Department of Justice Pushing Separate Comey Probe for Classified Leaks

The Department of Justice (DOJ) is reportedly pursuing a separate probe into allegations that former FBI Director James Comey leaked classified information.

“Federal prosecutors in the Eastern District of Virginia office that failed in its first criminal case against Comey last year for alleged false statements to Congress, have in recent weeks revived their separate, but interrelated, pursuit of Comey,” reported Bloomberg Law.

“The investigation is tied to his dissemination of documents to Columbia University Law Professor Daniel Richman, the individuals added,” as reported by the outlet. “If successful, it would be the Trump DOJ’s third time indicting Comey since last fall.”

Two anonymous sources close to the matter said that acting Attorney General Todd Blanche has been holding active meetings on the case, though it has not yet been decided if the DOJ will present an indictment of Comey to the grand jury in Eastern Virginia.

The report of a pending third indictment against Comey comes after the Department of Justice hit him with a two-count indictment stemming from a social media post he made in 2025 that featured an arranged set of seashells on a North Carolina beach, which read, “86 47” — 86 possibly meaning “eliminate” and 47 potentially meaning President Donald Trump. While the phrase “86” does not inherently mean violence — it allegedly originated as a restaurant term — people immediately criticized the post for tangentially implying violence, and Comey deleted the post as a result. DOJ Report: ‘Radical’ Biden Administration Worked to ‘Punish’ Christians Living by Their Beliefs

Former President Joe Biden’s (D) administration targeted Christians who held traditional values, according to findings in a U.S. Department of Justice Task Force report.

The Task Force to Eradicate Anti-Christian Bias shared its findings Thursday in a lengthy report detailing how the Biden administration pursued such ends, according to the New York Post.

The DOJ’s press release said the report detailed Biden’s “radical efforts to punish Christians” through prosecutions, policies, and practices that demonstrated “anti-Christian bias.”

A DOJ press release quoted acting attorney general and chair of the task force Todd Blanche:

No American should live in fear that the federal government will punish them for their faith. As our report lays out, the Biden Administration’s actions devastated the lives of many Christian Americans. That devastation ended with President Trump. The Department of Justice will continue to expose bad actors who targeted Christians and work tirelessly to restore religious liberty for all Americans of faith.

Jeffrey Epstein Guard Googled Him Less Than An Hour Before Death

By TMZ. A correctional officer working in the wing where Jeffrey Epstein was incarcerated the night he died searched his case on the internet less than an hour before his death … this according to Department of Justice records.

Tova Noel — a former guard at Metropolitan Correctional Center (MCC) in Lower Manhattan, New York City — did a couple Google searches about Epstein’s case on August 10, 2019 around 5:43 AM. The convicted pedophile was found dead around 6:30 AM.

Noel searched “latest on Epstein in jail” and clicked on an article about documents related to Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, her newly released search history reveals.

Worth noting … Epstein wasn’t the only inmate who drew Noel’s interest — after looking up Epstein, she searched for the latest info on Omar Amanat. (Read more from “Jeffrey Epstein Guard Googled Him Less Than An Hour Before Death” HERE)

Epstein autopsy doctor explains hesitation to declare his death a suicide

By Raw Story. A newly released transcript reveals new details about the autopsy conducted after Jeffrey Epstein’s death and the decision to declare he had killed himself.

The convicted sex offender was found dead in his Manhattan jail cell Aug. 10, 2019, while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges, and Business Insider reported new details about the findings by Kristin Roman, who conducted an autopsy the following day for the New York City medical examiner’s office, and Michael Baden, a forensic pathologist hired as an observer by Epstein’s estate and brother Mark Epstein.

“After examining Jeffrey Epstein’s corpse, Baden was convinced he died by homicide,” Insider reported. “Roman was less sure. On Epstein’s death certificate, she did not check the boxes for ‘homicide’ or ‘suicide’ and instead checked the box for “pending studies.”

