Explaining the Confusing Sunni-Shia Sectarian Wars and America’s National Interest [+video]

Enemy Belief System

Islam is divided into two primary sects. They are the Sunnis that constitute 80-85% of the 1.6 billion Islamic followers worldwide and the Shia that comprise 10-13% of the other adherents. There are additional component factions of Islam such as the Sufi, Druze, Alawi, Alevi, and Ahmadiyya that make up the remainder of the “umma,” or Islamic world community. But the Islamic contingents that are in active war with the U.S. and Western Civilization are the Sunni Salafi Wahhabis and the Shia Khomeinist Twelvers.

These two strains of Islam comprise an Islamic enemy that is dedicated to overthrowing the U.S. Constitution and replacing it with Islamic Sharia law. These Muslim sects both believe Islamic scripture mandates that Islamic Sharia theocratic-jurisprudence must supersede all man-conceived, secular-governmental-legal systems (i.e., democracy, communism, fascism, monarchy) because the Islamic Sharia-religious-legal system is based on divinely-revealed canons. Therefore, it cannot be subordinate to any human-conceptualized legal codes. So, according to Islamic scripture, no other legal system can coexist in the same physical territory at the same time with Islamic Sharia.

In order to install Sharia theocratic-jurisprudence in non-Muslim lands, Muslims are conducting “jihad” religious war. If and when the jihadist “soldiers of Allah” succeed in their jihadist conquest, the non-Muslims have only one of three options: 1) convert to Islam; 2) surrender and agree to be part of Islamic Sharia-ruled society as second class citizens with only limited rights by acknowledging the superiority of Islam through paying annual “jizya” – that is, mafia-like “extortion-protection money,” or 3) resist and fight to the death.

Islamic jihad is the “forever war” because Muhammad declared he had been ordered by the Islamic god Allah to fight until all non-Muslims declare their allegiance to Allah and Muhammad: “I have been commanded to fight people until they testify that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.” The recitation pledge that Muhammad demanded of non-Muslims is the Islamic creed or oath of belief (“Shahada”) signifying religious conversion to Islam: “There is no god but Allah, Muhammad is the messenger of Allah.” (The Islamic “Shahada” is comparable to the Christian “Nicene Creed” and the Jewish “Shema Yisrael.”) Muhammad is considered by Muslims to be the “perfect man” that all Muslims are exhorted to emulate, so Muslims are enjoined in this declaration to fight like Muhammad until the worldwide victory of Islam is achieved. One of the “forever war” Quranic injunctions that Muhammad was encapsulating with his never-ending war declaration is contained in Sura 8:39: “And fight them [non-Muslims] until there is no fitna [disbelief, or the disorder that results from unbelief in Islam] and (until) the religion, all of it, is for Allah.”

So, to summarize, the United States Government is confronted by Islamic enemies from both the Sunni and Shia sects. These Islamic sects are in fact existential adversaries of the U.S. Constitution and advocates of the Islamic Sharia in its place; hence Islamic Sharia religious-political doctrine is a nemesis of the very idea of the liberties, freedoms, and separation of church and state embodied in the U.S. Constitution and U.S. legal system. Furthermore, Islamic scripture calls for Muslims to wage war without end until they succeed in Islamizing the entire world. The strategy of jihad warfare is that, once Sharia jurisprudence is instituted as the law of the land, all obstacles (human, legal, and cultural) to making Islam the sole, dominant religion can be systematically removed.

Enemy Divisions

However, besides conducting the jihadist war on the U.S., the Sunni Salafi Wahhabis and Shia Khomeinist Twelvers are engaged in an Islamic sectarian religious civil war to convince the umma that theirs is the ascendant Islamic jihadist sect to follow. This same competition between Sunni and Shia has been continuous in various forms and intensities since the death of Mohammed in the 7th century. These sects have cooperated in the past 1400 years in waging jihad against the “infidel” West, so the West should not be surprised should they do it in the future, but at this time the Sunni Salafist Wahhabis and Shia Khomeinist Twelvers are so fanatically committed to destroying each other that the twofold Islamic threat facing the U.S. currently must be understood within that sectarian existential paradigm.

