SHOCK: Inspector General Report Reveals FBI Had Informants Inside the Trump Campaign

By Daily Wire. A recently released Department of Justice Inspector General report, examining the role of the FBI in efforts to wiretap and investigate the Trump 2016 presidential campaign and Trump 2016 transition team, and whether the FBI acted improperly when petitioning the FISA courts to spy on the effort without a warrant, revealed that the FBI had informants within the Trump campaign itself.

The Washington Times reports that the FBI informants, who tried to get close to Trump campaign aides Carter Page and George Papadopolous, came up empty despite repeated attempts to bait both Page and Papadopolous into connecting with Russian operatives who, the informants told the pair, could provide “incriminating” Hillary Clinton emails.

“The report discloses that the FBI dispatched against Trump allies multiple unnamed FBI informants known as confidential human sources (CHS). The most publicized was Stefan Halper, a longtime Washington national security figure and Cambridge University professor,” the outlet reported. “He ingratiated himself to George Papadopoulos and Carter Page, while also attempting to engage with a senior Trump campaign official in New York.”

The Inspector General reports that the FBI informants recorded entire conversations with both Papadopolous and Page, but that the content of these recordings could be considered evidence that neither aide engaged with Russian operatives: “Mr. Halper recorded conversations that could be seen as exculpatory.”

The Inspector General also “rapped” the FBI, the Times reports, for failing to include the recorded conversations in petitions sent to the FISA courts requesting the warrantless wiretaps. Such an error makes the petitions incomplete, he said, and biased the court towards granting the FBI permission to spy on Trump operatives. Gorka: Democrats Turned to Impeachment as Their ‘Platform of Extremism’ Made Them Un-Electable in 2020

By Breitbart. Former Deputy Assistant to President Donald Trump Sebastian Gorka told Breitbart News on Thursday that because the Democrats now “have a platform of extremism,” they know they are unable to win in a fair election, which is why they’ve turned to impeaching the president.

Gorka told Breitbart News on Thursday that the crime President Trump has committed was defeating Hillary Clinton, “and they’re never going to forgive him for that, so they’re trying to nullify the will of 63 million Americans in 2016.”

Breitbart News caught up with the former White House aide on Thursday, after he addressed thousands of young conservatives at Turning Point USA’s fifth annual Student Action Summit in West Palm Beach, Florida.

“Let’s not forget,” said Gorka, “nineteen minutes after I became deputy assistant to the president — after my boss put up his hand and was sworn in as the 45th president of the United States — the Washington Post wrote an article saying the impeachment of Donald Trump starts now. They’ve been working on this, my friend, for more than three years.”

“Truth be told, this is an infamous day, this is a very sad day,” added Gorka of impeachment, “because the damage the Democrats have wrought to the second-greatest power congress has — after declaring war in another country, which is the removal of an incumbent president — that damage may take generations, if not longer, to heal.” (Read more from “Gorka: Democrats Turned to Impeachment as Their ‘Platform of Extremism’ Made Them Un-Electable in 2020” HERE)

Trump Isn’t Impeached Until the House Tells the Senate; Piers Morgan GOES OFF on ‘Dumb Celebrities’, Liberals; Impeach Him If You Like, but for the Love of God, Stop Pretending You Care About the Constitution

By The Blaze. British TV host Piers Morgan fired off a blistering op-ed in the Daily Mail on Thursday, condemning never-Trumpers for playing right into the Trump administration’s hands. . .

Morgan’s fiery article, titled, “It’s a Merry Impeachmas alright — but for President Trump, not the deluded Democrats, dumb liberal celebrities and shockingly-biased media who don’t understand that this will get him re-elected,” is lighting up the internet. . .

Morgan also took aim at liberal celebrities celebrating across social media with an unmatched glee — as if they actually understood what was happening.

“What are you clueless clowns all celebrating?” he wrote. “Are you just too dumb to see what’s actually happening here? Do you not understand it all ends in a big loss for Trump-haters and a big win for Trump?” . . .

