Video: Left-Wing Oregon Legislature Celebrates Drag Queens’ Performance

Two drag queens sashayed onto the floor of the Oregon House of Representatives and delivered an awkward, over-the-top performance for lawmakers Wednesday morning — with one Republican official decrying the charade as pure “political theater.”

The bizarre fiasco erupted on the chamber floor in honor of a Democratic resolution recognizing “the artistry of black drag performers” in the Beaver State, Rep. Travis E. Nelson told The Post.

The Democrat is the first black LGBTQIA+ House member.

Video of the flamboyant display captured the two queens — one sporting a bright yellow shimmery jumpsuit, with the other rocking a rainbow-hued one-piece with a blue wig — lip-synching to Aretha Franklin’s “A Deeper Love” while dancing wildly and jumping up and down around the chamber for nearly five minutes.

“I’m not sure the Founding Fathers envisioned taxpayer-funded legislative chambers being turned into platforms for political theater,” Rep. Dwayne Yunker posted on X, with footage of the cringeworthy act.

“The House floor is meant for serious debate, lawmaking, and serving all Oregonians not partisan spectacles designed to push cultural agendas. Church Hosts ‘Drag Gospel Worship’ Service Amid Governor’s Ongoing Battle Against Drag for Kids

Allendale United Methodist Church (AUMC) in St. Petersburg, Florida, hosted a “drag worship” service Sunday amid an ongoing battle in the state over drag shows for kids.

Governor Ron DeSantis signed a bill into law in May that authorizes the government to fine or suspend the licenses of businesses that violate a prohibition against drag shows with children present. In October, an appeals court barred the law from taking effect, citing first amendment concerns. Florida has asked the Supreme Court to reinstate the ban, saying the injunction, “exceeded the district court’s remedial authority.”

The “Drag Gospel Worship” featured several drag queens, including one who appeared to be dressed up as Jesus Christ, according to video of the service. One drag queen featured in the service, known as “Momma Ashley Rose,” founded the Rose Dynasty Foundation, which raises money for charities with an LGBT focus through “variety shows, carnivals, and children’s shows.”

“Drag, as an art form, is a grand celebration of human creativity and diversity. It embodies the qualities of love, grace, and acceptance that we, as a community, are striving to manifest,” an AUMC program reads. “It’s an unapologetic proclamation that everyone is deserving of love and a place in this world. Tennis Legend Fumes Over Deb Haaland Video With Drag Queen: ‘Pathetic Parody of Women’

Tennis legend Martina Navratilova wasn’t happy with a video showing Interior Secretary Deb Haaland discussing “how places such as Stonewall are important to telling America’s story” with drag queen and activist Pattie Gonia.

Haaland was seen standing with Gonia outside the Stonewall National Monument in New York City in the short clip, which was shared by Haaland Monday on X.

“Is this a joke?” Navratilova wrote in a post responding to the video. “The pathetic parody of women continues.”

The 18-time Grand Slam winner also fired back at one X user who wrote: “Butch lesbians always faced the same derision. ‘Not really a woman.’

Huh? Over 90% Of Voters Say Sexually Explicit Images in ‘Gender Queer’ Are ‘Inappropriate’: Poll

More than 90% of voters said they think the sexually explicit cartoons and descriptions in the book “Gender Queer” are inappropriate for public school libraries, a new poll shows.

“Gender Queer” is a graphic novel with explicit sexual content that has shown up in public school libraries across the country, outraging many parents. The book includes illustrations of sex between two males with a sex toy, oral sex, masturbation, and other sexually explicit content.

A total of 93% of people found inappropriate “Gender Queer’s” images of “people putting their mouths up to other people’s genitals” according to the new poll from Republican polling firm WPA Intelligence, which was provided to The Daily Wire.

Meanwhile, 91% of people said they found inappropriate the book’s “images and descriptions of a man touching his genitals, two boys engaging in sexual activities, and a boy imagining sexual acts being performed,” the poll found.

Federal Judge Blocks Red State Ban on Drag Shows in Front of Children

A federal judge blocked Texas’ ban on public drag shows in front of children Thursday.

U.S. District Judge David Hittner, appointed by former President Ronald Reagan, said the law likely violates performers’ freedom of speech, according to a court order. The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) challenged the law on Aug. 2, claiming the law violates the First and Fourteenth Amendments, according to the complaint. . .

“The people of Texas were appalled to learn of an increasing trend of obscene, sexually explicit so-called ‘drag’ performances being marketed to families with children. The Office of the Attorney General will pursue all legal remedies possible to aggressively defend SB 12, the state law that regulates such performances to protect children and uphold public decency.,” a spokesperson for Republican Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton told the Daily Caller News Foundation.

WATCH – ‘We’re Coming for Your Children’: NYC Drag Marchers Chant Ominous Message at Pride Event

LGBT activists at the annual Drag March on Friday in New York City shouted a troubling message regarding children across the nation.

