Amazon Alexa Tells Users the 2020 Presidential Election Was ‘Stolen by a Massive Amount of Election Fraud’ Causing Bezos’ Empire to Scramble to Explain Content

Amazon’s Alexa has told users that the 2020 presidential election was ‘stolen by a massive amount of election fraud’ causing Jeff Bezos’ empire to scramble to explain the concerning content.

An investigation by the Washington Post showed when the devices were asked if the election was stolen, they would cite unproven facts and say that electoral fraud had taken place.

The Alexa said it was ‘stolen by a massive amount of election fraud,’ while citing Rumble, a right-wing video streaming site.

Amazon did not say why the machines use information from unvetted sources when answering questions posed by users.

In another instance, Alexa cited Substack and said the race was ‘notorious for many incidents of irregularities and indications pointing to electoral fraud taking place in major metro centers.’ (Read more from “Amazon Alexa Tells Users the 2020 Presidential Election Was ‘Stolen by a Massive Amount of Election Fraud’ Causing Bezos’ Empire to Scramble to Explain Content” HERE)

Republicans Demand Answers on DOD Clearing Former Official of Alleged Misconduct on Amazon Jedi Bid

Based on newly revealed evidence, Republicans are now questioning the Department of Defense Office of Inspector General’s (DOD OIG) April 2020 finding that a former senior defense official — Sally Donnelly — did not engage in ethical misconduct by allegedly trying to steer a massive government contract to Amazon.

Now in control of the House, Republicans are reviewing the DOD OIG’s conclusion, which leaves the former official in a position to continue pursuing lucrative contracts for Amazon with the DOD, as well as to sit on a key DOD business advisory board.

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) recently previewed their efforts in an exclusive interview with Breitbart News. “There are a number of members that have been looking into this contract, how the contract was made — is there any illegal activity done within there — and I think more of that will come to light,” he said in March.

Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC), who sits on the Oversight and Accountability Committee, is one of the members digging into the details of the investigation.

“The conflict of interest there is major,” she told Breitbart News in an exclusive interview in May. “This is a ‘what the f-ck’ moment.” (Read more from “Republicans Demand Answers on DOD Clearing Former Official of Alleged Misconduct on Amazon Jedi Bid” HERE)

Armed Amazon Employee Stops Shooter Who Opened Fire at Arizona Facility’

An armed Arizona man is being credited as a “good Samaritan” by police after he shot an active shooter in an Amazon facility parking lot, likely preventing further bloodshed.

Police in Chandler, Arizona, say that 29-year-old Jacob Murphy pulled into the employee parking lot of an Amazon facility on Wednesday morning and opened fire after jumping out of his car,” KSAZ-TV reported.

Murphy, police said in a statement, did not work at Amazon but had “jealousy issues” regarding his girlfriend, who worked at the facility but was not present at the time.

Police say that Murphy intended to locate an unknown male worker at the facility whom he only knew by first name. When Murphy attempted to enter the facility, he was stopped by a worker who noticed that it was “strange” for Murphy to be there. Murphy shot that worker multiple times after an argument ensued.

An armed Amazon worker on the scene saw what was unfolding, and police say he pulled out his gun and fired at Murphy, wounding him. (Read more from “Armed Amazon Employee Stops Shooter Who Opened Fire at Arizona Facility’” HERE)

Thousands of Amazon Workers Strike on Black Friday

Thousands of Amazon workers are going on strike and walking out on Black Friday, protesting their working conditions and pay.

The “Make Amazon Pay” campaign planned strikes and walkouts encompassing thousands of employees in more than 30 different countries across six continents, the campaign’s website reported. The MAP website listed rising costs of living, Amazon’s supposed tax avoidance, and the company’s alleged ignoring of climate change as justification for the campaign, demanding that the company address these issues and pay workers more.

“For workers and consumers, the price of everything is going up. And for everyone, the global temperature is rising and our planet is under stress. But instead of supporting its workers, communities and the planet, Amazon is squeezing every last drop it can,” the campaign’s website writes. “We are workers and citizens divided by geography and our role in the global economy but united in our commitment to Make Amazon Pay fair wages, its taxes and for its impact on the planet.”

