New Poll: Trump Approval Rating Hits All-Time High

By National Review. President Trump’s approval rating hit an all-time high in a Gallup survey released on Friday, with 49 percent of respondents approving of his performance versus 47 percent disapproving.

The results continue a wide swing in polling for Trump, who garnered a 43 percent approval rating two weeks ago.

“Most of the variation in Trump’s recent job approval rating is among independents,” Gallup said. “In the current poll, 47% of independents approve of the job he is doing as president, the highest Gallup has measured for the group to date. 93% of Republicans and 8% of Democrats approve of the job Trump is doing.” (Read more from “New Poll: Trump Approval Rating Hits All-Time High” HERE)

Joe Biden Almost Tied With Donald Trump as Lead Falls Within Margin of Error: Poll

By Newsweek. Former Vice President Joe Biden’s lead over President Donald Trump is within the margin of error, according to new polling data.

The latest survey published by The Hill and Harris X on Thursday found that 42 percent of registered voters said they would back Biden if an election were held today, while 40 percent threw their votes behind the president.

A further 5 percent of voters said they would vote for a third party candidate instead of the Republican incumbent or his Democratic challenger.

Four percent told pollsters they were not going to vote at all, and the remaining 9 percent said they were not sure who to vote for in November. (Read more from “Joe Biden Almost Tied With Donald Trump as Lead Falls Within Margin of Error: Poll” HERE)

WATCH: Trump Campaign Unleashes New Ad Ripping Biden Over Sexual Misconduct Allegations

President Trump’s reelection campaign isn’t shying away from hitting Joe Biden over his handling of allegations that he sexually assaulted and harassed a former Senate aide in 1993.

The incumbent’s campaign team, in particular, seized on accusations of hypocrisy over how the presumptive 2020 Democratic presidential nominee and other prominent members of the party supported the women who made sexual misconduct claims against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh and their reaction to Biden’s accuser, Tara Reade.

“The double standard exhibited by Biden, prominent liberal women’s groups, and Democrat elected officials — some of whom want to be Biden’s running mate — is glaring and cannot be allowed to stand,” Trump campaign spokeswoman Erin Perrine wrote in a statement.

Perrine added, “There will be a great temptation among Biden’s supporters to take his lackluster interview performance and declare ‘case closed’ and move on. We do not know what, if anything, was done to Tara Reade, but there cannot be one set of rules for Joe Biden and another set for everyone else.” . . .

The Trump campaign’s offensive is in reaction to Biden, 77, addressing Reade’s allegations directly and publicly for the first time Friday morning. In an interview with MSNBC, he reiterated remarks shared just before his appearance, vehemently denying the 56-year-old’s claims that he forcibly kissed her and penetrated her with his fingers, as well as inappropriately touched her hair and neck. Donald Trump Challenges China for Allowing Infected Residents to Travel the World; Trump Claims He Has Seen Evidence Linking Coronavirus to Wuhan Lab

By Breitbart. President Donald Trump spoke at length about China on Thursday, openly criticizing the ruling Communist Party for their handling of the coronavirus.

“I don’t understand how traffic, how people weren’t allowed into the rest of China but they were allowed into the rest of the world,” Trump said, recalling how the Chinese government blocked residents from the infected city of Wuhan from traveling to other parts of China.

The president spoke to reporters after a White House event promoting America’s seniors.

At times, Trump attempted to be diplomatic with China but frequently returned to criticism of their party leaders.

“It’s a terrible thing that happened, whether they made a mistake or whether it started off as a mistake and then they made another one, or did somebody do something on purpose?” Trump speculated. Trump Claims He Has Seen Evidence Linking Coronavirus to Wuhan Lab

By New York Post. President Trump on Thursday claimed he’d seen evidence linking the coronavirus to a lab in the Chinese city of Wuhan — but didn’t offer up any details.

“Yes, I have,” Trump told White House reporters when asked whether he’s seen proof that would suggest the virus originated in the lab.

When pressed, on what gave him that confidence, he said: “I can’t tell you that. I am not allowed to tell you that.”

Earlier on Thursday, the US intelligence community said it agreed with the scientific consensus that the novel coronavirus was not “manmade or genetically modified.” (Read more from “Trump Claims He Has Seen Evidence Linking Coronavirus to Wuhan Lab” HERE)

Fake News: Trump Did NOT Order the Army to Conduct the West Point Graduation

President Trump did not ask or order the Army to conduct the West Point graduation ceremony that is taking place in June, the Army secretary’s spokesperson said in an email to Breitbart News.

