President Donald Trump encouraged his followers who are hesitant getting the coronavirus vaccine to go ahead and get the vaccine because it is safe and effective.

“I would recommend it,” Trump said during an interview on Fox News. “And I would recommend it to a lot of people that don’t want to get it and a lot of those people voted for me, frankly. But again, we have our freedoms and we have to live by that and I agree with that also. But it is a great vaccine. It is a safe vaccine and it is something that works.”

Trump made the remarks after Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said on Sunday that it would be huge if Trump came out and encouraged people to take the vaccine. (Read more from “Donald Trump Endorses COVID Vaccine” HERE)

Ammon Bundy Arrested after Refusing to Wear Mask in Court

. . .Ammon Bundy was arrested in Idaho on Monday after he refused to wear a mask in court, thus preventing him from entering and making him a no-show for his own trial, officials said.

Ammon Bundy was due in a Boise courtroom at 8:15 a.m. for the beginning of his trial on misdemeanor trespassing and resisting arrest charges stemming from an August incident at the Idaho Statehouse.

For nearly a year now, the Idaho Supreme Court has required masks for entry into any courthouses in the state.

“Mr. Bundy today refused to wear a mask to come into the courthouse and thus was not granted admission,” Steven Hippler, administrative judge for the Fourth Judicial District, told NBC News.

Major Nations Suspend COVID-19 Vaccine

Amid reports of dangerous blood clots in some recipients, Germany, France, Italy and Spain became the latest nations to suspend use of AstraZeneca’s COVID-19 vaccine. . .

AstraZeneca argues there have been 37 reports of blood clots out of more than 17 million people vaccinated in the European Union and Britain.

However, 54,571 adverse events have been reported in Europe in association with the AstraZeneca vaccine, including at least 198 deaths.

Nearly double that number, 102,100, are associated with the Pfizer mRNA vaccine, including at least 957 deaths, notes Alex Berenson, a former New York Times reporter who has devoted the past year to studying and reporting on the pandemic.

Biden Administration Misses Its Own Deadline for Mask Standards

The Biden administration missed its self-imposed deadline to issue temporary mask standards for workplaces as the Occupational Safety and Health Administration tries to determine whether an emergency order is needed to protect workers from the coronavirus, according to a report.

President Biden in an executive order on Jan. 21 directed the government “consider whether any emergency temporary standards on COVID-19, including with respect to masks in the workplace, are necessary, and if such standards are determined to be necessary, issue them by March 15, 2021.”

But no standard was issued Monday, Fox News reported.

White House press secretary Jen Psaki acknowledged that the administration has blown the deadline, but she said OSHA has yet to make a determination as she responded to a question about whether the regulation would harm businesses already struggling to survive. U.S. Clinic Gave Out Empty COVID Shots

A Virginia vaccine clinic mistakenly gave out what they believed were COVID-19 shots to patients — but were actually empty syringes.

The mishap occurred when a worker incorrectly assumed that another colleague had filled the syringes before the appointments Monday at a Kroger clinic in Midlothian, news station WRIC reported.

“Less than 10” people got an empty shot instead of the vaccine, a Kroger spokesperson told the outlet.

The grocery store chain, which has administered more than 830,00 shots across the country, apologized for the mistake.

California Cut This Restaurant’s Power, So the Owner Brought a Generator to Continue Business

A Los Angeles County court authorized the City of Burbank to disconnect electricity powering a restaurant that refused to shut down in compliance with extreme pandemic-related restrictions.

Tinhorn Flats refused to abide by a temporary restraining order issued March 8 that required the restaurant to remain closed because the restaurant violated COVID-19 restrictions, KTTV-TV reported. . .

Despite having no power, the restaurant has continued operations undeterred.

“The owner says they will continue to stay open and are currently using a generator as a power source,” KTTV reported.

Boxing Legend Dies after Getting COVID Vaccine

Boxing legend Marvelous Marvin Hagler died at the age of 66 Saturday night, and an online battle has erupted over reports his death was a direct result of getting “the vaccine.”

Hours before the undisputed middleweight champion died, his fellow boxing great Thomas “Hit Man” Hearns noted Hagler was “fighting the after effects of the vaccine” before the former undisputed middleweight ultimately passed away.

Hearns’ full message on Instagram stated: “A real true warrior Pray for the king and his family.. he’s in ICU fighting the after effects of the vaccine! He’ll be just fine but we could use the positive energy and Prayer for his Full Recovery !”

A few hours after that prayer request, Hagler’s wife Kay announced her husband’s demise on Facebook, without mentioning the cause of death.

“I am sorry to make a very sad announcement. Today unfortunately my beloved husband Marvelous Marvin passed away unexpectedly at his home here in New Hampshire. Our family requests that you respect our privacy during this difficult time,” she wrote.

People Hospitalized for ‘Unusual Symptoms’ After Taking New COVID Vaccine

Three Norwegian health care workers have been hospitalized after receiving the newly-unveiled single-dose AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine, authorities have announced, which has led to a temporary suspension of giving out the shot.

Reuters reported that the workers experienced issues relating to blood clots and other vascular issues. Norwegian authorities did not say how long the distribution of the vaccine would be halted as those people remain hospitalized. . .

COVID Restrictions Had No Effect On Case Rates

Nearly a year after California Gov. Gavin Newsom ordered the nation’s first statewide shut down because of the coronavirus, masks remain mandated, indoor dining and other activities are significantly limited, and Disneyland remains closed.

By contrast, Florida has no statewide restrictions. Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis has prohibited municipalities from fining people who refuse to wear masks. And Disney World has been open since July.

Despite their differing approaches, California and Florida have experienced almost identical outcomes in COVID-19 case rates. . .

California and Florida both have a COVID-19 case rate of around 8,900 per 100,000 residents since the pandemic began, according to the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. And both rank in the middle among states for COVID-19 death rates—Florida was 27th as of Friday; California was 28th.

Connecticut and South Dakota are other examples. Both rank among the 10 worst states for COVID-19 death rates. Yet Connecticut Gov. Ned Lamont, a Democrat, imposed numerous statewide restrictions over the past year after an early surge in deaths, while South Dakota Gov. Biden: Obey Dr. Fauci or You’ll Be Locked Down Past July 4; Healthy Mom Dies After Second Vaccine Dose

By The Federalist. President Joe Biden threatened Americans to obey Dr. Anthony Fauci’s pandemic edicts Thursday in a prime-time address on the one-year anniversary of the first coronavirus lockdowns.

“We need everyone to get vaccinated. We need everyone to keep washing their hands. We need everyone to keep wearing the mask,” Biden said from the White House, after telling the American people if they follow Dr. Anthony Fauci’s orders, they might get to spend the 4th of July holiday with their friends and neighbors. But, Biden maintained, “that doesn’t mean large events.”

No guarantees were offered for re-opening even as the president pledged every American adult would be eligible for a coronavirus vaccine by May 1.

Utah Mom Dies Four Days After 2nd Dose of Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine

By KRON 4. An autopsy has been ordered after a Utah mom died just four days after receiving the second dose of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine, KUTV reports.

Kassidi Kurill, mother of one, got the vaccine due to her work as a surgical technician for several plastic surgeons, the local news outlet reports. . .

According to Kurill’s father, her arm was sore after the first shot and she experienced no other side effects, but it was when she received her second dose things went wrong.

Kurill landed in the ER, where “she was very, very sick, and her liver was not functioning,” Hawley told KUTV. . .