Furthermore, the battlefield has yet another complicating factor in order that the conflict be accurately understood. It is that the Sunni Salafi Wahhabi force component is divided further into three subdivisions competing to be recognized as the preeminent Sunni leadership. Among the warring sub-sects is al-Qaeda along with multiple al-Qaeda-allegiant groups around the world in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Syria, Sinai, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Egypt, Libya, Algeria, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Uzbekistan, Somalia, and Europe. Opposing al-Qaeda for the mantel of Sunni leadership is the Islamic State and its numerous Islamic State-allegiant groups in Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Egypt, Libya, Algeria, Tunisia, Sudan, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Sinai, Indonesia, Philippines, and Europe. The third Sunni contender for power is more nebulous and operates in a covert, psychological warfare and seditious mode, which make it a very difficult-to-counter, shadowy threat. This seditious Sunni entity is the Muslim Brotherhood anchored in the U.S., Qatar, Turkey, Egypt, Gaza, and Europe. While the Muslim Brotherhood is not the same type of armed kinetic threat as al-Qaeda or the Islamic State, it is as great or greater threat because they are now very successfully carrying out subversive preparation of the operational battlespace on the U.S. domestic front by silencing criticism with “Islamophobia.”

Dispelling a Myth

There is one additional point that requires clarification to understand the complex, multifaceted, simultaneous war within Islam and against the U.S. and the rest of the non-Muslim world. That point is the fact that Islam is a creed based on firm scriptural doctrine contained in the Quran (reputedly the verbatim words of the Allah god), the Hadiths (collections of the reports of the teachings, deeds and sayings of the Islamic prophet Muhammad), and the Sira (biography of Muhammad). These three doctrinal sources are together referred to as the Sunna, which is the basis for Islamic Sharia canonical law prescribing both religious and secular duties and retributive penalties for lawbreaking. That the Sunna and Sharia are the doctrinal foundation of Islam negates the contention that, because not all Muslims are jihadists or accept the violent jihadist injunctions, Islam is “moderate.” It does not matter how individuals or even groups of Muslims believe or interpret Islamic scripture, what matters is what is recorded in the Sunna and Sharia. Individuals and groups come and go, but the Sunna and Sharia are unchanging. Moderate Islam is a mythical deception. There may be moderate individual Muslims, but there is no moderate Islam. Sharia-allegiant Muslims, Sunni and Shia, are committed to the fundamental Islamic organizing principle – spreading Islam through spreading the Sharia. It is those Sunni and Shia Sharia-allegiant Muslims that should be the focus of U.S. security concerns.

The On-going War Accross Jihadistan

At present there are tri-cornered conflicts occurring in Iraq-Syria, Afghanistan, Yemen, and Libya. And of course those clashes don’t include the Islamic jihadist insurgencies in Somalia, Kenya, Nigeria, Chad, Niger, Cameroon, Philippines, Indonesia, and Thailand to name some of the better known. But the hostilities of immediate concern to the U.S. are the ones in Iraq-Syria, Afghanistan, Yemen, and Libya.

In the Iraq-Syria struggle the U.S. is providing combat air support to the Iranian dominated Shia Government of Iraq, thus putting the U.S. on the Shia Khomeinist Twelver side against the Sunni Islamic State Salafist Wahhabis. In Afghanistan the U.S. is fighting the Taliban, which is the stalking horse of the al-Qaeda Sunni Salafist Wahhabis, while the Islamic State Sunni Salafist Wahhabis are also in Afghanistan fighting against the Taliban, U.S., and the Shia Khomeinist Twelvers. In Yemen the U.S. is aligned with Sunni Saudi Arabia in their war against the Shia Houthis, the surrogate for the Iranian Shia Khomeinist Twelvers. The paradox from the U.S. point of view is that oil-rich Wahhabis in Saudi Arabia are the clandestine financial backers of the Islamic State Sunni Salafist Wahhabis that the U.S. is fighting in Iraq-Syria. In Libya al-Qaeda Sunni Salafist Wahhabis are vying with Islamic State Sunni Salafist Wahhabis for supremacy of the U.S.-created political and social morass. The U.S. is primarily a helpless spectator to this internecine Libyan Sunni blood-letting. In the U.S. itself the Muslim Brotherhood has managed to purge FBI and U.S. military training materials of accurate jihad information and counter-jihad tactics by convincing the White House that these things were politically incorrect Islamophobia.

