Democrats Apparently Destroyed J6 Commission Witness Testimony

Democrats running the partisan panel assembled by ex-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to investigate the Jan. 6, 2021, protest-turned-riot at the Capitol apparently destroyed evidence.

That would be all of the videotapes of witness testimony.

A report from Just the News says Rep. Barry Loudermilk, R-Ga., of the House Administration oversight subcommittee, confirmed, “All of the videotapes of all depositions are gone.”

Those would be the recordings of interviews done by the Democrat committee that essentially assembled claims to try to blame President Trump for the events that day.

That was evident by the fact the committee refused even to consider evidence of Pelosi’s own culpability, as she was integral to Congress refusing Trump’s offer of additional National Guard troops to keep order that day. Disgraced GOP Senator Says He ‘Would Support’ Jan. 6 Capitol Riot Commission

Sen. Mitt Romney says he “would support” the House-passed bill establishing a commission to investigate the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, making him the first Senate Republican to come out in favor of the proposal, after House Republicans opposed it.

Speaking to reporters at the Capitol on Monday evening, Romney (R-Utah) made the revelation after being asked how he would vote if Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) brought the legislation to the floor for debate.

“I would support the bill,” he responded.

The Senate is split 50-50 between Republicans and Democrats, though Vice President Kamala Harris, as Senate president, has a tie-breaking vote. Still, 51 votes are not enough under current rules to break through the filibuster. (Read more from “Disgraced GOP Senator Says He ‘Would Support’ Jan. 6 Capitol Riot Commission” HERE)

‘Hardcore Leftist’ Charged With Plotting Violence at State Capitol May Have Ties To Terror Group

By Washington Journal. A Florida man and reportedly self-described “hardcore leftist” was arrested Friday after he called for violent protests Sunday at the Florida state Capitol in Tallahassee.

Daniel Baker of Tallahassee, who prosecutors said was once a member in a group registered by the federal government as a terrorist organization, was seeking to organize an attack on any protesters who might show up at the Florida Capitol on Sunday.

Baker is charged with “transmission in interstate commerce [of] a communication containing a threat to kidnap any person or threat to injure the person of another,” according to a criminal complaint. FBI Arrests Self-Proclaimed ‘Hardcore Leftist’ Who Allegedly Threatened Violence at State Capitol

By Washington Examiner. Federal law enforcement officials arrested a self-proclaimed “hardcore leftist” who had reportedly made a series of calls for violence ahead of President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration. . .

He had purportedly issued calls for people to confront any protesters who would gather at the state capitol on Sunday with violence, specifically mentioning firearms.

Baker, who apparently had a history of expressing his belief in violent tactics, had reputedly ramped up his rhetoric on social media in recent weeks. The former U.S. Army Airborne infantryman promoted his plan to disrupt protests violently before Biden gets sworn into office, according to the Justice Department.

A lengthy criminal affidavit written by an FBI special agent detailed some of the threats allegedly made by Baker in the wake of the Capitol siege that left five dead, including a Capitol police officer, and had led to dozens of arrests, with Baker expressing anger toward the police as well as toward Trump supporters.

A Facebook event page created by Baker on Tuesday titled “Defend Tallahassee” laid out an apparent plan by Baker to try to confront, encircle, and trap any pro-Trump activists who showed up to protest at the Florida Capitol on Sunday. WATCH: House Chaplain Casts out Demons During Morning Prayer in Capitol Building

By Townhall. Reverend Patrick Conroy serves as the House of Representatives Chaplain in Washington, D.C. and regularly starts the day off for lawmakers with prayer. Thursday’s invocation was a little more serious than most days for Rev. Conroy. The Roman Catholic Priest prayed specifically to cast out the demons inside Capitol Hill.

As reported by Fox News, Rev. Conroy said, “This has been a difficult and contentious week in which darker spirits seem to have been at play in the people’s House.”

Then, in a dramatic moment, Conroy raised both hands and said, ‘In Your most holy name, I cast out all spirits of darkness from this chamber. Spirits not from You. I cast out the spirit of discouragement which deadens the hope of those who are of goodwill.'”

“I cast out the spirit of petty divisiveness which clouds the sense and the desire to be of fruitful productivity and addressing the issues more appropriately before this House,” he prayed. “I cast out any sadness brought on by the frustration of dealing with matters detrimental to the honorable work each member has been called to engage in.” (Read more from “House Chaplain Casts out Demons During Morning Prayer in Capitol Building” HERE)

House Chaplain Prays to Cast ‘Spirits of Darkness’ From Congress

By CNN. . .In a brief interview afterward, Conroy said the echo was intentional. But he added that his prayer, which he wrote himself, was more inspired by traditional blessings for homes or other buildings.

“Anoint your servants here in the House with a healing balm to comfort and renew the souls of all in this assembly,” Conroy prayed. “May your spirit of wisdom and patience descend upon all so that any spirit of darkness might have no place in our midst.”

The idea for the prayer came to him, the chaplain said, after Tuesday’s contentious House vote to condemn as racist President Donald Trump’s tweets telling four Democrat congresswomen to “go back” to their home countries. Three were born in the United States, the fourth is a naturalized citizen.

“I was on the House floor on Tuesday,” Conroy told CNN, “and to me, it felt different than other days. It felt like there was something going on beyond just political disagreement. The energy of the House was very off. No one was relishing what was happening.” (Read more from “House Chaplain Prays to Cast ‘Spirits of Darkness’ From Congress” HERE)
