Man Arrested for Carrying ‘Ghost Gun’ to Capitol Hill

Charges have been filed against a Maryland man who tried to bring a “ghost gun” into an office of the House of Representatives last Tuesday.

Thirty-five year old Jason White allegedly attempted to bring the gun into the Cannon House Office Building on June 24, just after 8:30 am. White had placed his bag through a metal detector at the building’s security checkpoint when the firearm was detected, according to police. White told police that he had forgotten the gun was in his bag, according to CBS.

“There was no serial number present anywhere on the firearm,” according to an affidavit shared with CBS News. All guns manufactured in the United States or imported into the states are required to have serial numbers that are typically on the back of the firearm’s frame. Critics: Deep State UFO Darling Luis Elizondo Revealed as the Fraud He Is

In a small Capitol Hill briefing room, amid talk of extraterrestrials and national security, a former intelligence officer held up a photograph he deemed worthy of the utmost consideration.

“This was taken by a civilian pilot,” said Luis “Lue” Elizondo, a former U.S. Army counterintelligence officer turned UFO disclosure advocate. He squinted at the printout in his hands. “You’d think this information would be important for somebody to look at.

”The grainy image appeared to show a disc-shaped, silvery object floating high above the arid expanse of the American Southwest. Elizondo told attendees it could be anywhere from 600 to 1,000 feet wide. The sighting of the huge object, he said, had occurred at an altitude of 21,000 feet near the Four Corners region where Colorado, Utah, Arizona, and New Mexico meet. . .

Elizondo’s presentation was meant to reinforce the idea that aliens are among us. Instead, it unraveled within hours.

The photograph quickly made its way to Reddit, where users in the UFO-friendly and aptly named r/UFOs forum took a closer look. One member, mattperkins86, compared it to satellite imagery and pinpointed the spot near Colorado Springs. The supposed “UFO,” it turned out, matched the shape and arrangement of two adjacent, perfectly circular crop fields.

Notably, the darker of the two fields appeared as a shadow under the brighter one — an optical illusion caused by their arrangement and lighting. “Not even a crop circle,” one user scoffed. “Just regular crops in a circle.” (Read more from “Critics: Deep State UFO Darling Luis Elizondo Revealed as the Fraud He Is” HERE)

Trump Attorney General Nominee Pam Bondi Heads to Capitol Hill

Pam Bondi, a longtime loyalist to President-elect Donald Trump and his pick for attorney general, is headed to Capitol Hill next week to start meetings with key Republicans in Congress, paving the way for a smooth confirmation.

Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) announced Friday that he would meet with Bondi on Monday morning.

Grassley is poised to chair the Senate Judiciary Committee, which has long been tasked with evaluating and considering picks for attorney general. The Iowa Republican, 91, is also expected to become Senate president pro tempore, third in line to the presidency.

“Attorney General Nominee Bondi is looking forward to the confirmation process and answering any questions senators might have,” Trump transition spokesman Alex Pfeiffer told the Washington Examiner. “Attorney General Nominee Bondi’s life has been dedicated to keeping Americans safe. She looks forward to continuing that work at the Department of Justice.”

Trump nominated Bondi for attorney general last week after former Rep. Matt Gaetz withdrew his name from consideration. (Read more from “Trump Attorney General Nominee Pam Bondi Heads to Capitol Hill” HERE)

Donald Trump to Capitol Hill Globalists Pushing Foreign Aid: ‘I Am the Only One Who Speaks for Me’

Former President Donald Trump on Thursday reminded globalists on Capitol Hill pushing foreign aid that no one speaks for him but himself.

Trump took to Truth Social in the afternoon to make clear he is his own spokesman a day after Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) told CNN’s Jake Tapper that the 45th president would have his back on his Biden-endorsed foreign aid package. The package bundles four separate bills together under a single rule, including a bill that would appropriate $60.84 billion for Ukraine.

“I am the only one who speaks for ‘ME’ and, while it is a total mess caused by Crooked Joe Biden and the Incompetent Democrats, if I were President, this War would have never started!” Trump wrote. Trump also criticized European nations in the post, wondering why they are not “giving more money to help Ukraine?”

During an appearance on CNN’s The Lead with Tapper on Wednesday, the host asked Johnson, “Have you talked to Trump about this plan, this legislative plan in terms of how you’re introducing these foreign aid bills, and ultimately, will he have your back?”

“Oh, I think he will,” Johnson, who faces a revolt in his own conference from many hardline conservatives[.] (Read more from “Donald Trump to Capitol Hill Globalists Pushing Foreign Aid: ‘I Am the Only One Who Speaks for Me’” HERE)

Hunter Biden Claimed He Wanted A Public Hearing — Now House Republicans Give Him His Chance

House Republicans are giving Hunter Biden a chance to publicly testify on Capitol Hill after he previously indicated he would be interested in such an arrangement, the Daily Caller has learned.

Oversight and Accountability Chairman James Comer invited Hunter Biden on Wednesday to testify alongside his former business associates Devon Archer, Tony Bobulinski and Jason Galanis, according to a press release obtained by the Daily Caller. The hearing, titled “Influence Peddling: Examining Joe Biden’s Abuse of Public Office,” is set to occur March 20th and will seek to examine President Biden’s involvement in his son’s foreign business dealings.

“Given his repeated calls for a public hearing, we fully expect him to appear for a scheduled hearing on [March 20th] alongside his former business associates,” a source familiar told the Daily Caller.

