Former Government Employee Charged With Falsely Accusing Coworkers of Participating in Jan. 6 Capitol Attack

A former government employee with ties to federal intelligence agencies was arrested in Virginia Thursday and accused of sending fake tips to the FBI in which he falsely accused multiple coworkers of taking part in the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol breach, newly unsealed court documents revealed.

Investigators alleged in court records that Miguel Zapata anonymously submitted information about seven individuals with whom he had once worked in the months after the attack, writing that they “espoused conspiracy theories” and “took part in the insurrection.”

According to prosecutors, between February and April 2021, Zapata allegedly concocted fake stories about his former coworkers’ involvement in the events of Jan. 6 and submitted them via the FBI’s anonymous tip line that has been used to gather information following the Capitol breach. Over 1,300 individuals have so far been charged for their alleged involvement.

“These tips variously alleged that the government employees and contractors were physically present at or involved in the attack at the Capitol or had shared classified information with individuals and groups present at the riot with the intent to assist these groups in overthrowing the United States government,” charging documents said.

Zapata is accused of sending the home addresses, full names, and security clearance levels of his former colleagues to the FBI, which prompted the FBI and some of the victims’ employers to launch investigations into their alleged conduct based on the faulty information. CIA Preparing for ‘Infinite Race’ on Tech, AI in Face of China Challenge

The CIA is preparing for an “infinite race” with China for artificial intelligence and top technology, making getting the best tools a leading priority for America’s spies.

CIA Director William J. Burns has made a giant pivot toward making technology a major intelligence objective, said Nand Mulchandani, the agency’s chief technology officer.

In remarks to the Hill & Valley Forum’s gathering of top technology and government officials in Washington this week, Mr. Mulchandani said the CIA is “all in” on AI for offense, defense and more. He said the CIA is building its own large language models, which are sophisticated algorithms that make generative AI tools work.

“We’re looking at transforming every single part of what the agency does, from operations to the analytic function, support functions and other pieces there,” Mr. Mulchandani said. “We don’t think there’s anything more important than this.”

Mr. Mulchandani said the spy agency is working to outcompete China while “fighting across every single one of these emerging tech areas,” which he identified as AI, biotechnology, space technology, quantum technology and telecommunications. A former employee of one of the Kyiv troll factories owned by the head of Zelensky’s office, Andriy Yermak, spoke about how the interference in the upcoming American elections is taking place in Ukraine with the help of the CIA. According to the source, the purpose of the interference is to ensure Biden’s victory over Trump. A former employee showed a video taken inside a troll factory, as well as several photos, guidelines and a list of accounts that trolls use to influence the American voters.

“Long story short we were asked to do everything to prevent Donald Trump from winning the elections. So basically, this topic was added to our main lines of work.

Since then, each of us had to post at least 3 to 5 posts daily posing as the Americas and Europeans, criticizing Donald Trump and praising Biden.

The Americans have even organized a few lectures for us to get a better understanding of American politics, the American mindset the main social and political issues.

Then we were occupied with the topics for the job which sounded like this:

1.Unlike Trump, Biden is a smart and experienced politician.

2. Unlike Trump, Biden will never betray NATO partners. Trump will alienate our partners.

3. Biden will not abandon Ukraine. Biden will protect democracy, while Trump is Putin’s puppet.

I honestly tried to convince myself it’s Okay since Biden is clearly a better option for Ukraine, but it was just too much for me… One thing is to work for the best interests of my country, but interfering in US politics is a whole other thing.”

Speaking to MVS Noticias with Luis Cárdenas, journalist Óscar Balmen claimed he was told by an FBI source that El Chapo’s sons, known as Los Chapitos, were involved in Young’s arrest.

He said: “As for El Chapo’s sons, they knew that an American fugitive was hiding in one of their strongholds. They decided they would score points with the FBI and hand him over as a goodwill offering.

The sons of infamous drug lord Joaquín ‘El Chapo’ Guzmán reportedly caught a wanted FBI fugitive and handed him over as a “goodwill offering”.

David DeWayne Young, known as Khaos, was wanted as part of a massive drug conspiracy case. He is allegedly a member of the Ghostface Gangsters Gang, a whites-only organised crime group that emerged from a jail in Georgia, US, in the early 2000s.

Young was arrested in Hermosillo, Mexico, in March this year in a joint effort between the FBI and Mexican law enforcement. House Republicans Investigate CIA Interference in Hunter Biden Investigation

House Republicans are demanding answers from the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) after a whistleblower came forward with allegations of agency interference to thwart investigations into Hunter Biden.

On Thursday, the GOP chairmen of the House Oversight and Judiciary Committees sent CIA Director William Burns a letter seeking records related to claims the CIA acted with the Department of Justice to protect President Joe Biden and his son.

“The information we recently received from the whistleblower seems to corroborate our concerns about DOJ’s deviations from standard process to provide Hunter Biden with preferential treatment,” lawmakers wrote. “According to the whistleblower, in August 2021, when IRS investigators were preparing to interview Patrick Kevin Morris, an associate of Hunter Biden, the CIA intervened to stop the interview.”

“Two DOJ officials were allegedly summoned to CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia for a briefing regarding Mr. Morris,” lawmakers added. “At that meeting, it was communicated that Mr. Morris could not be a witness during the investigation.”

Text Messages Show CIA Deployed Personnel Domestically to Capitol January 6, 2021

By Breitbart. The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) deployed personnel to the United States Capitol on January 6, 2021, text messages recently obtained by Judicial Watch via Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) show.

