Billionaire Hires Impeachment ‘Army’ to ‘Remove Trump from Power’

Liberal billionaire Tom Steyer, a friend and donor to Obama and Clinton, is hiring an army of more than 50 political operatives in a major campaign to help Democrats get control of the U.S. House this year and “remove Trump from power.”

“Need to Impeach” Founder Steyer, 60, announced Thursday that he is hiring a team of 50 political and communications strategists to coordinate his campaign. While Steyer launched his $20 million campaign to impeach Trump last year, he has now promised to double that amount and also spend $30 million on 2018 House races through his super PAC, NextGen America.

“The team, including 50 staff members, is adding thousands of new supporters to the impeachment movement each day, creating a digital army of activists who are mobilizing to take back the House of Representatives in the 2018 election and remove Trump from power,” read a Thursday statement from “Need to Impeach.”

Separately, House Democrats announced Thursday that they plan to target as many as 101 Republican-held congressional seats this year, the most in a decade.

Steyer, who was once considered for secretary of energy during the Obama administration, spent $10 million opposing Trump’s successful tax-reform package. He contributed about $90 million to Democratic Party candidates and causes in 2016. (Read more from “Billionaire Hires Impeachment ‘Army’ to ‘Remove Trump from Power'” HERE)

Former Trump Aide’s Ex-Wife Warns: If He Hasn’t Been Abusive with Hope Hicks Yet, He Will Be Soon

Jennie Willoughby, one of the ex-wives of former White House staff secretary Rob Porter, said that if Porter hasn’t already been abusive in his relationship with White House communications director Hope Hicks, he will be soon.

Reports emerged this week where Willoughby and another ex-wife of Porter accused him of being abusive in their marriages. Willoughby, who was married to Porter in 2009, told CNN anchor Anderson Cooper on Thursday that she doesn’t believe Porter has changed when asked if she thought Porter was different in his relationship with Hicks . . .

“It worries me for a lot of reasons, I mean it definitely worries me because if I’m being frank with you, if he hasn’t already been abusive with Hope, he will,” Willoughby said. “Particularly now that he’s under a lot of stress and scrutiny. That’s when the behaviors come out. And if he hasn’t already, he will.” . . .

Porter’s first wife, Colbie Holderness, then told the Daily Mail for a separate report published Wednesday that the former White House aide had punched her face, choked her, and other abuses. The second report featured a photo of his first wife with a black eye. (Read more from “Former Trump Aide’s Ex-Wife Warns: If He Hasn’t Been Abusive with Hope Hicks Yet, He Will Be Soon” HERE)

ICE to Trump: Don’t Cave on Border Security Promises

The National ICE Council sent a letter to President Donald Trump on Friday expressing its opposition to his administration’s proposed immigration plan.

The council, which endorsed Trump in the 2016 presidential election, argues against the White House’s four-point plan to address the issue of “dreamers” — illegal immigrants brought to the U.S. as children who were previously covered by the Obama-era Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program.

Trump’s plan provides a pathway to citizenship for DACA recipients and other illegal immigrants, while also setting aside billions of dollars in funding for security measures along the U.S.-Mexico border.

But according to ICE President Chris Crane, the plan doesn’t do enough to stop businesses from hiring illegal immigrants or crack down on sanctuary cities.

“We simply cannot in good faith support any legislative effort on immigration that does not include provisions regarding immigration detainers, sanctuary cities and the smuggling and trafficking of children across U.S. borders,” Crane wrote in the letter, according to The Washington Times.

“What you negotiate on immigration isn’t just a give and take negotiation,” the letter added, explaining that the proposed plan leaves “gaping holes” in ICE’s ability to protect the border.

“It sets the table for our nation’s immigration enforcement policies and strategy moving forward, and any critical enforcement measures bargained away potentially leaves gaping holes in law enforcement’s ability to provide for public safety and national security,” the letter reads.

Trump detailed his immigration plan last week in his State of the Union address.