What’s Wrong With This Picture?

The U.S. is aligned against itself. In the Iraq-Syria theater the U.S. is actively assisting the Shia against the Sunnis. In Yemen the U.S. is supporting the Sunni side against the Shia. In Afghanistan the U.S. is aligned with a Sunni government against the Sunni Taliban surrogate of the al-Qaeda Sunni Salafist Wahhabis. In Libya the situation is spinning out of control as the two Sunni components battle, while the U.S. is a paralyzed observer. In the U.S. the Obama regime has opened many channels to the Muslim Brotherhood in order to receive its guidance for countering Islamic jihad. And finally the Obama regime says it is on the verge of concluding a treaty with the Iranian Shia Khomeinist Twelvers that guarantees they acquire nuclear weapons, according to the treaty in a decade or sooner by cheating.

Obvious Conclusions

The first obvious conclusion is that the Obama regime has absolutely no coherent strategy to repel the Islamic enemy.

The second obvious conclusion is that the U.S. has dual Islamic enemies that are Sunni and Shia Sharia-allegiant Muslims.
The third obvious conclusion is that the Muslim Brotherhood and its various front organizations operating in the U.S. are covert agents of Islamic jihad and must be exposed as such and be removed from all positions of government policy influence.

The fourth obvious conclusion that any treaty that puts nuclear weapons in the possession of Shia Khomeinist Twelvers is absolute insanity and needs to be stopped.

The fifth obvious conclusion is that the U.S. desperately needs to finally stop dealing with Islamic jihad by employing tactical crisis management solutions and adopt a comprehensive strategy which is based on the reality that the U.S. loses regardless who triumphs in the Islamic religious sectarian war: Islamic State Sunni Salafist Wahhabis, al-Qaeda Sunni Salafist Wahhabis, Sunni Muslim Brotherhood, or Shia Khomeinist Twelvers. The U.S. has no allies that share our values in any of these Islamic groups. In fact, each of these Islamic groups is dedicated to replacing the U.S. Constitution with the Islamic Sharia jurisprudence. They are all existential enemies. Another French Mayor Says to Hell With Islam, and Posts up a Picture of a French Crusader With These Words

Another French mayor, named Didier Barachet, is saying to hell with Islam and has posted up a portrait of a French crusader with these words:

We Will Never Submit To islam! Respect Our culture, Our Traditions, Our Values, And Our country, Otherwise Leave It!

This was done after another mayor, Robert Chardon, declared that Islam should be banned from the nation of France.

According to one French report:

Didier Barachet, UMP mayor of Ardentes (Indre), relayed an anti-Islam message on his Facebook account. … Where the image appears there is a knight clutching his sword, alongside this message: “Never, we will submit to Islam!” “Respect our culture, our traditions, our values and my country, otherwise leave it!”

Geert Wilders: I Won’t Stop Warning the West About Islam

By Matthew Vadum. After two Muslim lawmakers tried to block world-renowned activist Geert Wilders from entering the country, he defiantly vowed his Geert Wilders warnings about the existential threat Islam poses to Western civilization would never cease.

“I know one thing,” Wilders told the audience April 29 at a Capitol Hill reception co-sponsored by Reps. Steve King (R-Iowa) and Louie Gohmert (R-Texas).

“They are very ineffective because I’m here,” he said to laughter and applause.

“It’s really risky to tell the truth about Islam,” said Wilders who has had round-the-clock bodyguards protecting him for more than a decade.

The Hidden Agenda of Islam Immigration to America

Today we are going to talk about the hidden agenda in high places, including the White House, in our government, and in the United Nations, of bringing in Islamic refugees into our country. This agenda is being hidden from the local governments. Large groups of refugees are being dumped into various communities without sufficient notification ore input from those communities.

Shahram has been dealing with this in Idaho. There have been protests and the necessity of police intervention. The media has been at these events and does not seem interested in digging into the situation to find out what is causing the problem. There are plans to dump refugees in Idaho without consulting with local officials. In the Boise area alone there are plans to dump some 2,000 refugees.

We had a guest, Leo Hohmann, one of the editors of World News Daily, who has recently published some articles on how some cities are being secretly targeted for the dumping of refugees. Some in Congress are demanding to know why there is such an influx of Syrian refugees. Obama is demanding that we should welcome all refugees and illegal immigrants into our society.

