Swing-State Law May Enable Non-Citizens to Vote in 2024 Presidential Election, Experts Warn

One of the most important states in the 2024 presidential election has a loophole in its election procedures that could allow non-citizens to cast federal election ballots, experts told the Daily Caller.

Democratic Arizona Secretary of State Adrian Fontes crafted the state’s Election Procedures Manual (EPM) to permit individuals whose citizenship cannot be verified to register as a “federal-only” voter and cast ballots in upcoming elections.

“An otherwise eligible registrant who does not submit DPOC (proof of citizenship) and whose U.S. citizenship cannot be verified via AZMVD records or other record in the statewide voter registration database is registered as a ‘federal-only’ voter. A ‘federal-only’ voter is eligible to vote solely in races for federal office in Arizona (including the Presidential Preference Election (PPE)),” the EPM says on page three of its first chapter.

Hans von Spakovsky, a senior legal fellow at the conservative Heritage Foundation, told the Daily Caller he believes Arizona’s two-tiered voter registration system could enable illegal migrants to vote in the upcoming elections.

“I think it’s absolutely a possibility because if you aren’t requiring proof of citizenship, you’re simply going on people’s word that oh yeah I’m a U.S. citizen, you’re going to get aliens who register and who vote,” von Spakovsky told the Caller. Senate Democrats Unveil New Voting Rights Bill

A group of Senate Democrats unveiled new voting rights legislation on Tuesday in another attempt by the party to pass sweeping changes to federal elections in the face of a GOP filibuster.

The new bill, called the Freedom to Vote Act, was released by Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.) and several co-sponsors, builds on a framework proposed earlier this year by Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) as well as the sweeping For the People Act, which Senate Republicans blocked in June.

Though narrower than previous iterations, the 592 page bill would still enact major reforms to America’s voting systems, including efforts to make it easier to register to vote and set a 15-day minimum early voting window that states must meet. It would also make Election Day a federal holiday.

The legislation would also mandate that each state offer same-day voter registration at all polling locations by 2024, and calls for a broad range of cards and documents to qualify as proof of identification for in-person voting.

“Following the 2020 elections in which more Americans voted than ever before, we have seen unprecedented attacks on our democracy in states across the country,” Klobuchar, chairwoman of the Senate Rules Committee, said on Tuesday. The Majority of Americans Oppose Corporations Getting Political

. . .Corporate America’s half-baked frenzy over the new Georgia election’s law represents the latest example of how left-wing pressure, fear, and ignorance pushes companies and brands into taking sides and signaling alleged virtue to certain elements of society, while alienating vast segments of consumers. Major League Baseball embarrassed itself over the issue, as did Delta Airlines. Which look is worse? Rushing headlong into a Biden-endorsed boycott based on a law you care and know little about – or working closely with lawmakers to craft a final product that you believe is acceptable, only to knife them in the back when the mob decides your efforts weren’t good enough?

The CEO of Coca-Cola spoke out against the new law, which was Woke. Then the company appeared to back away from the political spotlight, telling a news outlet that Americans should come together and listen respectfully to different viewpoints in order to “find common ground.” Better. Call this Diet Woke, if you will. I prefer Woke Zero. So do most Americans, it turns out. We highlighted a recent public opinion survey that indicated most of the country was cool to the idea of corporations wading into controversial political and cultural disputes:

By WND. A website called Stop Corporate Tyranny has been launched by a center-right coalition that aims to help citizens combat “the Left’s weaponization of corporate America against traditional beliefs and values.”

“Stop Corporate Tyranny is a one-stop shop for educational resources exposing the Left’s nearly completed takeover of corporate America, along with resources and tools for everyday Americans to fight back against the Left’s woke and censoring mob in the corporate lane,” the website states.

The promoters of the site say they aim to “dissuade corporations from engaging in activities that undermine free enterprise, individual liberty, limited government, free speech and the rule of law.”

“Companies must instead return to their primary role — as fiduciaries for their investors. We seek to restore a healthy understanding of, and respect for, liberty, free enterprise and American culture all of which is being corrupted by corporate oligarchs.”

The site offers activism campaigns in which citizens can engage. One of the latest responds to the corporations headquartered in Georgia that are opposing a law enacting new election-integrity safeguards. Jen Psaki Claims Joe Biden Wanted To Support Baseball Players, Not Lead Boycott Of Georgia

By Breitbart. White House press secretary Jen Psaki struggled Monday to clarify comments President Joe Biden made supporting Major League Baseball’s (MLB) decision to move the All-Star game from Atlanta to protest Georgia’s new election security laws.

President Biden told ESPN Wednesday he “strongly supported” the idea of moving the All-Star game out of Atlanta before MLB made the decision to pull the game. . .

But on Monday, Psaki tried to dodge responsibility for the boycott, suggesting the president was only trying to support MLB players.

“He was not dictating for what Major League Baseball should do, that they should — dictating they should move the All-Star game,” she said. “That was their decision, they made that decision, and as he stated earlier he certainly supports that.”
