Eric Trump Rails Against Fraud Trial, Calls It ‘Waste of Taxpayer Money’ After Testimony Ends

Eric Trump on Friday railed on the $250 million civil fraud case against his family after concluding testimony at the Manhattan trial — where he showed up in nearly identical clothes for two days in a row.

Trump, 39, testified for roughly four and a half hours spread over Thursday and Friday, when he appeared in Manhattan Supreme Court in what appeared to be the same navy suit, light blue tie, white dress shirt, brown oxford shoes and even the same printed light blue socks.

Outside the courtroom afterward, Trump blasted New York Attorney General Letitia James — who is prosecuting the case — and the judge deciding it, echoing claims by his dad, former President Donald Trump, that the trial is a political witch hunt.

“This is a big charade that is a huge waste of taxpayer money and it’s the very reason everyone’s moving out of New York state, and I was actually one of them,” Trump told a gaggle of reporters.

“It’s a joke, it’s an absolute joke,” he said, claiming James was using the case to bolster her career. (Read more from “Eric Trump Rails Against Fraud Trial, Calls It ‘Waste of Taxpayer Money’ After Testimony Ends” HERE)

Eric Trump, Like Don Jr., Denies Involvement in Dad Donald’s Financial Statements That Are Key at Fraud Trial

Eric Trump claimed during testimony at a Manhattan fraud trial Thursday that he wasn’t involved with his dad’s financial statements — echoing his brother Donald Trump Jr.’s testimony – but was more prickly on the stand than his elder sibling.

The two Trump brothers arrived at Manhattan Supreme Court on Thursday morning wearing nearly identical clothing, including dark navy blue suits, light blue ties, brown shoes, slicked-back coifs and neatly groomed facial hair.

Don Jr., 45, waved to the press cameras as the entourage-flanked duo walked inside.

During Eric’s testimony — which was noticeably more tense than Don Jr.’s — state attorney Andrew Amer repeatedly pressed the 39-year-old on whether he was involved in compiling the former president’s statements of financial condition, which are at the center of the fraud case.

The icy afternoon was capped by Justice Arthur Engoron getting into a spat with Trump’s lawyer Christopher Kise after the conclusion of testimony when the judge suggested the attorney might be misogynistic for referring to his female law clerk repeatedly. Eric Trump Speaks Out About Mar-A-Lago Raid, Claims 30 Agents Refused To Hand Over Warrant

Eric Trump, son of former President Donald Trump, claimed on Tuesday that the dozens of FBI agents who raided his father’s Florida home refused to give their lawyer a copy of the search warrant, instead allegedly forcing the lawyer to take a look at the warrant from about 10 feet away.

Trump’s Florida residence at Mar-a-Lago was raided by the feds on Monday morning — though news broke about the incident in the evening. Agents reportedly went into numerous offices, checked safes, and took boxes of documents.

“There’s 30 agents there,” Eric told the Daily Mail. “They told our lawyer (Christina Bobb) … you have to leave the property right now. Turn off all security cameras.”

“They would not give her the search warrant,” the businessman alleged. “So they showed it to her from about 10 feet away. They would not give her a copy of the search warrant.”

Eric seemed to question to the Daily Mail if the feds indeed had a valid search warrant. (Read more from “Eric Trump Speaks Out About Mar-A-Lago Raid, Claims 30 Agents Refused to Hand Over Warrant” HERE)

Judge: Eric Trump Must Testify in New York Investigation Before Election

Eric Trump must testify in a New York investigation into his family’s business practices before the November presidential election, a judge ruled Wednesday, rejecting his lawyers’ claims that his “extreme travel schedule” on the campaign trail warranted a delay.

State Judge Arthur Engoron said President Trump’s middle son, a Trump Organization executive, must comply with a subpoena to give a deposition under oath no later than Oct. 7, adding that the court is not “bound by the timelines of the national election.”

New York Attorney General Letitia James went to court to enforce Eric Trump’s subpoena after his lawyers abruptly canceled a July interview with investigators in her office’s investigation, which is focused on whether the Trump Organization lied about the value of its assets in order to get loans or tax benefits.

Trump, the company’s executive vice president of development and acquisitions, was first served with the subpoena in May. James, a Democrat, said in a statement after the ruling that “justice and the rule of law prevailed today.”

“To be clear, no entity or individual is allowed to dictate how or when our investigation will proceed or set the parameters of a lawful investigation,” James said. “The court’s order today makes clear that no one is above the law, not even an organization or an individual with the name Trump.” (Read more from “Judge: Eric Trump Must Testify in New York Investigation Before Election” HERE)

Eric Trump Rushes Into Busy NYC Traffic to Save Woman’s Life

. . .In the liberal mindset, the Trump men, specifically President Donald Trump and his two older sons, Don Jr. and Eric, are especially hateful toward women and children and care not a whit for whatever troubles they might have.

Of course, those with an open mind and eyes know that description of the Trump men to be patently false, and recent actions by Eric Trump that went almost completely unnoticed or reported would significantly undercut that particular anti-Trump media narrative. . .

Trump and his protective detail were passing by the F Station near 6th Avenue and 57th Street when they noticed the woman and stopped to try and render aid.

A witness who talked to the Examiner, and who preferred to remain anonymous, told the newspaper that the son of the president then noticed an ambulance that was passing by the scene and rushed out into the middle of traffic in a bid to flag it down.

“I watched as Eric looked up, spotted an ambulance slowly passing by on 6th, ran into traffic — almost getting hit by a bicyclist — and shouted at the ambulance to get its attention,” the witness told the Examiner.