Under the proposal, roughly 1.8 million illegal immigrants would essentially receive amnesty, but only if certain demands are met.

These demands include $25 billion for construction of a border wall and an end to the visa lottery and chain migration systems. Instead, Trump wants a merit-based program that prioritizes skilled immigrants who will contribute to American society.

As noted by The Times, Trump has touted the proposal as a compromise, with the White House saying that stronger enforcement measures will be implemented in the second phase of the plan.

Many Democrats, though, have rejected this proposal, arguing that the president is holding DACA recipients hostage.

Crane, on the other hand, thinks the immigration plan doesn’t go far enough. His organization, which represents 7,500 ICE employees, will not support amnesty for dreamers unless there is legislation that promises to immediately crack down on illegal immigration.

“We cannot and will not turn our backs on the victims of sanctuary cities and jurisdictions, and therefore cannot support any legislation that does not attempt to rectify this growing problem,” Crane wrote.

Republicans and Democrats on Capitol Hill have about a month to come up with a legislative solution to the DACA issue. Trump rescinded the Obama-era executive order in September 2017, giving Congress until March 5 to pass legislation addressing the fate of DACA recipients.

In the House of Representatives, many conservatives support an immigration bill put forward by Virginia GOP Rep Bob Goodlatte, the chairman of the Judiciary Committee.

That bill “would crack down on sanctuary cities, impose mandatory E-Verify on businesses, make it a crime to overstay a visitor’s visa and protect communities that cooperate in deportations,” The Times reported.

But in the Senate, it’s more difficult to rally support for hardline immigration legislation.

On Monday, Republican Sen. John McCain of Arizona and Democrat Sen. Chris Coons of Delaware proposed a bill that would protect young illegal immigrants from deportation. The legislation also increases border security, though it does not specifically contain funding for a wall.

However, in a Monday morning tweet, Trump seemed to reject this proposal on the basis that it “does not include STRONG border security and the desperately needed WALL.”

“Any deal on DACA that does not include STRONG border security and the desperately needed WALL is a total waste of time. March 5th is rapidly approaching and the Dems seem not to care about DACA. Make a deal!” the president tweeted. (For more from the author of “ICE to Trump: Don’t Cave on Border Security Promises” please click HERE)

9/11 Terrorist Is Suing Trump for ‘Psychological Torture’

A man convicted of being a conspirator in the Sept. 11 terror attacks is suing President Donald Trump over prison guidelines that have supposedly caused him psychological distress.

Zacarias Moussaoui, a 49-year-old French native of Moroccan descent, has filed handwritten petitions to federal courts in Colorado and Oklahoma accusing federal authorities of attempting to cover up information from Sept. 11.

However, as noted by Fox News, courts have dismissed a multitude of lawsuits introduced by the man.

In 2014, Moussaoui claimed in a lawsuit that he could offer insider information regarding al-Qaida. However, that lawsuit was also dismissed.

His most recent petition claims that the current prison guidelines have caused him immense psychological distress.

The guidelines, Moussaoui says, “keep me in total isolation without access to a lawyer to break me psychologically …”

In the petition, Moussaoui, who referred to himself as “20th hijacker,” also claimed that he was physically assaulted while in federal custody.

Moussaoui was found to have conspired with members of al-Qaeda prior to the Sept. 11 attacks, having reportedly wired $14,000 to an al-Qaeda operative and logging of 50 flight hours at a flight school in Oklahoma.

He was arrested on immigration issues in August 2001 after Pan Am International Flight Academy considered his behavior suspicious.

The thwarted terrorist also reportedly stayed at the same Malaysia condo where two of the hijackers present on Sept. 11 stayed, CNN reported.

In December 2001, the French citizen of Moroccan descent was indicted on six counts of conspiracy related to the September 11 attacks.

Fox News noted that Moussaoui pleaded guilty in April 2005 to conspiring with the 19 other hijackers to kill U.S. citizens.

He is currently serving a life sentence at the Supermax Federal Penitentiary in Florence, Colorado.

