‘That Is Retarded’: Ben Shapiro Goes After Fellow AmericaFest Speakers, Candace Owens; Erika Kirk Makes 2028 Presidential Endorsement During Speech

By Daily Caller. The Daily Wire co-founder Ben Shapiro criticized fellow media figures and speakers Thursday during his speech at AmericaFest.

Turning Point USA opened its annual AmericaFest conference Thursday at the Phoenix Convention Center, presenting the four-day event as a celebration of faith, freedom, and the legacy of founder Charlie Kirk. Speaking at the event, Shapiro said media figures must take responsibility for their words, actions, hiring decisions, and guest choices, adding that hosts owe audiences tough, fact-driven questioning regardless of whether they agree with the guest.

“We have a duty to take responsibility for what we say and do. If we hire awful people, we’re responsible for that. I have some experience there, as you might suspect. That means that if we offer a guest for your viewing, we owe it to you to ask the kinds of questions that actually get at the truth,” Shapiro said. “If we agree with a guest, that’s fine, but we should own it. So, for example, if you host a Hitler-apologist, Nazi-loving, anti-American piece of refuse like Nick Fuentes. You know, the Nick Fuentes who said that the Vice President of the United States is a, quote, fat, gay race traitor married to a jeet.”

Shapiro referenced past remarks Nick Fuentes made during his AmericaFest speech, pointing to Fuentes’ comments about the TPUSA founder. (Read more from “‘That Is Retarded’: Ben Shapiro Goes After Fellow AmericaFest Speakers, Candace Owens” HERE)

Erika Kirk Makes 2028 Presidential Endorsement During AmFest Speech

By Daily Caller. Turning Point USA CEO Erika Kirk used her speech Thursday at AmericaFest 2025 to map out Republican strategy for the next two election cycles.

TPUSA’s annual AmericaFest conference kicked off Thursday at the Phoenix Convention Center, with organizers framing the four-day gathering as a celebration of faith, freedom, and the legacy of founder Charlie Kirk. During her speech, Kirk told the crowd that Republicans are shifting away from a narrow focus on individual contests and toward a broader, long-term state strategy aimed at locking in durable electoral gains.

“For both 2026 and 2028, we’re investing in states and not just in races. So, what I mean by that is we are building the red wall,” Kirk said. “Arizona, Nevada, New Hampshire, that’s going to be very important to us. We’re going to ensure that President Trump has Congress for all four years. We are going to get my husband’s friend, JD Vance, elected for 48 in the most resounding way possible.” (Read more from “Erika Kirk Makes 2028 Presidential Endorsement During AmFest Speech” HERE)

Erika Kirk Urges an End to Conspiracy Theories Surrounding Charlie’s Killing

Erika Kirk, CEO of Turning Point USA and widow of slain conservative commentator Charlie Kirk, used a Wednesday appearance on Fox News’ Outnumbered to directly address — and firmly reject — the conspiracy theories circulating online about her husband’s death.

Speaking publicly about the issue for the first time, Kirk said the speculation has become a harmful distraction as she and her team continue cooperating with investigators.

Kirk compared the online noise to a biblical story from the Book of Nehemiah, saying she feels called to stay focused on “building” rather than responding to people “calling down” from the sidelines. “My silence does not mean complacency,” she said. “Every time we hear a lead, anything at all, we send it to the authorities. No stone will be left unturned. I want justice for my husband more than anyone.”

While she said she can tolerate criticism directed at her personally, she drew a firm line at attacks on her staff and colleagues. According to Kirk, members of the Turning Point team — some of whom witnessed Charlie Kirk’s killing — have been overwhelmed with threats and harassment sparked by widely shared online theories accusing staff of involvement.

“When you go after my Turning Point USA family… claiming they’re somehow part of this, that’s where it ends,” she said, noting that some content creators are profiting from pushing those accusations. “This is a mind virus,” she added, describing the emotional toll the conspiracies have taken on the team. “My team is exhausted. They have death threats, kidnapping threats — you name it.”

Fox News host Harris Faulkner observed that Kirk appeared more forceful than usual. Kirk replied that what viewers were seeing was “righteous anger,” fueled by the pain her team relives each time new conspiracies spread. “Why should they have to retraumatize themselves every day?” she asked.

Kirk ended the segment with a direct message to those spreading the theories: “If people thought I was going to shrink into a corner, they were wrong. I will honor my husband’s legacy and never back down. My message is simple: stop.”

Terrified Erika Kirk Desperately Tried to Undo Witches’ Curse on Husband Charlie Organized by Woke Website Jezebel Days Before Assassination

Erika Kirk is said to have asked for help after the liberal website Jezebel paid witches to curse her husband just two days before he was assassinated.

The grieving widow, 36, was ‘genuinely rattled’ over the story, which claimed the author had paid witches on Etsy to curse Charlie, 31, according to Megyn Kelly.

The Kirks were so concerned by the article that they summoned a Catholic priest to undo the curse the night before the conservative commentator was shot dead at Utah Valley University, Kelly revealed on her YouTube show on Tuesday.

The media personality said ‘Erika and Charlie Kirk heard about these curses, and that news genuinely rattled Erika in particular… She was scared.

‘So much so that she and Charlie contacted a friend, who I believe she said was a Catholic priest, and asked him to come over and pray with them over Charlie the night before he was murdered.’
