Left Blames Trump for Hanukkah Stabbing Attack in New York

In the 24 hours since a man attacked a Hanukkah celebration in Monsey, New York, the left is blaming Donald Trump for inciting the kind of antisemitism that led to the crime. Grafton Thomas was arrested for stabbing five people and has been charged with multiple counts of attempted murder, but some are targeting Trump. . .

“Some House Democrats singled out the president for criticism, arguing that he has been insufficiently clear in denouncing anti-Semitism and has frequently perpetuated offensive stereotypes about Jewish people.

Earlier this month, Trump prompted an outcry from Jewish groups after he delivered a speech in which he sought to convince a Jewish audience that they had “no choice” but to vote for him or else they would lose money to Democratic presidential contenders’ wealth tax plans. He also said some Jews “don’t love Israel enough,” echoing a previous statement in which he questioned the loyalty of Jews who vote for Democrats.

The article named one Democrat who blamed Trump directly: Rep. Steve Cohen (D-TN), another frequent critic of Trump, shared a tweet by a New York-based comedian who argued that the Monsey attack followed “3 years of anti-semitism from the Trump Administration.”

“So sad but predictable. His conduct has made unacceptable conduct acceptable,” Cohen said, appearing to blame Trump in part for the recent rise in attacks against Jewish people and members of other minority groups across the country. “It will take decades to cure.”

Trump Retweets Link to Article Naming the Alleged CIA ‘Whistleblower’; President Fires off Post-Christmas Tweetstorm Over Impeachment

By Breitbart. President Trump on Thursday retweeted a Trump campaign tweet that contained a link to an article that named the alleged Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) “whistleblower,” whose complaint catalyzed House Democrats’ drive towards impeachment.

The tweet, by @TrumpWarRoom, was in response to the “whistleblower’s” lawyer Mark Zaid, who said senators should “protect #whistleblowers, not attack them.”

The Trump campaign account responded, “The CIA ‘whistleblower’ is not a real whistleblower!” and posted a link to a Washington Examiner article, which named the alleged whistleblower Eric Ciaramella:

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff hired a former National Security Council aide who worked with alleged Ukraine whistleblower Eric Ciaramella at the NSC during the Obama and Trump administrations the day after the phone call between President Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Ciaramella is a 33-year-old CIA analyst who works on Ukraine and Russia. He previously served at the National Security Council during the Obama administration, when former Vice President Joe Biden was the point person for Ukraine. Trump Fires off Post-Christmas Tweetstorm Over Impeachment Impasse

By NBC News. President Donald Trump fired off a stream of post-Christmas tweets Thursday blasting Democrats, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., and her San Francisco congressional district amid the impeachment impasse.

“The Radical Left, Do Nothing Democrats said they wanted to RUSH everything through to the Senate because ‘President Trump is a threat to National Security’ (they are vicious, will say anything!), but now they don’t want to go fast anymore, they want to go very slowly,” Trump tweeted. “Liars!”

The president attacked Pelosi’s congressional district as “filthy dirty” and “one of the worst anywhere in the U.S.” Calling Pelosi “crazy,” Trump also suggested she should face a 2020 primary challenge.

The president then lamented how “much more difficult” it is “to deal with foreign leaders (and others)” amid impeachment.

Dem Rep. Claims ‘Tyranny’ If Trump Is Not Restrained, Defends Murkowski; “GOP” Sen. Murkowski Using ‘Democratic Talking Points’ on Trump Impeachment

By Breitbart. . .[Rep Lloyd] Doggett said, “There is a reason to at least think a little bit about whether there will be a fair trial here, or for the first time in American history, to have an impeachment trial with no witnesses, which seems to be what McConnell is saying. So I’m pleased that Senator Murkowski spoke up on this.” . . .

