President Donald Trump took a decisive step in overhauling the Voice of America (VOA) with a new executive order, slashing its operations and putting nearly all its employees on leave. The move, which aims to eliminate government-funded propaganda-fueled media outlets, is part of Trump’s broader effort to reign in biased media.

“President Trump is delivering on his promise to make our government more efficient,” White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt told USA TODAY on Saturday. “American taxpayers should not be funding anti-American propaganda in the name of journalism.”

Before the weekend, Trump signed an executive order, “Continuing the Reduction of the Federal Bureaucracy,” aimed at several government agencies, including the United States Agency for Global Media, the parent organization of Voice of America. He called the move “necessity.” Employees received an email informing them they were being placed on administrative leave with full pay and benefits until notified otherwise.

‘Stop This’: Trump Team Defies Judge’s Order to Halt Deportations of Violent ‘Monsters’

Members of President Donald Trump’s Cabinet are firing back defiantly against a federal judge’s order to block deportation of dangerous Venezuelans who are members of the notorious Tren de Aragua gang.

D.C. District Judge James Boasberg, an Obama appointee, ordered Saturday an immediate stop to deportation flights for TDA members, and even demanded planes already in flight turn around and return the violent criminals back to America.

“Any plane containing these folks that is going to take off or is in the air needs to be returned to the United States however that is accomplished,” Boasberg said, according to Politico.

“Make sure it’s complied with immediately.”

Despite the ruling, officials in the Trump administration refused to comply.

On Sunday morning, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio explained: “We have sent 2 dangerous top MS-13 leaders plus 21 of its most wanted back to face justice in El Salvador.

Trump Stares Down Reporter After Being Hit in the Face With a Boom Mic: ‘She Just Became a Big Story’

President Trump was inadvertently struck in the face by a boom microphone Friday as he fielded questions from reporters at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland.

The fuzzy end of the extended microphone – sometimes referred to as a “dead cat” in the industry – struck the 45th and 47th president in the mouth and slid across part of his face as he closed his eyes and leaned back to avoid further contact.

Trump, 78, glared at the reporter and raised both eyebrows in apparent amusement as the mic was quickly pulled away.

“She just made television tonight,” the president quipped, apparently referring to the clumsy reporter. “She just became a big story tonight.”

“Did you see that?” Trump asked someone off camera, laughing off the incident.

Trump Slams ‘Communist’ Persecution Of Conservatives While Speaking At DOJ

The Department of Justice was persecuting Donald Trump with sham trials just last year. But today, now-President Trump spoke at the DOJ, calling out the “communist” federal persecution of conservatives.

“They tried to turn America into a corrupt communist and Third World country, but in the end, the thugs failed and the truth won. Freedom won, justice won, democracy won, and above all, the American people won,” Trump said. “There could be no more heinous betrayal of American values than to use the law to terrorize the innocent and reward the wicked.”

A “corrupt group of hacks and radicals” in the federal government “weaponized the vast powers of our intelligence and law enforcement agencies to try and thwart the will of the American people,” Trump stated. He acknowledged the “lies and abuses that have occurred within these walls” at the DOJ.

Federal agents “target[ed] patriotic parents at school board meeting” as domestic terrorists, treated traditional Catholics similarly, let supporters of Antifa and Hamas walk free, and jailed “elderly Christians and pro-life activists,” Trump noted. Meanwhile, federal officials “imported illegal alien murderers, drug dealers and child predators from all over the world.”

“Our predecessors turned this Department of Justice into the Department of Injustice,” Trump stated. “But I stand before you today to declare that those days are over and they are never going to come back.”

Trump: Putin’s Statement About Potential Ceasefire ‘Very Promising’

President Donald Trump said Thursday that Russian President Vladimir Putin’s openness to a ceasefire proposal being negotiated by the United States is “very promising.”

Trump’s comments came while taking questions in the Oval Office during a meeting with North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Secretary General Mark Rutte.

“He put out a very promising statement, but it wasn’t complete, and, yeah, I’d love to meet with him or talk to him,” Trump said of the Russian leader. “But we have to get it over with fast. You know, every day, people are being killed.”

Putin’s comments about being open to a ceasefire came during a press conference in Moscow, as Breitbart News noted:

“So the idea itself is correct, and we certainly support it,” Putin told a news conference in Moscow, AP set out. “But there are issues that we need to discuss, and I think that we need to discuss it with our American colleagues and partners.”

