Obama’s Deputies Release Leftist Collaborator with Twin Towers Jihadis

President Barack Obama’s appointees won an early prison release for a progressive lawyer who collaborated with the Muslim jihadi leader of the 1993 attack on New York’s Twin Towers.

The 1993 attack failed to topple the building, but it did kill six Americans. The jihadi plotters had hoped the first tower would collapse and destroy the second tower in the process, killing all the Americans in both structures.

The failed attack was a model for Osama bin Laden’s successful atrocity in 2001, when his Muslim jihadis killed 3,000 New Yorkers.

The released left-wing lawyer, Lynne Stewart, 74, was sentenced in 2005 to a decade-long sentence for acting as a courier for her jihadi client, Omar Abdel-Rahman, who was jailed in 1995 for urging the Twin Towers attack.

Stewart’s allies said she should be released from prison because she’s suffering from cancer and is expected to die in 18 months. The 3,006 Americans who burned to death, were crushed by steel and concrete debris or leapt out of the Twin Towers during the September 11 attacks, were not available for comment.

Obama Pollster Says Reporters Should Go the Next ‘Year Without Reporting Any Public Polling Data’

After a year of seeing President Obama’s approval ratings plummet, the president’s pollster is offering a strikingly candid and pessimistic New Year’s resolution.

Reporters should go the next “year without reporting any public polling data,” Joel Benenson, president and CEO of Benenson Strategy Group, said.

His comments were made to reporter Mike Allen, who published them in his daily “Politico Playbook” morning newsletter on Tuesday.

Benenson explained that he thinks the polling often reported by news organizations lacks the proper context.

Obama’s DOJ Plays Politics in Prosecuting Knockout Game Perp

[W]hen the U.S. Justice Department finally decided to act upon on the trend of typically black violence, the Obama administration filed its first hate-crime charges against a white man, Conrad Alvin Barrett of Katy, Texas.

The charge marks the first time the administration has taken action on a ‘Knockout’ case after the game became an Internet and media phenomenon,” the Washington Times reported. “It chose a case in which the person accused is white, even though most other cases reported in the news have involved black assailants.”

The disparity between the trend and the DOJ’s charges has led several voices to conclude there may be more than irony behind the administration’s actions.

Colin Flaherty, who researched and documented hundreds of cases of racial violence for his 2013 book, “White Girl Bleed A Lot: The Return of Racial Violence to America and How the Media Ignore It,” told WND the administration may be using the case to manipulate public opinion on the Knockout Game.

“I have uncovered hundreds of recent examples of black mobs and black teens taking violent actions toward specifically white targets. There can be little doubt there is a racial motivation behind these crimes,” Flaherty told WND. “Where have Obama and his DOJ been until now?

President Obama’s Top 10 Constitutional Violations Of 2013

One of Barack Obama’s chief accomplishments has been to return the Constitution to a central place in our public discourse.

Unfortunately, the president fomented this upswing in civic interest not by talking up the constitutional aspects of his policy agenda, but by blatantly violating the strictures of our founding document. And he’s been most frustrated with the separation of powers, which doesn’t allow him to “fundamentally transform” the country without congressional acquiescence.

But that hasn’t stopped him. In its first term, the Administration launched a “We Can’t Wait” initiative, with senior aide Dan Pfeiffer explaining that “when Congress won’t act, this president will.” And earlier this year, President Obama said in announcing his new economic plans that “I will not allow gridlock, or inaction, or willful indifference to get in our way.”

And so, as we reach the end of another year of political strife that’s fundamentally based on clashing views on the role of government in society, I thought I’d update a list I made two years ago and hereby present President Obama’s top 10 constitutional violations of 2013.

1. Delay of Obamacare’s out-of-pocket caps. The Labor Department announced in February that it was delaying for a year the part of the healthcare law that limits how much people have to spend on their own insurance. This may have been sensible—insurers and employers need time to comply with rapidly changing regulations—but changing the law requires actual legislation.