Where can we be informed about who is coming, how many are coming, and where are they being dumped? Local officials need to have answers to these things.

We believe that the Obama administration is actually planing to build communities within communities so that the new immigrants can take over the existing communities. An example of where this has already happened is Dearborn, MI. (Read more from this story HERE)

Radical Islamic Immigration: A Clear and Present Threat

World Trade CenterThe American people deserve an answer to one common sense question: how many more stories of homegrown terror do we need to see before politicians get serious about the threat of homegrown terror and the irresponsible immigration policies that have engendered it?

As Mark Levin noted last week on his show, not a single presidential candidate has seriously addressed this issue. To be fair, Bobby Jindal, a likely but undeclared candidate, has touched on this issue and Ted Cruz has introduced legislation to strip the passports from those who fight for the Islamic State. But this issue has not received the attention it deserves given the existential threat of our suicidal immigration system and the fact that this self-immolation is so avoidable.

Much like any other community, Muslim immigrant communities can be law abiding and peaceful residents of this country. But unlike nearly any other group, they have a greater probability of being saturated with radical elements that can cultivate a climate leading to over 150 known cases of individuals attempting to join the Islamic State.

Following 9/11, where the hijackers were let into this country’s front door, one would have thought the U.S. would be judicious about vetting immigrants from volatile and violent parts of the world.

The front line in the war against terror is not nation building across the globe, it is our immigration system. Yet, as we’ve noted before, the level of student visas from Saudi Arabia has increased ten-fold, refugees from volatile countries have grown exponentially, and immigration from predominantly Muslim countries has doubled overall.

Hence, instead of following the common sense recommendations of the bipartisan 9/11 commission, politicians doubled down on risky immigration policies. Outside of the D.C. beltway it is simple logic that there will be a higher percentage of immigrants with Jihadist proclivities if they came from parts of the world where those views are prevalent. Once these immigrants are admitted and become citizens, they have the right to harbor those views like everyone else, but why should we irresponsibly admit those who are likely to represent a security risk? The more people with radical Islamic views who are allowed into the country, the more it will cultivate an environment that we are seeing today in Minneapolis.

After six more Somali immigrants from Minnesota were arrested for attempting to join up with ISIS, the U.S. Attorney for Minnesota sounded the alarm many of us have been ringing for quite some time. U.S. Attorney Andrew Lugar admitted this should not be dismissed as a few random instances of radicalism. “To be clear, we have a terror recruitment problem in Minnesota,” he declared.

While there are undoubtedly many peaceful individuals in this community, clearly there are more friends, neighbors, and religious leaders who are encouraging these un-American beliefs. Many of these religious leaders preach in mosques funded by terror-supporting governments. Just recently, Obama attended the opening ceremony of a $100 million mosque together with Turkey’s President Recip Erdogen, one of the most dangerous Sunni terror supporters in the Middle East. His government is funding this mosque on our own soil, and due to his radical ties one must question his motives.

For how much longer are we going to allow extreme political correctness stifle sound public policy?

In 2010, the co-chairs of the 9/11 Commission published a report showing how the homegrown terror threat had grown substantially since 2001. “The U.S. is arguably now little different from Europe in terms of having a domestic terrorist problem involving immigrant and indigenous Muslims as well as converts to Islam,” wrote Lee Hamilton and Tom Kean.

Obviously, the threat of homegrown terror mixed with cyber jihad and recruitment has only gotten worse in the ensuing five years. With control of both houses of Congress, one would think Republicans would address this area of “immigration reform” that should concern everyone. Republicans can pursue the following policies:

Fix our broken refugee policies and limit the UN’s power of resettlement to ensure we are not letting in security threats.

Implement a program similar to NSEERS (National Security Exit-Entry Registration System) in which non-immigrant visas from risky parts of the world must be monitored by a local ICE office. If someone is here on a student visa and drops out of college to work on creating bombs, we should know about it.

The Visa Waiver Program Suspension Act (H.R. 5434), sponsored by Rep. Doug Collins (R-GA), which would suspend the Visa Waiver Program until we establish control over the number of terror threats we let into the country.

The Expatriate Terrorist Act, sponsored by Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Rep. Steve King (R-IA), which would revoke the citizenship of those who fight for foreign terrorist organizations, such as ISIS.