The Russian leader noted the need to develop a mechanism to control possible breaches of the truce. Another issue, he said, is whether Ukraine could use the 30-day ceasefire to continue mobilization and rearmament.

“We agree with the proposals to halt the fighting, but we proceed from the assumption that the ceasefire should lead to lasting peace and remove the root causes of the crisis,” Putin said.

‘Innuendo And Rumor Stories’: VA Secretary Collins Blasts Media Hacktivist’s Anti-DOGE Hatchet Job

First, it was ABC’s Martha Raddatz. Then, it was CBS’s Margaret Brennan. And now, Military.com’s Patricia Kime is the latest member of the propaganda press to get a well-deserved scolding from the Trump administration for masquerading her left-wing activism as reporting.

The moment came during a newly released sit-down exchange between Kime and Veterans Affairs Secretary Doug Collins. The former congressman was sworn into the position last month following a bipartisan vote in the U.S. Senate.

“I need your help on something. I need your help because all I seem to be doing lately is fighting back against innuendo and rumor stories,” Collins told Kime. “In fact, Patricia, part of it is with you.”

The VA secretary took specific aim at a Feb. 5 story authored by Kime titled, “Elon Musk Aide Is Now Working at VA and Accessing Its Computer Systems.” Citing unconfirmed reports, the Military.com reporter wrote in her piece that, “Rumors began circulating Tuesday that DOGE representatives visited the VA on Tuesday with an intent to mine data on disability compensation and benefits.”

Passing what appeared to be a copy of the article to Kime, Collins criticized the so-called “journalist” for sensationalizing the unconfirmed rumors about the VA’s operations and asked her to commit to not publish similarly shoddy work in the future. Producer Inflation Stopped Cold In Trump’s First Month, Core Prices Fell

. . .“When I win, I will immediately bring prices down, starting on Day One,” Donald Trump said on the campaign trail last summer.

Critics claimed, without evidence, that Trump’s tariff plans would raise inflation. Many economists argued that while the rate of price increases might slow, prices would not decline and Americans would simply have to adjust to the new higher price level.

In February, however, the core producer price index for final demand declined by 0.1 percent. In other words, prices of goods and services— excluding food and energy—sold by U.S. businesses came down.

The broader index for producer prices was flat for the month, indicating that there was no inflation at all in the month.

Both numbers were better than expected. Economists had forecast a 0.3 percent increase in the broad producer price index (PPI) and an even larger 0.5 percent increase in core producer prices.Instead of the expected price surge, we got price stability—and even declines in core producer prices. Corporate Media Try To Convince Americans That Inflation Progress Under Trump Is Temporary

President Donald Trump’s first full month in office was marked by one of the lowest consumer price index increases and the lowest level of core consumer prices Americans have experienced over the last four record-breaking years.

The White House celebrated the news as a sign that “inflation is declining and the economy is moving in the right direction under President Trump.”

“As he successfully did in his first term, President Trump is driving down costs through massive deregulation and energy dominance. The entire Trump Administration will continue to focus on fixing the economic and inflation nightmare created by the Biden-Harris Administration to unlock the Golden Age of America,” White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said in a statement.

Despite the significant inflation data shift, corporate media are attempting to sow doubt that Trump’s “America First” policies will yield the economic results his constituents desire.

Outlets acknowledged that February’s price hikes measured much “lower than expected,” but refused to give up on their attempts to sabotage the second Trump administration’s pledge to rescue and repair the economy. Sister of Slain Army Soldier Decides to Run for Rep. Al Green’s Seat After Seeing Him Interrupt Trump’s Congressional Address

Democrat Rep. Al Green of Texas is going to face a stout challenge to maintaining his congressional seat from the sister of slain Army soldier Vanessa Guillen.

Mayra Guillen says she made the decision to run after watching Green interrupt President Donald Trump during his address to a joint session of Congress last week.

Green yelled at Trump at the start of his address and continued shouting until Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson of Louisiana ordered that he be removed from the House chamber.

Guillen wrote on social media that the moment spurred her to action.

“After watching @RepAlGreen disrespect not only @POTUS last night, but our district, state and country, I believe it’s time for me to get into the fight like I did for my sister Vanessa Guillen!” she wrote. “It’s time to end the propaganda displayed by these politicians, and time to help support @POTUS and his amazing Admiration to Make America Great Again!
