WATCH: Democratic Debate Turns Into Schoolyard Screaming Match

By NY Post. The South Carolina presidential Democratic debate quickly devolved into a scrappy schoolyard screaming match on Tuesday night — all of the candidates furiously talking over each other as the CBS moderators seemed helpless to do anything about it.

CBS News moderators Gayle King and Norah O’Donnell struggled to keep the unruly seven candidates in line as they rushed to attack Bernie Sanders who they now realize is on an unstoppable march to the nomination.

At one point, all of the candidates were wildly flapping their hands and yelling over each other before former veep Joe Biden chastised their on-stage decorum.

“I guess the only way to do this is jump in and speak twice as long as you should,” Biden said as ex South Bend-mayor Pete Buttigieg went on a long sermon about how Sanders would cost Democrats the House majority, a statistic based on polling conducted by Bloomberg’s campaign. Dems Pummel Sanders on Communism, Spending at SC Debate Ahead of Key Primaries

By Fox News. Bernie Sanders faced sustained attacks from all sides in Tuesday night’s rowdy Democratic debate, as the self-described democratic socialist, now the race’s undisputed frontrunner, parried multiple claims that his sweeping plans were little more than an expensive path to a “catastrophic,” Corbyn-esque downballot rout for Democrats in November.

The forum, coming ahead of Saturday’s primary in South Carolina and next week’s pivotal Super Tuesday contests, was easily the most contentious of the primary season to date, as candidates frequently sparred with the moderators and ripped into each other on spending, foreign policy, and more. Fears have spread among the remaining candidates and establishment Democrats that Sanders, fresh off wins in several states, could soon be unstoppable.

Seconds into the event, Sanders downplayed historic-low unemployment numbers by arguing that the economy was only going well for “people like” former New York Mayor Mike Bloomberg — prompting Bloomberg to quickly bring up recent reports that Russia is working to help Sanders’ campaign.

“I think that Donald Trump thinks it would be better if he’s president — I do not think so,” Bloomberg said. “Vladimir Putin thinks that Donald Trump should be president of the United States. And that’s why Russia is helping you get elected, so you’ll lose to him.”

Sanders shot back by referencing Bloomberg’s support for Chinese President Xi Jinping. Sanders, later on, also insisted that he condemned “authoritarians” and claimed that his recent praise for Fidel Castro’s literacy programs was similar to former President Barack Obama’s previous remarks — drawing a sharp rebuke from both former Vice President Joe Biden and former mayor of South Bend, Indiana Pete Buttigieg.

WATCH: Only One Dem at Debate Would Pull All U.S. Troops out of the Middle East; Did Sanders Diss Women?; Biden, Sanders Clash Over Iraq War

By Daily Caller. Massachusetts Democratic Sen. Elizabeth Warren was the only 2020 primary candidate at CNN’s Tuesday night debate who supported a full withdrawal of U.S. combat troops from the Middle East.

“I think we need to get our combat troops out,” Warren told moderator Wolf Blitzer when asked if the U.S. should withdraw from the region. “We have to stop this mindset that we can do everything with combat troops.”

“Our military is the finest military on Earth. And they will take any sacrifice we ask them to take, but we should stop asking our military to solve problems that cannot be solved militarily.”

“Our keeping combat troops there is not helping,” she continued. “We need to work with our allies. We need to use our economic tools. We need to use our diplomatic tools.”

Warren criticized some of her fellow candidates, and South Carolina Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham in particular, for talking about “leaving troops there for a hundred more years.” (Read more from “Only One Democrat at the Debate Said They Would Pull All U.S. Troops out of the Middle East” HERE)

Feisty Sanders Clashes With Biden, Warren – and the Moderators – at Last-Chance Iowa Debate

By Fox News. The final Democratic presidential debate before the pivotal Feb. 3 Iowa caucuses erupted Tuesday night, as Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren sparred over the disputed reports that Sanders had privately told Warren in December 2018 that a woman could not realistically become president.

“Well as a matter of fact I didn’t say it,” Sanders insisted, when one of the debate’s moderators asserted the conversation had occurred.

“That is correct,” he flatly said later, when asked whether he was still unequivocally denying that the conversation took place. Bizarrely, one of the CNN debate’s moderators then immediately and matter-of-factly asked Warren, “What did you think when Sen. Sanders told you a woman could not win the election?”

That prompted laughter in the debate hall, and a bewildered chuckle from Sanders. Some commentators have suggested the disputed reports of Warren and Sanders’ alleged 2018 conversation, which cited sources who were not present for Sanders’ alleged remarks, were a leak from the Warren campaign intended to blunt Sanders’ surge in recent polls.

‘SNL’ Mocks Joe Biden in Debate Recap: “I’m Always One Second Away from Calling Cory Booker ‘Barack'”

With an all-star cast, this weekend’s “Saturday Night Live” reenacted some of the more cringeworthy moments of last week’s Democratic presidential debate in Atlanta.

“America, I see you. And I see the faces you make when I talk – you’re scared,” Woody Harrelson, flashing a mouth full of pearly whites as Joe Biden, said. “Scared I’ll say something off-color, or even worse, on color.”

“What I want you to know is you should be scared,” he continued.” Because I’m always one second away from calling Cory Booker ‘Barack.’” . . .

“I’m a little overwhelmed because I thought 10 people were coming and now there’s 30 million,” [Kate McKinnon’s Elizabeth Warren] quipped. “But I promise dinner will be ready if you just get out of the kitchen and stop asking questions,” she said, mocking Warren’s dodging how she plans to pay for her $52 trillion Medicare-for-All plan. . .

“And, of course, this Thanksgiving, I’ll be cooking … the food of my ancestors. Should I say it? I’m going to say it. Maize.” (Read more from “‘SNL’ Mocks Joe Biden in Debate Recap: “I’m Always One Second Away from Calling Cory Booker ‘Barack'” HERE)