“His base will fire up even more than they already are, the Democrat base will fire down in abject dismay, and all the momentum for the 2020 Election will swing behind the President,” he reasoned. “If the US economy continues to roar in the way it’s currently doing, with stock markets hitting record highs and unemployment numbers hitting record lows, then Trump will storm towards another win next November like an unstoppable King Kong.” (Read more from “Piers Morgan Says ‘Deluded Democrats, Dumb Liberal Celebrities, Shockingly-Biased Media’ Don’t Understand Impeachment Will Get Trump Re-Elected” HERE)

Trump Isn’t Impeached Until the House Tells the Senate

By Bloomberg. that the House of Representatives has voted to impeach President Donald Trump, what is the constitutional status of the two articles of impeachment? Must they be transmitted to the Senate to trigger a trial, or could they be held back by the House until the Senate decides what the trial will look like, as Speaker Nancy Pelosi has hinted?

The Constitution doesn’t say how fast the articles must go to the Senate. Some modest delay is not inconsistent with the Constitution, or how both chambers usually work.

But an indefinite delay would pose a serious problem. Impeachment as contemplated by the Constitution does not consist merely of the vote by the House, but of the process of sending the articles to the Senate for trial. Both parts are necessary to make an impeachment under the Constitution: The House must actually send the articles and send managers to the Senate to prosecute the impeachment. And the Senate must actually hold a trial.

If the House does not communicate its impeachment to the Senate, it hasn’t actually impeached the president. If the articles are not transmitted, Trump could legitimately say that he wasn’t truly impeached at all. (Read more from “Trump Isn’t Impeached Until the House Tells the Senate” HERE)

Impeach Him If You Like, but for the Love of God, Stop Pretending You Care About the Constitution

By National Review. Perhaps Donald Trump deserves to be impeached for his Ukrainian adventure. Heck, maybe he deserves to be impeached for sending that insanely entertaining letter yesterday. But those are political considerations for Democrats. Impeaching the president isn’t a Constitutional imperative. Nor is it a patriotic obligation. Democrats, who today ludicrously wrap themselves in the patina of “rule of law,” know this well. Not very long ago, they were rationalizing and cheerleading unprecedented abuses of power under the Obama administration. And they’ll be cheerleading for more abuses of the Constitution the next time they win the White House.

Nancy Pelosi can dress in black, recite the Pledge of Allegiance, and act as if this impeachment is her solemn obligation, but everyone saw the Democratic party’s hysterical reaction to the 2016 election. Everyone saw dozens of candidates running in 2018 — either implicitly, but most often explicitly — on getting rid of the president. Just last week we learned that people within our intelligence agencies subverted the law to help Democrats concoct a three-year national panic meant to undermine the veracity of a fair election.

“The Republic is why we are here today. We are custodians of the Constitution. A Republic by the people for the people,” writes one Eric Swalwall, a man who once pondered the possibility of nuking Americans who demanded to practice their Second Amendment rights. Trump-era liberals had argued for the abolition of the Electoral College long before they were pretending to care about Ukrainian autonomy. Democrats were talking about stacking the Supreme Court long before any whistleblower showed up. If your contention is that the Constitution protects abortion on demand through the ninth month but are fine with undermining property rights, gun rights, religious freedom, and any meaningful separation of power, you’re not a custodian of the Constitution, you’re partisan with an agenda. So do what you must. But it’s been insufferable watching you playact sentinel of the American Republic — whose presumptions, institutions, documents, and Founders you don’t really seem to like very much. The Deep State Resistance Terrorized Innocent Americans; Pardoned Ex-Soldier Fuels Trump’s ‘Deep State’ Talk

By Daily Caller. Ever since Donald J. Trump was elected to Make America Great Again, the self-declared #Resistance has terrorized him and many innocent Americans. . .

Today’s Resistance more closely resembles the 18th century French Revolution type – a ruthless mob orchestrated by elites which toppled the government and terrorized countless French citizens for a decade. Their hatred was so deep they even beheaded the statues at Notre Dame Cathedral and the Palais Des Papes in Avignon, home to the 14th century popes and the seat of Western Christianity.