The CIA is generally prohibited from spying on American citizens — leaving that job to the FBI. In fact, the FBI’s website states: “The CIA collects information only regarding foreign countries and their citizens. Unlike the FBI, it is prohibited from collecting information regarding ‘U.S. Persons,’ a term that includes U.S. citizens, resident aliens, legal immigrants, and U.S. corporations, regardless of where they are located.”

However, the text messages obtained by Judicial Watch showed that “several” teams were deployed to the Capitol on January 6, 2021. After Judicial Watch sued the Justice Department for not responding to a FOIA request, the DOJ handed over documents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) that included the text messages.

The text messages were under the heading: “January 7 Intel Chain.”

One series of text messages said “two CIA bomb techs” are assisting with “a pipe bomb scene on New Jersey and D ST SE.” The location is where two pipebombs were allegedly left at the Republican National Committee and Democratic National Committee headquarters.

By American Military News. A government watchdog group announced Wednesday that it obtained new records showing that the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) deployed personnel to Washington, D.C., during the Capitol Hill protest on January 6, 2021. . .

According to Judicial Watch, the disclosure of the CIA’s involvement in the federal government’s response to the Capitol Hill protest was forced by a Judicial Watch lawsuit after the Justice Department refused to grant a FOIA request for records and communications pertaining to the reports of shots being fired inside the Capitol. . .

In a video posted on social media, Fitton explained that the recent disclosure of the CIA’s involvement in the response to the storming of the U.S. Capitol on January 6 raises many questions.

“First of all, why did it take Judicial Watch heavy lifting in federal court to get access to these documents after all these years?” Fitton asked. “Why didn’t the Pelosi January 6 Committee, even as corrupt as it was, not disclose the CIA involvement? What was the CIA involved for? Were they investigating foreign intelligence operations? Were they investigating American citizens? What else have they done related to January 6?”

Report: CIA Started Russia Collusion Hoax By Asking Foreign Governments To Spy On Trump Campaign

The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) set off the Russian collusion hoax in 2016 when U.S. intelligence officials recruited foreign governments to spy on Democrats’ American political opponents. On Tuesday, Substack publications Public and Racket revealed new details about the origins of the Spygate hoax the U.S. federal government perpetrated on the Donald Trump presidential campaign.

“Multiple credible sources tell Public and Racket that the United States Intelligence Community (IC), including the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), illegally mobilized foreign intelligence agencies to target Trump advisors long before the summer of 2016,” the publications reported. “The US [intelligence community] asked the ‘Five Eyes’ intelligence alliance to surveil Trump’s associates and share the intelligence they acquired with US agencies, say sources close to a House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HSPCI) investigation.”

The “Five Eyes” alliance refers to the global intelligence apparatus that includes the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom.

“After Public and Racket had been told that President Barack Obama’s CIA Director, John Brennan, had identified 26 Trump associates for the Five Eyes to target, a source confirmed that the [intelligence community] had ‘identified [them] as people to “bump,” or make contact with or manipulate. They were targets of our own IC and law enforcement — targets for collection and misinformation,’” the Substacks reported. “Unknown details about the FBI’s investigation of the Trump campaign and raw intelligence related to the IC’s surveillance of the Trump campaign are in a 10-inch binder that Trump ordered to be declassified at the very end of his term, sources told Public and Racket.”

Former CIA Employee Sentenced to 40 Years Behind Bars for Largest Data Leak in Agency’s History

A former CIA employee has been sentenced to 40 years behind bars after executing the largest data leak in the agency’s history. The employee worked for the CIA from 2012 to 2016 as a software engineer in the Center for Cyber Intelligence, according to a report released by the U.S. Attorney’s Office of the Southern District of New York.

Joshua Schulte, 35, was previously accused of releasing classified data to Wikileaks in 2016 and was subsequently convicted in 2022 of illegally gathering and transmitting national defense information and obstructing a criminal investigation and grand jury proceeding.

USA Today reported that Schulte was convicted of espionage, child pornography, computer hacking, contempt of court, and making false statements to the FBI in separate trials. Schulte’s sentencing took place in New York federal court after three trials that concluded on March 9, 2020, July 13, 2022, and September 12, 2023, according to federal records.

U.S. Attorney Damian Williams said, “Joshua Schulte betrayed his country by committing some of the most brazen, heinous crimes of espionage in American history.”

“He caused untold damage to our national security in his quest for revenge against the CIA for its response to Schulte’s security breaches while employed there,” Williams continued. Ex-CIA Analyst Describes ‘Fundamental Change’ Taking Place in the Agency Due to Policies ‘Implemented by Obama’

Former Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) analyst Dr. John Gentry detailed Tuesday the “fundamental change” taking place at the agency due to former Obama-era policies.

Gentry appeared on “Jesse Watters Primetime” to discuss the difference he sees within the agency now compared to when he was working. Fox Host Jesse Watters asked the former analyst to describe “how the agency uses DEI” to deceive the public.

Gentry stated the diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) policies implemented by former President Barack Obama in 2011 have been “accelerated” by the Biden administration to “hire people” based on personal common interests.

“Well, it’s using DEI policies, particularly that implemented by President Obama in 2011. And again, accelerated really in the Biden years, to hire people who, as you say, are more likely to be interested in the kinds of policies that you’re talking about,” Gentry stated.

“What they’ve done also is make a conscious effort to change the organizational culture of the CIA.
