Is the jig finally up for dirtbag Michael Byrd, the Capitol Police Captain who many believe murdered unarmed Ashli Babbit in cold blood on January 6?

This dirty cop, who has a history of disciplinary issues, including weapons infractions, was actually promoted after he shot and killed an unarmed female vet—the ultimate DEI move from the left.

Politico:

In the aftermath, the Department of Justice conducted an investigation and concluded that Byrd would not face criminal charges, determining that his actions were justified under the circumstances. In August 2021, Byrd publicly identified himself and discussed the incident, expressing that he believed his actions saved lives that day.

In August 2023, Byrd was promoted to the rank of captain within the U.S. Capitol Police, recognizing his service and actions during the January 6 events.

Michael thinks he saved “countless” lives that day by killing young Ashli.

This buffoon is so reckless and dangerous that he once left his firearm unattended in a public area of the Capitol.

Well, it seems that Byrd is back in the crosshairs, and this time, he won’t have the Biden regime’s DOJ to protect him.

Investigative reporter Paul Sperry shared an update on X, revealing that House Oversight investigators have set a deadline of December 12th for Capitol Police to hand over three years’ worth of electronic correspondence from Michael Byrd.

Children’s Choir Singing National Anthem Silenced by Capitol Police

Capitol police silenced a South Carolina children’s choir during their rendition of the National Anthem in National Statuary Hall.

David Rasbach, the founder and director of the Rushingbrook Children’s Choir, had received prior written approval from three congressman — including Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) — to perform five songs at the Capitol on Friday, May 26, the Daily Signal reported.

Micah Rea, founder and principal of The Rea Group and organizer of the trip, said the group received written approval from South Carolina Republican Reps. William Timmons and Joe Wilson. In addition, he had a staffer from Rep. Wilson’s office to confirm it was still approved.

Upon arriving at the Capitol that day, the choir from Greenville, South Carolina, was momentarily stopped by Andrew Tremel, the visitor operations manager at the Architect of the Capitol, but he allowed them to continue once he received approval through his earbud, the Western Journal reported.

Family of Late Capitol Police Officer Sues Trump for $10 Million

The fiancee of a Capitol Police officer is suing Donald Trump, accusing the former president of his wrongful death and other damages.

Sandra Garza, representing the estate of Officer Brian Sicknick, is reportedly seeking $10 million from the 2024 Republican presidential-primary hopeful, saying he was at fault in the Jan. 6 riots.

The lawsuit charges that Sicknick’s death was the result of Mr. Trump’s rhetoric and claims that the 2020 presidential election was stolen from him.

“As a direct and foreseeable consequence of Defendant Trump’s false and incendiary allegations of fraud and theft, and in direct response to Defendant Trump’s express calls for violence at the rally, a violent mob attacked the U.S. Capitol,” the lawsuit said.

By Townhall. Reportedly “arrested” for “civil disobedience” — that is, blocking traffic — outside the Supreme Court in protest of the recent Dobbs decision, more than 30 radical Democrats, including several lawmakers, took their antics a bit too far beyond the point of believability.

Here’s video of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) being led away from the front of the Supreme Court by Capitol Police officers with her hands behind her back as if in handcuffs… but then she raised her fist over her head revealing that the “arms-behind-your-back” look was pure choreographed political theater, before going back to pretending to be in cuffs. . .

Unless Capitol Police are now using handcuffs that allow arrestees to raise just one arm to wave at supporters, there weren’t restraints involved. But that didn’t stop some in the media from taking the bait set by Reps. Omar and Ocasio-Cortez to erroneously report that the videos they shared showed them placed in cuffs.

Video of AOC Pretending to Be Handcuffed Viewed Over 2 Million Times

By Newsweek. A video of Democratic Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez pretending to be handcuffed while being arrested at a protest on Tuesday has been viewed over 2 million times on Twitter.

Ocasio-Cortez has been vocal about the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision on June 24 to overturn Roe v. Wade, which protected the right to abortion in the U.S. On Tuesday, at an abortion rights protest outside of the Supreme Court, Ocasio-Cortez was detained for blocking traffic and put her hands behind her back as she was escorted away by a Capitol Police officer, making it appear as though she’d been handcuffed.