It would be extremely politically perilous for Democrats to oppose these measures. Sadly, don’t expect Republicans to get serious about one of the biggest threats of our time until they hear from the people or until, God forbid, there is another terror attack on American soil. A Terrorist’s Son Flips the White House’s Definition of Islam as the ‘Religion of Peace’ on Its Head [+video]

His name? Mosab Hassan Yousef. Not only is he a convert to Christianity, but he also worked as a double agent within the Israeli security service Shin Bet against the State Department-designated terrorist organization Hamas.

The author of the “Son of Hamas” recently sat down in an interview with Glenn Beck of The Blaze, and he uttered a phrase that is not new, but is nonetheless striking . . .

Above is an interview with the Jerusalem Post, “A Terrorist’s Son Flips the White House’s Definition of Islam as the ‘Religion of Peace’ on Its Head,” conducted in 2012 where he provides some nuance and perspective on his provocative comment. The article provides a succinct biography for Mosab Hassan Yousef:

In 1978, Mosab is born to the son of one of Hamas’ seven founders, Sheikh Hassan Yousef. Prepped to follow in his father’s footsteps and become a terrorist, Mosab starts asking questions until gradually, over the years, he becomes convinced that the ways of Hamas cannot be the truth. He subsequently converts to Christianity. He becomes an agent for Shin Bet. The intelligence he provides prevents terror attacks and leads to the incarceration of Hamas terrorists. In 2007, he leaves the West Bank in favor of the west coast. He gain(ed) political asylum in the US…

UPDATE: Allegation that Co-Pilot of Germanwings Catastrophic Crash was a Recent Islamic Convert Under Fire

pilotBy John Nelson. The author of the German source suggesting that the Germanwings co-pilot was a recent Muslim convert is Michael Manhiemmer. He writes for a blog called “German PI-News.” PI stands for “politically incorrect.” It appears the only news sites carrying the possibility of him being a Muslim convert are disseminating Manhiemmer’s original piece. There are also some other websites like the Gateway Pundit that are disseminating a Facebook fan page with an ISIS theme which are also of questionable sources. The Gateway Pundit screenshot revealed that the page had only been setup an hour before Facebook removed it. It too appears to be a hoax as no terror organizations have stepped up to take credit for the crash.

The German and French authorities whom have searched the premises of the Lubitz Household have revealed two doctor notes telling him not to go to work and prescription drugs consistent with mental illness. His ex-girlfriend also revealed his mental illness and suggested that Lubitz would do something that would change the airline industries forever. The New York Post is also saying that his ex-girlfriend had told Andreas Lubitz that she was also pregnant and likely carrying his baby. Other theories, of which there are numerous, suggest that he knew his flying career was over as soon as his company knew of his mental state (7). She had also revealed that he was disgruntled over pay with the value airline company, and Lubitz knew because of his psychological condition that he could never operate a long range flying aircraft.

As it stands, the potential for him being a Muslim-convert is very remote as nothing totally conclusive has been released to make firm that case. Furthermore, all the major indications are leaning towards him not being Muslim, and being mentally ill. That isn’t to mean that one should draw an unfair parallel between those ideas, but rather observe the potential for inexplicable acts of vengeance regardless of how they originate. Additionally, Lubitz was able to hide his medical information from his employer for years as he passed the airline psychological testing, and never informed his employer of his existing medical condition. Subsequently, the recent absense from his work appears to be the result of him receiving medical treatment for his eyes, and possibily time taken off for “burnout syndrome,” which sounds a kin to a nervous breakdown. At present, reports that anti-depression medication were found to be in his home.

It could be noted that people who are depressed don’t normally commit mass murder. However, given that his dreams of flying were likely to cease, previous existing conditions regarding his mental state, and girlfriend potentially being pregnant, this confluence of problems likely pushed him over the edge. What has become more clear is there is not anything consistent with an ideological or religious motive lending a terrorist label to be appropriate. Mass-Murder and homocide by means of suicide appear to be the most likely explanation.

German PI-News: Co-Pilot Was a Recent Muslim Convert

By Speisa. According to Michael Mannheimer, a writer for German PI-News, Germany now has its own 9/11, thanks to the convert to Islam, [the plane’s co-pilot] Andreas Lubitz.

