely. We will be abused by other countries. We will be laughed at,” Trump said. “If the Supreme Court for any reason strikes down my tariffs, we’re going to be in very, very serious financial trouble.”

Trump defended the tariffs not only as a revenue tool but also as a key bargaining chip in international negotiations. “It’s the power to negotiate,” he said. “Because I could say, ‘If you do that, then I’m going to charge you tariffs on that.’”

Trump-Appointed Judge Orders Alabama To Stop Effort To Remove Non-Citizens From Voter Rolls

A federal judge on Wednesday ordered Alabama officials to stop a program meant to remove non-citizens from the state’s voter rolls, dealing a blow to local efforts to prevent non-citizen participation in elections.

Alabama and the Alabama Secretary of State must cease efforts to remove non-citizens from the state’s voter rolls between now and the Nov. 5 election and must also give guidance to counties in the state to quickly restore many of the voters who have already been taken off, according to an order issued by U.S. District Judge Anna Manasco of the Northern District of Alabama. Manasco had been appointed to the court by former President Donald Trump in May 2020.

“This action sends a clear message that the Justice Department will work to ensure that the rights of eligible voters are protected,” Assistant Attorney General Kristen Clarke of the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division stated in a press release. “The Justice Department remains steadfast in our resolve to protect voters from unlawful removal from the registration rolls and to ensure that states comply with the mandate of federal law.”

Alabama Secretary of State Wes Allen, a Republican, announced in August that his office had identified 3,251 individuals who were registered to vote in the state but had also been issued non-citizen identification numbers from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Allen at that time instructed county officials to immediately take the necessary steps to remove all non-citizens from voter rolls. Feds Are Helping Register Alabama Prisoners to Vote

The Federal Bureau of Prisons has been registering federal prisoners to vote in Alabama, according to Secretary of State Wes Allen, an effort he claims is “illegal.”

“At least one liberal third-party organization has been deployed by the Federal Bureau of Prisons to conduct voter registration in federal prisons in Alabama,” Allen said in a statement to The Federalist. “Obviously, this raised questions for my staff and I.”

Allen said President Joe Biden’s “Executive Order on Promoting Access to Voting,” issued in March 2021, attempts to “mobilize and weaponize the entire federal government” to “register primarily Democrat leaning groups of voters.”

The federal program has taken the nickname “Bidenbucks.” Like the 2020 election “Zuckbucks” from Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, which enabled third-party election meddling and get-out-the-vote efforts for likely Democrat voters, it directs federal agencies to work with third-party groups to “promote voter registration and voter participation” in similar ways.

Allen asked the White House “earlier this year” how the federal government has implemented this in Alabama. He said the administration “confirmed” the Bureau of Prisons had “deployed” a “liberal third-party organization” to help register federal prisoners to vote. Those with criminal records are far more likely to vote Democrat than Republican, making this a partisan effort. (Read more from “Feds Are Helping Register Alabama Prisoners to Vote” HERE)

Police Slam ‘Disgusting’ Gang That Tortured and Murdered 20-Year-Old Mother

Alabama police have slammed eight suspects accused of beating, raping and shooting to death a 20-year-old mother in a ‘killing that shocks the conscience’.

Mahogany Jackson was stripped, handcuffed, spit on and forced to perform sex acts at gunpoint in a Birmingham apartment before being shot in the back of the head on Sunday February 25.

Prosecutors say she was tortured by four male and four female ‘acquaintances’ who filmed sections of the attack and shared them on social media.

Mahogany’s mother has pleaded with people to stop sending her the videos, saying: ‘We are suffering enough that’s my child’.

Her pleas were backed up by Jefferson County District Attorney Danny Carr who said: ‘To see it reenacted on a video – it almost places you there, and then to see people share it over and over, and I know some people may be sharing it for entertainment value or whatever, which is sad in and of itself.’ (Read more from “Alabama Police Slam ‘Disgusting’ Gang That Tortured and Murdered 20-Year-Old Mother” HERE)

Donald Trump Calls on Alabama Legislature to Find Way to Preserve IVF: GOP Sides with the ‘Miracle of Life’

Former President Donald Trump is calling on the Alabama Legislature to find a way to preserve in vitro fertilization (IVF) in Alabama following the Alabama Supreme Court ruling last week that frozen embryos are considered unborn children, asserting that the “Republican Party should always be on the side of the Miracle of Life.”

“Under my leadership, the Republican Party will always support the creation of strong, thriving, healthy American families. We want to make it easier for mothers and fathers to have babies, not harder!” Trump said in a Truth Social post on Friday.

“That includes supporting the availability of fertility treatments like IVF in every State in America,” he continued.

“Like the OVERWHELMING MAJORITY of Americans, including the VAST MAJORITY of Republicans, Conservatives, Christians, and Pro-Life Americans, I strongly support the availability of IVF for couples who are trying to have a precious baby,” Trump said, calling on the Alabama Legislature to “act quickly to find an immediate solution to preserve the availability of IVF in Alabama.”

