Trump Wants Debt Limit ‘Scrapped’ to Protect America From ‘Economic Catastrophe’

President Donald Trump shared on Wednesday that he wants the debt limit “scrapped,” which Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) has also called for.

Trump issued a statement on Truth Social Wednesday afternoon.

Trump shared an image of a post on X that Warren put out Friday, in which she advocated for legislation to do away with the debt ceiling. . .

“But Elizabeth Warren….her whole career, she wanted to see it terminated, gotten rid of, not being voted on every five years or ten years, and the reason was because it’s so catastrophic for our country. And I always agreed with her,” Trump said.

“She happened to be right on that it should be gotten rid of, or it should simply be extended,” Trump added. “But that’s one of the things that gets taken care of in this bill–that automatically gets extended for a four-year period, and it should be.” (Read more from “Trump Wants Debt Limit ‘Scrapped’ to Protect America From ‘Economic Catastrophe’” HERE)

Dem Senator Who Attacked Hegseth Over Christian Tattoo Has Ties To Hamas Apologist Org

Democratic Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts is attacking a Trump administration nominee’s Christian views despite her yearslong partnership with a radical Muslim group.

Warren sent a critical letter to Secretary of Defense nominee Pete Hegseth before he testified to the Senate Armed Services Committee on Tuesday, questioning his fitness based in part on Christian tattoos that she labeled extremist and became a topic of the hearing. However, Warren spent years backing the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), which calls itself a Muslim civil rights organization, before she went quiet as the White House denounced CAIR for sympathizing with Hamas’s Oct. 7, 2023, attacks in Israel.

A CAIR press release published days after the attacks said Israeli oppression was the “root cause” of Hamas’s violence. The White House condemned the group in December 2023 after National Executive Director Nihad Awad said he was “happy to see” Palestinians breaking their “shackles” when Hamas invaded Israel, killed more than 1,100 people, raped women and took hundreds of hostages. Awad later claimed his words were taken out of context and that CAIR does not approve of Hamas killing civilians.

Zahra Billoo, the executive director of CAIR San Francisco, made headlines last year by saying Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh’s “martyrdom will not be in vain.” (Read more from “Dem Senator Who Attacked Hegseth Over Christian Tattoo Has Ties To Hamas Apologist Org” HERE)

Laughter Erupts During Senate Hearing As Pete Hegseth Quips About His Military Service In Response To Elizabeth Warren

Laughter erupted during the Senate confirmation hearing Tuesday as Secretary of Defense nominee Pete Hegseth retorted Democratic Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s questioning.

Hegseth has publicly expressed his belief that military generals should be banned from serving in the defense industry for 10 years after their departure from service, leading the senator to ask if he would commit to that same standard after exiting his potential role as the next defense secretary. After Warren pressed him on the topic, Hegseth concluded his response with a quip about his military record.

“But the question I have for you is, will you put your money where your mouth is and agree that when you leave this job, you will not work for the defense industry for 10 years?” Warren asked.

“Senator, it’s not even a question I’ve thought about,” Hegseth said. “Because it’s not one, my motivation for this job has never been about what could conceivably come next.”

The Massachusetts senator interrupted Hegseth to accuse him of not living up to his own standards. (Read more from “Laughter Erupts During Senate Hearing As Pete Hegseth Quips About His Military Service In Response To Elizabeth Warren” HERE)

Inciting Violence? Elizabeth Warren Attacks Republicans in Scathing Op-Ed, Urging Democrats to Get ‘Aggressive’

In an op-ed published by the New York Times, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) is calling on her party to get “aggressive” towards Republicans after a disappointing senate race for the GOP.

Warren hyped up the “achievements” Democrats have made under President Joe Biden’s time in office, claiming that “voters rewarded Democrats for protecting the lives and livelihoods [of Americans.]”

The Democrat believed that her party has done a lot for the well-being of the country, promising to not let Republicans get in the way of their radical agenda.

“Where we can pursue legislative action, we should fight aggressively. When Republicans try to obstruct such action and the president can act by executive authority, he must,” Warren wrote, adding “Most of all, the Democrats should be aggressive in putting Republicans on the defensive, pressing hard on why they are blocking much-needed initiatives to help Americans.”

Warren claimed that if Republicans gain control of the House, they will attempt to take the economy hostage, voting against helping middle-class families. (Read more from “Inciting Violence? Elizabeth Warren Attacks Republicans in Scathing Op-Ed, Urging Democrats to Get ‘Aggressive'” HERE)

Sen. Warren Tweeted About ‘Indigenous People’s’ Day — And It Did Not Go Well

Twitter users were quick to point out the irony in Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., promoting Indigenous Peoples’ Day on Monday.

Warren celebrated the holiday, which replaces Columbus Day in various cities across the country, on her account that morning.

“On #IndigenousPeoplesDay, we celebrate the contributions, the extraordinary resilience, and the rich cultures of tribal nations and Native communities. Today and every day, the federal government must recommit itself to honoring its promises to Native peoples,” Warren wrote.