Report: Islamists’ Slaughter of Syrian Christians Ignored by Obama, Major Media

The West has ignored the killing of Christians in Syria, a report said.

The Middle East Forum asserted that the United States and other NATO countries were overlooking reports of the killing of Christians by Islamist rebels. In a report, the forum cited the raid of Islamist units supported by the United States of the Christian town of Sadad in late October.

“One of the worst Christian massacres — complete with mass graves, tortured-to-death women and children, and destroyed churches — recently took place in Syria, at the hands of the U.S.-supported jihadi rebels; and

the U.S. government and its mainstream media mouthpiece are, as usual, silent — that is, when not actively trying to minimize matters,” the report said.

Author Raymond Ibrahim said the Islamist rebels held Sadad for more than a week and killed 45 Christians. The town’s 14 churches were said to have been destroyed in what could be seen in the videos released by the militias.

Now President Obama has a major credibility issue that is sure to forever taint his legacy.

Obama’s credibility will be difficult to regain after the failure of his core Obamacare promise, and the disastrous roll-out of the health-care law rescued the Republicans from a public relations nightmare following the government shutdown, according to one of the nation’s leading political scientists.

Larry Sabato is a professor of political science at the University of Virginia and directs the school’s Center for Politics. He told WND President Obama lost a lot of ground with the American people by promising them if they liked their health plans and doctors that they could keep them.

W.H.: Obama has Signed Up for Insurance Under Obamacare

President Barack Obama has signed up for health insurance through an Affordable Care Act exchange, the White House said Monday.

In what an official acknowledged is a “symbolic” move since the president gets his medical care from the military, Obama selected a low-cost bronze plan through the District of Columbia exchange. He made the pick over the weekend while vacationing in Hawaii.

Obama “was pleased to participate in a plan as a show of support for these marketplaces which are providing quality, affordable health care options to more than a million people,” the official added.

Obama says US May Take Further Military Action to Protect Americans in South Sudan

President Barack Obama told Congress Sunday that he may take further military action to protect Americans trying to evacuate violence-plagued South Sudan.

In a letter to Congress, Obama said that about 46 U.S. troops were deployed Saturday to help evacuate Americans. That’s in addition to another 45 troops deployed to reinforce the U.S. Embassy in Juba.

Four U.S. troops were injured in the evacuation mission Saturday when gunfire hit three military planes in Bor. All four are in stable condition, the White House said.

It remains unclear how many Americans are still stranded in Bor and other rural towns.

Obama is on his annual vacation in Hawaii, but he said in the letter to congressional leaders that he’s monitoring the situation. Earlier Sunday, Obama was briefed by advisers on events in South Sudan following a meeting that his national security adviser, Susan Rice, held with national security aides and U.S. personnel still in South Sudan.

Michelle Obama: ‘Make It a Christmas Treat’ to Talk About Health Insurance (+video)

Reaching out to “moms” on Wednesday, President and Mrs. Obama urged them to encourage others to enroll in Obamacare.

“And we urge people to reach out. And if they signed up their child, then signed up — sign up their friends,” Mrs. Obama said. “You know, if you’ve got grandkids, make it a Christmas treat around the table to talk about a little health care. You know, ring in the new year with a — new coverage.” (Chuckles.)

Mrs. Obama said when she thinks of Obamacare, “the words that come to mind for me are peace of mind.” She said it’s not about politics — it’s about a “safety net” to prevent medical bills from bankrupting patients.

“And as Barack said, your stories are powerful. And it’s our job as mothers to make sure that our young people are informed about, you know, their invincibility, to make sure that other moms and families out there really understand what this law provides, and that they can take advantage of it. This is the beauty of it. People have choices. They can go onto the website, they can talk to a navigator, they can learn for themselves what the law means and what it doesn’t mean.

And that’s really, really what we want people to do, is educate yourselves. Get that education. Make the choice that’s best for your family because the options are there,” she said.