Then, as now, the Resistance’s rallying cries were based on false claims and similar smear campaigns. In Paris, Queen Marie Antoinette was rumored to have said if the poor had no bread, “let them eat cake.” Yet that was an anti-royal trope in France for over a century and there’s no evidence she said it.

In our times, the equivalent rabble-rousing slander is that the Trump Campaign “colluded” with Russia to steal the 2016 election. Though fortunately the guillotine is no longer fashionable, the Resistance still wages terror. Judicially. Financially. Psychologically. . .

Tragically, President Trump along with 50-plus associates have been subjected to a three-year reign of terror from our own government, press and public over a politically motivated hoax. (Read more from “The Deep State Resistance Terrorized Innocent Americans” HERE)

Pardoned Ex-Soldier Fuels Trump’s ‘Deep State’ Talk About U.S. Military

By Business Insider. It’s been nearly a month since Clint Lorance, the 35-year-old former US Army first lieutenant who was convicted of war crimes and later pardoned by President Donald Trump, emerged from military prison at Ft. Leavenworth in Kansas to the greetings of his family. . .

Throughout his presidency, Trump and his ardent supporters have fueled the so-called “deep state” theory — a term lifted from coup-prone Turkish politics about the military who’ve overthrown elected leaders — and pointed to the steady stream of unflattering leaks from unnamed law enforcement and intelligence officials as unmistakable proof.

For the first time, Trump recently expanded the theory to include the Defense Department.

“Just this week, I stuck up for three great warriors against the deep state,” Trump said at a Florida campaign rally in November. “And you know what I’m talking about.” . . .

In the interview, Lorance agreed with Trump’s sentiment and said he believed that “senior bureaucrats in the Pentagon who believe they do not answer to the electorate” were also members of the so-called deep state conspiracy. Evangelical Leaders Confront Christianity Today’s Support for Trump Impeachment

More than one hundred influential evangelical Christian leaders sent a letter to the president of the far left magazine Christianity Today, chastising him for publishing a commentary on Thursday calling for the removal of President Trump.

The letter, addressed to Christianity Today president Timothy Dalrymple on Sunday, was signed by well know evangelical Christians, including Dr. James Dobson, former Gov. Mike Huckabee, former head of the Family Research Council Gary Bauer, author Eric Metaxas, and pastors Robert Morris, Tommy Barnett, and Jentezen Franklin.

“We write collectively to express our dissatisfaction with the editorial Christianity Today published on Thursday, December 19, 2019 calling for the removal of our duly elected President, who was put into office at the behest of over sixty million voters,” the letter began.

“The editorial you published, without any meaningful and immediate regard for dissenting points of view, not only supported the entirely-partisan, legally-dubious, and politically-motivated impeachment but went even further, calling for Donald Trump not to be elected again in 2020 when he certainly survives impeachment,” the signatories wrote in the letter.

“Your editorial offensively questioned the spiritual integrity and Christian witness of tens-of-millions of believers who take seriously their civic and moral obligations. It not only targeted our President; it also targeted those of us who support him, and have supported you,” the letter added. Nancy Pelosi Invites Trump to Deliver State of the Union Address

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has invited President Donald Trump to deliver a State of the Union address on February 4th, 2020 — just 48 hours after leading the House Democrats’ partisan impeachment inquiry.

“In their great wisdom, our Founders crafted a Constitution based on a system of separation of powers: three co-equal branches acting as checks on each other. To ensure that balance of powers, the Constitution calls for the president to ‘from time to time give to the Congress Information of the State of the Union,’” Pelosi wrote in a letter to the president on Friday.

“In the spirit of respecting our Constitution, I invite you to deliver your State of the Union address before a Joint Session of Congress on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 in the Chamber of the U.S. House of Representatives,” the California Democrat added.

The invitation comes as Pelosi remains noncommittal about when she will send the impeachment articles — abuse of power and obstruction of Congress — to the Senate for a trial. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) met Thursday to discuss potential parameters of a trial, though they did not come to an agreement before leaving Washington, D.C., for Christmas. Establishment Hack “Judge” Napolitano Says There’s Undisputed Evidence Trump Abused Power (VIDEO)

Fox News legal analyst Judge Andrew Napolitano said evidence that President Donald Trump abused his presidential powers was “undisputed” in an article published Wednesday in The Washington Times.