“The Republican Party should always be on the side of the Miracle of Life – and the side of Mothers, Fathers, and their Beautiful Babies. IVF is an important part of that, and our Great Republican Party will always be with you, in your quest, for the ULTIMATE JOY IN LIFE!” Trump added:

State’s First Safe Haven Baby Box Welcomes Second Infant

Alabama’s Safe Haven Baby Box in Madison is celebrating its second successful surrender of an infant. The City of Madison revealed the recent development, highlighting the crucial role these specialized baby boxes play in providing a secure and legal avenue for parents to surrender newborns they feel unable to care for.

Madison Fire and Rescue, overseeing the baby box at Fire Station #1, received the newborn, who was promptly assessed and transported to Madison Hospital for thorough evaluation. The Alabama Department of Human Resources has been notified, ensuring appropriate procedures are followed.

The introduction of baby boxes aims to dissuade parents from abandoning infants, offering a temperature-controlled and secure space often integrated into the exterior walls of fire stations, police stations, and hospitals. Accessible from inside, these boxes provide a safe environment for at-risk mothers to place their newborns anonymously. Once the baby is inside, the box locks, triggering an alarm that alerts first responders or hospital staff.

Following the surrender, the infant undergoes a wellness check at a hospital, entering state custody with the potential for swift adoption. The implementation of baby boxes in Alabama, driven by the advocacy of Kids to Love, gained legislative support in 2023. The bill not only permitted the installation of baby boxes but also extended the state’s Safe Haven law, allowing mothers to surrender their child within 45 days instead of the previous 72-hour limit.

This positive development in Madison sets a precedent for upcoming baby boxes in Prattville, Gadsden, Tuscaloosa, and Opelika, further expanding the initiative to protect vulnerable newborns across the state.

Alabama Supreme Court Rules in Favor of Embryonic Human Life

In a landmark decision, the Alabama Supreme Court ruled Friday in favor of protecting embryonic human life from wrongful death.

Embryos are created routinely through in vitro fertilization, a process by which ova are fertilized with sperm in a laboratory rather than in a woman’s body.

The process of creating and cryopreserving embryos can be dangerous for embryonic children, who often are destroyed intentionally or through neglect.

In the case heard by the Alabama Supreme Court, three sets of parents suffered an unimaginable loss: the death of their embryonic children due to a fertility clinic’s negligence.

A hospital patient wandered into the unsecured embryo storage facility and removed a container of embryos from a sub-zero freezer. The intruder dropped the embryos in pain, resulting in the deaths of the embryonic children within. (Read more from “Alabama Supreme Court Rules in Favor of Embryonic Human Life” HERE)

Mother Allegedly Drives Over 7-Year-Old Son After Forcing Him to Walk Home as ‘Punishment’

In a shocking incident in Alabama, a 27-year-old mother, Sarai Rachel James, is accused of driving over her seven-year-old son after forcing him to walk home from school as a punishment. The incident occurred on February 8, following reports of the child causing trouble at his school in Boaz, according to the New York Post.

Allegedly informed by the school’s principal about her son’s misbehavior, James decided to enact a severe punishment by instructing her son to walk or run home. The situation took a dark turn when she reportedly drove behind or alongside the boy for about eight blocks after making him get out of the vehicle.

As the child attempted to grab the door handle of the slow-moving car before reaching home, his mother accelerated, causing him to be dragged beneath the vehicle, according to Boaz Chief of Police Michael Abercrombie. The child sustained abrasions on his back and the side of his head during the incident.

Despite the severity of the situation, Chief Abercrombie suggested that the mother may not have been aware of her son’s attempt to grab the door handle, stating, “She may not have realized he was doing that.”

Following the incident, the child was transported to the University of Alabama hospital, where he received medical attention for his injuries. Chief Abercrombie noted, “God watched over him,” as the child survived the traumatic ordeal.

James was subsequently arrested and charged with aggravated child abuse. As a result, she is now prohibited from having contact with her son. Records show that she was released on a $50,000 bond three days after her arrest.

Additionally, a 53-year-old woman who was reportedly in the vehicle at the time of the incident is now facing a misdemeanor charge of endangering the welfare of a child. She was released from jail on a $500 bond.

Black Man Claims He Won Mayoral Election but Can’t Take Office Due to Racism

A Black man has filled a federal civil rights lawsuit, claiming he was duly elected mayor of an Alabama town but was prevented from taking office by White leaders of the community.

Patrick Braxton, 57, claims “minority White residents” of the town of Newburn refused to accept the outcome of a mayoral race held in 2020 after he, a Black man, allegedly won the election. Instead of allowing him to take office, Braxton claimed the acting mayor of Newbern, Haywood Stokes III, worked with town council members to hold a special election in which Stokes was re-elected to the mayoral seat, CBS News reported.

Braxton further alleged Newbern had not held an election “for decades” prior to his purported 2020 win. Instead, he claimed, the office of mayor was “inherited by a hand-picked successor” who then appointed his own town council members, the outlet reported.

Despite the town’s 85% Black population, Braxton claimed all previous mayors were White and that only one Black person had ever served on Newbern’s town council.

Braxton stated he approached Stokes for information on how to run for mayor in 2020 over concerns the needs of the Black community were not being met. Braxton alleged Stokes then gave him “wrong information” about how to qualify for mayor, failing to tell him he needed to provide public notice to residents about the election.