He added, “I think it’s also noteworthy with Senator Murkowski and the other Senators that unlike the normal proceedings in the Senate, where Senator McConnell can block consideration of gun safety or equality or voter protection legislation that we passed in the House, here every senator is equal. So each senator will have to decide, do they want a fair proceeding where witnesses are called, or do they only want to rubber-stamp the White House? And I think each of those senators will be held accountable, depending on what they decide about that. I think the only thing more outrageous these days in Washington than President Trump and his fearful tweets are those Republicans who have enabled him to do this and to take a little more freedom and a little more freedom until we have a tyranny here if he is not restrained.” (Read more from “Dem Rep. Claims ‘Tyranny’ If Trump Is Not Restrained, Defends Murkowski” HERE)

Jason Riley: GOP Sen. Murkowski using ‘Democratic talking points’ on Trump impeachment trial

By Fox News. Alaska Republican Sen. Lisa Murkowski wrongly used “Democratic talking points” when she criticized Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s comments about how he would run President Trump’s pending impeachment trial, Fox News contributor Jason Riley said Thursday.

Murkowski took exception to comments McConnell, R-Ky., made during an interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity earlier this month, in which he promised to be in “coordination” with the White House, should House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., submit the two articles of impeachment to the Senate.

“When I heard that, I was disturbed,” Murkowski told KTUU in an interview that aired Tuesday evening. “To me, it means that we have to take that step back from being hand in glove with the defense. And so, I heard what Leader McConnell had said, I happened to think that that has further confused the process.”

Riley, a Wall Street Journal editorial board member, said on “Special Report” that Murkowski indeed has been known for her “independent streak” as a more-moderate GOP senator. . .

Riley continued, “I do wish she would stop using Democratic talking points to make the argument that she is making. The fact of the matter here is that the House’s job is done and this idea that they should have any say in how the Senate conducts this trial just is not supported by what is written in black-and-white in the Constitution.” (Read more from “Jason Riley: GOP Sen. Here’s Who Trump Blames for Being Cut out of Home Alone 2

President Donald Trump blamed Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Thursday amid news that his scene in the popular Christmas movie “Home Alone 2” was cut out in showings by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC). . .

The CBC told the Daily Caller on Thursday that they cut Trump’s cameo in the film because it wasn’t integral to the plot, and added that the decision had nothing to do with politics.

“As is often the case with feature films adapted for television, Home Alone 2 was edited for time,” Chuck Thompson, head of public affairs for CBC, told the Caller. “The scene with Donald Trump was one of several that were cut from the movie as none of them were integral to plot.” (Read more from “Here’s Who Trump Blames for Being Cut out of Home Alone 2” HERE)

Trump’s Economy: Super Saturday Recorded Highest Sales of Any Day in U.S. History; Democrats Claim Most Americans Don’t Benefit From Booming Trump Economy – but Voters Know They Do

By Daily Wire. More evidence of the strong U.S. economy during the Trump administration came over last weekend, as sales across the country on Saturday reached the highest level ever recorded.

Bloomberg reported, “Holiday shopping set records over the weekend, with Super Saturday sales reaching $34.4 billion, the biggest single day in U.S. retail history, according to Customer Growth Partners.” Craig Johnson, president of Customer Growth Partners, credited job growth and the abundance of disposable income for the record-setting day, adding, “Paced by the ‘Big Four’ mega-retailers — Walmart, Amazon, Costco and Target — Super Saturday was boosted by the best traffic our team has seen in years.”

Johnson noted that 58% of the increase in sales could be attributed to sales online. On Black Friday 2019, the day after Thanksgiving, the nation recorded $31.2 billion; on Saturday, December 14, the level reached $28.1 billion, and Cyber Monday, the Monday after Thanksgiving, the level of sales reached $19.1 billion. Andy Puzder: Democrats Claim Most Americans Don’t Benefit From Booming Trump Economy – but Voters Know They Do

By Fox News. The American people have a lot to celebrate this holiday season, thanks to the booming Trump economy – and polls prove they know it, despite the false claims of Democratic presidential candidates that only the rich are benefitting from President Trump’s policies.