The terrorist has reportedly lied when testifying that he had planned to hijack a fifth passenger airliner on the morning of Sept. 11, 2001.

The news of Moussaoui suing the president comes after Trump signed a new executive order reversing an Obama-era mandate to shut down Guantanamo Bay.

As reported by CNN, Trump announced during his recent State of the Union address that he had signed the executive order urging Secretary of Defense James Mattis “re-examine our military detention policy and to keep open the detention facilities at Guantanamo Bay.”

“I am asking Congress to ensure that in the fight against ISIS and al Qaeda we continue to have all necessary power to detain terrorists wherever we chase them down, wherever we find them,” Trump said during the address. “And In many cases for them it will now be Guantánamo bay.” (For more from the author of “9/11 Terrorist Is Suing Trump for ‘Psychological Torture’” please click HERE)

Top Dem Fooled over ‘Nude’ Photos of Trump Romp with Russian Model

Nobody fools Rep. Adam Schiff – the highest ranking Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee – except, well, maybe Russian pranksters offering him naked photos of President Trump having a romp with glamorous model Olga Buzova.

When two Russian comedians, known as “Vovan” and “Lexus,” promised the allegedly compromising intel to Schiff, one of Trump’s most outspoken critics in Congress, the Democrat from California took detailed notes. The congressman asked the pair for name spellings and documentation.

During the eight-minute call, which took place last year, Schiff told them: “I’ll be in touch with the FBI about this. And we’ll make arrangements with your staff. I think it probably would be best to provide these materials both to our committee and to the FBI.”

After the call, Schiff’s staff tried to acquire the “classified” material on Trump from a person they believed to be a Ukrainian politician, the London Daily Mail reported. The man – who was actually “Vovan” – identified himself as Andriy Parubiy, chairman of the Ukrainian Parliament . . .

However, in audio of the call, Schiff sounded as if he took the conversation seriously. And emails from Schiff’s office to the fake Parubiy indicated the congressman believed the call had been “productive.” (Read more from “Top Dem Fooled over ‘Nude’ Photos of Trump Romp with Russian Model” HERE)

Trump’s SOTU Speech Gets Strong Public Support, Journalists Still Hate Him, and Other Outrageous Media Fiascos

By Fox News. President Donald Trump’s State of the Union speech was met with strong public support. Seventy-five percent of Americans approved – including 43 percent of Democrats, according to a CBS News poll conducted right after the speech Tuesday. The news media have spent nearly every second since telling those same voters why they were wrong. It was a “Groundhog Day” moment with journalists playing the Bill Murray role doing the same thing they’ve done every day of this administration – criticizing President Trump.

Both CNN and MSNBC cited white nationalist nutball David Duke as supporting President Trump’s immigration views. NBC’s Capitol Hill Correspondent Kasie Hunt said Duke liked the president’s “Americans are dreamers too” comment. And CNN Political Analyst Kirsten Powers enjoyed mentioning that “white nationalists, David Duke praised him for saying this.”

NBC’s “Today” Co-Host Savannah Guthrie falsely claimed Trump is “under criminal investigation right now for obstruction of justice.” And ABC News’ Chief Political Analyst Matthew Dowd was Bill Murray-esque, once again claiming, “I think we are as divided now as we were” in the 1860s.

Perhaps Dowd can point on a map the locations of widespread red and blue armies, sieges or 750,000 deaths like we had in the Civil War.

MSNBC Host Rachel Maddow pretended President Trump “wants a war with North Korea.” And her fellow Host Joy Reid went further off the deep end, depicting traditional American values in the worst way. “Church … family … police … military … the national anthem … Trump trying to call on all the tropes of 1950s-era nationalism.” If that’s the party line on the left, President Trump can count on being in the White House another seven years. Trump’s Lawyers Make Recommendation on Whether He Should Meet Mueller

By The Daily Wire. Lawyers representing President Donald Trump have reportedly advised the president against meeting with special counsel Robert Mueller for an interview under oath, a move many have cautioned is a perjury trap.