Translation from German:

All evidence indicates that the copilot of Airbus machine in his six-months break during his training as a pilot in Germanwings, converted to Islam and subsequently either by the order of “radical”, ie. devout Muslims , or received the order from the book of terror, the Quran, on his own accord decided to carry out this mass murder. As a radical mosque in Bremen is in the center of the investigation, in which the convert was staying often, it can be assumed that he – as Mohammed Atta, in the attack against New York – received his instructions directly from the immediate vicinity of the mosque.

Converts are the most important weapon of Islam, because their resume do not suggest that they often are particularly violent Muslims. Thus, Germany now has its own 9/11, but in a reduced form. And so it is clear that Islam is a terrorist organization that are in accordance with §129a of the Criminal Code to prohibit it and to investigate its followers. But nothing will happen. One can bet that the apologists (media, politics, “Islamic Scholars”) will agree to assign this an act of a “mentally unstable” man, and you can bet that now, once again the mantra of how supposedly peaceful Islam is will continue. And worse still, the attacks by the left against those who have always warned against Islam, will be angrier and merciless . . .

Germanwings Crash: What We Know About the Flight’s Harrowing Final 10 Minutes

At 10:30 a.m., the plane is flying at 38,000 feet.

At some point around this time, the pilot is heard asking the co-pilot to take over the controls. A chair is heard moving and a door is heard closing.

At 10:31 a.m., the plane starts losing altitude.

The co-pilot is alone at the controls, and the accelerated descent is made manually. The pilot is heard knocking on the door and asking over the speaker to enter the cockpit. There is no response from the co-pilot. (Read more from this story HERE)

As a Team Leader Corporal-in-Charge, Klein led ambush patrols in the bush for 240 nights in a row! His duties and level of responsibility were commensurate with that of a captain on an Army Special Forces (SF) A-Team doing the same mission.

In carrying out his duties, Klein gathered human intelligence in order to plan the ambush he would conduct that evening as he also coordinated three other ambushes to be executed concurrently. During the day he encrypted the ops message he sent to his company commander to de-conflict with other Marine activities in the local area of operations (AO).

The distinguishing characteristic of Marine CAPs that differentiated them from Army SF A-Teams was, while the SF lived and operated from fortified U.S. firebases, the Marine CAP teams lived “outside the wire” in the Vietnamese village they were assigned to and were regarded by the villagers as a part of their community.

This CAP people-to-people relationship greatly facilitated the team’s intelligence collection because information on Viet Cong (VC) and North Vietnamese Army (NVA) forces in the AO was more readily shared by the South Vietnamese with resident U.S. forces than was the case when U.S. patrols merely passed through an area. Because of this forward-deployed stationing and intelligence collecting, Corporal Klein’s CAP Team, as well as other similarly forward-deployed Marine CAP teams, enjoyed a great deal of success in intercepting and killing NVA units infiltrating from the A Shau Valley.

Following Vietnam, Klein became a “mustang,” that is, an enlisted man promoted to commissioned officer.

In the 1970’s Lieutenant Klein functioned as a Battalion Communications-Electronic Warfare Officer training Marines at 29 Palms, CA, in tactics that were later used in Operation Desert Storm. During this period Klein established his bona fides as an expert operational planner with the hierarchy of the Marine Corps.

The Story Continues in Iraq

After the commencement of Operation Iraqi Freedom, now-former Lieutenant Klein was well-recognized as a war planning expert within “the Marine fraternity” based on his proven success collecting intelligence in the midst of enemy forces and turning that intelligence into “kills.” Consequently, Klein was contracted by the Marine Corps to assist in planning for the Marine assault to capture Fallujah, Iraq, from Islamic jihadists in 2004. However, at this point, the story begins to sour. Based on Klein’s extensive Marine combat experience, he began to teach Corps planners about Mohammad’s fanatical “way of war” because he knew how important it is for U.S. forces going into combat to understand the thinking and planning guidelines of the enemy.

