Alex Pretti Appears to Spit at ICE, Kick Out Tail Light in Previous Minneapolis Confrontation Before He Was Shot by Border Patrol

Harrowing new footage shows Alex Pretti armed, spitting at federal immigration officers and smashing the taillights of their black SUV during a chaotic clash more than a week before he was fatally shot by Border Patrol agents in Minneapolis.

The video, which the BBC said it has verified, captured the ICU nurse yelling at agents while they were driving away during a heated Jan. 13 protest before booting the back of the car, prompting them to jump out and tackle him to the ground, according to footage from The News Movement.

The man — who was wearing similar clothing in the video to what Pretti had on when he was fatally shot last Saturday — was taken to the ground by at least five agents, who deployed tear gas into the whistle-blowing crowd during the wild confrontation.

The horde of agents continued to hold him down until he retreated and joined the raucous crowd in shouting at the agents — with a gun visibly tucked into the back of his pants.

Homeland Security Investigations is “reviewing” the newest footage of the 37-year-old’s apparent prior brush with federal agents, the Department of Homeland Security told The Post. Renee Good’s Former Father-in-Law: ‘I Don’t Blame ICE’ for Her Death

Timmy Macklin, father-in-law of Renee Good, said he doesn’t blame Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) for her death.

Macklin called the shooting of his former daughter-in-law a “hard situation all around” and said that “some bad choices” were made, during an interview with CNN on Tuesday.

“I don’t blame ICE. I don’t blame [Good’s “wife”] Rebecca. I don’t blame Renee,” he told Erin Burnett. “I just wish that, you know, if we’re walking in the spirit of God, I don’t think she would have been there. That’s the way I look at it.”

Macklin’s son had previously been married to Good before he died in 2023. The two share a now six-year-old son. Macklin described his former daughter-in-law as “an amazing person” and “good mother.”

“I just think we make bad choices, and that’s the problem, there is so much chaos in the whole world today,” he said. “We need to turn to God and walk in the spirit of God and let him lead us and guide us.”

Man Charged With Felony Assault for Throwing Subway Sandwich at Federal Agent

A Washington, D.C., man has been charged with felony assault after allegedly striking a federal officer with a Subway sandwich during an incident earlier this week.

Prosecutors say 37-year-old Sean Charles Dunn threw the sandwich at a U.S. Customs and Border Protection agent who was among federal officers deployed by President Trump to the streets of D.C. The attack reportedly occurred Sunday night, when Dunn was heard shouting that the officers were “fascists” before hurling the sandwich, hitting the agent in the chest.

According to a criminal complaint, Dunn later admitted to police, “I did it. I threw a sandwich.” Video footage of the encounter was cited in the case.

U.S. Attorney for D.C. Jeanine Pirro announced the charges Wednesday, stating, “The police are not out there to get pushed around or beat up.”

President Trump began deploying federal personnel to address crime in D.C. on August 7, asserting federal control over the Metropolitan Police Department and activating the National Guard. According to the White House, hundreds of additional officers have made more than 100 arrests since their arrival, including suspects accused of gun crimes, drug offenses, and outstanding warrants.

Democrats Target Masked ICE Agents, Despite Enforcing $500 Fines for Going Maskless During COVID

Michigan Democrats are aiming to prosecute Immigration Customs and Enforcement (ICE) agents for wearing masks—yes, the same party that imposed $500 fines on citizens for not wearing masks during the COVID era. After years of enforcing strict pandemic mandates, including mask requirements backed by hefty penalties, state Democrats have shifted gears, targeting federal immigration officers for concealing their identities while enforcing the law.

State House Democrats, sponsored by Rep. Betsy Coffia (D-Traverse City), introduced a proposed bill earlier this month that would result in law enforcement officers who attempt to conceal their faces or identities while on the job in Michigan facing jail time. Coffia claimed that ICE agents wearing masks “mirror the tactics of secret police in authoritarian regimes and stray from the norms that define legitimate local law enforcement.”

