President Trump’s campaign escorted a Bloomberg News reporter out of an event in Iowa weeks after it said it would no longer credential the news organization’s reporters for its events.

Reporter Jennifer Jacobs was removed from the room before a news conference in West Des Moines on Monday. A campaign official told the Washington Examiner the decision was in line with campaign policy.

The Trump campaign said in December that it would not give Bloomberg News reporters credentials following the news organization’s decision not to conduct investigative reporting on any 2020 Democratic presidential candidates after its owner, Michael Bloomberg, announced he was running for president. Bloomberg News said it would cover daily campaign events as usual and would still investigate the Trump administration.
