WATCH: Weather Channel Reporter Comes Fully Unglued, Screams Maniacally at Eclipse Totality

A reporter for The Weather Channel became fully unglued and screamed maniacally as the solar eclipse reached totality in Texas Monday afternoon.

The 115-mile-wide eclipse completely covered the sun in Fredericksburg, Texas, at 1:33 p.m., causing nearly pitch-black darkness and a drop in temperature. The reporter screamed at the top of her lungs in extreme excitement as the darkness approached.

“Totality, we’re in it and we’re behind a cloud! But still want you to appreciate the darkness that we are experiencing. And by the way, our temperature has dropped to 72 degrees. I can even see a blue spot right there! Come on! We’ve got four minutes. The crowd is willing it!” she said, followed by screaming. “Yeahhhh! Whooooo! Just for a minute! Just for a second! But I’ll take it! Look at it! Oh my god! We’ve got it! We’ve got it! Ahhhh! Oh my god!”

The event reached totality in areas of Mexico and several ranges of the U.S. as of Monday afternoon. It covered the sun completely throughout areas of Texas, Indianapolis, Indiana, Little Rock, Arkansas, and parts of Illinois, Missouri, Kentucky, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine, according to Live Science. Americans Will Catch a Glimpse of a Rare Phenomenon in the Sky This Week

. . .A “ring of fire” eclipse is expected to occur on Saturday in the U.S. as well as in Central and South America, as National Geographic editor and space expert Allie Yang told Fox News Digital in an email.

The annular solar eclipse — a ring of fire — will go through Western states including Oregon, Nevada, Utah, New Mexico, Texas and some parts of California, Idaho, Colorado and Arizona.

Everyone in the contiguous U.S. will get a partial eclipse without the full “ring of fire” effect, according to Yang.

This eclipse occurs when the moon passes in front of the sun and appears slightly smaller, creating a “sliver of sun in the shape of a ring” for those who are in the right place at the right time, the expert said. Here Comes a ‘Super Blue Blood Moon Eclipse’

Blood moons and eclipses have come and gone. But the signs of the times are getting more ominous than ever.

As if the total solar eclipse last August and the “blood moons” of 2014 and 2015 weren’t enough, there will be a “super blue blood moon eclipse” on Jan. 31 – something that hasn’t happened for 150 years.

And this rare event could herald war and turbulence on earth, according to a leading researcher of astronomical signs and how they interact with Scripture.

Rather than just looking skyward, Pastor Mark Biltz of El Shaddai Ministries, the man who discovered the “Blood Moons” phenomenon, says people need to be looking to their Bibles.

“Many people seem to be overlooking the real importance of this event,” Biltz told WND. “The ‘super moon’ which takes place on January 31 is what is termed a ‘blue moon,’ because it is the second full moon in one month. It’s also going to be a total lunar eclipse, making it a ‘blood moon’ as well. This is the first time there’s been a total eclipse for a blue moon in 150 years, which makes it remarkable enough.