“It confuses and frightens communities. Those who protect and serve our community should not do so behind a concealed identity,” she said, announcing with a banner behind her that boldly proclaimed, “Justice doesn’t need a mask.”

While state Democrats argue that these so-called “secret police” tactics sow fear, reduce accountability, and endanger the public and other law enforcement, the Trump administration has maintained that allowing ICE agents to wear masks is essential for their safety—protecting officers and their families from harassment, doxxing, and threats once their identities are exposed online or in public.

“For the average person, these incidents look like violent kidnappings,” Coffia added. “With this new federal tactic of wearing masks with no identification, there is no way for the public, the people being accosted or grabbed or even local law enforcement and local, state elected leaders to know who these folks are.” (Read more from “Democrats Target Masked ICE Agents, Despite Enforcing $500 Fines for Going Maskless During COVID” HERE)

Dems Try to Remove GOP Witness Criticizing Left’s Attacks on ICE Agents at Hearing

During a House Homeland Security Committee hearing on Wednesday, Democrats attempted to remove a witness when he expressed concern over the Left’s increasing violence against federal immigration officials as they attempt to enforce the law.

Wednesday’s hearing examined the role of nongovernmental organizations in exacerbating human trafficking, crimes, and the illegal immigration crisis through their handling of federal funds.

Democrats claimed that Republican efforts to hold pro-illegal immigration organizations accountable equated to an “attack” on religious freedom and that Oversight Project President Mike Howell’s testimony, which condemned escalating violence from the Left against law enforcement officers carrying out federal immigration law, was beyond the purview of the hearing.

Rep. Bennie Thompson, D-Miss., led the effort to expel Howell and invalidate his testimony. Thompson complained Howell was going “outside the scope of this hearing.”

Howell, whose work at the independent watchdog group the Oversight Project has exposed the failures of the U.S. immigration system under the Biden presidency, had voiced his concerns about the rising violence against Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents before Thompson attempted to remove him from the hearing. Trump Promises ‘No Amnesty’ For Illegal Alien Agricultural Workers

President Donald Trump promised “no amnesty” for illegal immigrant agricultural workers on Tuesday. Trump had caused concerns about the potential of an amnesty program when he told a group of Iowans on July 3 that farmers would be able to “vouch” for their illegal workers, allowing them to stay in the United States.

But at a Tuesday cabinet meeting, Trump doubled down on promising “no amnesty,” while also having Department of Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins and Department of Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer weigh in on how to maintain agricultural production and the hospitality industry without the illegal labor.

“There’s no amnesty. What we’re doing is we’re getting rid of criminals, but we are doing a work program,” Trump said in the meeting. “We’ve got to give the farmers the people they need, but we’re not talking amnesty.”

Trump’s comments followed remarks he made in the past couple of weeks that indicated he was concerned that the agricultural industry would be destroyed if it did not have access to illegal labor.

“Our great Farmers and people in the Hotel and Leisure business have been stating that our very aggressive policy on immigration is taking very good, long time workers away from them, with those jobs being almost impossible to replace,” he posted to social media on June 12. “In many cases the Criminals allowed into our Country by the VERY Stupid Biden Open Borders Policy are applying for those jobs. This is not good. We must protect our Farmers, but get the CRIMINALS OUT OF THE USA. Changes are coming!” (Read more from “Trump Promises ‘No Amnesty’ For Illegal Alien Agricultural Workers” HERE)

Comptroller and Mayoral Candidate Lander Arrested by ICE at Federal Plaza in NYC

City comptroller Brad Lander was dramatically arrested by ICE agents Tuesday in a chaotic scene outside a federal immigration court – drawing outrage and support from his fellow Democratic mayoral primary candidates.

Eye-popping video from 26 Federal Plaza showed Lander being manhandled and cuffed by the feds after the comptroller vocally protested masked federal agents hauling away a man leaving an immigration hearing.

