Polish MEP Cites Donald Trump as Inspiration Amidst Polish Political Crisis (VIDEO)

Polish Member of the European Parliament (MEP) Dominik Tarczynski went on Jack Posobiec’s Human Events podcast on Real America’s Voice, even as Poland is facing a political crisis, with the globalist Prime Minister Donald Tusk holding two political prisoners (two Members of Parliament [MPs]) despite previous pardons for the MPs from the nationalist Polish president Andrzej Duda. Thousands of Poles took to the streets to protest Tusk’s actions, which also reportedly include targeting right-wing media, and Tarczynski is sure that this year will see victories for freedom lovers.

Not only that, Tarczynski specifically cited an American president as his inspiration. “For [the] European Parliament, so we are in the process of campaigning, that is why I am starting putting my hat on again,” he said, fitting a “Make Europe Great Again” ballcap onto his head. “And this is not a joke,” he went on, “this is serious stuff. This man inspired us. He showed us the way, he showed us what the greatness means. It means safety, it means family, it means values, it means dignity, it means who we are, and it means freedom — freedom of media, freedom of speech, freedom of what we think, who we are, letting us be who we want to be.”

Leftists, both in America and in Europe, love to pretend they are in favor of freedom from oppression and freedom of self-expression and self-fulfillment, but the reality is that they impose political and societal tyranny. Then they try to destroy anyone who doesn’t accept their narrow and irrational opinions as unassailable dogma.

Tarczynski called out the creeping Communism in Europe, too. “Just do not oppress us, you Communists,” he said. “We are free people, this is 2024, and this year will be ours, [the] free people’s year.” Posobiec chimed in, “Amen.” (Read more from “Polish MEP Cites Donald Trump as Inspiration Amidst Polish Political Crisis (VIDEO)” HERE)

Multiple Hamas Terrorist Plots Uncovered in Europe

Seven people, including at least four suspected Hamas terrorists, were arrested in three European countries this week for allegedly plotting terrorist attacks against Jews.

The arrests come as Israel continues to hunt down the Hamas terrorists responsible for murdering 1,200 Israelis during the October 7 terror attacks in which men, women, and children were subjected to barbaric acts of sadistic violence, including gang rape, being burned alive, beheaded, and more.
The arrests took place in Germany, Denmark, and the Netherlands, the three countries said on Thursday.

German Justice Minister Marco Buschmann said in a statement that German law enforcement “in cooperation with Dutch authorities, today arrested four members of Hamas who were planning attacks on Jewish institutions in Europe.”

“Abdelhamid Al A., Mohamed B., Ibrahim El-R. and Nazih R. have been longstanding members of HAMAS and have participated in HAMAS operations abroad,” prosecutors said in a statement. “They are closely linked to the military branch’s leadership.” (Read more from “Multiple Hamas Terrorist Plots Uncovered in Europe” HERE)

Entitled: Zelensky Says He Won’t Hold Elections Unless Americans Pay For Them

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has demanded that taxpayers in the United States and European Union send the country even more aid if the West wishes for elections to be held next year.

In an interview published by the president’s office on Sunday evening, Zelensky said that he would be willing to hold elections despite the ongoing martial law amid the war with Russia, so long as the U.S. and EU bankroll the voting process.

The Ukrainian leader said that elections during peacetime typically cost around 5 billion hryvnia ($135 million) but did not speculate as to how much more they would cost during a war, though presumably it would be much higher.

Zelensky said that he discussed the topic of funding for the 2024 elections with U.S. Republican Senator Lindsey Graham, who has been one of the staunchest supporters of sending more aid to Ukraine on Capitol Hill.

“I told [Sen. Graham]: If the United States and Europe give us financial support… I’m sorry, I will not hold elections on credit, I will not take money from weapons and give it to elections either. But if you give me this financial support, if the parliamentarians realize that we need to do this, then let’s quickly change the legislation and, most importantly, let’s take risks together,” Zelensky said. US Citizens Will Need to Pay for a Visa to Travel to Europe Starting in 2024

Long gone are the days of spontaneous holidays overseas.

Beginning in 2024, the European Union will require visitors to get pre-approval via the European Travel Information and Authorisation System — and that goes for summer jet-setters from the US.

