Biden Admin Regurgitates Left-Wing Lies About Trans Surgeries In Supreme Court Oral Argument

U.S. Solicitor General Elizabeth Prelogar repeated numerous lies about gender transition drugs and interventions during her Wednesday argument to have the Supreme Court strike down Tennessee’s ban on the interventions.

Tennessee’s law, SB 1, blocks the ability of children to obtain medical procedures and drugs in order to “enabl[e] a minor to identify with, or live as, a purported identity inconsistent with the minor’s sex” and “treating purported discomfort or distress from a discordance between the minor’s sex and asserted identity.”

“It’s a fundamental fact of nature that boys and girls are different, and it’s really hard for anybody to get far with their argument if they don’t acknowledge that when they get pinned down. I mean, it’s just a given of human existence,” Tennessee Attorney General Jonathan Skrmetti told The Federalist in a phone interview after oral arguments.

While the lawsuit was initially brought by the far-left American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), which is representing the parents of children who claim to be the sex opposite to how they were born, the Biden administration intervened in the lawsuit to join the ACLU.

Prelogar used the propaganda term “gender-affirming care” to refer to allowing children to take dangerous drugs that destroy their bodies, including sterilization, and the mutilation surgeries they subsequently receive. Female Inmate Forced to Bunk With Masturbating Transgender Prisoner Who Raped Daughter, Messages Claim

Katelyn McGraw is currently incarcerated in Taycheedah Correctional Institution in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, serving a sentence for possession of narcotic drugs and bail jumping. She’s been at Taycheedah since the end of summer 2023, records show, and her fiancee says that she’ll soon be sent to a minimum security prison.

Recently she began sending distressed messages to her fiancee, Raymond Slater II, describing a transgender prisoner named “Mark Campbell” with whom she shares both a cell and a bunkbed. McGraw expressed extreme anxiety as she described her cellmate’s constant masturbating, sexual comments, and aggressive behavior, and she asked her fiancee to find out what exactly got Campbell locked up.

“I’m just sooooo extra stressed out with this weirdo under me,” she wrote in one message to Slater, shared with The Daily Signal, which Slater believes was sent in mid February. He communicates with her through CorrLinks, a platform for people to message their incarcerated loved ones, but said that prison guards will often hold up the messages from being sent or received in a timely manner.

“What did he/she do?!?” he questioned her fiancee. “Mark Campbell?! Goodnight babyyyyy, ILY [I love you].”

Her concerned fiancee quickly turned to the internet to discover who this prisoner was. To his horror, he stumbled upon The Daily Signal’s reporting from September 2023, a report that revealed Campbell to be a man who now identifies as a woman, who raped his own daughter, and is a registered sex offender convicted of first-degree sexual assault of a child.

Since Campbell identifies as transgender, the Wisconsin Department of Corrections has housed him in a women’s prison, Taycheedah Correctional Institution, since August 2022. Report: VA Documents Reveal Plans to Intensify Gender Transition Surgeries

A Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) facility in Seattle, Washington, is facing scrutiny as documents obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation reveal a significant push to expand gender transition surgeries. The VA medical center at Puget Sound reportedly requested over half a million dollars for the establishment of a Comprehensive Gender Affirming Surgical Center (CGASC) in fiscal year 2023.

While the facility has been providing hormone therapy, minor surgeries, and other gender-related treatments for decades, the latest proposals indicate a shift towards major surgeries for gender transition. The documents outline plans to hire staff, including plastic surgeons, urologists, nurses, psychiatrists, and psychologists, for the CGASC.

The controversy comes at a time when the VA has yet to implement a proposal announced in 2021 to expand coverage for transgender procedures, including major surgeries. An advocacy group recently sued the VA over the delay in implementing the rule, arguing that the delay deprives an estimated 4,000 veterans of “life-saving” services related to major sex change procedures.

The VA’s medical plan already covers various transgender treatments, including hormones and prosthetics. The current proposals from Puget Sound seek funding for equipment specific to gender transition surgeries, such as laser hair removal machines. This disturbing focus on genital mutilating procedures diverts resources from essential healthcare services for veterans.

Additionally, complications are arising from major sex change operations, with discussions among VA and Seattle Children’s Hospital staff addressing ways to handle complications and the need for additional resources.

Conservative critics, including some within the VA, have voiced reservations about the injection of “gender ideology” into clinical work. In a recent article published in The Hill, three VA professionals criticized transgender accommodations, claiming they undermine protections for female veterans and raise questions about the prioritization of certain medical procedures.

California State Senator Warns Parents to ‘Flee’ State After ‘Gender-Affirmation’ Bill Advances

A Republican California lawmaker warned families to escape from the Golden State after legislators advanced a bill on Tuesday that would accuse parents of child abuse if they refuse to “affirm” their children’s so-called gender identity.

Senator Scott Wilk (R-Antelope Valley) sounded the alarm during a hearing late Tuesday night when the Senate Judiciary Committee voted 8-1 to advance Assembly Bill 957, which rewrites much of the state’s family law and classifies “a parent’s affirmation of the child’s gender identity as part of the health, safety, and welfare of the child.”

“In the past, when we’ve had these discussions, and I’ve seen parental rights atrophy, I’ve encouraged people to keep fighting,” Wilk said. “I’ve changed my mind on that — if you love your children, you need to flee California. You need to flee.”

The bill amends Section 3011 of the Family Code, which deals with child custody disputes, and requires that a court determining the “best interests” of the child must consider the affirmation of a so-called transgender identity. If a parent were to deny the child’s “gender identity,” it would be a violation of the child’s health, safety, and welfare — equivalent to child abuse.

Because the bill changes the definition of what constitutes the “health, safety, and welfare” of a child, any organization interacting with children — including schools, churches, and hospitals — would be required to affirm gender transitions in minors. Governor Signs Bill Banning Trans Surgeries, Hormone Therapies for Children

Republican Texas Gov. Greg Abbott signed a bill on Friday that places restrictions on gender transitioning procedures and treatments for minors in the state.

The bill, known as Senate Bill 14, prohibits doctors from performing certain procedures and treatments related to gender transitioning, reassignment, or gender dysphoria to children under the age of 18. It also restricts the use of public funds or public assistance for such procedures.

Last year, Abbott issued an order saying that treating transgender minors with medical procedures could be seen as child abuse. However, a judge has stopped some of the investigations related to this order in Texas.

The newly enacted law specifically bans doctors and health care providers from performing surgeries that render minors unable to have children.

This includes surgeries on males like castration (removing testicles), vasectomy (cutting tubes that carry sperm), orchiectomy (removing testicles), penectomy (removing the penis), and vaginoplasty (making a vagina). It also includes surgeries on females, such as hysterectomy (removing the uterus), oophorectomy (removing ovaries), metoidioplasty (reshaping the clitoris), and phalloplasty (making a penis).