“The President did not order the Army to conduct the West Point Graduation,” said Army Lt. Col. Audricia Harris.

On whether Trump or the White House “asked” — versus ordered — the Army to proceed with the ceremony, she responded, “No.”

A West Point spokesman also told Breitbart News that West Point leadership was the one that came up with the June 13 date.

Despite the president not asking or ordering the ceremony to go forward on June 13, he has been slammed by Democrat lawmakers, leftist pundits, and activists for bringing 1,000 West Point cadets back to the campus and risking exposure to coronavirus. Trump Denies COVID-19 Funds to Planned Parenthood

The Trump administration has acted to ensure that no funds from the new Paycheck Protection Program, set up to assist small businesses battered by COVID-19, will go to Planned Parenthood.

“President Trump is committed to ensuring Paycheck Protection Program money is used for saving jobs at small businesses, not getting the government into the business of funding abortion,” a senior administration official told The Daily Signal.

“While not all Americans share President Trump’s pro-life beliefs, there is broad bipartisan support for the idea that American taxpayers should not have to fund abortion,” the official said Wednesday night.

The Paycheck Protection Program, designed to shore up small businesses that had to close or otherwise were affected by the coronavirus pandemic, allows businesses with fewer than 500 employees to be forgiven for the principal of a government loan if they don’t lay off their employees. The employers still have to pay the interest on the loans, overseen by the Small Business Administration.

The program’s initial $350 billion fund, established in legislation passed March 30 by the House, was depleted April 16. The program received $320 billion in new funding in a bill passed Thursday by the House and signed into law Friday by Trump. Trump Implies He Has Insight Into Kim Jong Un’s Health

As rumors about North Korean leader Kim Jong Un’s health continue to swirl, President Trump said he has “a very good idea” about the matter.

Speaking from the White House’s Rose Garden on Monday, Trump was asked if he had any updates on Kim’s health, which has come under close scrutiny after reports that he is in “grave danger” following heart surgery or could be in a vegetative state.

“I can’t tell you exactly. Yes, I do have a very good idea, but I can’t talk about it now,” Trump said. “I just wish him well. I’ve had a very good relationship with Kim Jong Un.” . . .

“I hope he’s fine. I do know how he’s doing, relatively speaking,” the president said. “We will see. You’ll probably be hearing in the not-too-distant future.” (Read more from “Trump Implies He Has Insight Into Kim Jong Un’s Health” HERE)

Popular Radio Host Tells Trump Supporters to Drink Bleach and Die

Talk radio icon Howard Stern declared that he is “all in” for Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden, and then added that he wanted Trump supporters to drink bleach and die.

Stern made the comments on his SiriusXM show after criticizing President Donald Trump for pondering aloud during a coronavirus task force media briefing if disinfectant or ultraviolet light could be used to combat the pandemic. He later said he was being sarcastic.

“What’s it going to take? I don’t get it,” Stern said about Trump’s comments. “I don’t think there is anyone left who will vote for him.” . . .

“I would love it if Donald would get on TV and take an injection of Clorox and let’s see if his theory works. Hold a big rally, say f**k this coronavirus, with all of his followers, and let them hug each other and kiss each other and have a big rally,” Stern continued.

“And all take disinfectant and all drop dead,” he added. (Read more from “Popular Radio Host Tells Trump Supporters to Drink Bleach and Die” HERE)

Nunes Wants to Interview Alleged Steele Dossier Source

The top Republican on the House Intelligence Committee signaled his desire to interview mysterious Trump-Russia figure Sergei Millian, allegedly an unwitting source for British ex-spy Christopher Steele’s dossier, after details emerged about the Russia investigation.

Rep. Devin Nunes of California said his own investigation of the Crossfire Hurricane investigators has zeroed in on three Russian Americans, telling Maria Bartiromo on Fox News’s Sunday Morning Futures he believed the most important was Millian, following recent revelations from Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s report on the FBI’s Russia investigation.

“Because of new information that has come out because of the Horowitz report that’s declassified that we’ve been talking about for a long time and the FISAs, we now are targeting what appear to be three Russian-Americans,” Nunes said. “I think the most important one is somebody that we actually asked to come to our committee named Sergei Millian. He is hiding somewhere around the globe — we don’t know exactly what country he’s in. But we really would like Sergei to come forward and talk to us because, either he was, you know, working for Fusion GPS and the Clinton campaign and dirtying up Trump people, or it’s quite possible that he may have been framed.”

