INSANITY: Trans Golfer Wins Women’s Tournament, One Step Closer to LPGA Qualifier

A male-born transgender golfer is one more step closer to winning membership as a Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) competitor after winning a woman’s tournament in Florida.

Hailey Davidson, 30, won the NXXT Women’s Classic on Jan. 17 at the Mission Inn Resort and Club, near Orlando, Florida, with a one-over-73 score and finishing the three-round event at a +4, the New York Post reported.

Davidson, a Scottish-born man whose real name is James Scott Davidson, supposedly began hormone treatments in Sept. of 2015, the last year he he competed as a man, to begin the transition to a transgender woman, Golf Week reported.

After undergoing full gender reassignment surgery, Davidson set his sights on becoming a female pro golfer and won his first women’s tournament in May of 2021, five years after beginning the transition. By June of that year, Davidson received confirmation from the LPGA that he was eligible to join the league’s qualifying school and work towards earning his women’s golf membership card.

He claims that after his transition, all the power he had in his swing as a male is now gone as a female. So he claims he no long has a strength advantage. (Read more from “INSANITY: Trans Golfer Wins Women’s Tournament, One Step Closer to LPGA Qualifier” HERE)

The Narcissist-in-Chief Forces Military Couple to Relocate Wedding Just so He Can Play Golf

If “You’re Only President Once” means anything, it means telling a pair of Army officers who’ve spent months planning their Hawaiian dream wedding that they’ll have to make way because you simply must, must golf at that very hour.

It was the second time that day that the couple heard from the nation’s commander in chief, whose affinity for golf has, at times, caused political headaches for the White House. Stationed in Hawaii and knowing the president spends his Christmas holiday on the islands, they invited him to their ceremony on a lark. They had received a letter earlier on Saturday saying Obama regretted he couldn’t come and wishing them happiness on their wedding day.

“It was kind of ironic they got the letter from them and then, within hours, they were told they had to be moved due to him,” Jamie McCarthy, Mallue’s sister, said in an interview. “It was emotional, especially for her—she’s the bride and in less than 24 hours they had to change everything they had planned.” (Read more about the military couple who had to relocate wedding for Obama HERE)

Obama in Vegas: 32 Minutes for Immigration Speech, 9 Hours for Golf

President Barack Obama traveled to Las Vegas on Friday to speak to high school students about his plans to shield up to five million illegal aliens from deportation.

His speech at Del Sol High School lasted 32 minutes, according to pooled press accounts distributed by the White House, from 12:50 p.m. to 1:22 p.m.

On Saturday, the president spent approximately seven hours playing 27 holes of golf at the Shadow Creek Golf Course in North Las Vegas. On Sunday, he spent an additional two hours at the driving range and on the putting green at the Reflection Bay Golf Course on Lake Las Vegas.

The president therefore spent 17 times more time playing golf than he did selling his executive order – a 1,700 percent difference between the time he spent speaking and golfing.

The pool reporter said it an email to other reporters that the Shadow Creek Golf Course is “one of the most exclusive golf courses in the world.”

Obama Makes Room for Fundraisers, Golf in his Schedule Despite Obamacare Troubles

Photo Credit: REUTERS/Kevin Lamarque The bungled rollout of President Obama’s signature health care law might have kept the president away from Gettysburg, but it has not kept him off the links or away from the fundraising circuit.

Since the launch of the HealthCare.gov on October 1, Obama has gone golfing five times and attended ten fundraisers — with five more scheduled for the beginning of this week — while Obamacare’s favorability has hit all time lows.

And while President Obama’s schedule has been open for golf and fundraisers, he was unable to attend the anniversary of the Gettysburg Address Tuesday due to — as White House advisor Dan Pfeiffer put it – “this whole website thing that someone suggested might destroy the Dem Party.”

The problems affecting HealthCare.gov, however, did not stop Obama from golfing on Oct. 20, Oct. 27, Nov. 2, Nov. 9 or Nov. 17.

No Worries! Obama Golfs 150th Round as Superstorm Devastates Philippines, Iran Deal Enrages

Photo Credit: AP/Jacquelyn MartinPresident Obama’s approval ratings may be stuck in a sand trap, but that has not deterred him from sticking to his weekly round of golf.

After teeing off Saturday at the private course in Florida where the movie “Caddyshack” was filmed, Mr. Obama hit the milestone number of 150 golf rounds in less than five years in the White House.

The Secret Service loaded Mr. Obama’s golf bag emblazoned with the presidential seal into the motorcade Saturday morning to head to the private Grande Oaks Golf Club in Davie. Sporting a blue polo shirt, tan slacks and a cap, Mr. Obama spent five hours on the private course with former NBA star Alonzo Mourning, friend Cyrus Walker and former U.S. Trade Representative Ron Kirk.

Mr. Obama wasn’t much of a golfer before he ran for president. His regularity on the greens started April 26, 2009. He played 27 times that first year in office, including seven rounds during his vacations on Martha’s Vineyard and Hawaii.

In his second year as president, Mr. Obama played a little more — 30 rounds. He included a woman for only the second time when Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius joined on Oct. 10, 2010.

Report: Obama Spent Twice as Much Time on Vacation/Golf as Economy

Photo Credit: Breitbart According to a new report by the nonpartisan Government Accountability Institute (GAI), President Barack Obama has spent over twice as many hours on vacation and golf (976 hours) as he has in economic meetings of any kind (474.4 hours)…

GAI’s findings may actually understate Obama’s recreational hours.

