‘He Will Crush Hillary Clinton — Crush Her’: Glenn Beck Reveals His No. 2 Choice for President

In a candid car ride home from one of presidential hopeful Sen. Marco Rubio’s (R-Fla.) stump speeches in Dallas, Texas, Glenn Beck confidently said the Florida senator is his second choice for the GOP nomination, presumably after Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas).

I will tell you, not only could I vote for him, he’s one of my two now — a strong No. 2,” Beck said in a video he posted to his Facebook page.

Beck’s high praise comes after he spent the afternoon recording an interview with Rubio, which is set to air on TheBlaze TV Thursday evening at 5 p.m., and attended a rally for the GOP hopeful at the Westin Dallas Park Central Hotel.

“I hate to play this card, but I think he’s genuine enough to where we disagree on things, … but at least he’s honest, that he says what he means and means what he says,” Beck said.

“He will crush Hillary Clinton — crush her,” Beck continued. (Read more from “‘He Will Crush Hillary Clinton — Crush Her’: Glenn Beck Reveals His No. 2 Choice for President” HERE)

Glenn Beck Reveals What He Believes Obama Meant by ‘Diversifying Neighborhoods’

Glenn Beck explained Wednesday on The Glenn Beck Radio Program what he believes to be President Barack Obama’s motivation behind taking in a large number of Muslim refugees.

Anyone remember when the president said that he wanted to diversify our neighborhoods?” Beck asked.

The Obama administration determined over the summer that housing in the U.S. needed to be diversified, according to a recent Housing and Urban Development rule. The policy calls on cities to analyze their housing patterns for racial and ethnic biases, as well as “patterns of segregation” every few years . . .

“Everybody said, ‘He’s trying to develop some sort of utopia. I mean, you can’t manufacture our neighborhoods. What are you doing?’ And he said, ‘We need to have our neighborhoods much more diverse. We need America to be a much more diverse nation,’” Beck recounted.

Beck went on to suggest that the government sees accepting an influx of Muslim refugees from the Middle East to be the “perfect way” to make the U.S. “much more diverse” because the State Department — in association with nine other agencies — determines where the refugees will be placed. ‘You Live in Fantasy Land’: Bill O’Reilly, Glenn Beck Spar Over Future of Republican Party [+video]

Mr BeckBy Oliver Darcy. Glenn Beck joined Fox News host Bill O’Reilly on his program Tuesday evening to discuss comments he recently made about leaving the Republican Party.

“I don’t believe you’re leaving the Republican Party because you like Ted Cruz … I think he’s running as a Republican, Beck. Did anybody break that to you?” O’Reilly asked TheBlaze founder.

Beck offered a rebuttal, saying he would financially support Cruz, but was done with the Republican Party.

“The party right now is attacking people like Ted Cruz,” Beck said. “There are more slings and arrows coming from the Republican Party against Ted Cruz than there is outside the Republican Party.”

The conversation quickly became centered around the future of the GOP. (Read more from “Watch: ‘You Live in Fantasy Land’: Bill O’Reilly, Glenn Beck Spar Over Future of Republican Party” HERE)

Glenn Beck Says He’s Leaving the Republican Party

By Rick Moran. Talk show host and pundit Glenn Beck announced yesterday that he was leaving the Republican party. Beck cited GOP inaction on repealing Obamacare and failing to halt the president’s immigration executive orders.

The Hill:

“I’ve made my decision — I’m out,” Beck said Wednesday on “The Glenn Beck Program,” his broadcast on TheBlaze.com. “I’m out of the Republican Party. I am not a Republican. I will not give a dime to the Republican Party. I’m out.”

The host said Republicans lost him with their inaction on both ObamaCare and illegal immigration.

Glenn Beck’s Charges against NRA Director, Divert Attention from Amnesty Threat [+video]

Conservative media powerhouse Glenn Beck told The Blaze, a news and editorial outlet he founded, that following a one-hour telephone conversation, National Rifle Association Executive Vice President Wayne La Pierre is opening a “fully transparent” ethics investigation into NRA director and Americans for Tax Reform president Grover Norquist. The development comes after Beck announced that he will resign his membership if Norquist is re-elected to the board.