MAP is a 70-member coalition of trade unions and left-wing groups, including Progressive International, Greenpeace, Oxfam, Amazon Workers International, and Data for Black Lives. (Read more from “Thousands of Amazon Workers Strike on Black Friday” HERE)

Amazon Handed Ring Footage to Police Without User Consent

Amazon has provided Ring doorbell footage to law enforcement 11 times this year without the user’s permission, a revelation that’s bound to raise more privacy and civil liberty concerns about its video-sharing agreements with police departments across the country.

The disclosure came in a letter from the company that was made public Wednesday by U.S. Sen. Edward Markey, a Massachusetts Democrat who sent a separate letter to Amazon last month questioning Ring’s surveillance practices and engagement with law enforcement.

Ring has said before it will not share customer information with police without consent, a warrant or due to “an exigent or emergency” circumstance. The 11 videos shared this year fell under the emergency provision, Amazon’s letter said, the first time the company publicly shared such information. The letter, dated July 1, did not say which videos were shared with police. (Read more from “Amazon Handed Ring Footage to Police Without User Consent” HERE)

Amazon to Foot the Bill for Employees’ Abortion Tourism

Amazon will fund up to $4,000 in annual travel expenses for employees seeking abortions, according to a company spokesman, joining several other large corporations with similar policies.

The company announced in an internal message that it will cover travel expenses for abortions when an employee cannot obtain one within 100 miles of their home and “virtual care” is not possible, according to Reuters. Citigroup, Apple, Match Group, and Yelp are also covering abortion-related travel expenses for employees.

An Amazon spokesman confirmed the policy to the Daily Caller News Foundation but declined to comment further. It will go into effect retroactively, extending to Jan. 1, 2022.

The Amazon policy will cover $4,000 of travel for non-life-threatening medical procedures other than abortions as well, according to Reuters.

Amazon Reportedly Blocks ‘Union’ and ‘Pay Raise’ on Employee App

Amazon reportedly plans to block and flag words like “union,” “living wage” and “plantation” on an internal messaging app — days after warehouse workers in New York became the company’s first in the US to unionize.

The list of banned words also includes “pay raise,” “prison,” “slave labor” and “restrooms,” the Intercept reported on Monday.

The alleged “restrooms” ban comes after years of reports that Amazon warehouse workers and drivers have been forced to pee in bottles in order to meet punishing work quotas.

Amazon’s “auto bad word moderator” is expected to roll out on an internal social media-style app used by Amazon employees later this month, according to the Intercept.

Additional banned words reportedly include “freedom,” “bullying,” “harassment,” “petition,” “diversity,” “concerned” and “robots,” as well as slurs and swear words. (Read more from “Amazon Reportedly Blocks ‘Union’ and ‘Pay Raise’ on Employee App” HERE)

Amazon Relocating Employees From Seattle Office After Violent Crime Surge

Amazon is temporarily relocating employees from the company’s downtown Seattle office after an uptick of violent crime rocked the area.

Roughly 1,800 employees are assigned to the office space on Third Avenue and Pine Street in the heart of the city, but many of the employees are still working remotely, Amazon said in a statement to KOMO News.

“Given recent incidents near 3rd (Ave) and Pine (St), we’re providing employees currently at that location with alternative office space elsewhere,” an Amazon spokesman said in an emailed statement to the outlet.

“We are hopeful that conditions will improve and that we will be able to bring employees back to this location when it is safe to do so.”

Recent violent crimes in the area include the fatal shooting of a 15-year-old boy on March 2. The shooter is still at large as of Monday, cops said. (Read more from “Amazon Relocating Employees From Seattle Office After Violent Crime Surge” HERE)

Amazon Deleted Reviews of Chinese President’s Book on Government’s Orders: Report

Didn’t like Chinese President Xi Jinping’s book? Keep your mouth shut.

That’s what China told Amazon, according to a new report, when the country pushed the bookseller to delete all comments and reviews related to “The Governance of China,” a compendium of Xi’s speeches and writings.

Amazon complied. It’s another example of a US company bending to Chinese pressure in order to keep doing business in the huge and growing economy.

The government edict was delivered two years ago, according to the Reuters report citing two people familiar with the matter, but had never before been disclosed.

Now, on Amazon sites accessed within China, there are no reviews or star ratings for the book. (Read more from “Amazon Deleted Reviews of Chinese President’s Book on Government’s Orders: Report” HERE)