According to Fidelity Investments’ 2020 New Year Financial Resolutions Study released earlier this month, 82 percent of Americans say they’re in a similar or better financial position this year than last. And 78 percent believe they will be even better off next year.

A new CNN poll conducted by SSRS found that 76 percent of Americans rate current economic conditions as positive – the highest percentage since February 2001.

Since August, the percentages of Americans with this positive view have increased significantly. Some 97 percent of Republicans, 75 percent of independents and even 62 percent of Democrats now view our economic conditions positively. Those are incredibly high numbers.

As for the next year, 68 percent of Americans expect our economy to be in good shape a year from now – the best showing in CNN’s polling since December 2003. (Read more from “Andy Puzder: Democrats Claim Most Americans Don’t Benefit From Booming Trump Economy – but Voters Know They Do” HERE)

After FBI Abuse Exposed, Will President Trump Pardon Roger Stone?

Speaking to reporters at Mar-a-Lago Tuesday, President Trump was asked if he plans to pardon General Michael Flynn and Roger Stone.

“I haven’t thought about it,” President Trump said. “He got hit very hard as did General Flynn and a lot of other people. And now they are finding out it was all a hoax.”

While Stone didn’t officially work on the Trump campaign, he worked closely with the campaign and a number of political figures in 2016 to get Trump elected. General Flynn worked on the campaign and served as President Trump’s National Security Advisor at the beginning of his White House tenure.

The questions about pardons come after the FBI was exposed by Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz for rampant wrong doing while obtaining FISA warrants on the Trump campaign. In a rare public statement, the FISA court called into question the FBI’s application process for all warrants. Horowitz also revealed in a lengthy report about the abuse that FBI agents used defensive briefings to gather intelligence on Flynn during the campaign. SHOCK: Inspector General Report Reveals FBI Had Informants Inside the Trump Campaign

By Daily Wire. A recently released Department of Justice Inspector General report, examining the role of the FBI in efforts to wiretap and investigate the Trump 2016 presidential campaign and Trump 2016 transition team, and whether the FBI acted improperly when petitioning the FISA courts to spy on the effort without a warrant, revealed that the FBI had informants within the Trump campaign itself.

The Washington Times reports that the FBI informants, who tried to get close to Trump campaign aides Carter Page and George Papadopolous, came up empty despite repeated attempts to bait both Page and Papadopolous into connecting with Russian operatives who, the informants told the pair, could provide “incriminating” Hillary Clinton emails.

“The report discloses that the FBI dispatched against Trump allies multiple unnamed FBI informants known as confidential human sources (CHS). The most publicized was Stefan Halper, a longtime Washington national security figure and Cambridge University professor,” the outlet reported. “He ingratiated himself to George Papadopoulos and Carter Page, while also attempting to engage with a senior Trump campaign official in New York.”

The Inspector General reports that the FBI informants recorded entire conversations with both Papadopolous and Page, but that the content of these recordings could be considered evidence that neither aide engaged with Russian operatives: “Mr. Halper recorded conversations that could be seen as exculpatory.”

The Inspector General also “rapped” the FBI, the Times reports, for failing to include the recorded conversations in petitions sent to the FISA courts requesting the warrantless wiretaps. Such an error makes the petitions incomplete, he said, and biased the court towards granting the FBI permission to spy on Trump operatives. Gorka: Democrats Turned to Impeachment as Their ‘Platform of Extremism’ Made Them Un-Electable in 2020

By Breitbart. Former Deputy Assistant to President Donald Trump Sebastian Gorka told Breitbart News on Thursday that because the Democrats now “have a platform of extremism,” they know they are unable to win in a fair election, which is why they’ve turned to impeaching the president.

Gorka told Breitbart News on Thursday that the crime President Trump has committed was defeating Hillary Clinton, “and they’re never going to forgive him for that, so they’re trying to nullify the will of 63 million Americans in 2016.”