While allegations that Norquist is “an agent of influence” on behalf of Islamic interests will raise concerns of many NRA members and gun owners in general, Beck did not cite one reason why his activities in that regard conflict with NRA’s bylaws, the charter that defines director eligibility and all other matters pertaining to operational policies. And while it’s useful for NRA’s voting members to know the truth about such ties (not surprisingly, Norquist and his American Conservative Union allies dispute and condemn the legitimacy of such criticisms) so that members can decide if that’s a personal show-stopper for them, chances are his reelection is already a done deal.

That’s because the mail-in ballot was sent to voting members (continuous membership for five years or life member and higher) in the February issue. With only an estimated seven percent of those bothering to vote, odds are not too many of Beck’s callers qualify and that Norquist, who enjoyed Nominating Committee support, already has enough votes. Besides, based on the non-specificity of the “influence” allegations, there is no unequivocal rule La Pierre can use to overturn election results and boot Norquist off the board, meaning he can either throw the guy under the bus on a trumped up charge and lose much influence and access through “insider” alienation, plus face a lawsuit, or else offer Norquist some kind of secret deal to get him to take one for the team.

[Listen to the author’s interview last week here:]

Or just tell people there are no actionable justifications he is authorized to pursue…

Still, if nothing else, this shows the effects of high-profile influence on getting NRA’s attention and eliciting some kind of action out of Fairfax. Back when there was a much clearer case for ridding the association of a subversive member who was in demonstrable violation of its bylaw-defined eligibility criteria, NRA refused to respond to a rules-compliant request to expel anti-gun propagandist Michael Moore. NRA management ignoring that request was also a violation of the bylaws, but they could get away with it due to the limited venue the complaint was effectively buried in. Beck has a much more amplified voice, as evidenced by all of the related reports qualifying for the Google news feed.

And the thing is, even if Beck and the noise he’s making on this somehow succeed in keeping Norquist off the board, it distracts from another issue NRA is deliberately ignoring that this column has repeatedly raised, and that again, is confined to a relatively obscure venue: the danger a “pathway to citizenship” for illegal aliens poses to government recognition of the right to keep and bear arms.

Norquist supports amnesty, absolving and keeping foreign lawbreakers in this country. He supports it despite Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson’s insistence that illegal aliens have “earned the right to be citizens.” He supports it despite Democrat Rep. Kurt Schrader claiming immigration will decide “who is in charge of this country for the next 20 or 30 years.” He supports it despite all credible polling showing that giving Johnson what he and his boss and his party demand will result in millions of new anti-gun Democrat voters, with the capability of establishing unchallengeable majorities in the legislatures, a resultant stacking of the courts through confirmations of anti-gun activist judges, and a reversal of all legislative and judicial gains enjoyed in recent years.

Heller and McDonald were 5-4 decisions in favor of gun owners. Who thinks that won’t be reversed when Schraeder and pals control all three branches of government?

Note anyone dismissing the danger will offer arguments based on anecdotes and platitudes, but they will not offer data that contradicts these contentions. If they have knowledge to convince us this is not a concern directly impacting government recognition of gun rights, why do they not share specifics so their claims can be validated?

Yeah, if Beck wants to go after Norquist, fine. But aside from amnesty, he’s also ignoring other NRA-specific disconnects. For instance, he could challenge him on conflict of interest, such as the time Norquist put his tax interests ahead of gun owner interests, and endorsed anti-gun politician Bob Dold, who then went on to win a “leadership” award from the citizen disarmament zealots at Illinois Council Against Handgun Violence.

How does that make the director worthy of a Nominating Committee endorsement?

Perhaps if LaPierre really intends to investigate Norquist, he can look into his amnesty collaboration with Michael Bloomberg, and see if other Dold-style conflicts exist depending on which hat he’s wearing. No one thinks the politically-savvy Mayor of Everytown doesn’t pay attention to polls and isn’t working toward actualizing his vision of control, do they?

Pressuring Norquist off the board without raising that flag gives NRA a pass to continue ignoring the threat posed by making sure the vote is given to current criminal foreign invaders with documented Democrat sympathies. If anything, his removal without considering the “pathway to citizenship” dangers will undermine that bit of leverage and allow NRA to keep playing the access game, and avoid scoring amnesty support as anti-gun in its political ratings.

As things stand, that pressure is unlikely to happen. With the exception of Gun Owners of America, which has bravely stood alone on the issue, no national gun rights group has made the 2A/amnesty connection. Alan Gottlieb, head of the influential Second Amendment Foundation and the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms, has rejected it outright in his recent endorsement of Norquist. That further relieves pressure from NRA to acknowledge relevancy and then do something about it.