Millian, an American citizen who was born in Belarus when it was still part of the Soviet Union, was named Siarhei Kukuts at birth but changed it as an adult. He went to school in Minsk, where he reportedly trained as a military translator, and he moved to the United States in the early 2000s. When living in Atlanta, he founded a trade group called the Russian American Chamber of Commerce in the USA and has claimed to have high-level Russian government contacts, though he has denied any connection to Russian intelligence. Millian also claimed to have business ties with Trump associates.

A Twitter account purporting to belong to Millian responded to Nunes on Sunday. “Dear Congressman Devin Nunes, thank you for your very public appeal on Maria Bartiromo and Fox News,” the alleged Millian account said. “Please follow me on Twitter. Let’s start a discussion about our meeting. #Repeal #Unconstitutional #FISA #Against #Americans.” (Read more from “Nunes Wants to Interview Alleged Steele Dossier Source” HERE)

More Fake News: Poison Control Centers Are Not Reporting a ‘Spike’ in Calls Because of Trump; YouTube Removes Video Showing Potential Internal UVA Light Treatment for Coronavirus

By PJ Media. . .Trump didn’t recommend injecting yourself with disinfectant or bleach. But his actual response was so convoluted and inartful, that it could easily be read that way — as long as you took it out of context. . .

Naturally, the next step in developing the narrative is to “prove” that the American people are following Trump’s recommendation and ingesting disinfectant. Sure enough, the New York Daily News headlined a piece “A spike in New Yorkers ingesting household cleaners following Trump’s controversial coronavirus comments.”

Elizabeth Nolan Brown of Reason.com took on the thankless task of revealing the incredible bias of the story.

Fearing that you ingested something doesn’t jibe with having intentionally consumed that substance.

The authors of the Daily News piece, Anna Sanders and Chris Sommerfeldt, try to circumvent this inconvenient fact by noting that over the same time period in 2019, the Poison Control Center “only handled 13 similar cases.” And while this time, nine calls were about possible Lysol exposure and ten about bleach, last year’s calls contained “no cases reported about Lysol exposure and only two were specifically in regards to bleach.”

YouTube Removes Biotech Company’s Video Showing Potential Internal UVA Light Treatment for Coronavirus

By PJ Media. . .In the wake of the press briefing where President Trump touted the possibility of using UV light to destroy the coronavirus, a biotech company called Aytu BioScience has been developing a UV light treatment called Healight, and posted a video to YouTube describing the treatment and its potential. It has since been taken down for violating YouTube’s community guidelines. The product has not been reviewed by the FDA, and it’s not yet been demonstrated to be an effective treatment, but a study from the team published in 2019 suggests that “UVA therapy can potentially provide a safe and effective novel approach to antimicrobial treatment via phototherapy on internal organs.”

The video was also removed from Vimeo, another video sharing site.

Biden Makes Outrageous Claim Trump Will Cancel November Election Date; Sorry Attempt to Draw Attention Away From Video Substantiating Assault Against Staffer?

By Washington Examiner. Former Vice President Joe Biden predicted that President Trump will try to delay the 2020 presidential election.

Biden, while speaking at a virtual fundraiser on Thursday evening, said the president would try to postpone the election because “that’s the only way he thinks he can possibly win.”

“Mark my words: I think he is going to try to kick back the election somehow; come up with some rationale why it can’t be held,” Biden said. “Imagine threatening not to fund the post office. Now, what in God’s name is that about? Other than trying to let the word out that he’s going to do all he can to make it very hard for people to vote. That’s the only way he thinks he can possibly win.”

The coronavirus pandemic has sparked a debate over mail-in voting and absentee ballots as states are ordering people not to leave their home and primaries are canceled. (Read more from “Joe Biden Claims President Trump Will Try to Postpone Election” HERE)

Decades Old Larry King Clip Helps Substantiate Staffer’s Claim Against Biden

By Joseph Wulfsohn. A resurfaced clip of “Larry King Live” from 1993 appears to include the mother of Tara Reade — who has accused Joe Biden of past sexual assault while in the Senate — alluding to “problems” her daughter faced while working as a staffer for the then-U.S. senator from Delaware.

In a telephone interview with Fox News on Friday night, Reade confirmed that her mother called in to the show. Biden’s presidential campaign has adamantly denied Reade’s allegations but the video could be cited as evidence supporting Reade’s allegation – even though her late mother, in the clip, does not specifically refer to a sexual assault claim.

The Intercept on Friday first reported the transcript of a broadcast from Aug. 11, 1993, of a woman from San Luis Obispo County, Calif., calling in to the show about her daughter’s experience on Capitol Hill. (Read more from this story HERE)