Social media users piled on this tweet after Warren’s previous scandal regarding her false claims of Native American heritage. . .

Podcast host Gerry Callahan wrote, “You honored them by stealing jobs, money and opportunities from them. No American alive today has taken more from Native peoples. For at least this one day, you should hide your pale face in shame.” (Read more from “Sen. Warren Tweeted About Indigenous People’s Day — And It Did Not Go Well” HERE)

Vaccinated Elizabeth Warren Tests Positive for COVID-19

Democratic Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren tested positive with a breakthrough case of COVID-19 Sunday despite testing negative earlier in the week.

The Massachusetts senator announced via social media that she is experiencing mild symptoms from the virus and is thankful that she had been fully vaccinated and received the booster shot. She recommended that all Americans receive their three shots in the near future to “save lives.”

“I regularly test for COVID & while I tested negative earlier this week, today I tested positive with a breakthrough case,” the senator tweeted. “Thankfully, I am only experiencing mild symptoms & am grateful for the protection provided against serious illness that come from being vaccinated and boosted.”

“As cases increase across the country, I urge everyone who has not already done so to get a vaccine and the booster as soon as possible-together, we can save lives,” the senator said via Twitter.

Elon Musk Dubs Democrat ‘Senator Karen’

Billionaire business tycoon Elon Musk, who was named Time’s “2021 Person of the Year,” referred to Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts as “Senator Karen” after the Democratic lawmaker took aim at him on Twitter.

“Let’s change the rigged tax code so The Person of the Year will actually pay taxes and stop freeloading off everyone else,” Warren tweeted.

“Stop projecting!” Musk fired back. He also included the link to a 2019 opinion piece on Fox News titled, “Elizabeth Warren is a fraud — Her lies about being Native American disqualify her from presidency, Senate.”

“You remind me of when I was a kid and my friend’s angry Mom would just randomly yell at everyone for no reason,” Musk tweeted. “Please don’t call the manager on me, Senator Karen.”

Elizabeth Warren Is Sued for Violating First Amendment Over Amazon Book Censorship Calls

A lawsuit has been filed against Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) because of a letter she sent to Amazon, accusing the Big Tech giant of “peddling misinformation.”

The lawsuit claims she violated the First Amendment by sending the letter.

In September, Sen. Warren sent a letter to Amazon accusing it of peddling misinformation by promoting books spreading “falsehoods” about COVID-19. She said that the retailer’s algorithms had been recommending books promoting what she thinks is the wrong type of treatment.

“This pattern and practice of misbehavior suggests that Amazon is either unwilling or unable to modify its business practices to prevent the spread of falsehoods or the sale of inappropriate products—an unethical, unacceptable, and potentially unlawful course of action from one of the nation’s largest retailers,” Warren wrote in the letter. . .

The publishers and authors of the book, along with Robert F Kennedy Jr, have jointly filed a complaint at the Western District of Washington court, accusing Warren of violating their free speech rights. Their complaint cites a past ruling in the Supreme Court in the Bantam Books v. Sullivan case, where state officials were found in violation of the First Amendment by sending letters to sellers warning them not to sell certain books. Elizabeth Warren Parties Maskless With Deb Haaland and Real American Indians

Massachusetts Democrat Sen. Elizabeth Warren appeared to join real American Indians Saturday when she partied maskless in defiance of New Mexico’s mask mandate at Interior Secretary Deb Haaland’s wedding.

Photos obtained and published by the Washington Free Beacon show Warren with the first American Indian cabinet secretary at a tribal resort in a state where Democrat Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham has reimposed indoor mask requirements regardless of vaccination status.

“The re-implemented mask requirement applies to all individuals aged 2 and older in all indoor public settings — except when eating or drinking,” Grisham’s office wrote in an Aug. 17 press release with the policy expiration date set for Sept. 15.

A spokesman for the Interior Department wrote in an emailed statement to The Federalist “guests were required to be vaccinated and wear masks,” to be “consistent with CDC guidance and New Mexico’s public health orders.” (Read more from “Elizabeth Warren Parties Maskless With Deb Haaland and Real American Indians” HERE)

Elizabeth Warren Wants This Biden Administration Position

Elizabeth Warren wants to be Joe Biden’s Treasury secretary and will make her case for it if he wins next week, according to three Democratic officials who have spoken with her inner circle. . .

Warren’s moves could set up the marquee fight between the party’s left and its center over what will be one of the most consequential Cabinet roles in the next administration. The Treasury Department will be tasked with steering the U.S. economy out of a deep recession, even as the country continues to struggle with the coronavirus pandemic.

Other leading contenders for the Treasury slot include Federal Reserve Governor Lael Brainard; Sarah Bloom Raskin, a former Treasury Department official; and Roger Ferguson, former Federal Reserve vice chairman and current CEO of financial services giant TIAA.

Tapping Warren would rally progressives who have been pushing — some quietly, others loudly — for her to get the role. But it would also likely draw strong opposition from Wall Street and some moderate Democrats. (Read more from “Elizabeth Warren Wants This Biden Administration Position” HERE)
