Fani Willis Meeting with Kamala Harris Ahead of Trump Indictment Examined by Georgia Senate

A hearing before members of the Georgia Senate on Wednesday brought new details over the effort to disqualify Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis from Donald Trump’s election subversion case, including information about her meeting with Vice President Kamala Harris.

Attorney Ashleigh Merchant, who first raised allegations about Willis’s relationship with a special prosecutor on her team, Nathan Wade, testified before a state Senate hearing about what she has learned about the prosecutors seeking to indict her client, Mike Roman, in the sweeping racketeering case. The hearing panel comprised six Republicans and three Democratic state lawmakers.

Merchant shared publicly available White House records during the hearing that showcased Willis’s meeting with Harris took place on Feb. 28, 2023, just months before a special grand jury handed up an indictment to Willis’s office in August of that year.

During the roughly three-hour hearing, Merchant noted that the Mayor of Atlanta, Andre Dickens, was present for the meeting at the White House.

“My understanding is that it’s highly regulated who can access the White House … so you have to apply ahead of time,” Merchant said, adding the White House records showing the meeting are open to the public. Fani Willis Allegedly Warned Nathan Wade’s Lawyer to Keep Silent About Affair

A new witness could testify Fani Willis warned lover Nathan Wade’s former business partner to stay quiet about their affair, an explosive new court filing claims.

“They are coming after us. You don’t need to talk to them about anything about us,” Willis is alleged to have warned Terrence Bradley in a September 2023 phone call.

The call was overheard by Cobb County, Georgia, prosecutor Cindi Lee Yeager, according to court papers filed Monday by Trump co-defendant David Schafer.

Willis, the Fulton County District Attorney, is currently battling to stay in her post overseeing the election interference case which charged Donald Trump and 18 others.

She stands accused of carrying on a relationship with Wade, who she appointed special prosecutor, but hiding it from the court, presenting a conflict of interest. (Read more from “Fani Willis Allegedly Warned Nathan Wade’s Lawyer to Keep Silent About Affair” HERE)

Judge Overseeing Trump Case Drops Decision That Could Spell Bad News for Fani Willis

A Fulton County judge ruled Monday that the former law partner of Nathan Wade must testify about Wade’s relationship with Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.

Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee ordered Terrence Bradley to testify about the relationship between Wade and Willis, according to the Journal-Constitution. Bradley, who also served as Wade’s divorce lawyer, met with McAfee in a closed-door hearing, after which McAfee determined that some of Wade’s communication with Bradley were not protected by attorney-client privilege despite Bradley’s assertions during a previous appearance in court, ABC News reported.

Attorneys for Michael Roman, a former Trump campaign aide, filed a motion for Willis’ disqualification on Jan. 8 alleging that Willis, who hired Wade as a special prosecutor to help probe and prosecute the former president, was in a romantic relationship with Wade. Filing: Fani Willis & Nathan Wade Called Each Other 2,000 Times in 2021 — Before They Swore Romance Began; Latest Evidence Against Fani Willis Could Get Her Disbarred, Land Her In Jail, Legal Experts Say

By Breitbart. A bombshell court filing from former President Donald Trump’s legal team says cell phone data shows Fulton County, Georgia, District Attorney Fani Willis and Nathan Wade exchanged over 2,000 phone calls in the first 11 months of 2021 — an average of six calls per day before they began a romantic relationship, according to the pair’s under-oath testimony.

Trump’s lawyers say they subpoenaed AT&T for Wade’s phone records, including location data, in their ongoing battle to disqualify Willis from prosecuting their client. Willis, who became Fulton County’s DA in 2021, has charged Trump and 18 other defendants for an alleged conspiracy to overturn the results of the 2020 election in her state — and infamously made the former president turn himself in for a mugshot photo.

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, which first revealed the filing, an affidavit from investigator Charles Mittelstadt “revealed over 2,000 voice calls and just under 12,000 text messages exchanged over the 11-month period [January to November] in 2021,” with “a prevalence of calls made in the evening hours. ”

The date range of January 1 to November 30 in 2021 contains 333 days. Two thousand phone calls over that period would average out to 6.006 calls per day. Those 12,000 texts would average out to about 36 each day in the same timeframe.

The filing also uses location data to allege Wade likely came to Willis’s home over 30 times in this time frame, contradicting his testimony that he was there a maximum of ten times. It alleges several incidents where Wade’s phone was present in this location through the night and only returned to his home in the early morning. Latest Evidence Against Fani Willis Could Get Her Disbarred, Land Her In Jail, Legal Experts Say

By Daily Caller. Special prosecutor Nathan Wade’s cell phone data suggests he and Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis may have lied on the witness stand, opening them up to greater consequences than disqualification from the case against former President Donald Trump, legal experts told the Daily Caller News Foundation.

