HORROR: Mother Found Guilty of Mutilating 3-Year-Old Daughter’s Genitals

On Friday, a Ugandan migrant living in London was found guilty of mutilating her 3-year-old daughter’s genitals, a sexist practice meant to tame females’ sexuality common in some Muslim-majority countries in Africa and the Middle East.

The 37-year-old mom became the first in the U.K. to be convicted of female genital mutilation (FGM). According to the New York Times, the victim’s father, 43, was cleared of all charges. . .

The little girl was “deliberately cut and her injuries amounted to F.G.M.,” according to prosecutors. Medical experts refuted the mother’s claim that the girl’s injuries were from a fall onto a metal line cupboard door in the kitchen . . .

The World Health Organization (WHO) reports that is estimated that “more than 200 million girls and women alive today have undergone female genital mutilation in the countries where the practice is concentrated.” The practice “has been documented in 30 countries, mainly in Africa, as well as in the Middle East and Asia.”

The United Kingdom is flush with migrants. In 2017, for example, London absorbed 3.4 million foreign-born people, according to Oxford University’s Migration Observatory. The city’s first FGM case follows a series of other assimilation-related problems increasingly plaguing the city, including an onslaught of acid attacks – over 1,800 reports of such a crime since 2010. Notably, as reported by the BBC, “Since 2014 about 74% of investigations have been wound down due to problems with identifying perpetrators, or victims being unwilling to press charges.” (Read more from “HORROR: Mother Found Guilty of Mutilating 3-Year-Old Daughter’s Genitals” HERE)

U.S. Judge Aids in the Horrifying Normalization of Female Genital Mutilation

U.S. District Judge Bernard Friedman continues his complicity in the torture of young girls with his dismissal of female genital mutilation charges against multiple doctors who engaged in the barbaric practice.

Violent misogynists have found a friend in Friedman, who continues to make a mockery of the law and bends to the will of the defense attorneys in one of the ugliest ongoing battles in the country. In this historic case, two Michigan doctors stand accused of heading a conspiracy involving six other people for a dozen years to mutilate the genitals of at least nine girls. Although 27 states already have state laws completely banning FGM, the “doctors” are being charged for breaking the federal law that specifically protects minors from FGM.

Judge Friedman is ruling that transporting minors across state lines with the specific intention of soliciting the services of professional torture artists is not covered by the Commerce Clause, and thus, federal law should be stricken down. . .

FGM is slowly invading America, with the rate of girls and women subjected to FGM having tripled in the past three decades, predominately in California, New York, and Minnesota. Interestingly, Minnesota just elected a congresswoman who was one of only four state representatives to vote against a state law that made FGM a felony. Her name is Ilhan Omar.

On its face, the continued rationale of Friedman’s rulings, from removing three mothers who knowingly tricked their daughters into traveling to force them to undergo FGM from the case to now trying to strike down the 22-year-old federal law under the absurd claim that Congress lacks constitutional authority to prohibit professional torture, specifically the kind that pushed at least a handful of minors across state lines, is patently absurd. Secret Islamic Networks in U.S. Doing the Unspeakable to Young Girls

Female genital mutilation is a form of human trafficking that Maine legislators are currently choosing to allow in their state, say child advocates . . .

That lack of interest in a form of torture on young girls persisted even though the evidence is now breaking open, thanks to a federal investigation in Detroit launched by U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

What Sessions’ staff is discovering is that it’s not just Minnesota and Michigan that are at risk. There’s a secret underground of at least eight states involved.

Maine has been identified as one of the eight “high risk” states, largely because of its large population of Somali refugees. More than 97 percent of women in Somalia have had their genitals mutilated by the time they reach adulthood. The numbers are similar in Egypt, Sudan and Indonesia.

Yore said FGM bears similarities to human trafficking. (Read more from “Secret Islamic Networks in U.S. Doing the Unspeakable to Young Girls” HERE)

Criminalize Female Genital Mutilation? Not So Fast, Says Dems

If there were any issue that Republicans and Democrats could agree on in the current, brutal political climate, one might think it would be female genital mutilation and the need to ban it . . .

In Minnesota, a bill that would ban the practice, known as “female circumcision” in places such as Somalia, Egypt, Sudan, Yemen and elsewhere in the Third World, was passed overwhelmingly in the House but died in the Senate.

Now in Maine, a similar bill, LD 745, is being put up for a second vote in the state house after failing in late June. The state Senate passed the bill but the House rejected it, forcing another vote on an amended bill set for July 20.

In both states, it is primarily progressive Democrats pushing back against the criminalization of FGM. Many have even refrained from calling the practice what it is – female genital mutilation – opting for the more sanitized “genital cutting” or “female circumcision.”

The issue of FGM has been front and center since two doctors – Fakhruddin Attar and Jumana Nagarwala – were arrested in April in the Detroit area and charged with mutilating the genitals of two 7-year-old Somali girls, who were delivered to the doctors by their parents in Minnesota.