Political Correctness Intervenes

But when the Islamic basis and thrust of Klein’s teaching became known to the Pentagon, he was told to cease and desist from his approach and to delete the Mohammadan- and Islamic-war aspects of his war planning advice. In Klein’s estimation, ceasing to impart this insightful knowledge to Marines preparing for vicious combat with such a rabid opponent would be a criminal omission of his part. Consequently, he refused to omit such potentially life-saving knowledge of the enemy in preparing brother Marines for battle. (And as it turned out, the Battle of Fallujah was the heaviest urban combat Marines were involved in since the Battle of Hue City during the 1968 Tet Offensive.) Eventually, a “compromise” of sorts was worked out and Klein completed his service contract activities.

Steve Klein’s Counter-Jihad Story Is A “Family Affair”

Matt Klein, Klein’s son, served as an Army sergeant in Bosnia, Afghanistan, Iraq, and then back to Afghanistan. Being as versatile as his father, young Klein is a combat veteran in the capacities of combat medic, sniper, and ambush team leader. As a result of Matt’s courage and skill in an engagement with the jihadists in Iraq, he was decorated by the Army with the Bronze Star and Combat V for saving the lives of an officer whose arm was blown off and five other wounded soldiers by applying his medical expertise and by stopping the enemy with a courageous counterattack.

But again, like his father, Matt Klein ran into political correctness imposed from higher authority, hindering his efforts to fight against the Islamic jihadists. Young Klein encountered his political correctness problem in Iraq for failing to comply with rules of engagement (ROE) when he was leading combat patrols. The ROE called for patrols to be accompanied by a local Iraqi; however, Steve had advised his son Matt not to include a local Iraqi in his patrol because of unreliability of Iraqis as demonstrated in “green on blue” incidents. In spite of the successes of his patrols, Matt’s brigade commander called him in to insist that he follow ROE by adding local Iraqis on his patrols. He demurred and requested to be relieved of patrol leader duty and to be returned to his status as a combat medic. The brigade commander agreed to this change.

This enforcement of the ROE requirement to include an untrusted Iraqi on patrol is a classic case of pursuing the fiction that Muslims share our opposition to Islamic jihad. However, they do not because jihad, that is, imperialistic war of conquest against non-Muslims, is the core commandment of the Islamic religion! For example:

Quran (9:29) – “Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.” “People of the Book” refers to Christians and Jews. According to this verse, they are to be violently subjugated, with the sole justification being their religious status. Verse 9:33 tells Muslims that Allah has charted them to make Islam “superior over all religions.” This chapter was one of the final “revelations” from Allah and it set in motion the tenacious military expansion, in which Muhammad’s companions managed to conquer two-thirds of the Christian world in the next 100 years. Islam is intended to dominate all other people and faiths.

It is insane to continue to put the lives of our armed services personnel at risk to perpetuate the myth undergirding our irrational national security policy that Islam is compatible with Western Civilization. As the above Islamic scriptural quotation and explanation leaves no doubt, the U.S. Government’s compatibility myth, the foundation of our preposterous national security policy, is demonstrated to be counterfactual by Islamic doctrine itself.

Steve Klein’s Counter-Jihad Story Continues In The U.S.

Immediately after the 9/11 World Trade Center jihadist attack, Klein jumped into action. Using his Marine CAP intelligence collection training, he visited California mosques with translators to question the Muslims there. All of these mosque interviews more or less followed the same pattern; they would begin amicably in English with protestations of “We love America,” but soon degenerated into hostility to America and non-Muslims expressed in Arabic. When Klein went public with the results of his mosque interviews revealing Muslims’ anti-American attitudes, he was largely refuted, doubted, or ignored by skeptics.

Then about four years ago, Klein’s translator, Nabil Bissada of the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department, invited Steve to appear on Arabic Christian TV “The Way” to address the dire situation of Egyptian Coptic Christians who are under constant threat of death from Egyptian Muslims. The format for this series of programs was that Klein would present an American, non-Muslim point of view as the only English speaker in a panel of guests.

The owner of this TV outlet, Joseph Nasralla, mentored Klein in broadcasting, and after about a year he gave him his own show, “Wake Up America.” Klein’s popular show, also carried by Los Angeles DISH TV, Channel 35.3 as well as being aired internationally, is basically an “Intel Brief” dealing with developments in Islam’s civilizational clash with the Western world about which Americans and all non-Muslims should be aware.