Impeachment proceedings against Trump are expected to be passed by the House of Representatives Wednesday night.

“High crimes and misdemeanors is a basis for impeachment, the constitutional remedy for presidential behavior that subverts our democratic institutions,” Napolitano wrote. “In Mr. Trump’s case, we have undisputed evidence that he abused his power by inviting a foreign government to interfere in the 2020 presidential election and then compounded this by directing subordinates to refrain from giving congressionally commanded evidence of his behavior.”

Napolitano cited three reports from the Department of Justice (DOJ) regarding the law of presidential prosecutions written during the investigations into presidents Richard Nixon and Bill Clinton. Two of the reports came to the conclusion that “no president could be charged or prosecuted while in office.”

Biden Breaks Down in Tears at Fundraiser Over ‘Ugly’ 2020 Fight With Trump

Joe Biden cried at a Delaware campaign fundraiser and said he is preparing for an “ugly” fight against President Trump in a general election.

“This is going to be really difficult,” Biden said Tuesday in Wilmington, Delaware, according to a pool report. “But we’re strong. The whole family is strong. I don’t take well to bullies.”

The former vice president and his son Hunter Biden, 49, are a key element of the impeachment proceedings against Trump due to Hunter Biden’s role on the board of Ukrainian gas company Burisma while Joe Biden spearheaded U.S. policy toward Ukraine. Trump asked the Ukrainian president to investigate the arrangement, prompting House Democrats to pursue impeachment on the basis of abusing power to influence a foreign government to harm a political rival. . .

About a minute into his speech, Biden cried and dabbed his eye, explaining that he was “little emotional” being back in the state that he represented in the Senate for 36 years and among those who stood by him when there was a “target” on him early in his campaign.

“The way the African American community has stuck by me in this state is absolutely amazing,” Biden said, referencing scrutiny over his work with segregationist senators in the 1970s. California Sen. Kamala Harris, who ended her presidential bid earlier this month, criticized Biden in a June presidential primary debate for his opposition to busing. Trump Campaign Raised More Than $5 Million on Day of Impeachment; Here’s How Tulsi Gabbard Voted on Impeachment

By Daily Caller. President Donald Trump’s presidential campaign said Wednesday night that it raised over $5 million on the day House Democrats voted to impeach the president.

The president “has raised over 5M dollars (still growing) today as Americans use their wallet to show support against @SpeakerPelosi’s impeachment hoax!” Brad Parscale, Trump’s campaign manager, wrote in a tweet following the vote. . .

Parscale linked to a website the Trump campaign created to collect donations for the president’s reelection bid. (Read more from “Trump Campaign Raised More Than $5 Million on Day of Impeachment” HERE)

Tulsi Gabbard Votes ‘Present’ at Impeachment Vote Against Trump

By Daily Caller. Democratic Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard on Wednesday voted “present” during the vote to impeach President Donald Trump, after saying earlier in the week she would be in favor of censuring him.

“I am standing in the center and have decided to vote Present. I could not in good conscience vote against impeachment because I believe President Trump is guilty of wrongdoing. I also could not in good conscience vote for impeachment because removal of a sitting President must not be the culmination of a partisan process, fueled by tribal animosities that have so gravely divided our country,” Gabbard said in an emailed statement.

“When I cast my vote in support of the impeachment inquiry nearly three months ago, I said that in order to maintain the integrity of this solemn undertaking, it must not be a partisan endeavor. Tragically, that’s what it has been,” Gabbard continued.

Gabbard announced Tuesday that she is still undecided on impeaching President Trump and reportedly that she would vote to censure him. Reporters had been speculating all day on wether Gabbard would vote, as she was not seen on the House floor and was not responding to press inquiries. She was the only Democrat to vote “present.” (Read more from “Tulsi Gabbard Votes ‘Present’ at Impeachment Vote Against Trump” HERE)

How Trump Convinced a Democrat to Switch Parties

President Donald Trump and Republican Party reportedly engaged in a six-week campaign to convince Rep. Jeff Van Drew (D-NJ) to leave the Democratic Party and to become a Republican and also attempted to get a second Democrat to leave the party.

