[Elon Musk] wrote on Twitter/X [on Sunday]: “I will give them a billion dollars if they change their name to Dickipedia.”

The post came after he posted a screenshot from Wikipedia where co-founder Jimmy Wales was appealing for money.

Musk didn’t seem like he appreciated the appeal and used a snooze emoji in his original post.

In a follow-up message, he questioned why the site is always asking for cash.

“Have you ever wondered why the Wikimedia Foundation wants so much money?” the tech billionaire asked.

“It certainly isn’t needed to operate Wikipedia. You can literally fit a copy of the entire text on your phone!

Unfiltered View: Musk Warns of ‘Some Pretty Extreme Individuals’ Entering U.S. During Trip to Southern Border

Billionaire Elon Musk toured the southern border in Texas Thursday and warned “some pretty extreme” migrants are crossing into the US as he offered an “unfiltered” view of the ongoing crisis.

Musk — the owner of X, formerly of Twitter — was accompanied by Texas Rep. Tony Gonzales during his visit to Eagle Pass, a city that declared a state of emergency last week over the unprecedented arrival of thousands of migrants.

Wearing a cowboy hat and aviator sunglasses, Musk livestreamed his first hand observations and told Gonzales that while he is “extremely pro-immigrant,” he doesn’t believe people should be allowed to enter the US if they are “breaking the law.”

“To be clear we’re both very much in favor of expanded legal immigration. I think anyone who is hardworking and honest and is really gonna add to … the economy, we should let them in,” Musk said.

Elon Musk’s X Sues State Over Alleged First Amendment Violations

Elon Musk’s X Corp. sued California to block a law requiring social media companies to publish their content moderation policies, alleging it violates the First Amendment and coerces censorship.

X, formerly known as Twitter, asserted that California’s Assembly Bill 587 infringes upon its freedom of speech under the First Amendment and California’s state constitution, according to court documents. The law mandates social media companies release reports on how they moderate issues including hate speech, extremism, disinformation and misinformation.

However, the law would have “both the purpose and likely effect of pressuring companies such as X Corp. to remove, demonetize, or deprioritize constitutionally-protected speech that the State deems undesirable or harmful, and places an unjustified and undue burden on social media companies such as X Corp.,” the complaint states. Musk Threatens to Sue ADL After Blaming It for X Ad Sales Slump

Elon Musk threatened to sue the Anti-Defamation League on Monday after blaming the nonprofit for an advertising revenue slump on X since he led a takeover of the platform formerly known as Twitter.

Driving the news: Musk accused the ADL in a post on X of “trying to kill this platform by falsely accusing it & me of being anti-Semitic” after the nonprofit reported a spike in hate speech on the platform following the reinstatement of banned accounts there.

The billionaire said that U.S. advertising revenue “is still down 60%, primarily due to pressure on advertisers by @ADL (that’s what advertisers tell us), so they almost succeeded in killing X/Twitter!”

Elon Musk Blasts School Turning His Son Trans and Into ‘A Full Communist’

Tesla CEO and X owner Elon Musk says in a forthcoming biography that a far-left school that his son attended in Los Angeles turned him against the tech mogul.

The comments are contained in “Elon Musk,” from Walter Isaacson. The Wall Street Journal featured an excerpt from the book on Thursday.

The excerpt was about what was behind Musk’s drive to purchase Twitter, which is now X.

“Musk’s swelling concern with the dangers of what he called the ‘woke mind virus’ that he believed was infecting America” was a crucial factor behind Musk’s desire to acquire the company, the excerpt said.

Biden’s DOJ Announces Lawsuit Against Elon Musk’s SpaceX

The Department of Justice announced Thursday afternoon federal prosecutors have filed a lawsuit against Elon Musk’s SpaceX, alleging discrimination in hiring practices.

“The Justice Department filed a lawsuit today against Space Exploration Technologies Corporation (SpaceX) for discriminating against asylees and refugees in hiring. The lawsuit alleges that, from at least September 2018 to May 2022, SpaceX routinely discouraged asylees and refugees from applying and refused to hire or consider them, because of their citizenship status, in violation of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA),” DOJ released Thursday. “SpaceX discouraged asylees and refugees from applying for open positions, through public announcements, job applications and other online recruiting communications that excluded asylees and refugees. SpaceX failed to fairly consider applications submitted by asylees and refugees. SpaceX refused to hire qualified asylee and refugee applicants and repeatedly rejected asylee and refugee applicants because of their citizenship status. SpaceX hired only U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents, from September 2018 to September 2020.” . . .