Before securing tickets, lodging, or a reservation at that trendy hotspot you saw on TikTok, vacationers will need to submit an ETIAS application for approximately $8.

Applicants will need to provide travel documentation, such as a passport, as well as personal information, education level, current occupation, anticipated trip details, and any criminal convictions.

While most applications are processed within minutes, some take longer to yield a decision and the European Union advises visitors to apply “well in advance.” (Read more from “US Citizens Will Need to Pay for a Visa to Travel to Europe Starting in 2024” HERE)

European Defense Contractors Want Guarantees of Endless War to Expand Production

“Before, we had time, but no money,” said Tommy Gustafsson-Rask, head of BAE Systems Hägglunds AB, reflecting a common theme across Europe’s defense industry. “Today, we have money, but no time.”

Almost 18 months into the war in Ukraine, Europe’s defense contractors — flooded with demand for everything from ammunition to shoulder-launched missiles and combat vehicles — face a dilemma. Do they gamble on expanding production, assuming that the war and tensions with Russia will last indefinitely? Or hold back until they get long-term commitments from governments that have spent the past few decades shaving or even slashing their defense budgets?

The calculation matters beyond the corporate offices of Europe’s defense industry, which collectively generates about $130 billion a year in revenues. Ukraine urgently needs more weapons, from artillery ammunition to air defense systems, and allies’ stocks are running low. European capitals are trying to revive their own sleepy industries to both sustain weapons deliveries to Kyiv and bolster their own security. [But e]ven as orders start to pile in, the fear in the industry is that it could expand production only to find that when new facilities open in three or five years’ time, there is no demand. . .

“We want to see the words followed by action — real action,” said [the chairman of business association ASD Europe’s defense unit]. (Read more from “European Defense Contractors Want Guarantees of Endless War to Expand Production” HERE)

Major European Internet Cables Cut In Suspected Retaliation for Nordstream Sabotage

A major internet cable in the south of France was reportedly severed on Wednesday night, triggering internet issues across the world – and it occurred just hours within a “major incident” that left residents of the Shetland Isles off the coast of Scotland without connectivity following damage to a submarine cable. According to cloud security company Zscaler Trust, the damage to the cable in France impacted connectivity to Europe, Asia, the US and potentially other parts of the world. The incident reportedly affected three cable links: Marseille-Lyon, Marseille-Milano and Marseille-Barcelona. Zscaler reported that its “customers may see packet loss and or latency for websites and applications which traverse these impacted paths”.

While the incident has since been resolved, Zscaler CEO Jay Chaudhry has claimed that it was an “act of vandalism”.

He wrote on Linkedin: “Zscaler detected a strange traffic anomaly. From Europe to India, access to certain applications became sluggish. Latency to impacted applications spiked, but others kept on operating normally. Our investigation identified that the issues were a result of a severed fibre cable in Marseille, France. . .

Mr Chaudhry also that this cable that he suspects was likely targeted was a hugely important one, further raising his suspicions. . .

This also comes after reports emerged that the French Presidency was consulting with leading experts to strengthen the security of submarine cables amid growing fears that France could be Russia’s next target, following its suspected “sabotage” of the Nord Stream 1 and 2 pipelines last month. Europe Encouraged to Ration Gas Supplies Ahead of Winter

The International Energy Agency (IEA) is calling for widespread energy rationing across Europe due to the continent’s ongoing fuel crisis the agency predicts will be exacerbated by the coming winter months.

Dr. Fatih Birol, executive director of the IEA, warned of an approaching energy catastrophe in Europe in a commentary piece released on Monday. Birol implored the European Union to reduce energy demand from households and businesses alike to prevent an energy crisis even if gas flows through the Nord Stream 1 pipeline resume at the same levels that preceded its shutdown.

Birol advocated for lowering household electricity demand by “setting cooling standards and controls,” stating that government and public buildings should take part in this to set an example to consumers. In his article, he also told governments in the EU to “encourage behavioral changes” among their citizens to reduce energy consumption.