Also showing deliberate indifference to the political effects amnesty will have on gun rights are ostensible immigration watchdog groups, and of paramount significance, so-called “conservative news” outlets, including Fox News (created by a Hillary Clinton supporter), Newsmax (headed by a Bill Clinton admirer), Beck’s The Blaze, Townhall, The Daily Caller, WND and Drudge. What that means is, most gun owners will never be exposed to the evidence of why a “pathway to citizenship” should even concern them. Unless the readership of those sites challenges them in sufficient numbers to report on that danger, those relying on the issue being ignored will have their way.

One notable exception with a national presence is the syndicated Armed American Radio program. Continuing its practice of bringing breaking news and information to gun owners no one else provides, host Mark Walters will be speaking tonight with Grover Norquist, about Glenn Beck’s allegations, his stance on immigration and more. The program broadcasts from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Eastern time, and can be listened to on stations nationwide, or via live streaming. Glenn Beck: This Is Where Obama Snapped at State of the Union

Photo Credit: National Review Glenn Beck and his radio co-hosts, Pat Gray and Stu Burguiere, responded to the State of the Union in real time on Tuesday, saying the only way they could tolerate watching the entire speech was by “addressing all the lies” as President Barack Obama spoke them.

There were a few parts of the speech that stuck out to Beck, and he discussed them on his radio program Wednesday. One of the most memorable moments, Beck said, was when the president “just snapped and got all dark and ugly,” just after encouraging the nation to come together.

The president said: “That’s a better politics. That’s how we start rebuilding trust. That’s how we move this country forward. That’s what the American people want. That’s what they deserve. I have no more campaigns to run–”

Then, as people began to applaud, the president went off his prepared remarks and added: “I know, because I won both of them.”

“Right in the middle of him saying, ‘You know what, I just love everybody and we all have to work together,’ he takes a shift,” Beck said. “[And] all he’s doing is just raising money for the campaign. That’s all this guy has done!” (Read more on how Obama snapped HERE)

After Boehner Claims He’s the ‘Most Anti-Establishment Speaker We’ve Ever had,’ Glenn Beck had an Idea

Photo Credit: BreitbartBy Erica Ritz. After newly re-elected House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) said he is the “most anti-establishment speaker we’ve ever had” in response to criticism from conservatives, Glenn Beck issued a formal invitation to the speaker.

“Here’s my offer,” Beck said on his radio program Friday. “There aren’t many shows that appeal to the Tea Party crowd, the non-establishment GOP, as much as this one. … We are putting out an official invite to John Boehner to come down, spend an hour with me on radio or television. He can have his choice. … We’ll work it to his schedule. But I would love to spend an hour with John Boehner and have him show America [who] he really is.”

“John, you and your cronies can ask anyone,” Beck continued. “I have never sandbagged anyone. I always tell them in advance what they’re in for. … It will be a tough interview, but it will be a fair interview. I will let you speak, but it is going to be a tough interview.”

Beck has long railed against Boehner and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) for being “establishment” Republicans who are disconnected from the needs of the American people. He even started a campaign to “defund the GOP.” (Read more from this story HERE)

Boehner Retaliation Haunts Republicans Who Supported Him

By Matthew Boyle. House Speaker John Boehner’s decision to retaliate, or exact “revenge” as Politico puts it, against at least two House members who voted against him is haunting Republicans who supported him conference-wide and sparking a discussion in the party about the role Boehner should play as Speaker—and Republican members should play in challenging his authority.

On Tuesday, the largest rebellion by members of a political party against a sitting House Speaker seeking re-election since the Civil War broke out on the House floor. Twenty-four House Republicans voted for someone other than Boehner. Declared candidates were Reps. Louie Gohmert (R-TX), Ted Yoho (R-FL), and Daniel Webster (R-FL). One other member, Rep. Brian Babin (R-TX), voted “present.”

The mere fact that three candidates ran against Boehner from within his party, and that so many members voted against him—and many others are having trouble defending their votes for Boehner to angry constituents back home—gave even the Speaker himself some pause, he said at a press conference on Thursday.

“Listen, I’ve given some thought to this as you might imagine,” Boehner responded when asked why there’s so much conservative opposition to his speakership from both inside Congress and outside, where leaders such as Fox News’ Sean Hannity has called for Boehner to go many times. Glenn Beck Reveals the Life-Changing ‘Pivot Point’ He Has Kept Hidden From Almost Everyone for Five Years

Glenn Beck on Monday revealed the true extent of his health issues, saying he can no longer keep what has happened a secret from his friends, his staff or audience, whom he considers to be his family.