The House Oversight Committee subpoenaed the first son in November in an effort to have him attend a closed-door deposition regarding his foreign business dealings. Hunter Biden instead chose to stage a press conference outside the Capitol on Dec. 13, the day of the scheduled closed-door deposition. While standing in front of the Capitol, the first son denied that his father ever played any part in his business dealings and noted that he would testify publicly, an offer his lawyer previously suggested to the committee. Hunter Biden also criticized Republicans for bringing an impeachment inquiry against his father, President Joe Biden. Democrat Insurrection: Liberal Hill Staffers Arrested for Storming Dem Leadership Office

A group of liberal Capitol Hill staffers were arrested in the office of Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D., N.Y.) after demanding Democratic leadership resume talks on climate legislation.

More than a dozen employees of Democratic members of Congress sat down in Schumer’s office holding signs calling on the majority leader to renew efforts to combat climate change. The protest ended after about half an hour when Capitol Police bound the disgruntled staffers’ hands with zip ties and escorted them out.

One of the protesters, Saul Levin, a staffer for “Squad” member Rep. Cori Bush (D., Mo.), tweeted photos of the demonstration from within Schumer’s office.

“We, staffers of the US Congress, are peacefully sitting in on Senator Schumer’s office to demand Dems pass climate justice policy this year,” Levin tweeted. “We are putting our bodies on the line because we have no other choice.” (Read more from “Democrat Insurrection: Liberal Hill Staffers Arrested for Storming Dem Leadership Office” HERE)

Joe Biden to Dems: Vote for Trillions in Spending, or the Capitol Rioters Win

President Joe Biden has sought to motivate Democrats on Capitol Hill to vote for his multi-trillion-dollar spending bills by warning them that if the bills fail, those who supported the Capitol riot on January 6 will celebrate a political victory. . .

Biden, who recently appointed an alleged domestic terrorist to his Cabinet with the conformation of Tracy Stone-Manning to lead the Bureau of Land Management on Thursday, referred to the January 6 riot in private meetings with Democrats.

The Associated Press reported:

In his private talks with legislators, Biden has suggested a Democratic defeat on the current bills would be a gift to Republicans, empowering a party that he has judged a threat to democracy itself. Defeat, he has warned, would embolden the same forces who tacitly blessed the origins of the Jan. 6th insurrection and are now balking at helping to lift the national debt ceiling to avoid a government default.

Everyone Agrees the New Capitol Security Measure Is Awful

Three weeks after the deadly riots on Capitol Hill, a major change is coming to the People’s House. According to the acting Capitol Police chief, a permanent security fence is going to be installed in front of the Capitol.

“Vast improvements to the physical security infrastructure must be made to include permanent fencing,” Acting U.S. Capitol Police Chief Yogananda Pittman announced. As you can see, the Capitol will not look quite as inviting.

Who Is on the Reported Capitol Hill ‘Creep List’?

Widespread sexual harassment in the halls of Congress is an open secret, and female lawmakers, staff, and interns keep a “creep list” of male members to avoid, according to a new report from CNN.

More than 50 sources spoke to CNN, including “lawmakers, current and former Hill aides and political veterans who have worked in Congress.” They spoke anonymously, fearful of repercussions, and almost everyone said they have personally experienced sexual harassment or known someone else who has.

One ex-House aide said that with “so many young women” working on the Hill, male lawmakers “have no self-control.” There are rules for new hires to teach them which lawmakers to avoid, like “be extra careful of the male lawmakers who sleep in their offices,” and “avoid finding yourself alone with a congressman or senator in elevators.”

Some of the individuals who spoke to CNN even named sitting lawmakers who engage in inappropriate behavior.

The dozens of interviews that CNN conducted with both men and women also revealed that there is an unwritten list of male lawmakers — made up primarily of House representatives where there are many more members than the Senate — notorious for inappropriate or predatory behavior. Several people simply referred to that roster as the “creep list.”

More than half a dozen interviewees independently named one California congressman for pursuing female staffers; another half dozen pointed to a Texas congressman for engaging in inappropriate behavior. CNN is not naming either of those lawmakers because the stories are unverified.

One woman recounted an encounter with a sitting senator in an elevator. Her boss, another senator, introduced her to his colleague. When she shook the senator’s hand, she says he stroked the inside of her palm “in a really gross, suggestive way.”

The woman declined to be named or to reveal the senator’s identity.

That victims of sexual harassment on Capitol Hill should feel afraid to identify their harassers is completely unacceptable. These women say they fear repercussions at work. One woman who spoke to CNN said she questions whether her career was damaged after she filed a complaint against her boss, another staffer.

Two things need to happen immediately. First, Congress needs to pass a serious measure to ensure that everyone on Capitol Hill can file complaints against workplace harassment without endangering their careers.

Second, these women need to name their harassers. Now. The people of the United States are the H.R. department of Congress. The lawmakers on this “creep list” need to be made public, and voters must expel them from Congress.

If Roy Moore is unfit for public office based on believable allegations of serious sexual misconduct, then so too is the sitting senator and the members of Congress alluded to in CNN’s report.

Nude Images, Videos of Congresswoman and Husband Shared by Former Staffer

Two former Capitol Hill staffers were indicted this week in connection with the alleged sharing of “private, nude images and videos” swiped from a congresswoman’s cellphone.

The congresswoman is Virgin Islands Del. Stacey Plaskett, her office confirmed Thursday evening. The footage depicts Plaskett, identified in court documents as “Delegate S.P.,” and her husband.

In March 2016, Plaskett entrusted her iPhone and its password to staffer Juan McCullum, who, the indictment alleges, copied the nude images and videos after offering to take the phone to an Apple store for repairs.

McCullum allegedly also created a Facebook account, uploaded the visual content, and then friended people in Plaskett’s district.

McCullum was indicted Tuesday by a grand jury on two counts of cyberstalking, the U.S. attorney’s office in the nation’s capital announced Thursday afternoon. (Read more from “Nude Images, Videos of Congresswoman and Husband Shared by Former Staffer” HERE)