Phone records contained in a Friday court filing by Trump’s attorney appeared to contradict Wade’s testimony that he visited Willis’ condo less than 10 times, showing “a minimum of 35 occasions” where his phone was in her neighborhood for an extended time, and appears to undermine Willis’ claim that he never spent the night. If they are found to have lied under oath, Willis and Wade could face charges and potential disbarment, legal experts told the DCNF.

The data, which revealed “over 2000 voice calls and just under 12,000 text messages” between the pair in 2021, also further calls into question the timeline of their relationship, which they have insisted began in 2022, after Wade’s contract started.

Atlanta-based defense attorney Andrew Fleischman told the DCNF that the “cell phone location data is powerful circumstantial evidence of a close personal relationship before 2022, as are the sheer number of texts and phone calls exchanged.” (Read more from “Filing: Fani Willis & Nathan Wade Called Each Other 2,000 Times in 2021 — Before They Say Romance Began” HERE)

Fani Willis’ Father Makes Eyebrow-Raising Claim in Defending His Daughter

The father of embattled Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis took the stand Friday, testifying that he backs up her story about storing cash at home, listens avidly to conservative talk radio, and knew about COVID-19 well before most other Americans. . .

“Your Honor, I’m not trying to be racist, OK? But it’s a black thing,” John Floyd, Willis’ father and also a lawyer, explained to Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee, the presiding judge. “I was trained, and most black folks hide cash and they keep cash.” . . .

In what turned out to be an unusual exchange, Merchant tried to determine Floyd’s whereabouts in 2019, and whether he might have been aware of his daughter’s relationship with Wade.

“Did you spend any time in 2019 in California?” Merchant asked Floyd.

“I did not. What happened was COVID. Once COVID hit, I was just paralyzed. I couldn’t go anyplace,” Floyd said.

“I may be wrong, but I believe COVID was in 2020. I’m talking about 2020. I was asking about 2019,” Merchant said. (Read more from “Fani Willis’ Father Makes Eyebrow-Raising Claim in Defending His Daughter” HERE)

Allegations of Cash-Fueled Romance Rock Trump Prosecutor Fani Willis: Prosecutor Reimbursed Her Lover Nathan Wade

Fulton County prosecutor Fani Willis is facing serious allegations of reimbursing her lover and fellow Trump case prosecutor, Nathan Wade, with cash for extravagant vacations. The shocking revelation emerged during Wade’s testimony in a Georgia courtroom, where he claimed that expenses for their lavish getaways were initially covered by his business credit card.

The implications of these allegations are substantial, as Judge Scott McAfee expressed on Monday that disqualification from the case is a “possible” outcome if Willis is found to have engaged in an actual conflict of interest with her romantic partner and fellow prosecutor. Such a decision would hand former President Donald Trump a significant victory in the Georgia election interference case.

Trump, along with codefendant Mike Roman, has accused Willis and Wade of corruption on multiple fronts, according to Breitbart News:

Trump and codefendant Mike Roman accused Willis and Wade of corruption for:

1. Maintaining an improper romantic relationship

2. Enriching themselves through the taxpayer-funded prosecution

3. Meeting with Biden administration officials before indicting Trump and codefendants

Thursday’s revelations during Wade’s testimony seem to lend credibility to the accusations against Willis and contradict her previous claims. Wade disclosed that his relationship with Willis began in 2022, after Willis initiated the case against Trump in 2021. However, a former Fulton County District Attorney employee and friend of Willis, Robin Yeartie, contradicted Wade’s timeline, asserting that she was aware of their relationship since 2019.

Wade claimed that their relationship wasn’t a secret but rather “private.”

WATCH: Judge Calls Recess After Fani Willis Throws Tantrum on Witness Stand (VIDEO)

By Breitbart. Judge Scott McAfee on Thursday called a recess after Fulton County prosecutor Fani Willis threw a tantrum on the witness stand.

The recess underscores Willis’s lack of decorum during her testimony, in which the judge was forced to admonish the prosecutor.

After about an hour of testimony, the defense questioning Willis asked the prosecutor if Nathan Wade, Willis’s lover and fellow Trump prosecutor, ever visited her “at the place you laid your head.”

“When?” Willis replied.

“Has he ever visited you at the place you laid your head,” the defense against asked.

Willis then raised her voice and claimed the defense lied in its defense of former President Donald Trump and co-defendants. (Read more from “WATCH: Judge Calls Recess After Fani Willis Throws Tantrum on Witness Stand (VIDEO)” HERE)

Legal Analyst Polis: It’s ‘Game Over’ if Fani Willis Lied — ‘She Will Be Disqualified’

By Breitbart. Legal analyst Caroline Polisi said on MSNBC special coverage of the Georgia hearing on Fulton District Attorney Fani Willis’ eligibility in the election interference case against former President Donald Trump that it is “game over.” . . .

