Whistleblower Details How FBI Allegedly Broke Rules, Made Jan. 6 Higher Priority Than Child Pornography

An FBI whistleblower joined Daily Wire host Andrew Klavan Friday to reveal his frustration with the bureau’s leadership over the January 6 investigations and detail what he experienced as an agent.

Steve Friend, who was a domestic terrorism investigator before being suspended, told the host of “The Andrew Klavan Show” that the FBI broke its own rules when investigating January 6 cases and arrested people without enough evidence. He also explained how one of his superiors told him that January 6 was a higher priority than pursuing child pornography cases.

“When I was moved over to from my child exploitation cases, the assistant special agent in charge even mentioned that he felt that child pornography was going to be a local issue and that domestic terrorism, specifically January 6th, was the higher priority,” Friend said.

The whistleblower added that when he started getting involved on January 6 cases, he noticed that they were “more or less being directed from Washington, D.C.,” even though local field offices usually call most of the shots on cases. Friend explained that this was “inconsistent with FBI rules.”

“So we have very specific rules when it comes to having cases open once they’re opened and assigned to a specific field office,” Friend told Klavan. “And there’s agents or task force officers who are running that case. Former FBI Official to Address Whistleblower Claims Alleging Agency Inflated Domestic Terrorism Numbers

House Judiciary Committee Republicans said Thursday that a top former FBI official must testify before Congress to address whistleblower claims alleging the Biden administration pressured agents to inflate domestic violent extremism (DVE) cases.

Representatives sent a letter to Jill Sanborn, a former Assistant Director of the FBI Counterterrorism Division and Executive Assistant Director of the National Security Branch, who the whistleblower accused as one the top officials exerting pressure on agents.

House representatives said the former FBI official would sit down for a transcribed interview with committee members “investigating several allegations concerning the politicization of the FBI.”

“Whistleblower disclosures made by multiple FBI employees from different field offices suggest that FBI agents are bolstering the number of cases of DVEs to satisfy their supervisors,” House GOP Reps. Whistleblowers Accuse FBI of ‘Padding’ Domestic Terrorism Stats to Play Up Threat: Report

FBI officials are allegedly pressuring agents to reclassify cases as “domestic violent extremism,” despite weak evidence that the cases belong in such a category.

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), the ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee, said in a letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray on Wednesday that whistleblowers at the FBI say the bureau is “padding domestic terrorism data” to make the threat seem larger than it is. The bureau is misclassifying cases as due to Domestic Violent Extremists (DVEs) to support an administration “narrative” about the threat presented by DVEs, Jordan said.

“From recent protected disclosures, we have learned that FBI officials are pressuring agents to reclassify cases as ‘domestic violent extremism’ even if the cases do not meet the criteria for such a classification. Given the narrative pushed by the Biden administration that domestic violent extremism is the ‘greatest threat’ facing our country, revelation that the FBI may be artificially padding domestic terrorism data is scandalous,” Jordan wrote.

“We have received accusations that FBI agents are bolstering the number of cases of DVEs to satisfy their superiors. For example, one whistleblower explained that because agents are not finding enough DVE cases, they are encouraged and incentivized to reclassify cases as DVE cases even though there is minimal, circumstantial evidence to support the reclassification,” he continued.

State Sues School Boards Association for Hiding Details About Biden’s War on Parents

The state of Missouri is asking a circuit court to intervene after the Missouri School Boards Association refused to hand over information about its role in the Biden administration’s “domestic terrorism” smear campaign against concerned parents.

Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt filed the lawsuit on Tuesday after the MSBA repeatedly failed to fulfill records requests related to the National School Boards Association’s attempt to solicit federal intervention to silence parents who want to hold school boards accountable.

The lawsuit claims that despite receiving multiple emails from the AG’s office and the public, who were disturbed by the Biden administration’s eagerness to target parents, the MSBA, which is funded largely by tax dollars and staffed by public officials to serve the community, knowingly violated the Missouri Sunshine Law by ignoring or denying these requests.

“Upon information and belief, MSBA has hidden its full knowledge of, and support for, the effort by the Biden Administration and NSBA to investigate parents as ‘domestic terrorists,’” the lawsuit states.

Evidence shows the MSBA executive director did receive correspondence about the effort to shut up community members who disagreed with school boards’ radical leftist agendas but the “quasi-public governmental body” feigned innocence when petitioned by the public. How Low Will Joe Go? Bombshell Email Exchange Reveals How Biden Admin Pushed to Call American Parents ‘Domestic Terrorists’

Education Secretary Miguel Cardona solicited the much-criticized letter from the National School Boards Association that compared protesting parents to domestic terrorists, according to an email exchange reviewed by Fox News.

The email exchange indicates Cardona was more involved with the letter’s creation than previously known.

President Biden’s Department of Justice relied on the NSBA letter, which suggested using the Patriot Act against parents, in creating its own memo directing the FBI to mobilize in support of local education officials.

In the Oct. 5 email, NSBA Secretary-Treasurer Kristi Swett recounted that NSBA interim CEO Chip Slaven “told the officers he was writing a letter to provide information to the White House, from a request by Secretary Cardona.”

Justice Department Forms New Domestic Terrorism Unit

The Justice Department is establishing a new domestic terrorism unit to combat the threat that has more than doubled in the past two years, the head of the agency’s National Security Division said Tuesday.

Assistant Attorney General Matthew Olsen told members of the Senate Judiciary Committee that the newly formed unit will encompass a dedicated group of attorneys to focus on the domestic terrorism threat.