Lander repeatedly demanded to see a judicial warrant as he kept his hand clutched on the detainee’s shoulder, video obtained by The Post shows.

After Lander refused to let go, an officer could be heard saying, “Take him in,” prompting agents to cuff him.

“You don’t have the authority to arrest US citizens,” Lander repeated in protest, video shows.

“I’m not obstructing, I am standing right here in the hallway. I asked to see the judicial warrant. … You don’t have the authority to arrest US citizens asking for a judicial warrant.” (Read more from “Comptroller and Mayoral Candidate Lander Arrested by ICE at Federal Plaza in NYC” HERE)

Bill Would Stop Giving Federal Handouts to Cities That Obstruct Immigration Law Enforcement

As the leftists running Los Angeles fail to get the leftists destroying Los Angeles under control, two Republican lawmakers aim to hold sanctuary governments accountable for impeding federal law enforcement officials from enforcing immigration law.

Reps. Brandon Gill, R-Texas, and Sheri Biggs, R-S.C., on Tuesday introduced the Mobilizing Against Sanctuary Cities Act, which “blocks federal financial assistance for one year to any city or state that refuses to honor ICE [Immigration and Customs Enforcement] detainers.” The legislation also prohibits state and local governments restricting communications with the Department of Homeland Security.

“If any city refuses to comply with the laws of our nation, blatantly works against the Department of Homeland Security, and wastes billions of taxpayer dollars shielding illegal aliens at the risk of American citizens, then they should be cut off from receiving even a penny of federal funding,” Gill said in a joint press release.

A similar Republican-led bill introduced by Rep. Jeff Duncan of South Carolina died in the last session of Congress. . .

Sanctuary cities, such as Los Angeles, bar local police from helping ICE and other federal law enforcement officials with immigration-related operations. In November, the Los Angeles City Council unanimously voted to officially designate the nation’s second-largest city a sanctuary city, “prohibiting city resources or personnel from being used to help federal enforcement of immigration laws,” NBC4 Los Angeles reported. The vote came two weeks after President Donald Trump was elected.

Democrats Claim ICE Agents ‘Roughed Them Up.’ Body-Cam Footage Says Otherwise.

Several New Jersey Democrats claimed that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents got “rough” with them on Friday, but body-cam footage told a very different story.

The incident unfolded outside Delaney Hall, a detention facility housing criminal illegal aliens in Newark, New Jersey, as several House Democrats (New Jersey Reps. Bonnie Watson-Coleman, LaMonica McIver, and Rob Menendez) pushed past security and demanded access to and oversight of the facility.

According to reports, the protesters waited outside the gate until it was opened for a vehicle transporting detainees, at which point they rushed through the gate. Democratic Newark Mayor Ras Baraka also participated in the breach and was arrested.

On Saturday, after the Garden State Democrats claimed that they’d been manhandled and roughed up by the ICE agents, the Justice Department released body-cam footage of the clash between protesters and officers.

Lawless Governor Issues Guidelines to Shield Illegal Aliens From ICE Agents

Democrats chose a hill to die on—they will defend the last violent, human-trafficking Central American gangbanger escape from ICE no matter what the cost.

According to documents leaked by conservative radio host Dan O’Donnell, a Department of Administration (DOA) memo dated April 18 lays out explicit steps for Wisconsin state workers to follow when ICE agents arrive at government buildings.

Instead of cooperating with federal immigration enforcement, employees are being told to stonewall — refuse to answer questions, deny access to files, and even demand agents leave if no attorney is available.

The outrageous memo directs state employees to treat federal agents like unwanted intruders rather than trusted law enforcement partners. . .

In short, employees are ordered to stall, obstruct, and protect illegal aliens — even if those aliens are dangerous criminals wanted by the federal government. (Read more from “Lawless Governor Issues Guidelines to Shield Illegal Aliens From ICE Agents” HERE)