The report from The New York Times, published late on Monday, says that the president’s lawyers are concerned about his shoot-from-the-hip communication style in which he occasionally contradicts himself. Citing “four people briefed on the matter,” the Times claims that there is a friction brewing between the president and his lawyers as he is eager to speak with Mueller since he believes that he did nothing wrong. The Times notes:

But John Dowd, the longtime Washington defense lawyer hired last summer to represent Mr. Trump in the investigation, wants to rebuff an interview request, as do Mr. Dowd’s deputy, Jay Sekulow, and many West Wing advisers, according to the four people. The lawyers and aides believe the special counsel might be unwilling to subpoena the president and set off a showdown with the White House that Mr. Mueller could lose in court.

The decision on whether Trump will, in fact, sit down with Mueller for an interview is expected to be made sometime in the coming weeks. (Read more from “Trump’s Lawyers Make Recommendation on Whether He Should Meet Mueller” HERE)

Trump’s Attorneys Want Him to Refuse an Interview with Mueller

By The Week. Attorneys for President Trump have advised him to not sit down for an interview with Special Counsel Robert Mueller, four people briefed on the matter told The New York Times.

Trump has publicly declared that he is open to speaking with Mueller, who is investigating Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election and if Trump obstructed justice, but his lawyers fear he will make false statements, which would lead to Trump being charged with lying to investigators, the Times reports. White House Flatly Rejects Amnesty Deal Proposed by John Mccain

White House deputy press secretary Hogan Gidley said Monday that a new bipartisan immigration deal put together by Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., was worse than the Graham-Durbin proposal President Trump rejected weeks ago.

“I have to give it to Senator Coons and McCain, congratulations, because it takes a special kind of person to write a bill that is worse than Graham-Durbin. They did it,” Gidley said, calling the McCain proposal “incredible.”

Sens. John McCain, R-Ariz., and Chris Coons, D-Del., put forward a bill Monday that would grant amnesty in the form of permanent legal status to so-called “dreamers,” but would not authorize spending for a border wall. The McCain-Coons plan would grant amnesty to any “dreamer” who has been in the United States since 2013, a “larger pool of undocumented immigrants than the 1.8 million Trump supports legalizing,” the Washington Post reports.

President Trump previously rejected a DACA compromise proposal by Sens. Dick Durbin, D-Ill., and Lindsey Graham, R-S.C. that likewise did not fund a wall. The president tweeted Monday that “any deal on DACA that does not include STRONG border security and the desperately needed WALL is total waste of time.”

“You have to have a border wall and a security package, the president has been very clear about this. You have to end chain migration. You have to end the visa lottery. Absolutely the president wants to fix DACA, but let’s be clear, not having a border wall is the same thing as Sen. McCain going to bed at night and locking his front door but leaving all the windows open.”

“In order to protect the American people, you have to have a wall at the border,” Gidley said. “Everyone in America sees this, and for some reason these bipartisan bills keep coming forward that don’t address the problem.”

“We can’t be in the same situation five years from now that we’re in today. The president won’t let that happen.” (For more from the author of “White House Flatly Rejects Amnesty Deal Proposed by John Mccain” please click HERE)

Black Writer: Black Caucus’ Behavior During Sotu Shows They Are ‘Slaves’ to Democratic Party

It’s safe to say political commentator Candace Owens isn’t a fan of the Democratic Party or the Congressional Black Caucus, especially after the behavior they displayed during President Donald Trump’s recent State of the Union address.

After the ceremony, Owens, otherwise known as Red Pill Black, posted a series of tweets bashing the Democratic Party’s treatment of black Americans and blatant disrespect for the accomplishments achieved under the Trump administration.

The young conservative continued her Twitter rant by stating that members of the Congressional Black Caucus who remained seated during the standing ovation would have stood if the announcement came from former President Barack Obama. She added that those members who sat idly during the ovation “are nothing more than slaves to the Democratic Party.”