If you have sensed a change in Beck — maybe you even thought he was losing interest in his program — Beck said it is because he was told he may only have several functional years left, and his health conditions were causing such excruciating pain that it was difficult to do live programming.

“Tonight’s show is not for the casual fan or, really, anyone in the press,” Beck said. “This is a one-on-one between friends. No one in the media ever does a show like this, because it is crazy. … But I believe that by not talking with you openly, it destroys everything of real meaning and value — namely, our trust.”

“I have never lied to you, but I have omitted a few really important facts because — they scared me,” Beck admitted, beginning to swallow back tears. “I didn’t have any answers, and the answers I was being given at the time meant … the end of our time together.”

Beck said that five years ago, around the time of his Restoring Honor event in Washington, D.C., God began to tell him that he was standing in the wrong place. At around the same time, his health issues began, starting with vocal cord paralysis, eyesight problems and what doctors at first believed was a painful form of neuropathy.

Sean Hannity and Glenn Beck Take Establishment GOP To Task (+video)

Glenn Beck joined Sean Hannity on his TV program Monday night to discuss the current state of the establishment GOP, which both agreed is hostile to Tea Party conservatives like Sens. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), Mike Lee (R-Utah) and Rand Paul (R-Ky.).

The former co-workers also talked about a few solutions that could help get the country headed in the right direction. Beck said “progressivism” in the Republican Party has pitted those who “believe in big government” against those fighting to restore the U.S. Constitution and change things in Washington, D.C.

“There is a lot of progressive Republicans,” he said. “And you have to remember, Theodore Roosevelt is the guy who started it. They believe in big government. And I’m sorry to say Sean, and you know this to be true, we send people in there, and it’s like sending them to the lion’s den, just waiting to be eaten by the machine that is Washington now.”

Hannity went on to explain that former President Ronald Reagan challenged a sitting Republican president in 1976. “That’s kind of Tea Party-ish to me,” the host said.

Beck agreed, explaining that Reagan was also attacked as a “loose-cannon” who was going to “destroy the Republican Party.”

Glenn Beck to Values Voter Summit: ‘You are Looking at a One-Party System’

Photo Credit: Values Voter Summit web siteGlenn Beck praised GOP Sens. Ted Cruz and Mike Lee, but denounced the Republican Party leadership at the Values Voter Summit Saturday in Washington, D.C.

Beck even said the party could be going the way of the Whigs by not standing for principle.

“You are looking at a one-party system,” Beck told the audience. “You’re looking at a system with John Boehner, John Cornyn, Lindsey Graham, Chuck Schumer, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi — they’re all the same. I am thrilled to say we are finally standing up. We are finally saying, ‘No, this is what we believe, and we will not move.”

Beck said the notion that Cruz and Lee will harm the Republican Party by holding firm against Obamacare, spending, and the debt is wrong. He also said the fight is much bigger than Obamacare, and Republicans lack vision.

“I’m tired of people saying, ‘Oh, but we might lose’; yes…and we just might win,” Beck said, causing the ballroom to erupt in a rousing standing ovation.

Glenn Beck Reveals a Story He Hasn’t Been Able to Share for Over a Year

Photo Credit: TheBlaze TVGlenn Beck shared a story with viewers on Wednesday that he’s been keeping close to the vest since before the 2012 election, explaining that he’s been waiting for the right time to say what exactly happened, and what it means for the country.

It all began, Beck said, in what he believes was late August when he was getting ready to do a number of events with FreedomWorks.

“It’s about 4:00 in the afternoon and I get a call from the president of FreedomWorks, Matt Kibbe, and I can hear the distress in his voice,” Beck said. “[Kibbe said], ‘Glenn, I’ve just been escorted out of my office by armed guards and told not to come back.’”

Kibbe added that he wasn’t the only one forcefully escorted out, and that they had been hijacked, so to speak, by the “old guard” GOP establishment.

“There was a coup during the election, and it was powerful,” Beck said. “They were trying to get rid of the libertarian, Tea Party-minded power players, and first and foremost on that hit list was Matt Kibbe and his allies. They didn’t like the fact that FreedomWorks was cleaning house in the GOP…that they were targeting people like Orrin Hatch. It didn’t sit well with the Karl Roves of the GOP world…”