Roman’s boss Barbara Sampson, the chief medical examiner of New York City, ruled five days later that Epstein had died by suicide after what she described as a “careful review of all investigative information.” Roman’s initial hesitation, combined with Baden’s conclusion, has fueled conspiracy theories for years.

“The world did not learn that Roman agreed with her office’s findings until nearly four years later, when the Justice Department inspector general’s office released its report into Epstein’s death,” Insider reported. “Even then, the reasoning behind her ruling — and the delay — was not made clear. Until now.” (Read more from “Epstein autopsy doctor explains hesitation to declare his death a suicide” HERE)

Trump’s DOJ Scrambles to Take Back Epstein Files

President Donald Trump’s Justice Department has been forced to take down thousands of documents relating to Jeffrey Epstein that may have identified victims, admitting that “technical or human error” had botched the process.

In another embarrassing blow to Attorney General Pam Bondi and her department, the names and identifying information of numerous victims of the late sex offender were released unredacted on Friday, including several women whose names have never before been publicly associated with the case.

Justice officials were forced to address the issue in court on Monday, after survivors demanded that the DOJ site be taken down because of the redaction failures.

“The Department now has taken down several thousands of documents and media that may have inadvertently included victim-identifying information due to various factors, including technical or human error,” the DOJ said in a letter to two U.S. District Court judges with the Southern District of New York.

“As of the date of this letter, the Department now has taken down nearly all of those materials specifically identified by victims or their counsel, as well as a substantial number of documents identified independently by the Department. The Department is reviewing those documents and will re-process them.” (Read more from “Trump’s DOJ Scrambles to Take Back Epstein Files” HERE)

Minnesota: DOJ Arrests 16 Anti-ICE Activists for Rioting, Including Viral ‘Bananas and Rice’ Somali Migrant

The Department of Justice (DOJ) has announced the arrests of 16 individuals in Minnesota for allegedly rioting and assaulting Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents, including a Somali immigrant who recently went viral for saying that “being Somali isn’t just eating bananas with rice.”

“I am on the ground in Minneapolis today. Federal agents have arrested 16 Minnesota rioters for allegedly assaulting federal law enforcement — people who have been resisting and impeding our federal law enforcement agents,” Attorney General Pam Bondi wrote on X:

We expect more arrests to come. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Nothing will stop President Trump and this Department of Justice from enforcing the law.

Among those arrested is 23-year-old Nasra Ahmed, a Somali American, who recently went viral online when, during a press conference, she said, “Being Somali isn’t just eating bananas with rice.”

“It’s like, it’s a, it’s a… it’s kind of like the bananas and rice,” Ahmed said. “It’s like that combination of banana and rice, but you, you, you’re gonna get what I mean.” (Read more from “Minnesota: DOJ Arrests 16 Anti-ICE Activists for Rioting, Including Viral ‘Bananas and Rice’ Somali Migrant” HERE)

Trump Admin Moves To Strip Alleged Foreign War Criminal Of Citizenship

The Department of Justice (DOJ) filed a civil complaint Monday to revoke the citizenship of a man facing a war crimes arrest in Bosnia.

Sead Miljkovic allegedly gave false information to immigration authorities upon receiving his U.S. citizenship in 2007, according to a DOJ press release.

Miljkovic was a member of the security forces of the Autonomous Province of Western Bosnia (APZB) and was subject to an arrest warrant issued by Bosnian courts regarding alleged war crimes against civilians during the time he received his citizenship, according to the DOJ.

The DOJ alleges that Miljkovic, who also used the last name Dukic, hid his true identity by failing to disclose that he had used more than one name, listed more than one date and place of birth, more than one name of his father and more than one woman listed as his wife in multiple applications.