Referencing a dispute on the timeline of Willis and Wade’s relationship, Polis said, “Right. Don’t let the legalese fool you. This is epic. This is monumental. If things are going in the direction we think Fani Willis lied to the court, it’s game over for her. She will be disqualified. If they had a relationship prior to when they represented truth to the court, it’s a huge deal. I can’t overstate.” (Read more from “Legal Analyst Polis: It’s ‘Game Over’ if Fani Willis Lied — ‘She Will Be Disqualified’” HERE)

Big Fani’s Lover Gets Spanked at Hearing… Recap… This Was Ugly…

The word “bombshell” is overused, but what just went down in Georgia was more like a nuclear blast.

Caught in the fallout are Big Fani Willis and her lover, Nathan Wade. The case against Trump in Georgia is now in serious doubt. Furthermore, Big Fani and Nathan Wade appear to be in serious legal jeopardy, facing anything from sanctions to disbarment to even felony charges.

To recap, the judge in Trump’s Georgia case ordered a hearing to decide whether or not Fani Willis and her boyfriend ought to be thrown off the case due to misconduct, self-dealing, and misleading the court.

Bloomberg:

A Georgia judge ordered a two-day hearing this week to determine whether he should disqualify District Attorney Fani Willis from the racketeering case against Donald Trump because she had a romantic relationship with the lead prosecutor.

Trump co-defendant Michael Roman wants to question witnesses in court after accusing Willis, the Fulton County district attorney, and special prosecutor Nathan Wade of having an improper secret romance when she hired him in 2021 to lead the investigation into Trump’s efforts to overturn the 2020 election. Roman’s attorney claims Willis has paid Wade more than $650,000 and they’ve received improper personal and financial benefits that require their removal from the case.

Meet the ‘Badass’ Lawyer Who Could Blow up Trump Racketeering Case Over Fani Willis’ Sex Secrets

Ashleigh Merchant never stops running — and that has embattled Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis running scared.

The “badass” Georgia criminal defense attorney, 46, who runs marathons in her spare time, will be front and center at a hearing in Atlanta Thursday that could upend the sprawling election meddling and racketeering case against former President Donald Trump and others.

In August, a Fulton County grand jury returned a 41-count indictment accusing Trump and 18 co-defendants of plotting to reverse the former president’s 2020 electoral loss in Georgia. Willis has been leading the investigation.

Then Merchant filed a bombshell motion on January 8 on behalf of her client, GOP political operative Mike Roman, 52, alleging that Willis had an “improper” and “clandestine” relationship with Nathan Wade, whom Willis appointed as a special prosecutor — and demanding that Willis’ charges against Roman be dropped.

Merchant, who was just sworn in as president of the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, argued that Willis should be disqualified from the case because “the district attorney chose to appoint her romantic partner, who at all times relevant to this prosecution has been a married man.” (Read more from “Meet the ‘Badass’ Lawyer Who Could Blow up Trump Racketeering Case Over Fani Willis’ Sex Secrets” HERE)

Judge Says Fani Willis’ Disqualification ‘Possible’ Given Recent Evidence

Judge Scott McAfee said Monday that it is “possible” Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis could be disqualified based on evidence of alleged corruption presented by Trump co-defendant Michael Roman.

Roman filed a motion last month claiming Willis benefited from appointing her romantic partner Nathan Wade as special prosecutor on the case against former President Donald Trump when he used funds earned from his “lucrative” contract to take her on vacations. McAfee said the evidence presented by Roman to date requires maintaining the hearing scheduled for Thursday to determine whether or not Willis should be disqualified from the case, though Willis urged him to dismiss Roman’s motion without a hearing.

“The state has admitted a relationship existed,” McAfee said. “[W]hat remains to be proven is the existence and extent of any financial benefit, again, if there even was one. So because I think it’s possible that the facts alleged by the defendant could result in disqualification, I think an evidentiary hearing must occur to establish the record on those core allegations.”

“I think the issues that point here are, whether a relationship existed, whether that relationship was romantic or non-romantic in nature, when it formed and whether it continues,” he continued. “That’s only relevant because it’s in combination with the question of the existence and extent of any personal benefit.”

Bank statements contained in a filing in Wade’s divorce case revealed he purchased airline tickets to Miami and San Francisco in Willis’ name. In a Friday filing, Roman’s attorney claimed Wade’s gifts to her totaled thousands of dollars.