Breitbart News caught up with the former White House aide on Thursday, after he addressed thousands of young conservatives at Turning Point USA’s fifth annual Student Action Summit in West Palm Beach, Florida.

“Let’s not forget,” said Gorka, “nineteen minutes after I became deputy assistant to the president — after my boss put up his hand and was sworn in as the 45th president of the United States — the Washington Post wrote an article saying the impeachment of Donald Trump starts now. They’ve been working on this, my friend, for more than three years.”

“Truth be told, this is an infamous day, this is a very sad day,” added Gorka of impeachment, “because the damage the Democrats have wrought to the second-greatest power congress has — after declaring war in another country, which is the removal of an incumbent president — that damage may take generations, if not longer, to heal.” (Read more from “Gorka: Democrats Turned to Impeachment as Their ‘Platform of Extremism’ Made Them Un-Electable in 2020” HERE)

Trump Isn’t Impeached Until the House Tells the Senate; Piers Morgan GOES OFF on ‘Dumb Celebrities’, Liberals; Impeach Him If You Like, but for the Love of God, Stop Pretending You Care About the Constitution

By The Blaze. British TV host Piers Morgan fired off a blistering op-ed in the Daily Mail on Thursday, condemning never-Trumpers for playing right into the Trump administration’s hands. . .

Morgan’s fiery article, titled, “It’s a Merry Impeachmas alright — but for President Trump, not the deluded Democrats, dumb liberal celebrities and shockingly-biased media who don’t understand that this will get him re-elected,” is lighting up the internet. . .

Morgan also took aim at liberal celebrities celebrating across social media with an unmatched glee — as if they actually understood what was happening.

“What are you clueless clowns all celebrating?” he wrote. “Are you just too dumb to see what’s actually happening here? Do you not understand it all ends in a big loss for Trump-haters and a big win for Trump?” . . .

“His base will fire up even more than they already are, the Democrat base will fire down in abject dismay, and all the momentum for the 2020 Election will swing behind the President,” he reasoned. “If the US economy continues to roar in the way it’s currently doing, with stock markets hitting record highs and unemployment numbers hitting record lows, then Trump will storm towards another win next November like an unstoppable King Kong.” (Read more from “Piers Morgan Says ‘Deluded Democrats, Dumb Liberal Celebrities, Shockingly-Biased Media’ Don’t Understand Impeachment Will Get Trump Re-Elected” HERE)

Trump Isn’t Impeached Until the House Tells the Senate

By Bloomberg. that the House of Representatives has voted to impeach President Donald Trump, what is the constitutional status of the two articles of impeachment? Must they be transmitted to the Senate to trigger a trial, or could they be held back by the House until the Senate decides what the trial will look like, as Speaker Nancy Pelosi has hinted?

The Constitution doesn’t say how fast the articles must go to the Senate. Some modest delay is not inconsistent with the Constitution, or how both chambers usually work.

But an indefinite delay would pose a serious problem. Impeachment as contemplated by the Constitution does not consist merely of the vote by the House, but of the process of sending the articles to the Senate for trial. Both parts are necessary to make an impeachment under the Constitution: The House must actually send the articles and send managers to the Senate to prosecute the impeachment. And the Senate must actually hold a trial.

If the House does not communicate its impeachment to the Senate, it hasn’t actually impeached the president. If the articles are not transmitted, Trump could legitimately say that he wasn’t truly impeached at all. (Read more from “Trump Isn’t Impeached Until the House Tells the Senate” HERE)

Impeach Him If You Like, but for the Love of God, Stop Pretending You Care About the Constitution

By National Review. Perhaps Donald Trump deserves to be impeached for his Ukrainian adventure. Heck, maybe he deserves to be impeached for sending that insanely entertaining letter yesterday. But those are political considerations for Democrats. Impeaching the president isn’t a Constitutional imperative. Nor is it a patriotic obligation. Democrats, who today ludicrously wrap themselves in the patina of “rule of law,” know this well. Not very long ago, they were rationalizing and cheerleading unprecedented abuses of power under the Obama administration. And they’ll be cheerleading for more abuses of the Constitution the next time they win the White House.