“This Administration will not permit aliens to come to this country and hide their past to acquire the precious gift of U.S. citizenship,” Assistant Attorney General Brett A. Shumate of the DOJ’s Civil Division said in a statement. “Decades might pass, but when we find you, we will take action.” (Read more from “Trump Admin Moves To Strip Alleged Foreign War Criminal Of Citizenship” HERE)

DOJ Releases Shocking Fake Video of Jeffrey Epstein Suicide as Part of File Dump

By New York Post. The DOJ on Monday released shocking footage that appeared to be a recreation of Jeffrey Epstein’s suicide in his Manhattan jail cell — and it briefly set the Internet on fire until it was revealed to be fake.

The video was posted without explanation to the Justice Department’s website as part of its Epstein file dump — with the footage just the latest item among a trove of documents and images to be revealed after the complete horde was ordered released in November.

The grainy, 12-second, computer-generated clip showed a white-haired man in an orange jumpsuit struggling and jerking his head about while kneeling at the base of a jail-cell bunk bed.

But a closer examination of the clip showed things were not quite right – with a pile of orange prison clothes strewn about the ground looking like puddles without any texture, and the door to the jail cell not matching the one in Epstein’s behind-bars compartment. AG Pam Bondi threatened with fines for ‘coverup’ of ‘dozens’ of Epstein FBI witness docs — ‘back up plan’ in works

By New York Post. The congressmen who forced the Justice Department to release files on notorious pedophile Jeffrey Epstein say Attorney General Pam Bondi is protecting powerful men by heavily redacting records — and are threatening to fine her $5,000 per day for contempt of Congress, with a “backup plan” if that doesn’t work.

Bondi is seeking to head off the mounting outcry over missing Epstein files by pledging to investigate and prosecute any credibly accused perpetrator, though skeptics claim victims already have laid out chargeable claims to investigators in “dozens” of unpublished FBI interview memos.

“This is where the survivors have named other men who either raped them or visited Epstein’s rape island or covered up the abuse,” said Rep. Ro Khanna (D-Calif.), sponsor of the Epstein Files Transparency Act.

“What the American people want to know [is]: Who are these other powerful financiers [and] powerful politicians who trafficked these women, or abused these women as girls or covered it up?” Khanna told The Post in an interview

“That is in those witness interviews, the FBI interview memorandum. They have not released a single one.” (Read more from “AG Pam Bondi threatened with fines for ‘coverup’ of ‘dozens’ of Epstein FBI witness docs — ‘back up plan’ in works” HERE)

More than a dozen newly-released Jeffrey Epstein files vanished from Justice Department website

By New York Post. More than a dozen files tied to notorious pedophile Jeffrey Epstein mysteriously vanished from the Justice Department’s website just one day after the agency released the massive, long-awaited trove of documents and photos to the public, according to reports.

At least 16 files — among thousands available Friday — were taken down with no explanation from the government, leading to criticism from Democrats on Capitol Hill.

The missing docs included images of nude female paintings — and according to the Dems, a picture of a desk that had numerous framed photos on it and some photos piled in an open drawer.

The images that could be seen on the desk included snaps of former President Bill Clinton, pope Benedict XVI and others.

In the open drawer, a previously released image showing President Trump posing at an event with Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell and First Lady Melania Trump apparently could be seen, according to a social media post about the allegedly missing images by the Democrats on X. They said the image was “file 468.” (Read more from “More than a dozen newly-released Jeffrey Epstein files vanished from Justice Department website” HERE)

Ghislaine Maxwell Files Petition Seeking Release From Federal Prison Following Meeting with Trump Official

Convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell has filed a petition asking a federal judge to release her from prison, according to new court filings reported by The New York Times.

Maxwell, who is serving a 20-year sentence at a minimum-security federal prison camp in Texas, submitted a habeas corpus petition this week through her attorney, David Oscar Markus. The filing, made in Manhattan federal court, did not specify the legal grounds for her request.