Last year, Obama told CBS News that playing golf is “the only time that for six hours, I’m outside.” But instead of six hours, GAI counted a round of golf as taking just four hours. Likewise, for presidential vacation hours, researchers attributed just six hours of any day of vacation to leisure activity.

“Like most people, presidents still do work while on vacation,” said GAI President Peter Schweizer. “So we really went out of our way to fairly and accurately reflect how the president spends his time.”

Reporter Asks Carney: Will Obama Cut Back On Lavish Vacations, Golf Trips?

Photo Credit: U.S. Embassy Jakarta, Indonesia

A reporter from Colorado asked White House spokesman Jay Carney how President Obama justifies “lavish vacations” and golf trips, and whether he plans to cut back.

Carney responded, “I can tell you that this president is focused every day on policies that create economic growth and help advance job creation.”

Here’s the full exchange:

Q. All right. I wanted to follow up on this young woman’s question about the high unemployment out in places like Colorado, all around the country, especially in the minority communities — exceptionally high unemployment. And when there is government workers who may be furloughed, millions of Americans unemployed, and family budgets that have been cut, how does the President justify lavish vacations and a golf trip to Florida at taxpayer expense? And does he plan to cut back on his travel?

A.  I can tell you that this President is focused every day on policies that create economic growth and help advance job creation.  We have presided over the past three years over an economy that’s produced over 6.3 million private sector jobs, and we have more work to do.  And this President’s number-one priority is growth and job creation.

Obama Plays Extortionist-In-Chief

Photo Credit: Allison Harger At the end of 1995 and stretching into January 1996, the federal government “shut down” because of an impasse between President Clinton and House Republicans led by then-Speaker Newt Gingrich. The issue was increased taxes vs. less spending. Sound familiar? The government re-opened when a bipartisan agreement was reached to balance the budget by 2003. It wasn’t balanced by then, for reasons that included but were not limited to two wars. Now the national debt is racing toward an unsustainable $17 trillion.

This time around it isn’t about closing government. It’s about “sequestration,” which President Obama, the Democrats and their big media toadies are styling as economic Armageddon.

On Tuesday, following another vacation and a round of golf with the disgraced Tiger Woods, Obama appeared in the Eisenhower Executive Office building next to the White House. Behind him on risers, looking like a church choir but without the robes, was his usual Greek chorus of potential victims should Republicans cut spending by a single dollar.

The president said the cuts from sequestration would be “brutal” if lawmakers allow “this meat-cleaver approach to take place.” Military readiness would be hurt, he claimed, if these cuts were allowed to happen. Investments in energy curtailed, medical research impaired, teachers laid off (I wasn’t aware the federal government paid teacher salaries) and emergency responders couldn’t respond.

Once again, the president offered up the old bait and switch: “targeted spending cuts” along with “closing tax loopholes.” As has happened before, if Republicans agree to this (and they had better not if the party is to survive) they’ll likely get inconsequential “cuts,” if any, but tax hikes will occur right away. More importantly, any new revenue will likely not reduce the debt because Democrats in Congress are noted for spending new revenue and they won’t deal with the major reason for the debt: entitlements.

Golfing While the Constitution Burns

When Barack Obama and John Boehner played golf this weekend, they played on the same team. How appropriate.

Barack Obama has violated the Constitution’s war-making power – reserved by Article I, Section 8, to Congress – from the moment he sent American troops into harm’s way without Congressional approval. He has been violating the War Powers Resolution since at least the 60th day of that campaign. And he has violated the most liberal reading of that act – the one Boehner has adopted as his own – since this weekend. Yet despite the letter Boehner authored last week, which the media presented as an “ultimatum,” Obama has neither obtained Congressional authorization nor removed our troops. Boehner’s letter weakly supplicated “I sincerely hope the Administration will faithfully comply with the War Powers Resolution,” but at least it seemed to set this weekend as a definitive cut-off point.

The “deadline” has come and gone, and Obama has not answered the most burning questions of the mission’s legality to anyone’s satisfaction. Instead, the president has thumbed his nose at Congress in general, Boehner in particular, and the American people at large, and the Speaker-cum-caddy has made no meaningful response whatsoever.

Obama insists the American role in Libya is too diminutive to constitute “hostilities,” so his action is perfectly legal. White House spokesman Jay Carney repeated his boss’s party line at Monday’s press conference, stating, “the War Powers Resolution does not need to be involved because the ‘hostilities’ clause of that resolution is not met.” However, soldiers in Libya are receiving an additional $25 a month in “imminent danger pay.” American drones still rain missiles down upon military targets. NATO is alternately bombing Muammar Qaddafi’s home and killing the innocent Libyan civilians they are purportedly protecting. (We had to kill the civilians in order to save them?) NATO admitted (at least) one of its bombs went off target on Sunday, killing nine civilians in Tripoli, while allied bombs allegedly killed 15 civilians in Sorman on Monday.

Not to worry, though; Defense Secretary Robert Gates said over the weekend, in a confidence-builder worthy of Churchill, “I think this is going to end OK.” Gates, who once opposed the Libyan adventure, has pulled a 180 on the matter.