Videos have circulated showing the incident. In the video posted on Twitter by reporter and contributor for Conservative think tank The Heritage Douglas Blair, Ocasio-Cortez can be seen walking away with her hands behind her back, an officer holding her left arm, but near the video’s end, she raises her right fist in the air to supporters watching.

Squad Dems Arrested During Protest Near Supreme Court

Multiple members of Congress including Reps. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., and Alma Adams, D-N.C., were arrested by Capitol Police Tuesday afternoon outside the Supreme Court building during an abortion rights protest.

Adams’ staff confirmed her arrest in a tweet from her official account. Omar’s office confirmed her arrest to WCCO.

In a tweet, Omar remained defiant.

“Today I was arrested while participating in a civil disobedience action with my fellow Members of Congress outside the Supreme Court. I will continue to do everything in my power to raise the alarm about the assault on our reproductive rights!” she wrote.

By Breitbart. The U.S. Capitol Police arrested a group of nine staffers from CBS’s The Late Show with Stephen Colbert for allegedly trespassing in the U.S. Capitol on Thursday night, according to Fox News.

The group of Colbert staffers was arrested in the Capitol’s Longworth House Office Building and charged with illegal entry into the House office buildings after hours. These nine individuals were reportedly escorted out of the January 6 Committee hearing earlier Thursday for not having proper press credential.

As the U.S. Capitol Police explained in a statement to Fox News:

On June 16, 2022, at approximately 8:30 p.m., U.S. Capitol Police (USCP) received a call for a disturbance in the Longworth House Office Building. Responding officers observed seven individuals, unescorted and without Congressional ID, in a sixth-floor hallway. The building was closed to visitors, and these individuals were determined to be a part of a group that had been directed by the USCP to leave the building earlier in the day. They were charged with Unlawful Entry. This is an active criminal investigation, and may result in additional criminal charges after consultation with the U.S. Attorney.

New Details Emerge About Stephen Colbert Staffers Who Were Arrested for Unlawful Entry Into U.S. House Building

By Daily Wire. New details emerged late on Friday evening about the staffers who work for CBS’s “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” that were arrested for allegedly illegally entering an office building for the U.S. House of Representatives. . .

The nine individuals who were allegedly arrested included Jake Plunkett, Allison Martinez, Tyrone Dean, Stephen Romond, Nicoletta Green, Brendan Hurley, Robert Smigel, Josh Comers, and David Feldman.

“Robert Smigel is known for being the voice of Triumph the Insult Comic Dog,” Pergram noted. “He also produced short cartoons for Saturday Night Live’s ‘TV Funhouse.’”

FBI Director Refuses To Reveal Cause of Capitol Police Officer’s Death

Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick died only a few hours after the riot at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6.

For weeks, legacy media outlets proclaimed he was struck in the head with a fire extinguisher in the hands of supporters of President Trump. . .

It still remains a secret, according to FBI chief Christopher Wray.

He told a congressional hearing this week: “There is an ongoing investigation into his death. I have to be careful at this stage, because it’s ongoing, not to get out in front of it.” . . .

Navy Yard: Swat Team ‘Stood Down’ at Mass Shooting Scene

Picture - Navy Yard ShootingOne of the first teams of heavily armed police to respond to Monday’s shooting in Washington DC was ordered to stand down by superiors, the BBC can reveal.

A tactical response team of the Capitol Police, a force that guards the US Capitol complex, was told to leave the scene by a supervisor instead of aiding municipal officers.

The Capitol Police department has launched a review into the matter.

Aaron Alexis, 34, killed 12 people at the Washington Navy Yard…

Capitol Police Officer Jim Konczos, who leads the officers’ union, said the Cert police train for what are known as active shooter situations and are expert marksmen.

“Odds are it might have had a different outcome,” he said of Monday’s shooting and the decision to order the Cert unit to stand down. “It probably could have been neutralised.”