“The United States seeks fair consideration and back pay for asylees and refugees who were deterred or denied employment at SpaceX due to the alleged discrimination. The United States also seeks civil penalties in an amount to be determined by the court and policy changes to ensure it complies with the INA’s nondiscrimination mandate going forward,” DOJ continues. Elon Musk Backs Joe Rogan’s Challenge for COVID-19 Scientist to Debate Vaccines With RFK Jr.

Twitter owner Elon Musk threw his support Saturday behind comedian Joe Rogan’s challenge for COVID-19 scientist Peter Hotez to debate vaccine skeptic Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. on “The Joe Rogan Experience” podcast.

Musk accused Hotez of being “afraid of public debate, because he knows he’s wrong” when Rogan doubled down on his debate proposal. Hotez, a professor at the Baylor College of Medicine, first responded to Rogan’s request without providing a definitive answer on whether he would debate Kennedy.

Rogan initially offered Hotez $100,000 to the charity of his choice to debate Kennedy after the scientist shared a Vice News article criticizing Rogan’s June 15 podcast episode with Kennedy. Hotez replied by telling Rogan, “you have my cell, my email, I’m always willing to speak with you.”

Hotez responded to Musk’s comment by calling him “monstrous” and defending his stance on vaccines. Musk clarified he is pro-vaccine but allegedly suffered side effects from the COVID-19 vaccine. Nonetheless, Musk said he believes Hotez should debate Kennedy.

Elon Musk Says Young Kids Who Believe in Santa Cannot Grasp the Idea of ‘Gender’

Elon Musk, who has been decrying the practice of performing gender-transition measures on children, said in a tweet on Friday that young children who believe in Santa Claus are not capable of comprehending the idea of “gender.”

Musk had previously shared a meme that features a pregnant woman asking a physician whether her child is a boy or a girl, to which the doctor replies, “We’ll let the kindergarten teacher decide.”

Someone replied to Musk’s post by sharing a meme that features a photo of a child and text that reads, “YOU’RE TELLING ME I CAN’T PICK MY BEDTIME BUT I CAN PICK MY GENDER?”

Musk responded, “Kids who are so young they think Santa is literally true obviously cannot understand the concept of ‘gender.'”

Elon Musk Calls Out ‘Gender-Affirming Care For Minors’ as ‘Pure Evil’

Billionaire business tycoon Elon Musk is continuing to speak out against permitting gender-transition measures to be performed on minors, declaring in a tweet that “‘gender-affirming care for minors’ is pure evil.”

Musk made the comment in response to a tweet from Jordan Peterson, who had declared that the “phrase ‘gender-affirming’ care is a criminally evil lie.”

The term refers to measures such as surgeries, cross-sex hormones, and puberty blockers, which do almost the exact opposite of affirming an individual’s immutable biological sex.

Musk indicated in a tweet last week that he intends to lobby to “criminalize” the performance of permanent gender-transition measures on kids prior to the age of consent.

“This is a major problem. I will be actively lobbying to criminalize making severe, irreversible changes to children below the age of consent. Shame on those who advocate this! Musk Changes Personal Twitter Bio To The Best Pronouns You’ll See All Month

Tech mogul Elon Musk changed the pronouns in his Twitter bio Sunday, following a controversy involving him on the site.

Musk, owner and outgoing CEO of Twitter, changed his pronouns to “handsome/brilliant.” The prominent inclusion of these pronouns in his bio section appears to poke fun at users who place pronouns such as she/her, he/him, they/them, etc. to signify their gender identity.

Musk found himself in hot water Thursday over allegations that Twitter censored the Daily Wire’s “What Is A Woman?” documentary. The media company’s co-founder and co-CEO Jeremy Boreing alleged Twitter reneged on their deal to widely stream the documentary over alleged misgendering of individuals who identify as transgender. Users then noted Twitter placed a notification under the documentary, signaling it would limit visibility and called the movie “hateful.” After significant backlash from prominent online conservatives, Musk responded that sharing and commenting on the documentary would be barred over its “sensitive content.” Ultimately, Musk reversed Twitter’s restricting actions, sharing the documentary on his personal Twitter feed Friday, reaching his 142 million followers at a minimum. This followed the Thursday departure of Twitter executive Ella Irwin, head of trust and safety since November 2022.