Biden Administration: Parents Who Oppose Racism Are Domestic Terrorists

It is no coincidence that the Department of Justice heeded the National School Boards Association’s call for the Biden administration to target parents critical of critical race theory curricula and dubious coronavirus policies in schools by labeling them domestic terrorists and mobilizing the DOJ and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The administration’s National Strategy for Countering Domestic Terrorism mandates just such chilling action.

That little-discussed but hugely significant document codifies a War on Wrongthink, demanding that the full weight of the federal government and private-sector allies like Big Tech be brought to bear against dissenters from Biden regime orthodoxy. Consider “pillar four” of the strategy, titled “Confront Long-Term Contributors to Domestic Terrorism.” It reads in part:

…tackling the threat posed by domestic terrorism over the long term demands substantial efforts to confront the racism that feeds into aspects of that threat. We are, therefore, prioritizing efforts to ensure that every component of the government has a role to play in rooting out racism and advancing equity for under–served communities that have far too often been the targets of discrimination and violence. This approach must apply to our efforts to counter domestic terrorism by addressing underlying racism and bigotry.

On day one of the Biden presidency, the administration issued an executive order lamenting America’s “systemic racism.” In response, it called for the administration to pursue “an ambitious whole-of-government equity agenda.”

It also revoked the Trump administration’s executive order barring training of federal employees in “anti-American race … stereotyping and scapegoating” — an implicit reference to critical race theory and related critiques of America. This revocation could be seen as at minimum a tacit endorsement of CRT, as could the Biden administration’s dissolution of the Trump administration’s 1776 Commission, a group whose work could be seen as challenging CRT. Leftist School Boards Association Begs Biden To Use Domestic Terrorism Laws to Target Concerned Parents

By The Federalist. The leftist National School Boards Association is begging President Joe Biden to use domestic terrorism laws to target parents who oppose anti-science mask mandates for children and the infiltration of racist curriculum in schools.

In a letter sent on Wednesday, NSBA asked the Biden administration and federal law enforcement to “deal with the growing number of threats of violence and acts of intimidation occurring across the nation.”

“Now, we ask that the federal government investigate, intercept, and prevent the current threats and acts of violence against our public school officials through existing statutes, executive authority, interagency and intergovernmental task forces, and other extraordinary measures to ensure the safety of our children and educators, to protect interstate commerce, and to preserve public school infrastructure and campuses,” the letter states.

NSBA said local and state law enforcement agencies are already working to “prevent further disruptions to educational services and school district operations,” but that “these threats and acts of violence have become more prevalent” and require assistance from federal agencies such as the U.S. Department of Justice, FBI, Department of Homeland Security, and the Secret Service. NYC Public School Teachers Make Emergency Supreme Court Application to Block Mayor Bill de Blasio’s COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate

By Daily Mail. New York City public school teachers have asked the Supreme Court for an emergency order to block Mayor Bill de Blasio’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate from going into effect Friday.

The group of four teachers sent a petition to Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor arguing that the mandate not only places an ‘unconstitutional burden’ on the city’s 148,000 school workers, but also ‘threatens the education of thousands of children.’

The petition argues that their rights are being violated because they do not have the option to undergo regular COVID-19 testing instead of getting the shot. Other essential workers – including NYPD cops – have been given that testing option instead.

Teachers across all public schools in the Big Apple have up until 5pm Friday to get vaccinated against COVID-19 or risk losing their jobs.

When the school day starts the following Monday – October 4 – all teachers and staff arriving for work across the city’s public schools must have received at least their first dose of the vaccine. ‘Tell the State Dept. To F–k Themselves’: Taliban’s Taunts To Desperate Evacuees

By New York Post. Members of Congress and their staffers who scrambled to help Americans and their Afghan allies get out of Afghanistan before this week’s withdrawal deadline have revealed some of the frantic messages they received from people desperate to leave in recent days.

Multiple outlets, including The Post, reported on the difficulties facing would-be evacuees who attempted to get to Kabul’s Hamid Karzai International Airport through a gauntlet of Taliban checkpoints.

Now, the messages obtained by the Washington Examiner show how fraught the situation became in the final days before the last flight left Aug. 30. . .

The man recalled being told by the State Department to go to the Interior Ministry in Kabul, where he was confronted by a Taliban guard. After the man explained the situation, the Taliban fighter responded: “Go and tell the State Department to f— themselves.”

The evacuee said he made it into the airport by making a break for it during a firefight at a checkpoint on Aug. 27, the day after an ISIS-K suicide bomber killed at least 13 US service members and at least 169 Afghans at the airport’s Abbey Gate. Professor: Biden Administration Using Domestic Terrorism as Political Weapon to ‘Bludgeon’ Opponents (VIDEO)

After U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland recently laid out the Justice Department’s “National Strategy for Countering Domestic Terrorism,” citizens should be alarmed by the constitutionality of the Biden administration’s hunt for loosely defined “domestic terrorists.” The strategy is being utilized as a “political weapon” to silence and “bludgeon” political opponents, according to Nicholas Giordano, a professor of political science and host of The P.A.S. Report.

On Sunday, Giordano joined Steve Malzberg on his Eat the Press weekly commentary show to discuss the release of the Justice Department dossier, as well as the media’s lack of interest in it.

Last month, the Justice Department unveiled a new “national strategy” aimed at fighting domestic terrorism, and A.G. Merrick Garland said its purpose is “to coordinate and provide a principled path for the federal government’s efforts to counter the heightened domestic terrorism threat using all available tools.”
