Rep. Stefanik Files Misconduct Complaint Against Judge Juan Merchan Over ‘Random’ Assignment to Trump’s NYC Trial

Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) filed a misconduct complaint Tuesday against the judge overseeing Donald Trump’s Manhattan hush money trial, alleging that his selection to handle the former president’s case — and others involving his allies — is “not random at all.”

The House Republican Conference chairwoman’s complaint with the inspector general of the New York State Unified Court System called for an investigation into Justice Juan Merchan “to determine whether the required random selection process was in fact followed.”

“The potential misconduct pertains to the repeated assignment of Acting Justice Juan Merchan, a Democrat Party donor, to criminal cases related to President Donald J. Trump and his allies,” Stefanik wrote.

“Acting Justice Merchan currently presides over the criminal case against President Trump brought by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg,” she said.

“Acting Justice Merchan also presided over the criminal trial against the Trump Organization and will be presiding over the criminal trial of Steve Bannon, a senior advisor in President Trump’s White House and a prominent advocate for President Trump,” Stefanik continued, noting that there were at least two dozen sitting justices eligible to oversee the cases but Merchan – an acting jurist – was selected for all three related to the presumptive 2024 GOP nominee for president and his allies. ‘Unhinged’: The Biden Campaign Held a Press Conference and It Was a Train Wreck

The Biden campaign held a press conference in New York City Tuesday morning, right down the street from the ongoing trial of former President Donald Trump. It was a total disaster.

The star of the train wreck was actor Robert DeNiro, who dramatically claimed Trump would destroy New York, the United States and eventually the world. He also announced he was officially joining the Biden campaign after walking to the lectern in a cloth mask.

Then, the campaign refused to answer questions.

Libertarian Party Nominates Pro-Trans Activist for President

The Libertarian Party has officially rejected former Republican President Donald Trump and Independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., selecting activist Chase Oliver, a former democrat, as their presidential nominee. The decision was announced following the party’s national convention, where both Trump and Kennedy had addressed attendees, seeking Libertarian support.

Oliver secured the nomination in the seventh round of voting, receiving nearly 60 percent of the vote, as reported by Fox News Digital. “I will continue to bring a hopeful and positive message of liberty to both those who consider themselves libertarian and those who don’t know they are libertarian yet,” Oliver stated in his victory speech.

Oliver has faced criticism for his stance on transgender issues, which he addressed in an interview with the Daily Caller. “As with any medical issue, I support autonomy from the government in making personal decisions. I prefer individuals decide the healthcare that is right for them in consultation with a doctor if they so choose, and not leave those decisions to boards of bureaucrats or the politicians who enable them,” he explained.

Oliver’s platform includes ending U.S. involvement in foreign wars, adopting an Ellis Island approach to immigration, repealing gun control laws, abolishing the Patriot Act and the FISA Amendments Act of 2008, and reducing government intervention in the economy to foster a robust free market, according to his campaign website.

Trump Lawyer: Jurors in Trump Trial ‘Should Have Been Sequestered’

Trump lawyer Alina Habba said jurors in the former president’s business records trial “should have been sequestered” over Memorial Day weekend in order to prevent their friends and families from trying to influence their opinions.

During an interview on Fox News, Habba, who represents former President Donald Trump, said she felt the jury should have been sequestered away from the news media or even their family and friends over the holiday weekend, adding that they are dealing with a case that is “completely unprecedented and unwarranted.”

Habba’s comments come as the 12 jurors are expected to deliver their verdict regarding Trump facing 34 counts of falsifying business records in the first degree in relation to payments reportedly made to adult entertainment star Stormy Daniels during the 2016 presidential election.

“These are not sequestered jurors,” Habba said. “They should have been sequestered because, in my opinion, these jurors are handling something that is completely unprecedented and unwarranted in America. And for them to be able to be out and about on a holiday weekend, with friends and families who have opinions who are watching the news, TV’s on the background at the pool party — I have serious concerns.”

Trump Seeks ‘Partnership’ at Libertarian Convention (VIDEO)

Former President Donald Trump urged Libertarian Party members on Saturday to support his campaign in the 2024 election this November.

During his remarks at the Libertarian Convention in Washington, D.C., which drew some boos from people in the audience, Trump said he was asking for a “partnership” to defeat President Joe Biden.

“Combine with us — you have to combine with us,” Trump said, eliciting some boos from people in the audience. “We cannot give Crooked Joe Biden four more years.”

Trump urged the Libertarian Party to nominate him, suggesting they would be stuck getting up to 3% support in the election otherwise. He also pledged to “put a Libertarian in my Cabinet” and in senior posts.