After Van Drew voted against the Democrats’ impeachment inquiry in October, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, a California Republican, approached Van Drew and told him that Trump wanted him to become a Republican.

“But McCarthy also had a threat for Van Drew — Republicans ‘were going to beat you anyway,’ he warned,” Politico reported. “Trump won Van Drew’s South Jersey district by nearly 5 points in 2016, and GOP leaders were already heavily targeting the seat next year.”

The six-week campaign, which was described by Politico as a “stealth effort,” reportedly involved discussions with former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie and White House counselor Kellyanne Conway, who is from Van Drew’s district.

“McCarthy kept on reaching out to Van Drew, as did other House Republicans. Van Drew and Trump exchanged several phone calls in the past couple of weeks, brokered in part by McCarthy,” Politico continued. “Trump and McCarthy argued that Van Drew would be better off in the GOP. And they also noted that Van Drew’s old New Jersey state Senate seat, which overlaps with his congressional district, had been carried by Republicans in recent Garden State elections.” (Read more from “How Trump Convinced a Democrat to Switch Parties” HERE)

If Trump Signs Omnibus Bills, He’ll Lose His Last Legislative Leverage

It’s become an annual ritual before Christmas. Both parties, despite the fake wrestling of soap opera politics, come together to increase spending and add special interest policy riders into a 2,000-page omnibus bill dropped hours before a vote is conducted, while nothing in the bill addresses the core challenges of our time that matter most to the citizenry. This occurs whether Republicans control one, two, or all three branches of the legislative process.

Yesterday afternoon, the bipartisan oligarchy dropped the omnibus bills to fund all of government for the remainder of fiscal year 2020. Unlike past years, lawmakers divided it into two pieces of legislation – a 540-page bill funding Defense, Homeland Security, and the Justice Department, and a separate 1,773-page bill funding the rest of government. They are also expected to add hundreds of pages of special-interest tax carve-outs for various industries, known as “tax extenders.” Rather than pushing for a continuing resolution to keep the status quo through the Christmas break so we can have a national debate over the broader priorities, Trump is being pressured to sign away the remaining leverage of his term. Now is the time for him to discover his veto pen.

In February, Trump mistakenly agreed to an omnibus bill rather than pushing another short-term CR, which would have set up a funding fight after the DHS announced a state of emergency at the border in March. During the initial government shutdown, the border crisis was still too subtle, so Democrats were able to deny the need for more immigration enforcement and a border wall. That would have changed had he just signed a short-term extension. The same principle applies now. No matter what happens in our country that proves the need for more ICE and wall funding, Trump will not have leverage with a funding deadline, because these bills will keep government funded for the remainder of the year.

Is Trump’s payback against the Democrats’ unprecedented vote of impeachment against him to sign their budget bills on the very same day?

Let’s review just a handful of major problems with these bills juxtaposed to Trump’s campaign promises:

The bills increase the deficit by another $390 billion on top of the increases from previous years, placing spending levels well above Trump’s budget proposals in every year. The bills contain record funding for the Institutes of Health, Head Start, Title I education funds for low-income children and Child Care and Development grants, all programs the president promised to slash. EPA funding is massively increased to $9 billion, greater than the budget of ICE, which oversees 3.3 million illegal aliens. Federal workers get a 3.1 percent pay raise, on par with that of the military.

The bills throw record funds at surveillance programs to monitor and limit opioid prescriptions and line the pockets of the drug treatment cartel at the same time they ignore the true source and nature of the polydrug crisis coming from illegal immigration and the border.

While they dramatically increase spending for bureaucracies like the Department of Education, they don’t increase spending for the most needed function – immigration enforcement. ICE badly needs more detention space and agents for deportations.

