A woman is being credited for ending a hostage situation on Tuesday by sending a message seeking help along with her order to a Pizza Hut in Avon Park, where employees made sure help was on the way.

The order had an added comment that said a mother and her children were being held by a man, and the message was spotted by Chef Alonia Hawk . . .

“It said ‘Please help! Get 911 to me.’ And she placed a pizza order and then down here it said, ‘911 hostage help,” said Hamilton . . .

Lt. Curtis Ludden, a hostage negotiator from the Highlands County Sheriff’s Office, was first to arrive at the victim’s home. Treadway ran out holding one of her children, but two others stayed inside with their father, Ethan Nickerson. Investigators said he was armed with a knife and wouldn’t answer the door . . .

According to the media release, Chief Deputy Mark Schrader “credits the quick thinking of Cheryl Treadway, in sending the text message for help, and the efficient quick response from Lt. Ludden, Sgt. Dave Stewart, Deputy Robert Livesay and Deputy Chad Douberly; in bringing this feasibly violent situation to a peaceful conclusion.” (Read more from “Pizza Hut Order Reveals Hostage Situation” HERE)

Officials: Christopher Dorner May Be Dead Following Deadly Standoff

Andy Smith says that despite earlier reports, Christopher Dorner’s body has not been recovered from a burned out cabin where he was reportedly holed up during a deadly shootout with authorities earlier today.

Cindy Bachman of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department says authorities have not yet been able to enter the cabin, but when they do, they believe they will find a body inside.

Dorner, who allegedly shot and killed his fourth victim — a San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputy — was barricaded inside a Seven Oaks residence for several hours Tuesday afternoon. He is also accused of shooting a second deputy, who was undergoing surgery after being airlifted to Loma Linda University Medical Center.

The home, ironically, is located near the Sheriff’s outpost that was set up earlier this week as part of the search for him.

CBS2′s Carter Evans reported that tear gas was fired into the house before the fire broke out. A single shot was also heard at that time, according to CBS2′s Juan Fernandez. During a news conference earlier in the day, LAPD Cmdr. Andy Smith urged Dorner to surrender.

Video: US Suspects Iran Behind Hostage Photos of Ex-FBI Agent, As Wife Calls for Action

The wife of a missing retired FBI agent is calling on the U.S. government to put more pressure on Iran to send her husband home, as she releases photos that she received two years ago of her husband as a hostage.

Robert Levinson, a private investigator, disappeared in 2007 on the Iranian island of Kish. The Iranian government has repeatedly denied knowing anything about his disappearance, and the disturbing video and photos that Levinson’s family received in late 2010 and early 2011 seemed to give credence to the idea.

U.S. officials now see the government of Iran behind the images and video, intelligence officials told The Associated Press, and Levinson’s wife, Christine Levinson, wants the world to know she hasn’t given up hope of seeing him again.

“I believe he is still alive,” she said in an interview Tuesday night with Fox News’ Greta Van Susteren. “I believe he is spending every waking hour making sure that he is well enough to come home to us.”

Their oldest daughter is getting married in a month, Levinson said. U.S. officials have told her they are doing everything they can, but investigators haven’t been able to find much information about him.