“European governments need to prepare the people of Europe for what may be coming,” Birol stated. (Read more from “Europe Encouraged to Ration Gas Supplies Ahead of Winter” HERE)

Biden Sends 5 Million Barrels of U.S. Oil to Europe, Asia Despite Soaring Gas Prices

The U.S. has allowed more than 5 million barrels of oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve to be exported to Europe and Asia, a move that contradicts President Biden’s statements about trying to bring down the cost of soaring prices at the pump.

The exports are part of a broader and historic release of 1 million barrels per day through October from the reserves, one of several efforts by Mr. Biden to blunt high fuel costs that have had minimal impacts.

Phillips 66, one of the country’s largest oil refiners, has shipped roughly 470,000 barrels from a reserve storage site in Texas to Italy, according to Reuters. Atlantic Trading & Marketing, part of French oil company TotalEnergies, exported more than 1.1 million.

The outlet reported that U.S. crude from the reserves was also bound for the Netherlands, India and China.

Bug infestations, moldy ceilings, botched medical care found at ICE detention facility
In total, Mr. Biden plans to release up to 260 million barrels of oil from domestic reserves from October 2021 through October 2022. There were roughly 618 million barrels at the end of September 2021. The reserve is expected to be depleted to less than 400 million, the lowest since 1984.

The average price for a gallon of regular gas was $4.78 as of Wednesday, according to AAA. It has come down slightly in the past several weeks from its previous high of roughly $5 per gallon, but costs remain far above that of a year ago when it was $3.13. U.S. Bolsters Long-Term Troop Presence in Europe as Russia-Ukraine War Drags On

The future of America’s long-term troop presence in Europe came into focus Wednesday as President Biden announced new plans to permanently place fresh U.S. personnel in Poland, air defense batteries in Italy and Germany, and a host of other steps as NATO reinforces its front line as relations deteriorate badly with Russia in the wake of Moscow‘s invasion of Ukraine.

The new deployments, unveiled during this week’s high-stakes NATO summit in Madrid, provide some answers to lingering questions about the Pentagon’s plans for its posture in Europe amid a Russia-Ukraine war that appears destined to drag on for months, or perhaps even years. The number of American forces in Europe has ballooned from about 65,000 to over 100,000 in the four months since Russian President Vladimir Putin launched his attack on Ukraine, but military officials have been dogged by questions about how long those forces would remain on the continent and what metrics the Pentagon might use to determine when some could redeploy to other theaters or return home.

Wednesday’s announcement makes clear the U.S. is prepared to enhance its presence in Europe for the foreseeable future — a move that is sure to anger the Kremlin and ratchet up already sky-high tensions between Russia and the West.

“The United States and our allies, we are going to step up — we are stepping up. We’re proving that NATO is more needed now than it ever has been and is as important as it ever has been,” Mr. Biden said Wednesday. Violence Erupts as COVID Protests Expand Across Europe

Violence erupted at demonstrations in Belgium and the Netherlands over the weekend as tougher Covid-19 restrictions to curb the resurgent pandemic led to angry protests in several European countries.

Ten of thousands of people marched through central Brussels on Sunday to protest against reinforced restrictions imposed by the Belgian government to counter the latest rise in coronavirus cases. The march, which police estimated involved 35,000 people, began peacefully but descended into violence as several hundred people started pelting officers, smashing cars and setting rubbish bins on fire. Police responded with teargas and water cannon.

“We have injuries but we cannot yet say how many,” said Ilse Vande Keere, a police spokesperson. It was also unclear how many people had been detained.

Demonstrators had earlier gathered to protest against the government’s advice to get vaccinated and any possible moves to impose mandatory shots. Shouting “freedom, freedom, freedom!” and singing the anti-fascist song Bella Ciao, protesters lined up behind a huge banner saying “together for freedom” and marched to the EU headquarters. Signs among the crowd varied from far-right insignia to the rainbow flags of the LGBT community.

It followed a second night of violence in the Netherlands on Saturday, when five police officers were injured and at least 40 people arrested. Dutch authorities deployed water cannon, dogs and mounted police to dispel crowds of rioting youths who lit fires and lobbed fireworks in The Hague and elsewhere, after more than 50 people were arrested in Rotterdam on Friday.
