Feds Warn: Hamas, Hezbollah Could Be Crossing Southern Border

Federal officials are warning that members of Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) and Hezbollah could be crossing through the southern border, according to an internal October 20 memo exclusively obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation.

The San Diego Field Office Intelligence Division of Customs and Border Protection (CBP) sent the memo warning that due to the war between Israel and Hamas, there could be encounters of terror-tied individuals who are seeking to travel to or from the Middle East via transit across the southern border. Hamas, PIJ and Hezbollah, all of which are U.S.-designated terrorist organizations, have been committing attacks on Israel in a war that began with a surprise attack on hundreds of civilians on October 7.

“San Diego Field Office Intelligence Unit assesses that individuals inspired by, or reacting to the current Israel-Hamas conflict may attempt travel to or from the area of hostilities in the Middle East via circuitous transit across the Southwest border,” the memo reads.

“Foreign fighters motivated by ideology or mercenary soldiers of fortune may attempt to obfuscate travel to or from the US to or from countries in the Middle East through Mexico,” the memo adds. (Read more from “Feds Warn: Hamas, Hezbollah Could Be Crossing Southern Border” HERE)

Majority of Muslim Americans Believe Hamas Was ‘Justified’ in Its Terror Attacks Against Israel

A new poll released late last week found that the majority of Muslim Americans believes that Hamas was “justified” in committing terrorist attacks against Israel.

The poll from Cygnal surveyed over 2,000 people from October 16-18 to gauge the public’s overall awareness and attitudes about what was happening in Israel.

A majority overall, 50.6%, have a positive opinion of Israel compared to only 12% who have a negative opinion while 37% were neutral. The two groups that had the highest negative views of Israel were Muslim Americans at 36.5% and Democrats at 15.7%. The groups that had the largest positive views of Israel were Jewish Americans at 85.1% (vs less than 5% negative) and Republicans at 64.9% (vs less than 9% negative).

The results showed that Muslim Americans were far less educated about numerous aspects of the atrocities committed by Palestinian terrorists than Jewish Americans. For example, only 10.8% of Jewish Americans were “not aware” of the fact that Hamas had decapitated babies compared to 34.1% of Muslim Americans who were “not aware.” (Read more from “Majority of Muslim Americans Believe Hamas Was ‘Justified’ in Its Terror Attacks Against Israel” HERE)

Defense Secretary Issues Prepare-To-Deploy Orders for U.S. Troops to the Middle East

Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin placed additional U.S. troops on prepare-to-deploy orders to the Middle East Sunday after speaking with President Joe Biden.

“I have placed an additional number of forces on prepare to deploy orders as part of prudent contingency planning, to increase their readiness and ability to quickly respond as required,” he said in a statement.

The number of forces put on prepare-to-deploy orders was not specified, but the Pentagon has previously confirmed the number was roughly 2,000. Some troops would come from the U.S. and some from within Europe or other areas of operation.

Austin said he has also activated the deployment of a Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) battery as well as additional Patriot battalions to locations throughout the region to increase protection for U.S. forces.

The Real Reason Hamas Just Released Two American Hostages

According to Israeli officials, Iranian-backed terrorist organization Hamas released two American hostages Friday afternoon for “humanitarian” purposes after kidnapping and holding them in the Gaza Strip for nearly two weeks. The release of Natalie and Judith Raanan, a mother and daughter from Illinois, was reportedly negotiated by Qatar – a major non-NATO U.S. ally under heavy scrutiny for harboring Hamas leaders who live in luxury in the capitol of Doha.

“Today, we have secured the release of two Americans taken hostage by Hamas during the horrific terrorist assault against Israel on October 7. Our fellow citizens have endured a terrible ordeal these past 14 days, and I am overjoyed that they will soon be reunited with their family, who has been wracked with fear,” President Joe Biden released in a statement. “These individuals and their family will have the full support of the United States government as they recover and heal, and we should all respect their privacy in this moment.”

“From the earliest moments of this attack, we have been working around-the-clock to free American citizens who were taken hostage by Hamas, and we have not ceased our efforts to secure the release of those who are still being held. I thank the government of Qatar and the government of Israel for their partnership in this work,” the president continued. “Jill and I have been holding close in our hearts all the families of unaccounted for Americans. And, as I told those families when I spoke with them last week—we will not stop until we get their loved ones home. As president, I have no higher priority than the safety of Americans held hostage around the world.”

New Yorker Who Survived Hamas Festival Massacre Stunned by Antisemitism Protests at Home: ‘Feel Safer in Israel Than in U.S.’

A Long Island native who survived Hamas’ slaughter at an Israeli music festival said she still doesn’t feel safe after returning home due to the increasing acts of antisemitism put on display at the countless protests that have erupted since the war began.

Natalie Sanandaji, 28, thought the worst was over after surviving the horrifying attack on Oct. 7 and returning home a week later, but the Jewish New Yorker said the ensuing onslaught of antisemitism scares her.

“A lot of people have asked if I’m scared to go back to Israel after everything that’s happened, and my honest answer is … now more than ever, I want to move to Israel,” Sanandaji told The Post as she calmly recalled her terrifying ordeal Friday.

“Even with everything going on, I feel safer there than I do in the US right now.”