While these bills contain numerous policy changes across the board, they do nothing to change policy on the civilization issues plaguing our country at present. For example, they contain nothing to refocus the mission of our military to an America-first agenda, they contain nothing about arming soldiers on bases, and they contain nothing to quell the national emergency of states rebelling against immigration law. Nor do they contain a single provision pushing the courts out of a single issue they have illegally grabbed for themselves that are threatening the core of our sovereignty. This is the albatross around Trump’s neck if he hopes to accomplish anything in a second term.

The bills codify for another year the MS-13 trafficking loophole provision that was first inserted in the February bill. They prospectively invite illegal alien relatives to traffic their kids via cartels and then be reunited with them at taxpayer expense, and the reward for doing so is that ICE cannot deport the sponsors. As I reported before, this provision is responsible for the increase in teens coming here and is one of the lynchpins to MS-13 recruitment. This provision alone should be enough to veto the bills.

Section 704 appears to invite illegal aliens to apply for federal jobs. Democrats have been trying to get DACA recipients into the federal workforce for the past few years, and this provision adds a qualification of “or is a person who owes allegiance to the United States.” What does that mean, and who determines it? The bill continues, “Affidavits signed by any such person shall be considered prima facie evidence that the requirements of this section with respect to his or her status are being complied with.” This was another bad provision concocted in the 2018 omnibus that remains.

Section 405 creates a position called “Immigration Detention Ombudsman.” The entire purpose of this position it to monitor and harass ICE agents over the treatment of illegal aliens. Nothing in these bills demands accountability and reporting on illegal alien crime and enforcement of our laws. The entire tenor of this section is premised on illegal aliens being the victims and ICE agents being the criminals.

The bigger omnibus bill (p. 43), which doesn’t even include DHS funding, offers the DHS the opportunity to double the number of H-2B non-agricultural, unskilled seasonal workers who will continue to be a public charge on America. The current acting DHS secretary, Chad Wolf, was a worker visa lobbyist and is sympathetic to these expansions.

The only major policy changes in the bills are all for special interests. They renew the corporate welfare Export-Import Bank, which subsidizes countries like Saudi Arabia to purchase Boeing products. They repeal the Obamacare tax increases, which might sound like a good thing, but it’s the worst of all worlds. The bills contain a host of reauthorizations and expansions of all the subsidy programs under Obamacare and Medicaid expansion. They also bar some of the recent regulatory reforms Trump imposed on Obamacare. That is the heart and soul of Obamacare, and it is codified and expanded. Simply repealing the funding mechanism, aka the tax increases, will just add to the deficit. Moreover, it plays into the hands of the health care cartels by giving them the one thing they want so they can now fully embrace Obamacare without reservation, dashing any hope of marshaling industry press for repeal of meaningful portions of the law. The bills also expand the federal Medicaid matching funds for U.S. territories by roughly 50 percent. This is what I call “low-tax socialism” at its best.

Shockingly, the bills also contain an earth-shattering policy change, raising the age to purchase tobacco products to 21. This was a pet peeve of Mitch McConnell. So, while there was no motivation to fight back against states violating federal immigration law, McConnell grabbed for the federal government one issue that legitimately should be set by states. Moreover, as we continue to send out our 18-year olds to die for nothing in Afghanistan in a war that began before they were born, they won’t even be old enough to smoke. Also, despite the release of the Afghanistan papers showing the perfidy surrounding the Afghani military training, these bills add another $4.2 billion for training the Afghani military.

On March 23, 2018, after Trump reluctantly signed two consecutive budget bills increasing spending and jettisoning his immigration priorities, he promised he would “never again” sign bills like that, especially massive bills with multiple policy changes released just hours before a vote. “But I say to Congress: I will never sign another bill like this again,” warned the president in March 2018. “I’m not going to do it again. Nobody read it. It’s only hours old. Some people don’t even know what is in — $1.3 trillion — it’s the second largest ever.”

Well, he violated that pledge for FY 2019. Now is the time to fulfill his pledge against a $1.4 trillion omnibus that includes a massive amnesty provision for MS-13 recruitment and does nothing to deal with sanctuary cities that are dismantling all of his gains on immigration.