As Pride Month comes to a close, the participants marched through Tompkins Square Park in the East Village while chanting, the New York Post reported Saturday.

Video footage shows the flamboyantly dressed crowd moving through the area, and a woman among the group appeared to be topless:

. . .The march came to an end at the Stonewall Inn located in Greenwich Village, whose website says it is “Where Pride Began.”

US Navy Used Drag Queen Influencer to Attract a ‘Wide Range’ of New Troops as Recruitment Plummets

By Daily Caller. The Navy brought on an active-duty drag queen to participate in a pilot program aimed at reaching a wider audience through popular social media platforms as the military faces severe recruiting woes, a Navy spokesperson told the Daily Caller News Foundation.

Yeoman 2nd Class Joshua Kelley, stage name Harpy Daniels, announced the Navy invited him to become the first “Navy Digital Ambassador” in a November 2022 social media post, highlighting his journey from performing on deck in 2018 to becoming a “leader” and “advocate” of people who “were oppressed for years in the service.” The Digital Ambassador initiative in which Kelley participated ran from October 2022 to March 2023 and was “designed to explore the digital environment to reach a wide range of potential candidates,” the Navy spokesperson said.

The Digital Ambassador initiative concluded in April, and the Navy is now evaluating the program to consider what form it will take in the future, the spokesperson told the DCNF. . .

Top Military Officials Questioned Over Drag Shows on Military Bases

By Rebecca Kheel. . .[C]onservative firebrand Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., grilled Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Gen. Mark Milley on several recent drag events that have become extensively discussed in conservative media, including a planned “Drag Queen Storytime” that Ramstein Air Base, Germany, canceled last year after GOP criticism.

“I’d like to take a look at those myself and find out what actually is going on there because that’s the first I’m hearing about that kind of stuff,” Milley said after Gaetz read several headlines from conservative outlets about the drag events. “I’d like to take a look at those because I don’t agree with those. I think those things shouldn’t be happening.”

Disturbing: Popular Kids Toy Company Turns Heads With New Drag Queen Bear

Popular build-it-yourself children’s teddy bear store “Build-a-Bear Workshop” is turning heads with its new drag queen teddy bear.

The Daily Wire’s Matt Walsh pointed out on Twitter, Thursday, that “Build-a-Bear Workshop,” the toy store where kids – and adults apparently – can customize their own stuffed animals, had advertised a new drag queen teddy bear.

Sharing a screenshot of the website depicting the new drag product, Walsh tweeted, “Remember: there’s absolutely no agenda to groom your kids. Don’t be ridiculous. On an unrelated note, @buildabear is selling a drag queen stuffed bear for children.”

As the image indicated, the toy – a brown bear in a gold dress with curly platinum blonde hair and lots of eye make-up – was a “RuPaul Bear,” pre-customized in drag to honor popular drag-themed reality show “RuPaul’s Drag Race.”

A quick internet search for the “RuPaul Bear” confirmed its existence on the Build-a-Bear’s website, though it is located online in the store’s “Bear Cave,” an adult-centric section – and not in the physical store. Disturbing Footage of Sexually Explicit Drag Show for Babies, Toddlers Goes Viral (VIDEO)

Footage of children attending drag shows is becoming commonplace, but that doesn’t make the latest such video making the rounds any less shocking.

The footage currently causing an uproar reportedly comes from Cabababarave, a U.K.-based organization that promotes drag events for children under 5. Multiple Twitter users posted videos and photos from an event that shows drag performers in thongs performing sexually suggestive dances in front of toddlers and babies.

In one video, a performer wearing leather bondage gear does an act while suspended from ropes attached to the ceiling. The event looks well-attended with parents and their toddlers. There are also images of a mostly naked performer holding a young girl during a performance.

In the wake of these clips going viral, Cabababarave made its Instagram and Facebook accounts private. While many upcoming events appear to be canceled, at least one sold-out performance scheduled for March 11 at The Flair Ground in London is still active. The page has the event tagged as “cabaret drag & burlesque” and “family friendly.”

Taking Someone Under 19 to a Drag Show Would Be a Misdemeanor Under Proposed Bill

Multiple Nebraska state GOP lawmakers are backing a measure that would prohibit people younger than 19 from attending drag shows and people younger than 21 from attending such performances at any location where alcohol is served — the measure lays out consequences for businesses and adults who violate the age rules by allowing young people to attend drag shows.

“No individual under nineteen years of age shall be present at a drag show. Any person nineteen years of age or older who knowingly brings an individual under nineteen years of age to a drag show shall be guilty of a Class I misdemeanor,” the bill states. “No individual under twenty-one years of age shall be present at a drag show if alcoholic liquor is being served at such location.”

The measure goes on to stipulate that any companies, establishments, or nonprofits that hold a drag performance and run afoul of the age limit rules will get slapped with a whopping $10,000 fine for every violation.
