Study Shows Remdesivir as Primary COVID Treatment Is a Total Bust

16 months into this virus, our government has nothing to offer us in terms of treatment in the hospital but remdesivir at $3,100 a dose and zero treatment options at the critical early stage, when serious complications can be pre-empted. Now, a new study from the University of Iowa shows what we knew all along – that remdesivir failed to reduce mortality one iota. Why are we to believe the same government entities about embracing the clot shots and shunning so many other cheaper and effective treatments after spending billions and losing countless lives on a failed drug?

After 62 studies, 32 of them randomized controlled trials, establishing ivermectin as an effective treatment and an even more effective preventative to keep people out of the hospital in the first place, our government refuses to endorse its use and Big Tech continues to censor it. They claim they need more studies. Yet not a single randomized controlled trial showed remdesivir to be effective before they dove in headfirst and the NIH made it the only approved antiviral treatment for COVID. Now, a University of Iowa study published in JAMA Network Open on Thursday has shown that remdesivir was a complete bust.

Among the 2,334 U.S. veterans studied in 124 hospitals, a higher share of remdesivir patients (12.2 percent) who took part in the study died than patients in the control group (10.6 percent). Moreover, on average, remdesivir patients spent six days in the hospital, while control group patients spent only three.

Previously, last October, the World Health Organization found that use of remdesivir in 11,000 patients across 400 hospitals in the world failed to lower the mortality rate or truncate time of stay in the hospital. Zoo Animals Are Receiving COVID-19 Vaccines

A growing number of zoos across the country have ordered specially designed COVID-19 vaccines for higher-risk animal species with the most interaction with human visitors, such as great apes and big cats.

The animal health company Zoetis has developed a two-dose vaccine specially formulated for animal use to “help protect the health and well-being of more than 100 mammalian species,” said Christina Lood, communications director at Zoetis.

“What is known is that mammals are susceptible to [COVID-19] to varying degrees — not reptiles or avian species for example. The zoo veterinarians use their own risk assessments to determine which mammals in their care should be vaccinated. … Plus they might consider whether certain animals are rare or endangered,” Lood told the Washington Examiner.

The Cincinnati Zoo and the Akron Zoo in Ohio as well as the Denver Zoo in Colorado, among others, will receive portions of 11,000 donated doses of the vaccines to administer to a handful of animals. The Denver Zoo will administer the first round of shots to some gorillas, lions, and tigers, which have the highest likelihood of getting sick from the coronavirus. Actor: Pandemic Felt Like Trump ‘Gunning Down’ People from ‘Turret at the White House’

Actor and activist Sean Penn declared the Trump administration’s coronavirus policies were no better than “gunning down” vulnerable communities “from a turret at the White House” at the Cannes Film Festival.

Speaking at the French film festival about his new film, Flag Day, Penn told the media of his efforts to continue observing coronavirus protocols as he filmed the movie. He also spoke about his efforts to sponsor vaccination and testing facilities in underserved communities.

Penn slammed officials who pushed what he deemed to be “misinformation,” and the actor and director had particularly harsh words for the Trump administration.

“We were — not only as a country but as a world – let down and openly neglected, misinformed. We had truth and reason assaulted under what was in all terms an obscene administration,” he exclaimed.

New Studies: Here Are a Child’s Chances of Surviving COVID-19

Children are at extremely slim risk of dying from Covid-19, according to some of the most comprehensive studies to date, which indicate the threat might be even lower than previously thought.

Some 99.995% of the 469,982 children in England who were infected during the year examined by researchers survived, one study found.

In fact, there were fewer deaths among children due to the virus than initially suspected. Among the 61 child deaths linked to a positive Covid-19 test in England, 25 were actually caused by the illness, the study found.

The three studies, by researchers in the U.K. reviewing its national health system’s medical records or pulling together data from other countries, were published on preprint servers Thursday. Even Democrats Believe COVID-19 Originated In Wuhan Lab

A majority of people, now including a slim majority of Democrats too, believe the coronavirus most likely originated in a Wuhan laboratory rather than from nature, a new poll shows, indicating a shift in public opinion since early in the pandemic as China continues to block a truly independent and thorough inquiry into COVID-19’s origins.

The new poll from Harvard University and Politico found that 52% of people in the United States, including 59% of Republicans and 52% of Democrats, believe the coronavirus emerged from a Wuhan lab, while just 28% of adults say COVID-19 began with an infected animal.

“Usually, our polls find a big split between Republicans and Democrats, so this is unique,” Bob Blendon, a professor at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health who designed the poll, told Politico. “More conservative media have been carrying the ‘lab leak’ issue, and it’s been a Trump talking point from the beginning, so we expected people who lean Democratic would say either ‘It’s not true’ or ‘I don’t know.’ But the belief is bipartisan.”