The Iranian Israeli, who lives in a Jewish community on Long Island, said this is the first time in her life that she started to get hate for her faith. Hamas Leader Compared Israeli Policies to the ‘Racist’ Killing of George Floyd (VIDEO)

A 2021 Vice interview with Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar has resurfaced, comparing the Israeli policies to the “racism” that “killed” George Floyd.

During the interview, Sinwar claimed that George Floyd was killed because U.S. police officers are “racist,” likening it to how Israeli forces treat Palestinians.

“And I want to take this opportunity to remember the racist murder of George Floyd,” Sinwar said. “George Floyd was killed as a result of a racist ideology held by some people. The same type of racism that killed George Floyd is being used by Israel against the Palestinians in Jerusalem, the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, and in the West Bank.”

Nearly two weeks after the initial attack on Israel by the terrorist group Hamas, more than 1,400 Israeli citizens are dead, including Americans and children. More than 200 people have been taken hostage as well. (Read more from “Hamas Leader Compared Israeli Policies to the ‘Racist’ Killing of George Floyd (VIDEO)” HERE)

Former Israeli PM Scolds CNN for Echoing Hamas on Hospital Attack: ‘Do Your Job, Not Everything Has Two Sides’

Israel’s former prime minister Natftali Bennett scolded the media for appearing to take sides in their reports on the Gaza hospital strike, while appearing on CNN on Wednesday.

“There are no two sides to this hospital [attack]. Either it was bombed by Israel, or it was targeted by someone else on the Palestinian side,” Bennett said to host Anderson Cooper.

“If two people come and say — one says it’s raining outside and the other says it’s dry, you don’t bring the quotes of both sides. You just G–d—n open the window and look whether it’s raining or not. That’s what we did and this hospital, in fact, it’s a parking lot, was hit definitely, 100% by Islamic Jihad barrage,” he bluntly remarked.

The Israeli politician said three different videos, from various angles, and ballistics confirmed that Israel was not responsible. He also said they had intercepted radio messages from two Hamas terrorists saying Islamic Jihad was responsible for the attack. . .

“So, Anderson, with all due respect there aren’t two sides to this. Not everything is two sides, and I have a feeling that if it wasn’t the state of Israel then I think the global media would have behaved very differently,” he stated. Hamas Lied: Number of Estimated Deaths at Gaza Hospital Hit by Rocket Lower Than Palestinian Claims, Reports Say

The Hamas-run Palestinian Health Ministry claimed earlier this week that Israel targeted a hospital in Gaza, dropped a bomb on it, and killed more than 500 people.

Democrats, legacy news publications, and notorious anti-Semitic propagandists instantly made the claims go viral Tuesday night on social media.

Every aspect of what the Palestinians claimed happened has effectively been debunked through evidence and refuted in statements released by Israeli officials, U.S. officials, and now European officials.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) released evidence showing that the explosion was not caused by an aerial bomb and did not strike the hospital — it exploded in a parking lot. It also released intercepted communications from Hamas terrorists who said the explosion was caused by a rocket fired by the Palestinian Islamic Jihad. Rashida Tlaib Sobs as She Repeats Hamas Claim About Hospital Bombing

Democratic Michigan Rep. Rashida Tlaib sobbed during a Wednesday speech as she repeated Hamas’ disputed claim that an Israeli airstrike kill hundreds of people at a hospital in the Gaza Strip.

A blast on the Al Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza City left over 500 dead Tuesday night, Gazan authorities claimed. Officials with the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have denied Hamas’ claim that an Israeli airstrike caused the bombing, blaming the explosion instead on a rocket launched by the Palestinian Islamic Jihad. Subsequent analysis has questioned the initially reported death toll and suggested that that the rocket struck the parking lot and caused no significant damage to hospital structures.

Tlaib, along with Democratic Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar, have refused to retract their claims repeating Hamas’ accusations against Israel. The Michigan congresswoman, who is outspokenly pro-Palestine, attended a rally calling for a ceasefire.

“To continue to watch people think it’s okay to bomb a hospital where children … you know what’s so hard sometimes is watching those videos and the people telling the kids, ‘Don’t cry.’ I’m like, ‘Let them cry,’” Tlaib said while beginning to cry herself. “And they’re shaking, and you know this, they keep telling them not to cry. They can cry, I can cry, we all can cry. If we’re not crying, something is wrong and so I’m telling you right now, President [Joe] Biden, not all of America is with you on this one.”

Has Israel Hit ‘Pause’ on Ground Invasion, or Is It Planning ‘Something Different’ for Hamas?

In the blinding fog of war, ambiguity is often a calculated stance rather than mere indecision. This could be the case with Israel’s military strategy in its war against Hamas. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) last week indicated that it was prepared to up the ante by sending ground troops into the Gaza Strip, the territory Hamas controls.

The IDF had rallied a strong force around Gaza’s perimeter, but now, the impending incursion appears to have been paused, leaving the international community in a state of speculation.

Israel’s Defence Forces have spent the past week preparing for a massive operation to crush Hamas after some 360,000 reservists were called up to encircle Gaza with tanks, artillery and armoured vehicles.

But now the expected ground assault appears to be on hold, with IDF spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Richard Hecht refusing to confirm his troops will deploy into the Palestinian enclave.

‘We are preparing for the next stages of war. We haven’t said what they will be,’ Lt Col Hecht teased.