‘Let’s Make Some News Tonight!’: Trump Drops Hints To Reporter About His Running Mate (VIDEO)

Presumptive 2024 Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump dropped hints to a New York local reporter Thursday about his future running mate.

Trump stuck around after his historic rally at Cortona Park in the South Bronx to speak with News 12 political reporter Tara Rosenblum. Trump named a few potential picks for vice president after addressing former 2024 Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley’s Wednesday announcement that she will be voting for the former president for the first time on film.

“A big night last night, Nikki Haley making her first public remarks since dropping out of the race. She said that Joe Biden has been a catastrophe and she said that she’s voting for you. I’m sure those were welcome remarks for you, but it also left a lot of people wondering, is there room for her on your team or better yet, your ticket?” Rosenblum asked.

“Well, I think she’s going to be on our team because we have a lot of the same ideas, the same thoughts. I appreciated what she said,” Trump told News 12. “You know, we had a nasty campaign. It was pretty nasty. But she’s a very capable person, and I’m sure she’s gonna be on our team in some form. Absolutely.”

Trump named four potential running mates, including former 2016 Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson, Republican Florida Rep. Marco Rubio, Republican Ohio Sen. JD Vance and Republican New York Rep. Elise Stefanik. Each individual listed has made recent public or media appearances aligning themselves with Trump.

Trump Says He ‘Would Absolutely’ Rehire Former Aide Imprisoned by Biden’s DOJ

Former President Donald Trump told The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) that he “would absolutely” hire back a former aide whom President Joe Biden’s Department of Justice (DOJ) jailed.

A judge sentenced 74-year-old Peter Navarro to federal prison for four months after he defied a Jan. 6 congressional subpoena and Congress held him in contempt. Despite the sentencing, Trump told The WSJ that he would rehire Navarro should he return to the White House, to which Navarro said he wasn’t looking for work but would return “if the boss needs me.”

“I would absolutely have Peter back. This outrageous behavior by the Democrats should not have happened,” the former president told The WSJ.

Navarro added that he wasn’t interested in a pardon from Trump if he returns to the White House, but he wouldn’t change a thing about what he did.

Jack Smith Requests Gag Order on Trump

Special counsel Jack Smith requested a gag order Friday against former President Donald Trump regarding his case involving the alleged mishandling of classified documents, according to a court filing.

Smith filed the request Friday evening asking presiding Judge Aileen Cannon to modify Trump’s “conditions of release,” seeking that it makes clear “he may not make statements that pose a significant, imminent, and foreseeable danger to law enforcement agents participating in the investigation and prosecution of this case.”

“The law enforcement agents participating in this case conducted the search in an appropriate and professional manner, subject to the Department of Justice’s standard use-of-force policy. Trump’s repeated mischaracterization of these facts in widely distributed messages as an attempt to kill him, his family, and Secret Service agents has endangered law enforcement officers involved in the investigation and prosecution of this case and threatened the integrity of these proceedings,” the filing stated.

“A restriction prohibiting future similar statements does not restrict legitimate speech. Trump’s conditions of release should therefore be modified to prohibit similar communications going forward.”

Smith’s request comes swiftly after court documents were released regarding the language used within the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) authorization of their raid at Mar-A-Lago in August 2022, according to Fox News. As part of the special counsel’s investigation, the federal agency’s “Operations Order” was produced within the released filing, showing that the FBI “believed its objective for the Mar-a-Lago raid was to seize ‘classified information, NDI, and US Government records,’” court documents stated. President Joe Biden has finally said what millions of Americans are thinking: that former President Donald Trump will win the 2024 election.

“We cannot win this reelection.. we can only reelect Donald Trump!” Biden said while speaking to a group of rallygoers in Missouri.

Recent polls show that Trump leads Biden in key battleground states including Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.

Trump holds 48 percent of the vote in these crucial states, while Biden has just 44 percent.

The Polls Don’t Lie: Thousands of People Show Up to Trump Rally In Deep-Blue State (VIDEO)

Former President Donald Trump headed to the most liberal part of New York to address tens of thousands of MAGA supporters in the state that has not seen a red wave in nearly 40 years.

However, 2024 may be the year of a Democrat downfall in the state.

Trump arrived in the Bronx on Thursday evening as part of his plan to bring his message to every part of the Democrat state of New York as the politically motivated criminal trial in Manhattan continues.

As Lee Greenwood’s “God Bless The USA” played, Trump took the stage with thousands of supporters donning MAGA hats, chanting “TRUMP” flooded the area.

The 2024 hopeful first addressed the Biden border crisis, speculating that the millions of illegal immigrants entering the U.S. may be “building an army.”