Due to Klein’s media notoriety with Egyptian Coptic Christians, prior to September 11, 2012, he was contacted by Nakoula Basseley Nakoula, producer to the infamous video, “Innocence of Muslims” for consultation. Nakoula, a Coptic Christian, confided to Klein his motive. Nakoula’s rationale might be termed – “inside baseball” in the world of Islamic jihad.

The Islamic jihad “playbook” that is largely being followed modern jihadists, “Milestones: In The Shade Of The Quran,” was written by Muslim Brotherhood Egyptian strategist Sayyid Qutb. As Qutb lays out in his book, preparing the Muslim world (“ummah”) for jihad requires “progressive revelation” to gradually introduce them to the extremist aspect of Islamic ideology – murder of non-believers in the name of the Muslim god Allah. In fact, the current leader of al-Qaeda, Ayman al-Zawahiri has declared: “we must not throw the masses — scant in knowledge — into the sea before we teach them to swim.” The jihadist fear is that a premature jihad would result in wrong choices that would not be in accord with Islamic law, the Shariah.

Nakoula had just this concept in mind because he reasoned – a movie mocking Mohammad would incite the Muslim ummah into frenzied revenge jihad, causing it to misfire. As he theorized with Klein, if the Muslim world is unprepared for organized jihad, it will be easier for the West to defeat. He likened premature jihad to Hitler launching World War II in the mid-1930’s when the Nazis had not yet completed building sufficient war materiel. Klein agreed to be his English language spokesman, thus getting sucked into the “Benghazi vortex” and increasing his notoriety markedly with both the FBI and Islamic jihadists. Klein reports that it felt to him like Obama and Holder would have preferred for him to have joined Nakoula in jail.

The world attention that Obama and Clinton directed to Nakoula’s video certainly advanced his objective of inciting frenzied jihadist actions. In this regard, Klein has a “mission accomplished” attitude in that, Nakoula’s production caused jihadist violence that resulted in decidedly negative world opinion toward Islamic destructiveness, even if it didn’t cause a worldwide jihad misfire as originally envisioned.

The “Enemy Of The Islamic State”

As a result of Klein’s TV broadcasting and association with Nakoula, he was singled out by the Islamic State in the seventh issue of its Internet e-zine, “Dabiq (PDF)”* as “a spiteful crusader who mocked Rasullah.”** This dangerous attention from the Islamic State prompted the FBI to consult with Klein about his personal security.

Conclusion

Steve Klein has summed up his personal counter-jihad as a fight that is unavoidable because Islamic jihad is an existential threat to the American way of life. Therefore, he invokes John Paul Jones: “I have not yet begun to fight!,” as well as “Semper Fidelis for Jesus.”

U.S. Public University Passes Sharia Resolution, Bans Criticism of Islam

In the wake of recent attacks targeting Muslims on American college campuses and around the world, ASUNM unanimously passed a cautionary resolution at Wednesday’s meeting urging UNM administration to state their opposition to Islamophobia.

Sen. Udell Calzadillas Chavez, who introduced Resolution 6S, said there is a widespread culture of fear and ignorance that perpetuates violence against Muslims. The purpose of the resolution is to provoke better understanding of Islam in the UNM community.

“This is a proactive approach to events in the United States and around the world,” he said.

Citing domestic attacks against Islam such as the February killing of three Muslim students at the University of North Carolina and a Molotov cocktail being thrown at the Albuquerque Islamic Center last year, as well as the continuing fight against ISIS in the Middle East, the legislation states that UNM “should stand strong in opposition of Islamophobia and related hate crimes.”

Study: Quarter of Americans Say ISIL is True Islam

By Aamer Madhani. More than a quarter of Americans and nearly half of senior Protestant pastors say the Islamic State terrorist group offers a true representation of Islamic society, according to a pair of new surveys by LifeWay Research.

The findings that indicate many Americans have a dim outlook on Islam come as President Obama sent a formal request to Congress on Wednesday to authorize the use of military force to combat the Islamic State. Meanwhile, police in North Carolina tried to determine whether the shooting deaths of three Muslim students were hate-motivated.

Forty-five percent of 1,000 senior Protestant pastors surveyed say the Islamic State, also known as ISIL or ISIS, “gives a true indication of what an Islamic society looks like.” Forty-seven percent disagreed with the statement, according to LifeWay, a Nashville-based, non-profit Christian research group.