The YouTube star also came to the defense of black conservatives who are often ostracized and ridiculed for sociopolitical beliefs that differ from 87% of the black community that politically aligns with the Democratic Party.

“For too long, blacks that have been trying to help the black community have been labeled coons, while those that wish to destroy it have been celebrated as heroes,” Owens wrote. “That chapter is coming to an end.

“BlackAmerica is on the brink of an ideological revolution. We can’t be stopped.”

Owens’ diatribe came after cameras captured multiple members of the Congressional Black Caucus refusing to applaud and commemorate the various accomplishments achieved under the Trump administration.

During one moment in particular, Trump announced that “African American unemployment stands at the lowest rate ever recorded.”

The majority of the crowd stood to its feet and applauded the significant announcement.

But as the camera panned over the crowd, something noticeable stood out — a majority Democrats and black caucus members remained seated with dejected looks on their faces.

The conservative commentator also took several other jabs at Democrats during her Twitter tirade.

She warned her followers that “radical islamists” aren’t the only threat to America.

“If you think radical islamists are the only threat to America, you must not be watching the #SOTU,” Owens tweeted Tuesday night. “Holy crap, Democrats.”

While Owens may have been the most vocal about her disdain for the behavior of Democrats, she wasn’t the only person to voice opposition to the stunt.

Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., aired his grievances with the decision on Wednesday.

“I was very, very upset when I saw the Republicans never, ever stood up with Barack Obama, and there was things I didn’t agree about President Obama in his speech,” he told MSNBC.

“But I was taught in West Virginia there’s a little bit of respect, and you should show that. And I did that then, and I did it last night,” he continued. “I think the Democrats were wrong in not showing respect. That’s just me.” (For more from the author of “Black Writer: Black Caucus’ Behavior During Sotu Shows They Are ‘Slaves’ to Democratic Party” please click HERE)

Congresswoman Caught on Camera Playing ‘Candy Crush’ During Trump’s Sotu Speech Highlights from President Trump’s First State of the Union Address

Before a joint session of Congress, President Donald Trump delivered his very first State of the Union address on Tuesday. But some lawmakers in attendance didn’t seem to be all that interested in what he had to say.

The U.K. Daily Mail pointed out that Democrat Rep. Brenda Lawrence of Michigan was clearly playing “Candy Crush” — a popular mobile game — on her phone while Trump was talking about international trade.

A Getty photo taken at about 9:42 p.m. showed Lawrence, who is a member of the Congressional Black Caucus, playing the game. Moreover, the two congresswomen sitting to her left — fellow caucus members — were also focused on their cellphones.

Meanwhile, the congresswoman in the middle of the photo, Ohio Democrat Rep. Joyce Beatty, seemed to be looking over a yet-to-be-published news release responding to Trump’s speech before he was even finished talking.

A spokesperson for Beatty later told The Daily Mail that lawmakers were given copies of the president’s planned remarks beforehand.

“That State of the Union is put out an hour in advance so Democrats and Republicans can read along,” the spokesperson said. “And while the speech was going on, she was putting together a statement in response.”

Finally, New Jersey Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman — seen in the far left part of the photo, looked to be scrolling through the responses to a tweet she had put out during the address, in which she claimed Trump surrounds himself with “white nationalists.”

As of Thursday afternoon, none of the congresswomen pictured in the photo — with the exception of Beatty — had publicly addressed what exactly they were doing during the State of the Union speech.

Within hours of Trump concluding his address, though, Lawrence was already criticizing what he said.

“When you know his policies and the things he has said and the disrespect, I cannot connect the words to the person standing there,” she told The Detroit News. “He kept talking about us as Americans. I don’t feel like I’m his America. I’m been feeling that way for a long time.”

Meanwhile, as noted by The Hill, other Democrats also expressed their disapproval with the presidents’ remarks.

Many Democrats sat together and refused to clap when Trump talked about his accomplishments, like the passage of the historic tax reform bill late last month.
