House Democrats Move Further Left After the 2024 Elections

House Democrats did not learn a lesson from the 2024 elections in which the GOP swept into a federal trifecta and made gains across the country. They are instead deciding to become even more radical and even more hysterical than ever before.

The two most high-profile, high-exposure House committees are the Judiciary Committee and Oversight Committee. The Judiciary Committee is where House Republicans have spent the past few years interrogating the heads of the FBI, the Secret Service, President Joe Biden’s Justice Department, and the officials involved in Biden’s border crisis. The House Judiciary Committee under the GOP has also examined Wall Street firms colluding with climate activists to strongarm companies into left-wing climate goals.

House Democrats have tossed aside Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY) to make Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) the new top Democrat on the Judiciary Committee. Raskin is among the most radical and most hysterical Democrats in Congress, an election denier who tried to overturn the results of the 2016 presidential election and who intentionally undermined trust in the 2024 elections by suggesting there is no way they could be “free, fair, and honest” if President-elect Donald Trump won. He is also a wannabe tyrant who wants to force Supreme Court justices he disagrees with off of cases and change the entire electoral system to fit what he thinks will help Democrats cling to power.

Raskin has also said the antisemitic junior varsity communists of “The Squad” are “the Truth Squad” in his eyes, and one of those members will soon be replacing him as the leading Democrat on the Oversight Committee. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) reportedly has won over the majority of Oversight Democrats and already clearly has Raskin’s seal of approval, lining her up to lead the Democrats on the committee that Republicans have used to investigate Gov. Dems Turn On Biden: Denounce President’s ‘Open-Borders Policies’

Fourteen House Democrats voted to denounce the Biden administration‘s “open-borders policies” on Wednesday amid a surge in crossings and blue cities around the country getting overwhelmed with migrants.

The group of party defectors joined with all voting Republicans in passing a resolution introduced by Rep. Nathaniel Moran (R-TX). Twelve Democrats and nine Republicans did not vote.

In addition to denouncing the policies, the resolution condemned the “national security and public safety crisis along the southwest border” and urged President Joe Biden to “end his administration’s open-borders policies.”

Among the 14 who broke ranks was Rep. Colin Allred (D-TX), a former Tennessee Titans linebacker and Obama administration official who is taking on Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) in the 2024 election. The others were Reps. Yadira Caraveo (D-CO), Angie Craig (D-MN), Henry Cuellar (D-TX), Donald Davis (D-NC), Jared Golden (D-ME), Vicente Gonzalez (D-TX), Greg Landsman (D-OH), Susie Lee (D-NV), Jared Moskowitz (D-FL), Wiley Nickel (D-NC), Mary Peltola (D-AK), Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (D-WA), and Eric Sorensen (D-IL). House Democrats Block Defense Assistance for Israel (VIDEO)

A Motion to Recommit (MTR) that would have affirmed the U.S. policy of providing defense articles including munitions, aircraft, and technology to Israel was voted down by 217 House Democrats Thursday afternoon.

The measure would have required President Biden and his administration to develop “contingency plans to provide Israel with necessary defense articles and services” and allowed Biden to “direct the immediate transfer to Israel of such defense articles or defense services… necessary to assist Israel in its defense” when Israel is under military threat.

In a floor speech supporting the motion, Rep. Michael McCaul (R-TX)—who serves as the Republican Leader on the House Foreign Affairs Committee—noted last month’s rocket attacks by Hamas terrorists were “a stark reminder of the dangerous threats that Israel faces.”
