Pharma Exec Passes Out, Collapses To His Knees In Oval Office As Dr. Oz Rushes To His Aid

Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Administrator Dr. Mehmet Oz rushed to the aid of Novo Nordisk executive Gordon Findlay as he passed out inside the Oval Office on Thursday.

President Donald Trump, Oz, Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr and other administration officials announced a plan to lower the costs of obesity drugs during the event. Oz and two other individuals rushed to Findlay’s aid as he collapsed to his knees.

“During the Most Favored Nations Oval Office Announcement, a representative with one of the companies fainted. The White House Medical Unit quickly jumped into action, and the gentleman is okay. The Press Conference will resume shortly,” White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said in a statement.

Trump announced his agreements with pharmaceutical manufacturers Eli Lilly and Company and Novo Nordisk to dramatically reduce the costs of Ozempic and Wegovy to help Americans struggling with diabetes, obesity and other conditions. If approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the prices of Ozempic and Wegovy will fall from $1,000 and $1,350 per month to $350 when purchased through TrumpRx, according to a White House fact sheet.

If approved, the prices of Zepbound and Orforglipron will drop from $1,086 per month to an average of $346 on average, according to the fact sheet. The move will also enable Medicare and Medicaid to cover obesity drugs, causing the drugs to cost $245. Medicare beneficiaries will pay a co-pay of $50 per month. Oz Says He Would Have Voted to Certify 2020 Election, Acquit Trump

Pennsylvania GOP Senate nominee and television personality Dr. Mehmet Oz said Tuesday that had he been in the Senate on Jan. 6, he would have voted to certify the results of the 2020 presidential election but would have voted to acquit former President Donald Trump in the aftermath.

Oz made the comments at a Philadelphia press conference alongside Sen. Pat Toomey (R-PA), whose seat Oz is seeking. Toomey did vote to convict Trump on the article of impeachment tied to his efforts to overturn President Joe Biden’s victory.

Oz told NBC that he “would not have objected to” certifying the election results in 2020.

“By the time the delegates and those reports were sent to the U.S. Senate, our job was to approve it, which is what I would have done,” Oz said.

WATCH: Resurfaced Video Shows Dr. Oz Praising Jussie Smollett After Hoax Attack

Resurfaced video of TV host-turned U.S. Senate candidate Dr. Mehmet Oz saying how much he “adores” and “loves” his friend, hate crime hoaxer Jussie Smollett is now going viral online after former President Donald Trump endorsed Oz in Pennsylvania’s U.S. Senate race.

“Jussie Smollett, who has been on the show, who we all adore, was recently injured. It’s been called a hate crime,” Dr. Oz said on his show.

Elsewhere, Dr. Oz referred to Smollett as “a good friend,” adding, “Jussie, if you’re watching this, the entire audience, all of us, are saying we love you very much, we wish you the best.”

Jussie Smollett also appeared on Dr. Oz’s show in December 2018 — Dr. Oz later revisited that interview after the actor’s staged attack against himself, to see if there were any “clues” to what may have happened the night he said Smollett was attacked.