Maxwell, a British socialite and longtime associate of the late financier Jeffrey Epstein, was arrested in July 2020 on charges connected to Epstein’s sexual exploitation of underage girls. Following a high-profile trial in December 2021, a jury convicted her on five of six counts, including sex trafficking of a minor. Prosecutors argued that Maxwell played a key role in recruiting and grooming victims for Epstein.

The new petition follows scrutiny that intensified earlier this year after a private July meeting between Maxwell and Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche. The meeting drew criticism because of Blanche’s longstanding ties to President Donald Trump.

Legal experts and watchdog groups questioned why a high-ranking Justice Department official met behind closed doors with a convicted sex trafficker, raising concerns about potential conflicts of interest and whether the meeting could be perceived as an effort to protect powerful figures connected to Epstein.

The Justice Department did not provide details about the purpose or content of the meeting, and it remains unclear whether Maxwell’s latest legal filing is related.

Maxwell continues to serve her federal sentence while her petition awaits judicial review.

DOJ Announces New Batch Of Arrests In Crackdown On Left-Wing Terror

The Department of Justice (DOJ) announced the arrest Wednesday of 10 defendants accused of committing violence against law enforcement and property during anti-Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) demonstrations in Southern California earlier this year.

The incidents are being investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), according to a DOJ statement.

“There is zero tolerance for violence against law enforcement officers,” Acting U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli said in the release. “During the summer we warned the public that anyone who engages in any violence will eventually be brought to justice. Today we are delivering on that promise and will continue to hold those who violated the law accountable.”

Prosecutors charged Oxnard residents Virginia Reyes, 32, and Isai Carrillo, 31, with conspiracy to impede or injure a federal officer. They face as much as five years behind bars if convicted. Authorities apprehended Carrillo today while Reyes was alleged to be a fugitive from the law.

In July, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) agents preparing to execute several search warrants discovered the operation had been compromised by social media posts, according to an affidavit. Protesters — alerted through networks monitoring DHS offices — gathered near the site, where they constructed a roadblock with farm equipment, authorities alleged.

DOJ Requests DNI Documents Following Gabbard Criminal Referral on Russiagate Conspiracy

The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) has sent the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) a request for a treasure trove of documents related to the ongoing federal investigation into the Obama administration’s Russiagate operation, The Federalist has learned. According to a letter to ODNI senior adviser Paul McNamara, which was obtained by The Federalist, the DOJ has requested from ODNI a wide array of documents about the Obama administration’s 2016 and 2017 attempts to frame then-President-elect Donald Trump as an agent of Russia who stole the 2016 election from Hillary Clinton.

The request comes on the heels of the declassification and public release of records from late 2016 and 2017 which show how top intelligence and law enforcement officials — including former FBI Director James Comey, former CIA Director John Brennan, and former DNI James Clapper — conspired to fabricate a narrative that Russia meddled in the 2016 election in order to elect Trump. The declassified records showed that top intelligence experts objected to the narrative, highlighted myriad issues with the so-called intelligence used to support false claims about Trump, and even told Brennan that he was misrepresenting facts and ignoring counter-evidence as part of a push to attack Trump, cripple his transition, and even hijack his presidency.

Fox News reported on Monday that the DOJ had authorized the empaneling of a federal grand jury to investigate whether Comey, Brennan, or other top Obama administration officials committed any crimes as part of their operation to use the nation’s top intelligence and law enforcement agencies to smear Trump.

The DOJ letter from a federal prosecutor, which was sent in response to a request from Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Tulsi Gabbard for the DOJ to investigate any potential criminal wrongdoing related to the production of the Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA) that claimed without evidence that Russia sought to elect Trump in 2016, asks for 12 different categories of documents related to Gabbard’s criminal referral.

“Pursuant to the authority and director of the United States Attorney General, I have been assigned responsibility for investigating this criminal referral,” the letter states. (Read more from “DOJ Requests DNI Documents Following Gabbard Criminal Referral on Russiagate Conspiracy” HERE)