Nancy Pelosi can dress in black, recite the Pledge of Allegiance, and act as if this impeachment is her solemn obligation, but everyone saw the Democratic party’s hysterical reaction to the 2016 election. Everyone saw dozens of candidates running in 2018 — either implicitly, but most often explicitly — on getting rid of the president. Just last week we learned that people within our intelligence agencies subverted the law to help Democrats concoct a three-year national panic meant to undermine the veracity of a fair election.

“The Republic is why we are here today. We are custodians of the Constitution. A Republic by the people for the people,” writes one Eric Swalwall, a man who once pondered the possibility of nuking Americans who demanded to practice their Second Amendment rights. Trump-era liberals had argued for the abolition of the Electoral College long before they were pretending to care about Ukrainian autonomy. Democrats were talking about stacking the Supreme Court long before any whistleblower showed up. If your contention is that the Constitution protects abortion on demand through the ninth month but are fine with undermining property rights, gun rights, religious freedom, and any meaningful separation of power, you’re not a custodian of the Constitution, you’re partisan with an agenda. So do what you must. But it’s been insufferable watching you playact sentinel of the American Republic — whose presumptions, institutions, documents, and Founders you don’t really seem to like very much. The Deep State Resistance Terrorized Innocent Americans; Pardoned Ex-Soldier Fuels Trump’s ‘Deep State’ Talk

By Daily Caller. Ever since Donald J. Trump was elected to Make America Great Again, the self-declared #Resistance has terrorized him and many innocent Americans. . .

Today’s Resistance more closely resembles the 18th century French Revolution type – a ruthless mob orchestrated by elites which toppled the government and terrorized countless French citizens for a decade. Their hatred was so deep they even beheaded the statues at Notre Dame Cathedral and the Palais Des Papes in Avignon, home to the 14th century popes and the seat of Western Christianity.

Then, as now, the Resistance’s rallying cries were based on false claims and similar smear campaigns. In Paris, Queen Marie Antoinette was rumored to have said if the poor had no bread, “let them eat cake.” Yet that was an anti-royal trope in France for over a century and there’s no evidence she said it.

In our times, the equivalent rabble-rousing slander is that the Trump Campaign “colluded” with Russia to steal the 2016 election. Though fortunately the guillotine is no longer fashionable, the Resistance still wages terror. Judicially. Financially. Psychologically. . .

Tragically, President Trump along with 50-plus associates have been subjected to a three-year reign of terror from our own government, press and public over a politically motivated hoax. (Read more from “The Deep State Resistance Terrorized Innocent Americans” HERE)

Pardoned Ex-Soldier Fuels Trump’s ‘Deep State’ Talk About U.S. Military

By Business Insider. It’s been nearly a month since Clint Lorance, the 35-year-old former US Army first lieutenant who was convicted of war crimes and later pardoned by President Donald Trump, emerged from military prison at Ft. Leavenworth in Kansas to the greetings of his family. . .

Throughout his presidency, Trump and his ardent supporters have fueled the so-called “deep state” theory — a term lifted from coup-prone Turkish politics about the military who’ve overthrown elected leaders — and pointed to the steady stream of unflattering leaks from unnamed law enforcement and intelligence officials as unmistakable proof.

For the first time, Trump recently expanded the theory to include the Defense Department.

“Just this week, I stuck up for three great warriors against the deep state,” Trump said at a Florida campaign rally in November. “And you know what I’m talking about.” . . .

In the interview, Lorance agreed with Trump’s sentiment and said he believed that “senior bureaucrats in the Pentagon who believe they do not answer to the electorate” were also members of the so-called deep state conspiracy.