The new poll, which surveyed 1,009 adults in late June and has a margin of error of 3.8 percentage points, will be released next week. It also reportedly found that “almost two-thirds of Democrats and Republicans” called the issue of investigating COVID-19’s origin either “extremely” or “very” important.

Freedom! NYers Celebrate End Of COVID-19 Lockdowns On July Fourth (VIDEO)

New Yorkers declared their independence from the COVID-19 crisis on Sunday by heading to beaches, parks and prime spots for watching fireworks — free of the lockdowns, social distancing and masks that wrecked last year’s July Fourth.

In Manhattan, city dwellers and out-of-towners alike arrived early to get onto the FDR for the pyrotechnics set to start at 9:30 p.m.

“It’s on my bucket list, watching the Fourth of July fireworks in New York City,” said Kathy Gaherty, 63, of Connecticut.

“I got here around 12:30 p.m. I’ve been exposed to so much and there are so many things I want to do before I die.”

Gaherty — a retired paralegal who wore a red, white and blue hat, scarf and shoes emblazoned with “USA” — said she previously “watched the fireworks live on TV.”

Report: ‘The Science’ Doesn’t Support Masks for Children

Those mask mandates imposed for the COVID pandemic could be hurting kids, and the vaccines could be killing them, according to a new Just the News report that cites several medical journals and studies.

“Measured carbon dioxide content in ‘inhaled air,’ observed in a study of masked German schoolchildren, was at least three-fold higher than German law allows, according to a research letter published this week in the Journal of the American Medical Association Pediatrics,” the report said. And, “Last week, the journal Vaccines, affiliated with the American Society for Virology, published research that estimates every three COVID-19 deaths prevented by vaccination are offset by two deaths ‘inflicted by vaccination,’ using Israeli and European data.”

Masks and vaccines — and lockdowns — have been among America’s main responses to the virus that likely originated with a Chinese lab in Wuhan that works with the Chinese Communist Party’s military.

Those defensive strategies were adopted over treatments with ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine that some studies have suggested are effective against the virus.

The Just the News report cited the work of Harald Walach, the lead author of both studies, who is a professor Poznan University of the Medical Sciences’ Pediatric Clinic in Poland and University of Witten/Herdecke’s psychology department in Germany. Judge Including Mandatory Coronavirus Vaccine in Terms of Probation

Common Pleas Judge Richard Frye of Ohio’s Franklin County has been including mandatory coronavirus vaccines in the terms of defendants’ respective probations, attaching the stipulation to three of his recent cases.

“It occurred to me that at least some of these folks need to be encouraged not to procrastinate,” Frye said, according to the Columbus Dispatch, which said the judge openly discussed vaccination statuses with the defendants.

According to reports, none of the defendants cited religious, moral, or medical reasons for not yet getting the vaccine.

“I think it’s a reasonable condition when we’re telling people to get employed and be out in the community,” Frye added.

One of the defendants who received the condition, Cameron Stringer, “entered a guilty plea for one charge of improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle, for which he was sentenced to two years of probation,” per the Dispatch. Thousands of Vaccinated People Hospitalized or Dead Due to COVID ‘Breakthrough’ Cases

The latest figures from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reveal more than 4,000 people who have been vaccinated against COVID-19 have died or been hospitalized from “breakthrough” infections.

The exact number is 4,115 either hospitalized or dead despite being fully inoculated.

The CDC says the number of people who have died from COVID-19 after getting the shot is 750, with 76 percent of deaths and hospitalizations among folks over the age of 65.

“As of June 21, 2021, more than 150 million people in the United States had been fully vaccinated against COVID-19,” the health agency explained.

Ultimate Woke Fail: Lockdowns Hurt Minorities Most

Coronavirus lockdowns hurt young people of color between the ages of 20-24 the most, according to a report from the Center for Economic and Policy Research (CEPR).

In the first three months of 2021, about 3.81 million people in that age bracket were not in work or school, a 740,000 (24 percent) increase compared to the same time last year, according to the report.

When broken down by race and ethnicity, the Not in Education, Employment, or Training (NEET) rate shows even greater disparities.

The NEET rate for all 20- to 24-year-olds increased from 14.7 percent to 18.3 percent between last year and this year. For black young people, the percentage grew from 20.9 percent to 24.8 percent. For Hispanics, it was 16.2 percent to 19.7 percent, and for white people, it was 12.8 percent to 15.9 percent.

“About one-in-four Black 20- to 24-year-olds were neither in school nor working during the first quarter of 2021 compared to about one-in-five Hispanics and one-in-six whites,” the report states. (Read more from “Ultimate Woke Fail: Lockdowns Hurt Minorities Most” HERE)
