Biden Heads to Beach After Shattering All-Time Record With 83,000 Illegal Aliens Storming Border in 1 Week

President Joe Biden will reportedly spend his weekend at his beach home in Delaware — which is guarded by a taxpayer-funded wall — after forcing immigration officials to work on weekends to deal with the illegal immigration crisis that his policies have caused.

The crisis on southern border has erupted into a full-blown humanitarian and national security crisis as more illegal aliens stormed the southern border this week than any other week in U.S. history.

“Border Patrol reports a record setting 83,000 migrants crossed our border illegally this week alone. Just to put that number in perspective for you, that is equivalent to a full capacity Dallas Cowboys football stadium crossing our border in a single week,” Fox News correspondent Bill Melugin reported.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said during Friday’s press conference that the 80-year-old president will enjoy a leisurely weekend at his beach home.

“Tomorrow morning, the president will travel to Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C., to deliver the 2023 Howard University Commencement Address,” she said. “The president will then travel to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, where he and the first lady will remain over the weekend.” (Read more from “Biden Heads to Beach After Shattering All-Time Record With 83,000 Illegal Aliens Storming Border in 1 Week” HERE)

Are Taxpayers Funding Natalie Biden’s Spring Break Trip to San Diego? (VIDEO)

President Biden is known to spend time with his extended family (except for Hunter Biden’s illegitimate child — you know, the one the President and First Lady still refuse to acknowledge) during his frequent long-weekend trips to his properties in Delaware. How nice.

The president also, from time to time, has brought his children and grandchildren along with him on official travel. Such is the case this week as President Biden jets off to San Diego, California, to join Prime Minister Anthony Albanese of Australia and U.K. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak of the United Kingdom to finalize the AUKUS partnership and participate in a DNC reception.

On this trip, Biden brought along his granddaughter Natalie Biden, the eldest daughter of the president’s late son Beau. This we learned during a gaggle held by White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre aboard Air Force One on the way from Washington to San Diego. . .

How nice for Natalie to have a spring break trip to San Diego aboard Air Force One. But that raised a follow-up question: When members of Biden’s extended family accompany him on official travel, does the president or a member of his family reimburse the federal government — taxpayers, that is — for his family members’ travel expenses?

“That’s a good question,” Jean-Pierre responded. She did not, however, have a good answer.

State Apologizes for ‘Fat-Shaming’ To Encourage Vaccination

The Delaware Division of Public Health has issued an apology for a vaccination memo that some people believed was fat-shaming to encourage vaccination.

WBOC-TV reports that Delaware’s health department issued an apology following the controversy spurned on by the ad.

The since-deleted ad — which was shared to the department’s Facebook page — read, “Remember when you gained 10 pounds from stress eating? … You would have to run five miles a day for a week just to lose one pound of fat.”

The ad continued, “#GettingVaccinated sounds a lot easier. Protect yourself and those you love from the #Delta variant. #VaxxUpDE.” Following outcry, the agency pulled the ad from its social media page and issued an apology. . .

In a statement, a spokesperson for the agency said, “We have updated an early post promoting vaccination. We understand some were offended by the post and we sincerely apologize for our word choice. It was not intentional. DPH supports all activities that contribute to a healthy lifestyle including exercise, eating well and getting recommended vaccinations.” (Read more from “State Apologizes for ‘Fat-Shaming’ To Encourage Vaccination” HERE)

Delaware: 11th State to Legalize Gay Marriage

Photo Credit: joseanavasBy a slim margin, a divided Delaware state Senate voted Tuesday to make their state the 11th in the nation to allow same-sex marriage.

The Senate’s 12-9 vote sends the bill to Democratic Gov. Jack Markell, who supports the measure and planned to sign it later in the day. It would go into effect July 1. “I think this is the right thing for Delaware,” the governor said after the vote, while posing for pictures with supporters outside his legislative office. “It took an incredible team effort.”

Gay rights activists and their supporters in the chamber erupted in cheers and applause following the Senate vote. Delaware’s same-sex marriage bill was introduced in the Democrat-controlled legislature last month, barely a year after the state began recognizing same-sex civil unions. The bill won passage two weeks ago in the state House on a 23-18 vote.

While it doesn’t give same-sex couples any more rights or benefits under Delaware law than those they have in civil unions, supporters argued same-sex couples deserve the dignity and respect of married couples. They also noted that if the U.S. Supreme Court strikes down the Defense of Marriage Act, which bars married gay couples from receiving federal benefits, civil unions would not provide protections or tax benefits under federal law to same-sex couples in Delaware.

Opponents, including scores of conservative religious leaders from across the state, argued same-sex marriage redefines and destroys a centuries-old institution that is a building block of society.

Delaware: 1st State in US to Jail Parents Who Spank

Delaware has become the first state in the US to effectively outlaw corporal discipline of children by their parents. Gov. Jack Markell signed Senate Bill 234 into law on September 12.

The legislation, sponsored by Senate Majority Leader Patricia M. Blevins, redefines the term “physical injury” in the child abuse and neglect laws to broadly include any act that causes “pain.”

“This bill establishes the offense of Child Abuse,” the legislation states. “These new statutes combine current statutes and redefine physical injury and serious physical injury to reflect the medical realities of pain and impairment suffered by children.”

Under the new law, a parent causing “physical injury” (e.g., pain) to a child under age 18 would be guilty of a class A misdemeanor and subject to one year in prison. A parent causing pain to a child who was three years of age or younger would be guilty of a class G felony and subject to two years in prison.

The Home School Legal Defense Association (HSLDA), along with the Delaware Home Education Association and the Delaware Family Policy Council, opposed the legislation, saying the bill was “a violation of the right of parents to direct the upbringing of their children, including the long-recognized right to administer reasonable corporal discipline.”
